Yah, so how do people find out stuff like when jay is going to have a concert and where before they start selling the tix. Because there was once wen I found out about the concert late and then all the good tix were sold out, so, does he have like a fansite or anything that will tell you when his concerts are? and presales or anything like that? ($ i'll use jonas brothers as an example T_T lol, but they send emails about their concerts and stuff to fans who subscirbe) so does jay have anything like that?
thnnxxx :)

I would like to know as well.... Unfortunately Jay's official site is in mandarin so it's not very helpful for us who can't read Chinese

With Jay, all the official information is in Chinese, so you basically have to ask someone to translate. The upcoming events currently listed on Jay's official fansite are as follows:

May 16: Quanzhou Jay Chou World Tour concert
July 3: Australia Jay Chou World Tour concert

Hmm...it'd be nice if we had a stickied list of concert dates and locations. The official site will often not add something to the schedule until after tickets have started selling, though. I'm not sure why it works that way.

I've been wondering the same thing! I think we need this vital information in English and I would really appreciate if we could have a pinned thread or some list of the coming concert dates. I don't speak Chinese either but I would love to fulfill my dream one day and see Jay in concert - no matter if I couldn't understand a word what he's saying or singing but you know, just to be there - it would be awesome. But that would only be possible if I got the info in good time so that I could plan everything (plane tickets, hotel reservations, vacation etc.). It's not like I can fly all the way from here for just a weekend :D

Btw I checked ticketmaster and got no results :( But there are still upcoming concerts, right? Does anybody know if there are dates in China on October? I have vacation then...

There are still concerts coming up, but it might be a while before we know the schedule for October. I do hope you get to see him in a concert when you go, but I don't think anyone can say for sure where he'll be at that time. He has done a lot of concerts in China in the past year, so I'm not sure whether he'll have further stops there. The latest concert we know is in July, so please be patient.

Oh, ok I understand. Thanks a lot! Sorry if I sounded impatient. :shy: I was just thinking that if he is on a world tour now, maybe all the dates for this specific tour are already announced (but I have no idea when the tour started and when will it end etc.). If the tour ends in July, I bet Jay's gonna take a break after that. Then again I don't know how crazy schedules he usually has, I mean how often he's on the road.
I've also heard that the tickets get sold out in minutes as they come out. Like you have to be exactly at the right place at the right time. And with my elementary Chinese skills...well let's just say it's gonna be really really amazing if I managed to get hold of one ticket. But it's good to have dreams!

It'd be a lot to figure out all in advance. When the tour started, we weren't in a depression. FYI, this tour started late 2007, so it's been going on for a while. Lots of people keep asking when the DVD is going to be released, also, because there was no 2008 or 2009 DVD. It's still the same tour. That's why no schedule was released at the start of the tour. I have no idea when it'll be finished, whether Australia will be the final stop. He'll need breaks for filming ("Pandamen" and "Ci Ling") and recording his new album, but I do hope you get the chance to see him (and hopefully, someday, I'll see him).

Oh, I see. Thanks for clearing that out. So he's still on the same tour since '07 even though Capricorn came out last year? That's a bit confusing to me, I've used to bands who arrange tours supporting only the newest album but I guess it can work that way as well.
Yes I hope you get to see him as well! ^_^ Right now I'm maybe going to be in Beijing for the whole July so maybe I'll get lucky too...
