Synopsis
Grace Chan (Barbie Hsu) has got kidnapped by the kidnapper (Liu Ye) and her whole family is under threat. She gets locked in a shed and calls Bob (Louis Koo) who she doesn't know, by connecting up telephone wires because the Kidnapper's crew smashed up the phone so that she couldn't contact the outer world, and they both try and save her and her family. It is hard to get the wires connected to call people hence the chinese title of this film is translated as 'Keep Connected' (however, the official english title is Connected). Detective Fai (Nick Cheung) helps too but he is not sure if it is a prank.

Main Cast
Barbie Hsu as Grace Chan
Louis Koo as Bob
Liu Ye as Kidnapper
Nick Cheung as Detective Fai

Review
I would seriously recommend this film to EVERYONE!! Even if you don't understand cantonese or mandarin.. READ THE ENGLISH SUBTITLES! It's sort of an action film but not heavy action and it's funny as well as serious! I won't say all the funny stuff that happens otherwise there will be no surprises.. but just WATCH OUT.. there are many surprises for you.. I watched this in the aeroplane and OH MY GOD I couldn't stop laughing at certain bits of the movie.. all the passengers were looking over.. LOL!

The main actors; Barbie Hsu, Louis Koo, Liu Ye and Nick Cheung pretty much acted out the whole film really well because they are all experienced.

The music that went with it fitted well although I can't really remember much of it because I was more into plot and what was happening than the music..

The plot of the story is well kept throughout the whole film and the storyline starts right from the beginning without too much waffle of unnecessary business at the beginning (like other films)..

I thought that it was going to be a really serious film and I even got recommended it when I went into CD shops when I was holidaying in Hong Kong in December and I really regret not buying it because I thought it was going to be a full action movie and I'm not really into those but this is definitely a comedy as well as an action movie.. I say you should give this film a try and if you don't like it.. my bad.. but if you do, recommend it to others.. =D

yo!

just watched this last night.

it's pretty good, especially seeing as it was based on the hollywood movie "cellular" (for those that didnt know, or thought this seemed a bit familiar). everything works well, and in some bits the tension gets quite high! the music is very well done as well, contributing to the mood of the movie occasionally.

and YES there is one part especially which i found absolutely HILARIOUS. you'll just have to watch and find out!

it's funny that it's a remake of an us-movie, normally it's the other way round!
only thing left to say is WATCH IT!
