Ahhhhhhhhhh! i love this guy!!!!

I first met him in Nobuta Wo Produce, and i immediately liked him! I really want to watch Stand Up, but i can't find it anywhere!

I think his voice is lovely for singing! and he sounds like himself when he sings unlike many other people. :D

I love how he acts so laid back. so far in all the things i've watched him appear in, he's always been a laid back person. It's attractive to me... hehe

I have no idea who wrote that synopsis at jdorama but it’s half-wrong. Makoto (Tomoya Nagase) is not a member of the G-boys. You will realize the importance of this point as you become more engrossed in the Ikebukuro life. If you have seen Kudo Kankuro’s past works, you’ll notice immediately that this is also one of his. If you haven’t noticed, that’s fine. The big problem is not knowing who Kudo Kankuro is. Kudo Kankuro has written the screenplays for Kisarazu Cat’s Eye, Tiger and Dragon, Ping-Pong, 69, and many others than you can check at imdb. I would recommend watching T&G, or Kisarazu for starters and tackle IWGP if you want more. As much as I love Kankuro, his sense of humor would not attract everyone. First, if you are not a native Japanese, the majority of his punchlines are going to be useless because they are related with Japan’s pop culture from the 80s and 70s. I’ve lost half of the jokes from Kisarazu for this reason but then, I was already laughing my ass off even without them. Second, he doesn’t do fairy tale romance. But if you’re looking for a break with said sappy romance, then this is the next best alternative! Third, there’s lots of violence in his dramas, especially in IWGP. They don’t show the actual act of torture so to fill up the viewers’ imagination, they add in gallons of blood. (Fourth) The sexual undertones aren’t so bad because they cut the scene just before it gets rated R. Again, the last two points are at their extreme in IWGP....
Another notable actor is Ken Watanabe who plays a cop and Makoto’s helper with the cases. Watanabe is internationally known for his roles in The Last Samurai and Memoirs of a Geisha - both movies I haven’t seen. Now I know why he looked familiar! I saw him presenting an award from the last Oscars. Well, with this drama alone, I could tell that he is a veteran actor. There are also several appearances from today’s idols like YamaP as a talented artist, Tsumabuki Satoshi as a Yakuza, and the beautiful Koyuki as a yakuza mistress who falls for our Makoto.
If there’s one actor that made the IWGP viewing slightly annoying, it is Kato Ai. I would gladly exchanged her with Ito Misaki anytime of the day. Kato also stars in this Winter’s drama, Haken no Hinkaku. After seven years and 12 inches more hair, she is still as annoying as ever, if not worse.

I finished Kurosagi. I loved it, even tho no serious Yamaki action, but it was great. I'm almost done watching Stand Up!! freakin hilarious moments. www.MySoju.com gives you all the links to all the episodes of it.
I just finished watching this. soo funny. Scaring Inspector Yamap. no subs, but its still funny. "the main point of the game is trying to make yamapi's heart rate go up by scaring or shocking him in different ways while he's role playing as an inspector. there's a heart rate meter on the side of the screen where we can see if yamapi's heart rate is going up or down. if his heart rate goes high enough to a certain level, it is considered as an "out". there are actually other people playing this, but i cut out yamapi's part only. at the end of the game they're going to count the number of "outs" and the person with the least number of "outs" wins."

So I totally love him! I was actually just introduced to his stuff by my frind the other day. She kept telling me to watch Kurosagi and I finally did when she sent me a link to the episodes. After that I jumped on Nobuta wo Produce. That was a big bowl of love!
Now that I'm on my kick, I'm watching Stand Up!!! I have to say that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!
I just love how he is so very different in all of his roles! But I think I loved him in Nobuta the best...when he would say "kon"...that was the best moment of the show!

Japanese pretty boy Yamashita Tomohisa of boy band NewS was nearly raped by Korean fans at Kimpo Airport on the 5th.

Yamashita Tomohisa was stormed by the crazy little Korean fan girls who grabbed and groped at the top star, tearing away his clothes. The fans also hit the star on his head with presents they were trying to throw at him.

Although the entire situation was extremely dangerous, Yamashita Tomohisa stayed calm, waved at the fans and even helped pick up fans who had fallen down. As soon as he had made it thru the gate however, Tomohisa's legs gave out and he had collapsed for a little bit. Yamashita Tomohisa remained cool and calm, but his accompanying friends were extremely angered by the behavior of these Korean fans. They left cursing the fans, "these crazed Korean fans, are making Korea look extremely bad."

Yamashita Tomohisa is definitely a cool guy, how can anyone be nice to those rabid bitches? Tomohisa definitely needs better body guards next time, along with some mace, a billy club and a rabies vaccination.
