^ yeah I agree with you!!! i mean a VIP seat for 268 bucks??? that's a lot of money >.<...and worst is 188 bucks for the seats behind the VIPs which are WORST than the $138 ones!!!!!! it's totally ridiculous but oh well~ jay chou comes over here only once in a blue moon so let's compensate x] and he knows his fans can't resist him so that's prolly why his tickets cost so much :D lol

and it's all gonna be sooooo worth it at the end so i guess it's ok to spend so much money on him xD

Hei! I got Section 24 too! I'm curious to know how is the setup like at Mohegan Sun. Based on the seating chart they have, it seems like 24 is actually not that bad - if the size is like a basketball stadium.

if any of you live near NYC, you can get your tickets in Chinatown. they've got posters in cd stores that are selling the tickets/have connections to getting tickets - but i got the 88$ ones and they're really selling out fast. :X i got mine... last week or the week before? so hurry up! :bleh:

they always say no cameras and/or camcorders allowed, but everyone uses cameras, i mean come on, they're not really gonna confiscate like 10,000 cameras....BUTTTT i've had experience with my camcorder being taken away during the middle of jay's last concert at mohegan...

Cameras
As a house rule, disposable cameras are permitted, but may be prohibited based on the request of the performing artist and their management. Call in advance to find out what the camera policy will be during the event. Video and audio recording equipment are prohibited in the arena at all times.

And there's nothing regarding "camera" policy on the other webpage where you can purchase the show's ticket.
So I'm sure we'll all be able to take pictures!! ^^

I'm sure Jay will allow it, then. He's kind of defiant when it comes to the security, and even when glowsticks aren't allowed, he tells the audience to throw some onto the stage so he can use them as drumsticks. So I'm sure he won't tell them not to allow cameras. :happy:

I remember going to Madison Square Garden to see the Spice Girls (childhood idol haha) and I paid for the most expensive sit... it was STILL SOO FAR! I couldn't see the faces not even with my glasses on! Thank god the guy next to me had a pair of binoculars and I borrowed them... my pictures came out all blurry cuz it was far and dark :( and with the lights, it comes out all-noisy~
Now, obviously MSG may be bigger than the Mohegan Sun Arena, but idk... X_X I'll take my chances :@

It's on the 21st cuz it's past midnight (20 going to 21). Maybe you can change your flight ticket! it's Jay! and it doesn't happen that often. Actually, I changed my flight ticket too~ I was gonna flight home on the 19th... and then I found out about the concert, so I decided to change it to the 21st (haha I'm going to the 2am concert, and my flight is at 3pm :P Anything for jay!!). Fortunately, for some unknown reason, the ticket was cheaper!!! So the airline is gonna refund me $500 for changing it :bleh: and I get to see Jay!!! So I totally recommend you to check it out!!! Maybe you'll be that lucky too!

My wife and I are going to the 2pm ... I actually prefer it because it's his last show in the U.S. I think, he'll do a goodbye, he'll probably be more relaxed, he'll be used to the Mohegan Sun stage setup, probably will talk more, more impromptu, and interact with the crowd more.

Plus if you hang around afterwards around dinnertime his entourage will probably hang around Mohegan Sun for dinner, gambling, etc. since (if you know Uncasville) there ain't nothing else to do in the area.

that concert was off da hook! it was my first jay concert- although his concert wasn't as 'showy' or flashy as his asian concerts that i saw in dvd, he still rocked the stage, and that's what matters! he was friggin awesome singing AND playing all the instruments he did.

the nqmm and jay's performance of dao xiang and zhang jie's sample of chi ni zhu de yu was my highlight. Im just happy Chi Ni Zhu De Yu(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apphm-5RbTU) received publicity since its one of fav songs.

omggg, that was my first Jay Chou concert ever too, and it was soooo good!!! i was sitting in section 26. his singing was just amazing. he has so much talent. i <3 himm!!! he was so cute and his outfits were awesome!! :-)
my favorite was the dueling piano part too.
i went with a group of friends, and one was black, and when he was talking to the audience he looked over and saw him, and was like "do you understand?" and my friends and i were like, "yes, of course we understand" then we realized he was talking about our other friend :D

Late post. I was there with the Mohegan sun VIP concert tickets. There were a lot of older people [older as in 40s+] in that section, not there because the tickets were free, but there because they actually liked him. If you're referring to people in their 20s, it's because most of them went to the last concert he had a few years back. I couldn't grab tickets to that one so I'm glad I got to go to this one.

I loved that NQMM was there too. That was the highlight of the day, a two for one deal.
