Game Introduction:
So you think you are an Olympic know-it-all? This is the second, and final game of the 2008 JCNet Olympics. With several questions, we intend to test how much you know about the past, present and future Olympics.

Game Play
This game is a quiz game (quite similar to one of the rounds of games in the Winter Games earlier on this year). This quiz is to be done individually

You must be a registered player in order to take the time-pressured individual quizzes. You need to SIGN UP (http://quizstar.4teachers.org/student/registrs.jsp) to take the quiz. The class is public, so ANYONE can register and take the quiz. Use your JCNET username so I will know who you are. In case a QuizStar member already registered with the same user name as yours here in JCNET, feel free to create a unique ID but be sure to inform me about your identity by posting in this thread. Players who have an existing account do not need to sign up for a new account, just use the same account as before.

After you have signed up for QuizStar, click search > class search > type JCNET Olympics Trivia then click exact match and if you see JCNET JCNET as your instructor, you're heading on the right path. Select the class, click register then go to classes. You'll see the quiz there.

No form of CHEATING will be tolerated. You can't take the quiz for other members nor create an account for them and take the quizzes using it.

[VERY IMPORTANT!]

This quiz is a time-pressured quiz. You only have 10 minutes to finish the 20-item quiz and you are only entitled to 1 attempt to take this quiz, so it means that your first try will be your last.

After the 10 minutes, your answers will be automatically submitted even if you haven't finished answering all the questions. In case there was a problem or some situation that interfered while you were taking the quiz (i.e. power interruption, unstable internet connection, etc.), please PM me so I can give you a chance to retake the quiz.

The quiz timer is located on the upper right side of the test page. The timer begins as soon as you view the quiz page. I'll be very strict with the time limit.

Even if you answered all 20 questions correctly but you exceeded the time limit by a mere 2 seconds, your perfect score will be forfeited. It will be replaced by a 0. So be sure you submit your answers on time.

If you're unsure about some of your answers, you can leave them blank but be sure to mark the 'flag for later review' button so you can answer it later if you still have time. You will be able to review all of your answers at the end of the quiz. Review your answers carefully before submitting.

After submitting the quiz, you should be directed to a page which shows you your result. Please copy and paste this and "Quote" it using the 'Quote Function' ( [ /quote] without the space)

just a quick note, some members havn't been able to take the quiz. This is probably due to the server being busy (it took me ages to login too :sweat:)..my suggestion to you if that happens is to try again later...

if this happens to you, and your quiz attempt gets taken away by accident (ie, you have not started the quiz) please let me know by sending me a PM and i will give you back your attempt :happy:

I think it's really 75% before I exceeded the limit. My mom came home, went in the room, gave me a bag of chocolate and told me to open it during the quiz, so I didn't do as well as I'd hoped. :sweat: Erm, they're mocha-flavored M&M's.
