The camera was prohibited to take in (but I saw some of fan used their camera in their mobile phone instead. unfortunately I don't have it)

About his out fit, I'm not sure if I could remember all of them. Cos he changed his outfit every one to two song!!

The first one is the same as the cover of "The One" singing the first song Shoung jie gun and Ban shou ren (He fight the dancer wearing as a beast by a sword in this song)

then he changed to more comfortable moving clothes like a basketball t-shirt and sang Ba wo hui lai le.

Then He sang Ye ye Pao De Cha with the dancer wearing and acting as an old man then they danced together then he sang this song again with piano

And then ... Well the green sport cloth while he sang some song I can't remember (sorry) and played basketball in the same time. He trown the ball away to the audience after finished singing that song.

He had a pingpong bat in his hand while singing San Nien er ban

He played a Chinese drum before singing Long quan.

And he played piano in An jing ( he let us sang "shi yin wei wo tai ai ni" >_<~) and also played Silent Night as our chirstmas song and mixed it with Shi jie mo ri (right? I'm not so sure. So sorry)

Well He also sang "I believe" OST Of the korean Movie named My Sassy Girl too!!

He changed his cloth like a soldier when he sang Zui hou de zhan yi while the dancer act as there were in the real war. Females act like a nurse, male acted as injuried soldier. He jumped into the hole on the stage after finished sing this song.

in Encore, He sang Ni ting de dao and another song I can't remember

He tried to speak Thai word like "Sawasdee Krab" too

He also sing some song with the guitar and wearing the same cloth in Qing Tian MV (the green-and-black one)

the song he sang ( which I could remember)
- Gui ji
- Xing Qing
- Gou nu
- hui dao gou qu
- Long qoun feng
- Qing Tian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Dong fong po
- ......more ... ^^;;

to be continued ..... (or anyone have more things I didn't say pls share with us!)

Wow, lucky Thai fans, lots of new songs from YHM and Hidden Track.
Jay singing " I believe " , wow - wow - wow !.
Did he say more, joke or anything ?. Any surprises, any guest star, any local star attending ?. What about the teen Thai princess, in other thread it was mentioned that she's a fan of Jay too !.

I think the songs list are almost correct.
However, in en core, he sang Dong feng po first and then Kai bu liao kou respectively.
I think he also sang shi jie mo ri.
He also changed some lyrics of the song for thai fans and changed the last sentence of the song to be "sa wad dee kab"
He spoke Thai many sentences like:
Sa wad dee kub
Sa bai dee mai?
Kob khun Kab. (Actually he said kob khun kub (thank you) after finishing every song)

One thing that impressed me is the words he said to Thai fans that "Eventhough our languagues are different, but you guys come to see my concert, music has no boundaries" (something like that)

I'm so impressed with his concert and it's just the perfect present for me this year. Thank you jay for sharing your wonderful music with us.

Hey!.. I have some pics from the concert but I don't know how to post them here. Anyone can help pls??

The concert was really great even though there were still a LOT of seats left. The fans got to see him REAL close cos the hall's kinda small. I felt so lucky.

Actually his costumes are kinda similar to those he wore in The One Concert. Also the songs are mostly the same except he sang some songs from his new album like Qing Tian, Dong Feng Po, and also Gui Ji.

During the concert Jay was very friendly and cute. He tried to speak Thai phases such as "Sawasdee krub" (hello), and "Kob Koon Krub" (thank you) all the time. He even said sth like "Sabai dee mai puen puen" (how're you guys doing?). That's very impressive! He also changed the lyrics in some of the songs to Thai, like singing Sawasdee Krub at the end. In one of the songs, I think it's Long Juan Feng, in the end he sang "Thank you so muchhhhh".

He still didn't speak English much except that "thank you so much" part. There's a translator translating what he said to the fans so we could understand what he's saying. Oh!.. one time during his performance, he knelt down to get a bunch of flowers from fans. And he reached down to shake hand with one lucky fan. The crowd just went crazy screaming!

Before the concert was over, he said one thing that impressed all the fans. He said, "Even though we speak different languages, you guys still come to my concert, so thank you very much".

Gosh!... he's soooo cute. I don't know how to put it into words. I love him even more after the concert.

Btw, I heard that he's going to Samui Island for Christmas with his mom but this is not confirmed. Today he's having an autograph session (which of course I'm attending... hehehe) but after that no one seems to know what he plans to do. I also heard that he would fly straight back to Taiwan after going back from the island.

OMG...
Jay is SOO friggin HOT!! i was at the A1 1st floor and jay came to walk at the T thingy, and GOSH, his skin was FLAWLESS!!!
After waiting for the concert to start for about 1/2 hour, the concert started with the MV of "In Father's Name". Everybody sang along, man, especially the "A-ya-cheg-ge-che-ge-A-ya" loudly. When the dancers came out, with the techno-robot outfit, a HUGE adrenalin rush, everybody started to scream, and there he was, in a blue or red (sorry don't remember) armor outfit. Everybody sang along, the "Eh, Eh, Ah-Ee" part. It was a BLAST, man. i got really tired after the first song coz 80% of my energy that i've been saving is used up, screaming my head off. There was this one part where the lights on the stage went out and Jay and his dancerz were playing the GLOW IN THE DARK nunchunks. IT WAS AWESOME. I think Jayz was pink or green. (sorry don't rmb)
Anywayz, the heat, the concert spirit was FANTASTIC. THe second song, "Ban Shou Ren" was cool, how he fought with his "beast" dancers.
For Grandfather's Tea, he came out in the "Texas" brownish-orange Tshirt, with the "Dragon" Bling Bling. Trust me. He was SO HOT!! The old Yeye came out with this bird cage of some sort. They danced together. SO CUTE!! I WAS VERY IMPRESSED when he showed his basketball skills, i mean, he dribbled between his legs and ALL, he didn't make a mistake AT ALL. UNEXPECTEDLY, he THREW the Basketball to the A1 zone, and my friend who got pushed to the front almost caught it, it BOUNCED OFF her HAND!!! For the song, Year 3 Class 2, he came out in green, similar to his MV, with a ping pong stick, at the end, HE THREW IT IN THE FRONT!! lucky lucky people!!
JAY looked good in everything. I love his outfit for Dragon Fist, he was wearing a silky blue tank with black pants with a jeweled dragon embroidered on his left leg. I LOVE that outfit, that'z why i rmb the details. haha.
Dad, I'm back was impressive, although there was not rapping part like "The One", but he went "ah-ah" and "yeh-yeh" in parts that were appropriate. He also danced with his dancers.
The break for the concert was excellently organized, it didn't keep the crowd bored. His dancers came out to do this break dance, where everybody screamed and cheered. Gosh. They are great dancerz, man.
On the screen, it showed Jay, when he was little, playing the piano and dancing on the chair, similar to "The One" concert. The crowd laughed, said "ah, so cute".
For An Jing, he was on the piano and EVERYONE was hypnotized by the magic, singing along and shouting "shi yin wei wo tai ai ni". Nobody dared to scream "Zhou Jie Lun WO AI NI". I didn't, coz it would BREAK the spell. Jay was so nice, for the second to last "shi yin wei wo tai ai ni", he let US sing that part, we screamed that part and OMG, he SMILED!! i think he was IMPRESSED!!! btw, he was wearing a longlseeved white shirt with black tie.
Black humor was GREAT, everybody sang along, ESPECIALLY me MAN, I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!!!!!
For Tornado, it seemed like THE LONGEST song, like it went on and on and on. it was MAGIC.
I think everyone loved Simple Love, Jay came out and walked on the T, OMG, he bend down to pick up a rose from the crowd, at the end of the T!!! Lucky lucky!! Someone threw a present box, and he picked it up!!!!!! He introduced all his staff for this concert, respectively, we all clapped and cheered.
Then, he went off and it was like his concert seemed over. The lights on stage went out. A HUGE adrenalin rush, everyone was going "Zhou Jie Lun", screaming and pleading for him to come back on stage. So the drums accompanied the "Zhou Jie Lun" chant, faster and faster, i throat was dried and my ass hurted, WHO CARES man!! i was screaming and screaming.
Then came the sirens--The Last Battle. Jay came out in the green soldier Tshirt. He was SO H-O-T!! While he was singing, i told my friend to throw our teddy bear that we've bought for him. ARGH. I think he didn't s

ee it, though it was right in the middle!! I think it was the wrong time though, coz like he was about to jump in to the hole.
Everybody sang "Hui Dao Guo Qu" which was accompanied by the guitar; two songs with guitar. (sorry can't rmb).
Then he got up and sang Xing Xin, (correct me if i'm wrong) he walked on the T again, and his dancers came out, and the lady dancer who is dressed up as a nurse picked up our teddy bear and some signs and was waving with it! I wish it was jay who picked it up though. Anywayz, Kai Bu Liao Koh was AWESOME, he came to the T again and BENT DOWN TO TOUCH THIS GUY;S HANDS!!!! FRIGGIN. ANd the guy that GOT TO TOUCH his hands was like two people away from ME!! so i was like trying to grab him, but he was STILL too FAR. BUT I GOT TO SEE HIS FACE UP SOOOO CLOSE!!!! Jay smiled when he did that, HE HAD A DIMPLE ON THE RIGHT CHEEK!! SO CUTE!!!!!
Jay ended the concert with Dong Feng Poh, which everybody sang along. He was wearing this white longsleeved shirt with a knitted black or blue overshirt that was sorta like a tank. He was SO HANDSOME!

**He said "Sawadee Krab" and lotz of "Kob Khun Krab", which made US ALL SCREAM, and during the end of one of his songs, he sang "Sabai Dee Mai Krub"~~!!! I ALWAYS screamwhen he spoke THAI!!!! SO HOT BABE!!
** During this piano performance, he reinvented ye ye pao de cha and played "Silent Night". He also said something about how we speak different languages, you came to see the concert".. smthng like that. dun rmb. i'll ask my friend who rmbs THE EXACT WORDS.
*** AND YOU GUYS THAT WENT THERE, YOU WERE GREAT!!!! I AM SO HAPPY, HOW YOU GUYS SANG ALONG, SCREAMED AND GAVE HIM GIFTS!!! I BET HE IS SOOOO IMPRESSED AND PLEASED!!!!! THANKS FOR THE SPIRIT!!!! this gives me hope that he'll come back again.
****My friend and I were waving this fan which had "diao" and "ni" somen glowstiks too. When Jay sang "William's Castle", he also walked up to the T and i waved this diao sign at him and GAVE HIM LIKE THIS SUPER HARD EYE CONTACT and OMG, i THINK he caught my EYE, I THINK. OR ELSE HE WAS JUST LOOKING at the overall area i was in. it's possible, coz my friend and i were the only ones with the lettering in A1 zone.
~* Since this is my FIRST concert to an artist WHO I TRUELLY love, it STILL seems like its a DREAM. I woke up this morning and i was like WHOA. I SAW JAY. LIVE. it makes me so sad to think about how this JAY week is OVER now. Yesterday before the concert, i went to wrap Jay's present at a department store. Recalling the interview and the press from the day before, which i attended, i cried. LITERALLY. tears came down. sounds cheezy. nonsense. nuts. i know. but i LOVE him (like you guys) and he like there, right in front of you. Itz like a dream, you wish you could stop time or slow things down. ARGH i sound crazy. sorry. i think everybody in the crowd felt REALLY REALLY close to him last night. Everything is happening so FAST now. i wish i could STOP time. you guys that have similar feelings please share!!!
or call me 09-5331536. i'm going to the autograph thngy today.
[[the order of events is not EXACTLY correct, short memory here. except the first few songs. some songs are not mentioned too. sorry. i don;t rmb. plz correct me. thanx]]
ps. do u think that he will open or look at the presents that we gave him?
pps. did anyone see his mom yet?
-btw, i have pics from the Emporium press. i'll be more than happy to share

He played a joke too! He introduced us a guitarist and he asked us if he's cute Ha haha

There's a VDO about Jay's Childhood Before he played piano. It was little Jay played piano in the song I didn't know (again so sorry) and he standed on the piano chair acting as a conducter! He once falled off that made us scream!! (Actually, we always screamed whatever he did ^^;;)

Hey!.. I have some pics from the concert but I don't know how to post them here. Anyone can help pls??

Hey I just remembered that he get a bunch of roses from someone in the A zone! So jealous!!!! I wanna be in that zone but I can't. I'm in the SG zone which I couldn't changed it because it was a free ticket my friend got it. In fact, I was supposed to go home in Chiangmai. But my sister of my friend called and said there were free tickets for us!! XD~ No need to think about anything. We just said YES and get out from the dorm and catch a bus to the Impact Arena. I was so excited.

When we reached there, it was about 19.30 so we just got in to the arena and waited about 20 min then the voice said "THE CONCERT WILL START IN NEXT MINUTE" or sth like that. The concert start with the newest CM of Panasonic X70 and In father's name MV! That made my heart beat up so fast!! This is the first real concert I'd attend. Really impressed me so much!

I saw some of audience wore this cocert T-shirt! I'd like to get it but I don't kow where to get it >_<

After the live, I bought his new EP and got 3 big posters and load of this live's handbill. >_<~

even though the concert is not totally full , jay is so lucky to have such wonderful thai fans . he sounds so obliging and charming with his effort to speak thai to his thai fans . jay is special - same as in malaysia where he tries to be close to his fans by adapting a song with the malaysian flavour .

i went to Jay concert too! the Doors opened at 6.30 but i went there about 15.00!! but it was already a long queue at door number2!! (i brought 2000 bath ticket!!) about 200 ppl above me.. and then the time past so fast.. the queue got longer and then at 6.00 o clock!! i dunno y the ppl above me got more and more!! (i was very angry coz i stayed in the queue but they didn't) and the staffs were very impolite!! they shouted and talked to us like prisoner.. ppl pull and push!! i feeled like i was in the waved!! my feet didn't touch the floor but i moved to right and left (very strang feeling)!! and when the doors open!! everyone like really run out of oxygen!! they try to get into the small door!! and i falled down!! T__T and someone stood on my hand. the staffs suddenly cloesd the door and yelled!! they told us to keep in the queue!! (How!!)
and when i got in to the door.. i ran very fast and there!! infront of the stage!! in the zone A!! the concert started about 8!! and it started by opened "yi fu zhi ming"MV. and there it was Jay!! he look very cute!! i saw him so cloes!! and ppl screamed so heavy!! (although they can't sing Jay 's song) he sang "zoung jie kun" at first. he played 5 songs piano. (i cried so heavy when i saw he played pianoT__T)
and he said "sawadde kub"(hello in Thai) so many times and he had change some part of song to be "sawaddee kub" (so cute!!) and he throw the basketball, paddle, and the part of his knight's suit. and one of my left hand was touch to Jay hand!! (so jealous) and there were many fan throw the gifes to Jay.. (one of gife hit Jay's right foot) but he put it up and took it. one of Jay'sfan gave him a white rose!! and he took it and smell it!! (so cute!! everyone screamed so louder!!) he sang "kai bu lio ko" at last!!

And today.. i went to Dusit tha Nee.. Jay's hotel.
becoz i join the activity Z close to Jay and i was chosen!! i saw Jay so close!! just only 1 step from Jay to me!! he was cutting a x mas cake. he bited it just once and smile.. (he smile like a little kid) i sat very close to Jay when we took a photo in a big group.. friend of mine sat next to Jay.. and i was very jealous her so i said "ni tai qua fen le" --dunno how to say in English.. sth like you are too much..)(my friend is Thai but she can speaks a little bit of chinese)and then Jay turn his head and looked at me!! Oh My God!! and when the meeting over.. staff told us to get down the stair..you are not allow to stay at here.. and there at down stair.. the dancers of Jay's concert!! so we ran and asked them to take a photo.. (i can speak chinese and Thai.. so the other fan asked me to translated)

after that.. i got out of the hotel becoz the staff said.. you will annoy the other customers.. well.. so i waited Jay (who going to go Siam at 4.30 to meet Fan) at the front of hotel door. but i didn't see him so i went to siam and just 10 minutes after!! there was Jay on the stage!! about 1000 ppl queued and waited to recieve Jay's signature. Jay was wearing a black t-hirt which has a lot of small red flower on it.. and the ping pants.. Hm.. look not very bad..

whoa... thanks for all the AWESOME, DETAILED reviews for those who attended the concert. :flowers: i can feel your excitement!! heehee... and i love how jay makes it so special for his fans wherever he goes. learned some cantonese for his hong kong fans, and now, some thai for his thai fans. he's so sweet and considerate, isn't he? and wowwy... changing outfits every 2 songs... that's a lot! so glad to hear that you guys had a fabulous time. and jay specially chose 5 songs to do on piano, songs that he hasn't done on piano live before. and changing the lyrics and stuff... awww... he really made it personal and intimate for you guys. heehee...

groovalicious, i think chun li meant that the shanghai fans were very conservative. so, they were pretty quiet whereas you guys were screaming loudly and cheering and dancing and singing along, etc. etc. :D

i think this trip to thailand was very special not only for you guys, but for jay himself as well. i'd bet he was so touched to see so many fans attend his concert and autograph session and press conference. his music has definitely made a difference despite the language barrier. music surpasses all boundaries and i think now, jay not only realizes the truth of it in his mind, but has also witnessed it for himself firsthand. :) you guys are wonderful for making this experience so memorable for jay. and i'm sure his concert has left you with many fond memories as well. ^0^ and omigosh, he sang Gui Ji?!?!?! :excited: i love that song. how i wish i'd hear him sing it live.

Got to the center point about 4.00, the line wasn't that bad, just the right time. stood there about an hour, while waiting, the big plasma screen on the building played Jay'z MVs. At 5.00, the session started, the big screen showed Jay, signing CD covers, wearing a black shirt with red designs of some sort. he is so HOT! Jay was ALWAYS smiling, looking down or up or shaking hands. You are also allowed to give him gifts too, so lucky me, i've bought loads of "Welcome to Bangkok" gifts and letters from my friends as a group and individual gifts too.
The people who were the first first onez GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND!! Friggin. Jealous me. By the time i got to the inner ring where Jay is sitting on the stage behind the table, my heart started to beat faster man. Everything went so friggin fast, very SYSTEMATIC. Jay must be very tired coz exactly 1,000 ppl will get his autograph.
The MCs were talking about the line situation on the outer ring, how the every single fan had the coupon to go in and when we get nearer to Jay, we need to pass the CD cover of Hidden Track to the staff. Then the female MC told us to say "Wo Ai Ni" and guess what. EVERYBODY did!! and we also said the second time, "Wo Ai Ni, Jay Chou". i think jay must be very pleased. After awhile, the MC told us that we may NOT touch his hand when we get on the stage, and everybody booed and groaned. :thumbsdo:
this girl two person in front of me reached to touch Jay's hand, and this security was being so mean about it. He pulled the girl's hand away and shooed her off stage. DUMASS :rasp:
Anwayz, i was thinking, man, i should do the same thing as the girl was doing, AT LEAST you get a piece of Jay. Also, i was planning to say "Jay, your arrival is my best christmas ever" in Chinese, which i praticed so well, last night but when i got on where Jay was at, it was JUST so fast. so i was like man, i need to do something to get his attention. It was EITHER touch Jay's hand WITHOUT him looking up OR say something so he WILL look up. so after this girl in front of me finished, Jay, who was looking down signing the cover, i said, "Zhou Jie Lun, Wo Ai Ni". Short and simple, something i've been waiting to say for a long time. haha.
***OMG and Jay, who UNEXPECTEDLY and SUPRISINGLY glanced up quickly and looked down again and said "Thanks", IN ENGLISH :) , and smiled, that SEXY smile  with a dimple on his left.   :) :excited: THAT TOTALLY MADE MY DAY man. I also gave him the gifts to the security next to him. I HOPE he opens it, man.
So after i met my friends (who got pushed to front line), i was so happy and hyper, we started to share our experiences. One of them told me that she said "Jay, your music is the best thing that happened to me", or something like that in mandarin, coz shez Singaporean. And she said that Jay looked up and her TWICE!! jealous jealous me. my friend said that she thinks that Jay is surprised to have someone say that in Mandarin coz the majority of people who went up first didn't say anything. My other friend, said that she got so nervous and and excited that she didn;t have the focusity to engage in Jay, instead she was looking at his hands that signed her CD!!!
So dam. This has to be one of my BEST BEST week ever. I got to see Jay for 4 days--consecutively. The airport, the press, interview, concert and the autograph session. although i didnt have a chance to meet and greet in person or touch him, but seeing him in real life is the most OUTSTANDING thing that has ever happened in my life.

Chun Li, I remember that I promised to write the concert review in Thailand but I guess I'm too late now. Everyone here described what happened in the concert so well .

Just to add a few points from my opinions:
1) The tickets sold was about 70% of the hall capacity. Standing zone in both A1 and A2 were left too empty, there's lot of space left for people to running around. Many farest seating blocks at lower price (THB 1,000/ seat) also left unsold. I feel Jay might feel a bit upset if he saw this clearly while the light was on .
2) Though it wasn't much crowded there, I guess participation level of fans was impressive to Jay. The girls after my row came in team. They sang along with Jay in nearly every song. They could do pretty well even in Chinese Rap Phases! Everyone seems to had a well preparation before hand. I really enjoyed screaming and waving my hands for Jay with all those Super Fanatic Fans. Even forgot that my age is so many years past teens . Feel like my energy and teens spirit were back with me for a while .
3) As the concert tone was very close to THE ONE in TAIWAN 2002, I didn't get much excitement from the gimmicks. It might be better to attend without watching THE ONE at first :hmm:.
4) Jay is quite slim and in-shape. Guess this is because he has so many things to do in a day thus his calories burning rate is high. His Aura as a Super Star shines so bright!!!

All in all, I'm so badly in love with this talented guy. Well done, my JAY

 Reading so much of the opinions of other Thai fans and I have to agree with all of them that it was worth loving Jay. He has such a great heart  . Though the stadium wasn't fully packed , not all the spaces was filled with people, but the crowd who were there really made the concert more special. The screaming was always heard , people always calling out Jay's name even when the concert was REALLY finish  We all and myself were trying to sing along to Jay's songs though we didn't even know that they were about or didn't even know how to pronounce them correctly. It was like trying to sing along to Michael Jackson's songs when you were small and didn't know what language he was singing in. Mumbling, humbling, lip singing, all kinds of ways to express our appreciation of Jay's concert. I even saw some of Thai's leading actors and actress sneaked into the concert with their cousins and family. :D

What touched me the most is that Jay, the superstar of Asia whose concert tickets always sold out in 1-2 days and always had concert jam pack with fans, but here in Thailand, only half a stadium was filled, but he didn't show any sign of disappointment. He performed to the fans with enthusiasm and spirit as if he was performing infront of a sold out concert. I'm sure there are many Thai fans who couldn't come to the concert because 1.they live too far away 2. Thai schools usually have mid term exams at this time so their parents don't let them out 3. They could not afford the tickets and so much more reasons.

I have to say that Jay is the first ever Asain artist who had such a great and complete concert here in Thailand. Even Seven or Baby V.O.X., the popular singers from Korea only had a small show case in Thailand. 5,000-6,000 fans to see a singer from Taiwan is consider such a great number of people already. Even some Thai singers don't have that much fans who would willing to buy such a pricy price to go to the concert.

The two hours concert felt like half and hour concert to me. REALLY. When he was saying goodbye, I was like  . I thought it was only half an hour, but when I looked at the watch, 2 hours had gone already. After seeing Jay in concert made me love Jay even more

By the way, he was soooooooo cute yesterdat at autograph session. SO SO CUTE. I was in a hurry to go to this autograph session that I bought a wrong card. I bought a card saying "You are my idol" on the cover  , but when I was in a queue about to write a message inside the card, I saw a BIG word " MOM" on it  . I was quite pist because I really like the message of the card, but I just in a hurry that I didn't see the word MOM on the top of You are my idol. So I just gave him a small key ring of a gigger bread man ( in silver) with a heart shape hole on his chest instead

My heart was beating so fast when I was going up te stage to get his autograph ( They had a stage up so that people can see JAy from far away. I quickly gave him the key ring. After he signed the cover of my Hidden Track CD, he looked up and smiled ( he did this to EVERY fan and there were about 1,000 people ) So I automatically reached out my hand to him , and he gently shook it :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited:
I was SOOOOOOO HAPPPY.

I looking forward to seeing Jay performing on stage and a stadium fulled with screaming fans next year.

I was there at the autograph session yesterday too. I was in the first row, so I didn't know that after a while people in the back are not allowed to touch jay. That's sad. Cuz I'm sure that Thai fans just wanted to touch him not grab him. No one wants to hurt him. But I guess the staffs just want to make the session quicker and quicker since jay had to sign an autograph for 1000 people.
Well, my experience with this autograph session was really nice.
I told him "I'm so impressed with your concert yesterday" in chinese (I practiced it all day) and jay said "Khob khun kub" (thank you) right after my words (while he's also signing his autograph on my cd cover)
I'm not sure if he said khob khun kub because he heard what I said or he was just so polite and kind, because he also said kob khun kub to the girls infront of me when they gave him a gift too.
Anyway, he was so charming and polite. Oh he also gently shook my hand (with his left hand because he hold his pen on his right hand) His hand was sooooo soft.
That's one of the most memorable moment in my life. And I hope others also have this moment with jay too.

Yeah! yesterday, i went to Siam(center point) too.. Jay was really sweet, although it was just almost two hours for him to sign his autographs to each fans but it's really worth waiting. Some of the fans waited for him since 12-1pm. But he signed his autographs so fast so it took just only one-two hours before he left.

Before going to Siam, I went to Dusit-Thani hotel. But i had no chance for meeting him personally like those who were in the activity called "z close to Jay Chou" I was disappointed a little.

Actually, yesterday at my school, there was a christmas party so my school was over earlier than other schools (12.00) and luckily, my school is not very far from the Dusit-Thani(just 10 mins. to walk) so I went there with my 2 friends hoping that I would see him. So I went there at about 1-2pm i don't remember(sorry). And then I got on the elevator and in the next 5 minutes, i heard a crowd saying 'it's jay, it's jay' and everybody was running quickly(including me) at first, i just thought that maybe it wasn't jay but hell, there I saw him with my own eyes and just can't believe that it was jay bcuz the crowd was small (too small, normally there was more than this). Jay was waving for us but walked quickly to one of the hotel's room called "saladaeng room" which is for fans who came for an activity with Jay. I waited for my friends(who joined this activity) for a long time. During waiting, one of the staffs who was about to go to that Saladaeng room by an elevator(i think there was a secret way going to that room) looked at me and i think he felt sorry for me(when he looked at my face heheh) so he gave me his staff card (from the concert the day before) and said that it was a gift. Well, maybe it's useless but at least I'm glad to have it. And then my two friends who came with me left the hotel.

For about an hour later after jay arrived, my friend who joined the activity called me and told me that she was one of the five lucky winners to take a picture with Jay. I was so exited for her. But when the activity was over, I and the other 2 friends who were in the activity waited for Jay until 4.30pm

4.30pm was the time for fans at siam. unfortunately jay was still at the hotel! after the activity, jay has an interview with 2 more shows called "Oxygen" and a show from channel [v]. But we decided to leave the hotel bcuz we thought that we wouldn't see jay. So we left, but we took pictures with jay's dancers a lot. They were really friendly and give jay's fans emails and stuff, very nice to jay's fans. They also said that they will go to Suan-lum night bazaar <----it's a place where jay had been every night(there are lots of things, it's like a place for shopping) and then my friends who speak Chinese fluently told them how to get there and told them where to find taxis(she said that the better way is to tell the hotel to find a taxi for them) bcuz in front of the Dusit-thani is very hard to find a taxi. And then we left the hotel.

While we were on our way to siam, some of the fans who were still at the hotel called us and told us that jay had just left the hotel. And they had a chance to take pictures of jay CLOSELY. so we were so jealous!!hehehe...

When we arrived at siam, we saw LOTS OF PEOPLE coming for jay's autograph. Each fan would get on the stage(including me!) and had a chance to give gifts for him and shake his hand. He was so very nice and sweet. He smiled to every fans and said 'kobkhunkub' i gave some flowers for him and he looked at me and my flowers but it was just a very short time he thanked me and then i walked off the stage.

Well, it was just a short time for me to look at him that close...but yea! i would have to say that i'm so happy....

(sorry, if my english is bad).....

After the autograph session Jay went back with a van, and I was walking along the pavement , and saw many girls ( most of them are in school uniforms ) were running, and screaming after his van. I could see, but not clearly that Jay or someone inside the van was filming from inside, and Jay was still waving good bye :) His van was lead by a police motocycle. Seem we all very protective of him:)

By the way, I forgot to tell you guys that Jay s pic was on the cover of almost every Thai newspaper on his arrival day:) Jay is gaining a popularity here , BIG TIME.

I never knew that Jay still has that much energy left to go to Suam Lum Night Bazar every night. If I knew That I would b there too. :bleh: I have heard that Jay will be off to Samui Island for a break today, right?? Anyone knew this?? Is it true??

Though only 70% tickets were sold, but this live get success. Not much Thai people listen to chinese music ( at least me who listen only Jay and never pay my money for any concert, only coz I know it 's worth for my money). I belive Jay are impressed with Thai fans 's participation. They can sang along throughout the concert. That hall can accommodate up to 9,000 people. At least 3-4,000 people join, i think it is a good number. I saw 1,000 THB zone are desperately empty, but 2,000THB zone are nearly full, but it 's standing zone. One thing I was very disappointed is my seat. I anticipate to get a good seat, so I managed to buy ticket(2,000THB) from someone in BMG who directly book with SONY. Then I collect ticket one day before the concert. I just realized I was seated in the seated zone (higher levet), but I want standign ticket..Before getting the ticket, I talked with MAXIMAGE ( the concert organizer) about my seat booked through SONY. She said this lot were VIP..so I assumed the seats have to be be close to JAY...DAMN I was in the higher level, not in the T Zone..

At autograph session, I sneak out from my office early (not forget to tell my boss...she may think am mad already) and got there about 3.30pm.. Jay 's so polite and nice to everyone...he signed all 1,000 cd copy. I got on stage about 6.00pm..oh I felt my back and legs are wrecked - I gave chiense- Thai calendar (a kind of torn-out by day) guess it may be very unique and catch his attention..Once I got on stage, I felt more excited and forgot everything that I wanna say. When I standed in from of him, I just look at his face (look so good and want to get him back my home for several nights). I waited for him to reach out his hand..such a big moment for me  I touched his hand..so soft.. :excited: I felt so sorry that I didn't smile at him that moment..am so excited and try to control myself (before get mad and scream out wildly) I know my smiless face are so means  people who lined up in tail won't allow to shake hi hand cuz they want to shorten the time..My friend said to him " you are so great and cool" in chinese - at Jay gave her a galnce and replied back " Kob Khun krab" thank you in Thai .. I felt so jealous

thanks for posting the pics, xiaof.

i know the no. of ppl in this concert is smaller compare to other countries.
there were little special effects. the stage was small.
some ppl said it should be better (the effects, the stage,)
for me i understand and i dont think it's bad or anything.
having jay performing here is an unexpected thing already.
not to mention how i felt when i saw him close at the hotel.
( to chun li, i should have one forth of your courage and go ask jay for a photo. stupid me  i was so stunned when i saw him unexpectedly at his hotel and there's no other fans. only me. jay was with his blond hair dancer. i was close enough to see both of them looking at me and hear talking in chinese but i just couldnt understand what they say. stupid me again  i stand near jay until he got into a van then i waved byebye and left. gosh...... i should have asked for a photo or signature or sth.  )

the staff told me jay said he's really impressed about his thai fans. in concert we all screamed so loud, waving hand and glowsticks, dancing, and singing along some songs we can for all times. very good spirit. he said the scream even louder than guangzhou although more ppl in that concert but they sat quietly.

when i knew jay said this to the staff i almost cry
i'm so prounded that now my voice gone since it had left jay an impression of thai fans.

i love him even more after the concert
every fans were mesmerized by jay while he played the piano.

hope he will come here again
and hope he's having a great holidays somewhere in thailand too.

SEE?!?!?!?! Fewer people but the atmosphere was much better! BAH!
I'm never going to a concert in China again, ever, ever, ever!!!!!

You guys are so lucky! I loved every minute of the concert in Shanghai but the fans ruined it for me! Only me and some others in the very front were crazy loud! that's it! And it's not loud enough considering that the stadium was so huge to fit 80,000 people. All our screaming in the front rows must have sounded like a whisper to Jay. Sigh.

whoa, u thai fans are great! really, i understand, thailand has never been that acceptive of foreign artistes especially chinese singers in the past, but i m really surprise that jay has sort of broke that barrier, though the seats werent full.....but its ok, i guess, jay understands, i mean we cant compare his fan base with china and taiwan coz these places speak the same language, though music is not bonded by language but it does affect a liitle, seeing jay with all the enthusiastic fans of thai,i m really happy already. well, i guess those who went to the concert are lucky coz everything seem to be a smaller scale unlike shanghai where we are talking bout 80 000 audiences, its difficult to even be near him, but in bangkok's concert, everybody can feel him nearer and get to speak to him even, awww......i still wonder how jay really look from upclose.......anyway, i think jay really is impressed by those fans who turn up, he probably never thought that a country like thailand......where chinese songs are merely very unpopular, allows his music to prevail. whats great is that his arrival appears in the newspaper......thats great, it means that his presence does catch lots of attention.

Why is Chinese music unpopular there?

12-26-2003, 09:34 AM
mmmm music is universal language... me in indonesia here love his music too. jay is not unpopular there....he just need more time to make him the best ever chinese singer in thailand/bangkok or everywhere. includes indonesia. even f4 still the winner...but we all know...jay is the best from da best. :p im not saying f4 is bad....i just say that jay is better in singing. at least he is the best for me.... the besr i ever had....

The reason why Chinese music is not that popular in Thailand maybe because most of Thai-Chinese people do not speak Mandarin. Well, I don't have any Thai blood in me since all my grandparents are from China but I sort of consider myself as Thai. Let's just say I can be any nationality where my grendparents' boat sailed to  As the 3rd generation in Thailand, I can barely speak my own Chinese dialect  We watched all Asian series (Hong Kong, Korea, Japanese etc.) in which all of that are dubbed in Thai language. Before F4 and Jay, it's very very difficult to find modern Chinese music in a normal music store. Well, you have to give credit to F4 to be the first group who officially broke the language barrier starting from the "Liu Xing Hua Yuan". I started to learn Mandarin with my Malaysian friend and he just recommended me to listen to Jay. I just fell into his songs right away. His songs can really break the boundary because even my friend who doesn't know a word of Chinese besides the most famous sentence "Wo Ai Ni" also adores Jay.

A little recap of the concert:
We felt a little bit worried to see half empty stadium that it could disappoint Jay. We were screaming like crazy like we could substitute the empty seats behind us :D and Jay didn't disappoint us. His voice is like magic and his concert is like a dream comes true

I also translated a short interview that was done by www.pop.co.th at a press conference on 22 Dec at The Emporium. Sorry if the translation isn't good enough as I'm not very good at translating.

POP: How is the trip to Thailand so far?? Are Thai fans different from Taiwanese fans?
JAY: Yes, I think they are different. I am more excited here as there are so many fans who come to see me. ( fans screanming ) :D

POP: As you are Taiwanese, do you think there will be any communication problem between you and Thai fans?
JAY:I don't think so because music is a universal language so I think Thai people will be able to enjoy my music. ( Jay smiling)

POP:Do you have anything special for Thai fans in your concert?
JAY: As everyone knows that I usually play piano in the concert, but this time I will do it differently. I will show 5 songs on piano, which I had never done anywhere before and Thai fans will sure to dance along.

POP: Your mom is also here in Thailand. Will we be able to meet her?
JAY:I think my mom will be in the concert also.

POP: As you are a teen idol. Is there anything in particular that you want to say to Thai fans( mostly teenagers)
JAY: I also consider myself as a younster . I don't drink and I don't smoke, which I think is one of my good points, so I want Thai teens to be just like me also.

POP: Final, and most awaited question " Do you have a girlfriend?"
JAY: Not yet. Ammmm..... ( thinking) I'm still looking... Coming to Thailand this time, I have met many beautiful and cute Thai girls. Not sure yet, I might find one here.( Fans screaming, raising their hands up high ) :excited:

i noticed that jay forgot the lyrics again
that's normal, right?
and i know jay changed some parts of "i believe" lyrics to be sth about his visit to thailand. sorry i cant remeber exact word.

jay is so considerate like someone said earlier
he always make his fans happy wherever he goes.

in concert, many fans wore santa hat with little red light on it to celebrate chrismas for jay as well. the most outstanding group was one that danced at the back of 2000 baht standing area. at fist everyone stand near the stage making the empthy space look grater. later on this group moved from the front to the back to filled up the space and dance. they wore santa hat, wave hands and glowsticks, hold a bruch of pink roses and other chrismas and new year accessories which i dont know how to call in english. i really like what they did and i remember that s'one here said jay will pick up flowers and hold it for a while so i went to tell the one hold flowers to go in front and give it to jay. she did as i told and Jay really picked up her roses. he hold it for one song.

be continued tonight

Oh! Yeah I remembered that jay said something about Thailand too, which I dont remember what he said (i'll ask my sister again), I heard he said something like .......~~!!@##$ and then I heard the word 'Tai Guo'...

And Yes, jay went to meet and greet with his fans, I'm not sure about if he had it on Dec25 too But I'm sure about on Dec24

I think the reason that Chinese music isn't so popular in Thailand is because most of Thai teenagers are up to Thai and English-language music. They listen to what they understand the meanings. But I would have to say that Thai teenagers are more open with other languages music now, for example, they listen to Jay, f4, wangleehom (i dont know about this one, i just listen to jay), se7en(from Korea) etc. And now chinese mandarin is the most popular for teenagers to learn as their third language. Some of them try to practice chinese everyday for communicating (with their fave artists)

I heard that Jay will be leaving Thailand on Dec29, TG 636. (18.00) And I heard that he and his mother will go to Koh Samui before leaving but this is just a rumor,I'm still not sure about this one too. Well, I'm glad about what I heard. I hope he's happy while he's in Thailand.

Yap its really a NORMAL thing for Jay to forget his lyrics during his concert! Thats what he admit too, especially those songs that are written by Vincent Fang, they are just too difficult to be memorise! But since Jay mumbles so much I dun really catch that he forget his lyrics and somethings Jay changes the lyrics deliberately so that it brings new meanings to the song.

It must be a beautiful scene to see those beautiful red lights shimmering in the concert!! The fans are really sporty bringing Christmas to Jay's concert!!

i saw him the night before concert jay went out by van for shopping at Suan-Lum night bazar. he wore black hat, grey t-shirt, long pants and sport shoes. i know from staff that later went to Sa-Phan-Put by Tuk Tuk (small three wheel car without air condition) the staff was like :? r u sure, jay ? he said yes.

i also heard that jay has back problem again while he's here in bkk but he chose to take medicine and go on with his tight schedule.

I think he will come back. As far as I knew he 's quite impressed with feedback from Thai fans. It 's just more than he expected. The first time was March 02 (not sure for month) to shot his "the last battle" MV and the second times was Sep (3-4 months before the concert) to shot Pepsi commercial. I heard from a freind that Jay were in Bangkok and stay at Regent. I desperately got this news confirmed (cuz did not know spelling of his name) until last day. At this time, I asked the staff at Regent (quite senior though) to get Jay 's autograph on my cd (luckily I had one in my office). Unfortunately, he left his room straightforward to car, not even stop by lobby where the lady waited for him. :glug:

His presence in Thailand and live concert just like my dream came true. Before this concert, I planned to go to Taiwan to see his big concert.. then he came to Thailand!!! My freind suggested me to mail a thank you letter to Alfa to show them how much we appreciate their effort bringing Jay concert to Thailand  (at least they may consider to revisit) and give credit to Maximage who initiate this program :thanks: ). After the concert, I even more love Jay and repeatedly play his CD even more often  ..cuz I still miss our fun time in the concert and autograph session. I will do so, let everyone do the same..show them how we feel toward the concert.. your words may releive Jay disappointment in half empty of the hall. :yeah: I like the staffs at both press conference and concert who are always nice..at airport the staffs also told me hotel Jay stay :secret: and all info such how jay gotta came out form airport and got in the car and where were his car..so we coudl chase him :gun:

I want to see him off at airport too, but have to work....

ah crap...forgot to surf in this forum for a long time..so now im gona clear up lotz of enquiries made up here...
first..jay did not sing "shi jie mo ri" in the concert..
well..luckily and SURPRISINGLY-- i got some type of "connection" to get into the arena b4 the concert to see jay practice *SCREAMMM!!* my aunt told me that she was gona take me in there since the start cuz i went to greet her with a "wai" and went bak in line again but then she couldnt find me cuz i was sitting down in the line...i missed the time he practiced on the piano..but gotta catch his dance moves with all his dancers..i didnt know what to do man..my legs were stiff..and i stood there..cannot do anithing..i stood there so still that all the mosquitos bit me so bad!..that i came out of the arena it was all itchy over my arms and got lotz of red bumps lolz!..aniwae..my aunt told me that if jay was finished with his rehearsal, she'll take me to take pix with him (obviously she's the friend of maximage's owner)..i was gasping lolz..but darn darn darn!...guess what?..when jay finished his practice, it was the same time my aunt was talkin' with jay's translator..so i missed him!..when i went walking after my aunt to go see him..he was already in the elevator..the door was closing (sounds like a movie yah?)..*damn* ..but itz okie lah..it was a great oppurtunity enuff to actually get this privlege haha...the bass was so loud cuz it was empty that inside my body was beating..jay was singing..dancing with the dancers..the coreographer teach him dance moves.....WOW :D
heard that they invested 20 million baht..but ppl bought so lil tix!..that they got no profit..actually lose lotz of money..the amount of tix sold was like less half of their aim..
first..i was kinda shocked when my cousin told me about this..and when i was waiting in the arena..(cuz i was near the stage) while waiting..there were so lil ppl!..the 2000 tix place at the back was empty..the seats n'stuff..i dont think there's "almost lotz of ppl to fill the arena"..no..itz like..less than half man..but who the heck cares?! jay did his best and he doesnt care about this fact that he performed so great everyone screamed till everyone's ears were clogged..got sore throat when going bak home till the next morning..the atmosphere was great...big but cozy..haha..
i think the point that ppl didnt come to this concert were..the tix were too expensive (imagine..jay's tix were more expensive than Korn's) and itz the exam period...so the good lil students stay at their home and study (lolz...just jokin around alrite..no offense)
it was kinda funny when he was playing silent nite..and me and my friend were screaming hella loud the lyrics to it "HOLY~~ INFANT SO TENDER AND MILD"...lolz!..everyone was lookin' at us..i was kinda glad that i used my time to memorize the lyrics for "gui ji" cuz the part where i'm standing the whole section..almost no one can sing the song..so i was screaming like a loco-crazy lady..everyone stared at me...haha!..
eventho itz pretty much the same with "The One" concert series (that's why the tix had the same pix on it) with a lil add-ons..but itz totally worth it..all the money..all the time i spent on line since 1pm and how the venue is darn far from my house..the effort to get thru the chaos of the line while trying to enter the gate..
from my point..eventho the effects of the stage was not as great as other countries..and everyone said it should be better..but c'mon..from seeing other concerts played in thailand, this is like a great effect...thailand dont haf enuff equipment and stuff to prepare fab concerts like in HK..so i think maximage tried their best to make the concert look great and can be compared to other countries where jay played..
Jay made ppl who dont like chinese song to actually LIKE it..eventho they dont understand what he's saying..but the language doesnt matter aite?..
aniwae...OF COURSE JAY WILL COME BAK!..his fir

st time i think when he went to film "Last Battle" MV @ karnchanaburi..which the main actress role was my friend in my class..i think that's the first time i knew jay chou b4 some other thai ppl..*yah..when BMG didnt start promoting his album yet when F4 came..* the second time he came i think was for vacation..i think jay came here lotz of times for his vacation and just to stroll along bangkok and other provinces freely..(cuz no one's chasing him not like some other stars)..to shop..eat do all the stuff..i think he was very impressed with how we act and how we showed the spirit n'stuff..he didnt appear in public cuz there's no program for him to do promotions..he DID appear in public..like walk around bangkok..itz supposed to be his "private" trip i guess..so....yeah~
WHY CHINESE MUSIC AINT POPULAR IN THAILAND?
well..yalor..thai ppl dont speak mandarin..well..if u're talkin about thai ppl who got chinese blood..itz actually the chinese ppl who speak teochew..all of them...they sailed to thailand a long long time ago..so different..(but it doesnt reallie matter cuz by this generation, we dont know how to speak teochew animore..only our parents and up) b4, chinese music are popular among this tite minor group of fans..which mostly are from the HK side..but some from Taiwan n'stuff too..but when F4 started to come out and there's this hugggggggeeeeeeeee hit *boom!*..BMG started to promote jay's album 8D (which was a year old by that time) and the ppl started to surf on internet and knew more about other chinese stars..but still itz not widespread..western and thai music are more dominant..which i hope chinese music will become a more greater influence here (actually any east asian music) cuz there's lotz of great quality songs...also itz just that the record lables are not bringing out the artists to promote *sad* but itz gettin' better very slowly..and now lotz of thai ppl are trying to learn mandarin cuz for their love of chinese stars!..mags about chinese stars came out..also korean too..because b4 japanese was more popular..also some ppl just diss off this whole chinese thing basically cuz they couldnt comprehend and understand
btw..the security n' police @ the concert were darn strict they kep hafin their flashlights and flash down on ppl who haf cameras..a lot of ppl luckily got a chance to bring them inside but TONZ of ppl got snatched it away by the security..gotta wait outside on a line to get it bak from the guards!..STUPIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :-x
erh.....aniwae..i think i just typed a lil bit TOO much....
peace out..keep on the chattin' THAI PEOPLE>>DONT BE SHY!..come out and chat with us..! it doesnt matter if u're not good @ english or anithing~ :yeah:

oh funny jay was doing this during nunchucks :nunchuks: ..well...minus the scary face..hehe
AND ALSO...WHY THE HECK SOME PEOPLE WERE THROWING GLOW STICKS @ JAY?..did you know it almost hit his face?..it went passed his face like few inches..there were like 5+ that got thrown..one hit his leg man..and the others missed..the nurse dancer got hit too... :hmm: bad bad bad...- -''
BUT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY A GREAT CONCERT!..worth money!!!!! yahoo~!
next time come to thailand lah..dont hafta go all the way to china..keke :bleh:
Kawaiino...where how can they bring the cameras inside?..we call it sneaking it in *wink wink* :wink2:

haterpunk, you guys are lucky Jay clicked with the Thai fans. Because of the F4 phenomena hitting our shores, producers tried to get Jay across our radio stations but failed miserably  Jolin gets some ariwaves while Jay does not (this surprised me a lot) I was a big Jay fan before producers release YHM here, out of extreme excitement that finally he'll be known, I've promoted him everywhere. People appreciated his music but just don't dig it because of the language barrier. I was dreaming after YHM's release here that maybe he'll be famous here too and he'll have a concert here (just like F4 who've been here 3 times already!). But I supposed I'd have to cross seas to see him live. There only a few of us here, but we're spreading the Jay love as much as we can.

You guys are so lucky! Thailand was so near here. if only I'd saved up some money.

Anyway, how much was the tickets in US $?

Well, not to offend you or anything but Jay did sing "Shi Jie Mo Ri". I still can recall when he sang "Tian Hui Hui, Hui Bu Hui, Rang Wo Wang Le Ni Shi Shei..." but I just can't remember that he sang "Fen Lie" or not. I still feel overwhelming by his concert. Every minute in his concert just flew by so fast.

Just keep my fingers crossed that he won't forget to add Bangkok in his new world tour. I'm sure this time the stadium will be packed :yeah:

i know this is a bit late  , but...wasnt the concert juz the greatest?!?!?! :excited:

At first i went with my friend to pick Jay up at the airport and we met some people there so we all stuck together and go everywhere together.
I was actually in the picture on the front page of the Dailynews newspaper which they took of the fans waiting at the airport!!! :excited: .. how cool is that?!?! (We actually ran 7 times back and forth between terminal 1 building and the VIP building...its really really far...altogether more than 2 kilometres of running that day...everyone told us that Jay was coming out of the VIP building but we didnt belive them so eventually they told us the licence plate and the description of the car Jay was gonna be in) Then me, my friend and the other people we met got into a taxi and went to Dusit Thani to meet Jay there. We told the old taxi driver to drive really fast and wow!! he drove rally fast!! When our taxi got there, Jay's van had juz reached the hotel and Jay was juz about to get out. Everyone ran out of the taxi and i was left having to pay the taxi driver, but i juz threw the money to him and told him to keep the change coz i wanted to hurry to get to the door of the hotel. Everyone waited for Jay infront of the elevator and then suddenly everyone was screaming...I looked around for Jay but couldnt find him and when i turned to my left...he was standing right next to me...OMG OMG :excited: I didnt know wat to do so i juz stood there and i couldnt believe how good he actually lookes in real life!!! OMG!!! :excited:
The staff kept telling us t be quiet but i didnt care so i screamed "wo hen ai ni Jay" (thats like the few phrases i know in chinese) and he actually turned around and smiled at me!!! Then Jay got into the elevator and waved at everyone... He has a dimple on his cheek...so cute... Then me , my friend and the people we met at the airport stuck around for a while and welcomed Jay's dancers i dont know how to speak chinese so i juz said like.. "ni hao" and "welcome to thailand"
The hotel staff told the fans to go outside so most of them went home. But we stayed and went around looking at Jays car. The staff came and talked to us and they let us into Jay's car and sit in his seat!!! Then they let us look at the magazine which Jay brought with him (it was a pic of Jay on the cover but it was in chinese..)We all took photos of the car , the magazine and everything..then two other people came and looked at his car but the staff didnt let them go in and didnt show them Jay's magazine..HA! :bleh: Then we talked to the staff and thanked them, then we went home.

The next day me and my friend went to Emporium to see Jay and we met up with the people we met from the airport. Then one person waited for Jay at the hotel and phoned us and told us that Jay had juz left the hotel and that he was wearing a blue t-shirt...He finallly came and we all screamed eventhough noone could actually see anything coz the damn reporters we all standing on the chairs  ...I asked the guard to take some photos for me and i climbed onto the railings coz i couldnt see much. Then we actually met the staff that we had talked to the night before and he remembered us..!!

then....

oh nevermind.... i guess u dont wanna know about all that ...

but the concert was so cool...OMG OMG jay was so cool  he looked so much better in real life and he actually took the sign that me and my friend made...OMG OMG... :excited:

Then on the 24th i went to Jays autograph session and i touched his hand..ok.. i held it....uh..actually i kinda held it and gently squeezed it for a really long time........
umm...where was i ...oh!! yeah!! i got his autograph and me and 2 other people which i met at the airport shouted "merry christmas" together ..But i shouted "merry christams JAY" so the JAY part was like really loud and he looked up and smile

at ME!!!!!!! OMG OMG and his hand was really really soft...

okay okay...u probably wouldnt wanna know but...I'm juz so excited and wanna share it with u guys eventhough i met him for 4 days like most people....:bye:
I could actually tell u all about in detail but u guys probably wouldnt wanna know  (even though its super exciting!!! :yeah: )

so nevermind....anyways...I had so much fun at the concert and i'm still excited about Jay eventhough i met him many days ago..... :excited:

If u wanna hear the complete version of the story then tell me coz i'm dying to tell u guys!!!

uh...bye for now...

*GASP*.......yeah..i heard about how darn expensive were the tix..like 20,000 pesos or somethin'..i didnt actually calculated it in US$..but now that i know...whoa...i heard some ppl who bought the cheap tix gotta go outside the venue..and wouldnt be able to get in...
but i was kinda surprised for some reason that the fans didnt go fetch 'em at the airport..maybe cuz they know they'll be entering the VIP yah?

oh..no..kok on my head...i got switched with another song...sorrie for the mistake...hohoho :glug:

kawaiino...itz just that i haf no idea about the on air stuffs on jay's :?
itz kinda funny how i gotta help this gurl to take pix of jay..like watch out for the guards...or get outta way for her to take the pix..but itz just a "helping" stuff..we are friendly ppl....hahahhaha! :yeah: (but reallie cant compare to the chaos that happened while everyone was trying to get in the gate.....all the pushin' and shovin'..which sucks cuz the security didnt managed this well enuff..the purpose of the line ppl sittin' since the morning was no use... :-x )

i saw him the night before concert jay went out by van for shopping at Suan-Lum night bazar. he wore black hat, grey t-shirt, long pants and sport shoes. i know from staff that later went to Sa-Phan-Put by Tuk Tuk (small three wheel car without air condition) the staff was like :? r u sure, jay ? he said yes.

i also heard that jay has back problem again while he's here in bkk but he chose to take medicine and go on with his tight schedule.

OMG, you are so lucky!~! I wish i could see him too! were there alot of security? Did you see his mom???!?!

there were two guards but stand quite far from me and jay ( i was much closer to jay than guards. :bleh: ) and yes i saw his mom but not on the same day i met jay. i saw her at the hotel and took a photo with her on the first day jay came to thailand. she's nice and friendly.

Hi  ,
I'm the one who went to see his concert. I was first quite surprised to know that we, Thai fans, would have a chance to watch Jay's concert here in BKK. Anyway, i decided to buy the ticket without being hesitation.

The concert was superb! I do luv it. It is very impressive for me. It's more than i ccould explain. Like everyone said, Jay is a great performer!! We were all stunned by his performance. What i like most is when he added Thai words into his songs :-) So Nice!!!

Anyway, confirm that he sang "shi jie mo ri"

I wish he would be back here again. :D

*sigh* I read ALL 9 pages of the Thai fans account of the concert and autograph signing sessions and press conferences...I just love reading about fan experiences. I wish I was there! Just gotta say love Jay More now!

The Thai fans seem so warm to Jay and Jay loved it from what I can tell. He seemed very reactive to the friendly and enthusiastic welcome the Thai fans gave him. I'm sure he was touched. And you guys got to be so close to Jay! It didn't matter if the concert wasn't sold out, the fans enthusiasm was enough to fill the concert hall. Also it seemed like a more personal thing, you guys got to be so close to JAY! Keep on posting your experiences here fans who went to Bangkok concert!

Hi, just joined this forum and never done anything like this before so please bear with me. I just wanted to share my recent Jay experience with you all. Sorry it's late, I did post earlier but got an error message so I had to write it all down. Here goes....

I flew out especially to Bk for the concert & arrived at the arena early to pick up the tickets. I dragged my friend along and we found a shuttle bus to take us to the arena and when we finally made it through the notorious BK traffic, we got dropped off in the wrong area and had to frantically search around for the stadium. Then we had to look for the ticket office which was hidden by a line of fans screaming every now & again. I think this was the queue to get into the standing area. I was so relieved to finally hold the tickets in my hands and guarded them with my life. There were posters all around and I got my friend to help me to get one & we quickly walked off! We wondered around the stalls & I bought the new mv/cd & asked about the signing. We made our way to the arena & were searched for cameras. I couldn't believe they wouldn't let us take any in... I was fuming! So we walked away, hid the cameras & tried again. I was determined to sneak them in, I didn't come all that way to be told no pics! My friend wrapped her camera in a top she was wearing & the guard took it out at which point I was getting slightly annoyed & said it was just a jacket so they let us thru, but not before they gave me a quick body search, phew!! that was too close!

We got to our seats & scouted the arena which was quite empty. The concert was half an hr late & still the seats were empty which was a bit strange as on the net they were all booked up, but probably by people wanting to make some money out of it 'cos I remember someone offering me a ticket outside, I was still holding the tickets then and thought he might want to steal them or something! When the concert was about to begin we moved down to the empty seats & got a bit closer to the action. The concert opened with the YFZM video & built up the anticipation for when Jay appeared. The Thai fans were great & I also screamed my head off which I'm not known to do (I'm one of Jay's more mature, ok then, older admirers!) & gave him all my support. I just hope he wasn't disappointed about the turnout - nnaahh..........we certainly made up for everyone else!!! Jay perfomed really well, although the sound system wasn't very good, at the start he had to keep holding the headset mike closer to his mouth so we could hear him. At one point, I didn't recognise his voice & thought he had a cold or something.

He didn't come out the the T-stage much, maybe he was a bit daunted by the fans, but when he did, he picked up some of the gifts which was nice. He showed off his bball skills & threw the ball out during the performance, but surprisingly & amusingly it came back! I would have held on for dear life had it come anywhere near me!! I'm not sure if the fans were just being polite or they wanted him to perform some more bball skills which he promptly did & threw it out again, but this time it didn't come back (bet Jay was relieved!). Jay also threw the ping pong bat he was using while performing san nian er ban & thankfully that wasn't thrown back!!

I won't describe the concert as quite honestly the time just flew by & it was all a bit of a blur!! We took a few sneaky pics and luckily nobody told us to get out or confiscated our cameras (I'm sure they noticed the flashing lights everynow and again from our seats & I was waving a glow stick around in front, just in case!), I don't think they will be very good, but the important thing is we were there. Before we knew it, it was over. I didn't want to leave so we stayed a little longer to make sure he didn't suddenly pop up somewhere!

Outside, we saw some girls tak
ing down the banners on the wall & the really huge one on the pillar which was really hard work! Down at the entrance, all the walls were stripped bare & only the cd stall was left, so I decided to swap one of my posters 'cos I had a duplicate copy, but they didn't have the one I wanted so the guy kindly took it off the display for me. I was so grateful to him. In the end, they auctioned off a YHM poster, but I'm not sure how much that went for. I left after that.....finally, but wait, that's not the end of my Jay adventure yet (groan!!), there's still the signing!!! So, for those of you still with me (well done, congrats!), here's what happened......

I got to the signing around 1pm expecting there to be a big crowd of people but I was surprised there wasn't. I was undecided on whether to stay or not & didn't want to risk coming back to a huge queue so I decided to swelter in the sun for a few hours, after all it was an opportunity I definitely didn't want to miss - I might never get the chance again. About an hr before the signing, people were allowed to start queueing behind the barriers & I had no idea what was going on, but luckily I wasn't too far back in the line. Everyone was really patient & 2 big tv's were set up showing his mvs. We waited an extra half an hr for Jay & when he was about to arrive, they broadcast live pic's of the road outside which was lined full of people. It was funny 'cos everytime a car arrived & opened there was screaming but no Jay! Everyone was desperately awaiting his arrival & when he eventually arrived, he greeted everyone & presented a big banner to the fan who had waited since 9am.

It wasn't long before it was my turn to go up on stage to meet Jay, yeehy! I was actually quite calm, at least I wasn't hyper-ventilating!! I had written my name down for him to sign, but he didn't have time which is understandable. I vaguely remember saying 'hi J' when I met him & slid him the piece of paper with my name on it but by that time he'd already signed the cover - hummph!! My brain was on autopilot & seemed to be functioning as I somehow stuck out my hand & he shook it & looked up at me....aaahhhh, so lovely!! I can rest in peace now!!! Then it was over, back to my normal existence, back to reality. I'm so grateful I got the chance to meet him & see him up so close. I never ever thought I would have this opportunity - I got more out of this trip than I could have ever wished for.

After I left the stage, I went back to the front & took the place of my friend who was standing on a bench near the front taking photos for me. I stood there till the end so i've probably been exposed on Thai tv! Please let me know if the signing was aired in Thailand, my mug should be among the crowd somewhere!! Anyway, there were still so many people, the line just didn't seem to end, poor Jay....he stayed for an hr & a half until ALL fans got his autograph & no one left disappointed. They did rush it thru quite quickly towards the end & didn't allow people to shake his hand which was a real shame. Before he left, he wished everyone a merry xmas & a happy new year (or was that at the beginning, can't remember, but that's the most English I've ever heard him speak, hee!!) & answered a few questions & then that was it....gone. The end of my Jay adventure (you can all breathe a sigh of relief now!!) Even though my encounter was v.v short, it was so sweet & I'll never forget it....xie, xie Jay. I hope he gets a well earned rest now.

Sorry for going on so long, I'm not the kind of person to do this kind of thing so it all had to come out (no one else will listen!) I could go on forever, so feel free to contact me if anyone wants to know anything else.

Thanks to everyone for sharing. I wish you all a very peaceful, happy New Year.

p.s. the 1st thing I did when I got back to the hotel was put the cd in the safe! You can take my money, just not my Jay cd!! Noooo wa
y!! Your money or your cd!!!!!!

pps. Thanks to all the Thai fans for their kindness & hospitality - kab khun ka!!

I looked through as many posts as I can and as far as I can look I still didn't see this link. This is another link from http://album.keepalbum.com

These two are the 2 pics at Centre Point, Siam Square, on 24 Dec after the concert where Jay had his autograph session. Before and after the people started queuing up. I couldn't see myself there( of couse ) as the line was sooo long, it went zig zaging through the alleys and small streets. But it was so worth it as we all got to see Jay up close and I got to shake his soft hand.  Jay was sooo cute and has a good figure ( not as small as other people said)

Jay was sooo nice even though his schedule was so tight and it was quite hot in BKK he managed to smile all the time

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I was a bit nervous and excited to check this thread again.....very relieved.

Actually, this isn't my 1st Jay concert, I went to his concert in hong kong which blew me away, but the one in bk was the most memorable as I got to meet him.

wow momo_j thanks so much for the recount....
i was at the concert too and i REALLY REALLY got high !!! at one point where he walked out on the walkway i threw a teddy bear on stage but for some reason he didn't pick it up. he picked up this rose somebody held up to him and i went crazy. i was really hoping he would pick up the bear!!!! he walked right by it! towards the end the one of the dancers picked it up instead and was waving it around ... somewhat disappointed but i think he'll get it after the concert---which is what really matters.
i was at the airport, the press conference and then the mtv interview before the concert and yes he looked so hot and sexy. i bought gifts for him and his mom ye hui mei but i didn't get a chance to give it personally  ... i carried it to the concert but by then the wrapping was kind of worn and torn at the edges. i had a friend who was going tot he autograph session give it to him for me. i heard it was really awesome and i am really jealous about the handshaking i missed! i had to delay my flight for the concert and my parents wasn't going to let me miss christmas eve after that first delay! so i missed the up close encounter with him which i would't DIED for, but oh well... at least my gifts got delivered and this concert is not going to be the last of jay i see live!after the concert we were so tired but so hyper. soaked shirts and aching arms and greasy hair and running mascara resulted fromt he two hour concert! we were so sad that it was over ...
