well, firstly, like ive already said, this is a ella hate page~defenders? welcome! but preferably haters as well so i can share how i feel with this person.
first of all, i just hate her, absolute hate her.
to me, she is definitely overrated, whether it is about looks, acting or singing.
but what annoys me the most, are her fans, of course not all, but there are just some that you really feel like killing(lol).
ppl need to get this straight. she is NOT pretty, or cute, or sexy. just because she dressed in some dress, now everyone is calling her pretty. total BS if you ask me.
cause if that is the case, then everyone can be sexy. just grab a dress and you are now praised as being "sexy". really, she just reminds me of a man. its disgusting seeing her all feminine. its really like(to me) seeing a man in a dress posing sexily.
and now she acts!! she cant act at all, i reckon. take hana kimi for an example, yes, its true she is quite an enjoyable character, like, she is quite funny but she overxaggerates and does not follow the storyline quite correctly. she overexaggerates on her facial expressions which seems like we are looking at a different character, from what i recall, i dont remember ashiya mizuki(hana kimi character) as someone who has very bubbly expressions. a good actress should not only be able to aquire skills such as crying skills, but should also be able to follow the script/storyline well, which i find, ella chen lacks. if this is what she can do, then we might as well change the serie title! but then, some certain people tend to argue with me. yes, she MAY have been nominated for best actress award(or whatever it is) but the thing is, she didnt not actually win it. just because someone is nominated for something, it does not automatically mean they are good at the thing they are getting an award for.
as for her singing, i seriously dont get what is so unique about her voice. to me, its just a manly voice. yes, its something different but i dont really actually think it sounds real good. to be honest, out of S.H.E, i like hebe's voice the best, because it sounds strong, powerful and is not too girly, nor too manly, which i find, absolute perfect. i have actually tried to listen to ella's solos but i just cant listen to it. its not worth me listening to(no offence).
i would rather spend time listening to people such as jolin ,angela zhang, amber kuo or jade liu. those voices sound way better, in my opinion.
and again, i dont really get these comments much, " its not about the outside, its about the inside"- comment by a ella fan on youtube. first of all, yes, the statment is quite true that it is the inside that counts but wait, how exactly do you know ella has a great or nice personality? do you know her? have you met her? or why do you think that way? plus, when people write these kinds of comments, its making it sound like the other person they are comparing to are ugly on the inside. it seriously does not sound pleasant either.
im pretty sure people have also heard of this statement before as well: what you see, isnt always what is there
ok, lets take Gillian Chung for an example. im pretty sure most(if not all) have heard of the Edison Chen HK photo Scandal, if not, please take the time to wikipedia it, well, as you would have known, gillian was also involed in the photos which im sure, mostly everyone wouldve been quite disapointed with her. but the point is this, the only reason people hated her was because she was a hypocrite. she practially lied to the people. she is seen(in the industry) as innocent, virgin-like and very "scared of boys" person. she even said that she did not like kissing and was all innocent attitude but then the truth was revealed, she was a hypocrite! she said she hated kissing, yet she was involved with the scandal(and she admited it) so from this, we can say that what we see, isnt always what is truly there.
im not saying ella is slut, whore or bitchy or even mean, but just saying that its unfair to judge people because of just what you observe.
^^sorri, that is quite a long post, lol, hope i havent really wasted any of your time, and if anyone feels the same way, hope they can support my ideas so maybe we could share them?
and please, defenders ARE allowed, just as long as no critising of me or any actress comparison is posted. because, after all ,this is a hate thread, and this part, IS about hating Ella Chen.
