Hello fellow jolly jcnetters! :D
'tis the season to be jolly! What's a Christmas without Christmas carols? We listen to them, sing them and sometimes DANCE to them! As much as the ninjas LOVE Christmas carols (and because we're dreamin' of a White Christmas), we hope that you guys love them too!
And have you ever thought of being the next Vincent Fang, Ashin, Francis Lee, or even Jay Chou by writing your VERY OWN lyrics?! well, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE in JCNET's VERY OWN lyrics rewriting competition!
So what are you waiting for? Put on your Santa hats now and START WRITING! :)
What you need to do:
1. Choose your favourite famous Christmas carol
2. Simply REWRITE the lyrics!
3. Sing your own lyrics is an optional (but it would be great to listen to the real song ^.^)
There is no restrictions - as long as the lyrics aren't discriminating, racist, insulting etc, you can write about almost EVERY TOPIC you want! For example, you might be writing about how Jay celebrates Christmas by eating a scrumptious turkey dinner, how smoking is bad for health etc!
The rewritten lyrics need not be Christmas based.
Submission date will be on 10 December and the ninjas will vote for the best lyrics!
Prizes: Winner will be awarded with the banner and reputation according to the title below
