What if jay wasn't what you thought he was?

hi, im new here and ive always wondered...

what if you met jay and he wasnt what you thought he would be like?? like what if he was actually not as nice and as friendly and as respectful as he seems? Would you still like him if he was bad-tempered and rude to you??

of course, i really dont think jay would be like that at ALL. :happy:

i think that would really impact upon my impression of him...as he's always friendly and 'nice' in the media and whatever.

but that's the thing, it's always the media and not many of us actually see him live in the flesh...

i guess i'd be disappointed that a person of such great ability has such crappy personality. i'd still like his songs...but then this is hypothetical, because if this REALLY happened, i think i might not like them anymore...

I think if that happened to me, I'd be a little disappointed and I'd see him and even his music in a different way. I'd probably wonder if he sincerely means what he puts into his music, but I know as a shy person, it's much easier to use an outlet for true expression rather than be frank with interpersonal skills.

I could also consider him just having a bad day. After all, he is constantly being hounded by paparazzi and I can only imagine the kind of schedule he has to conform to because of his status.

well, personally i do not think he will be that way. but... if and only if he was really like that, being bad tempered and all that, i don't believe we should just condemn him. it's not easy being an artiste and having to balance so many things, it's really not easy to keep a smiling face for people every second. people are all born with emotions and fustration over work can cause bad temperedness. so there must be a reason behind his bad mood. but if his temper is really bad for no reason, i'll still close one eye and support him. i dun have a good temper myself. haha. :tongue:
