(August 8th-August 15) JCNET Olympic Games...Ready or not??

Are you excited about the upcoming Olympic Games? Well, we invite you to join us planners in celebrating the 2008 Beijing Olympics in a site wide theme week,

We’ll be having several “events” of our own in the upcoming week so that everyone can show their skills and compete for the gold. Keeps your eyes peeled!

The schedule will be for this upcoming Olympics are:

aug. 9 - announcement of Game 1: photoshop competition
aug. 10 - announcement of Game 2: quiz game
aug. 13 - deadline for submissions for Game 1. polls open to chose winners.
aug. 14 - deadline for submissions for Game 2. announce winners.
aug. 15 - polls close for Game 1. announce winners. closing ceremony

Promotional banners will be up shortly for those who can’t make their own. And for those who can, feel free to wear your banners proudly!

IN addition, your banners will give you brownie points and etc =) for the closing ceremony. If you have them on your banners...HOWEVER, if you customize and make your own =) you might have a chance for creativity points~~~

Also, throughout this week, we will have points for games, and these will be added to your total score =)

^ A brownie point is like a bonus point or extra point you get may it be from creativity, humor, etc. Those are additional points outside of the main criteria. Think of brownie points as special awards or consolation prizes that are awarded instantly for going the extra mile or by simply thinking outside the box. :D

Last night's LIVE Olympic show was SPECTACULAR!! My god!! They did an awesome job in performing, i was watching with wide eyes and mouth opening wide.

Just a quick word from the planning team...The Introduction to GAME ONE is out HERE!!!!!!! (http://jay-chou.net/forums/showthread.php?t=278688)

also, i would like to mention that this JCNET Olympic Games, similar to the current on-going Olympic games has the theme of 'one world, one dream' (yeah..i know too much Opening Ceremony watching for me..but it was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!)...therefore, there are no dividing up into Social Group teams (as in the Winter Games)...so, all those who are not in a Social Group, YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE... (ie. there are no adoptions etc...)...it's all INDIVIDUAL games!!

I have the lyrics to "Qian Shan Wan Shui" in the background, and it also says "Jia you!" and has the mascots. Very Olympics-related! :happy: Dana's is very cute, too! :D The Olympics mascots with Jay's face are so cute!
