PLOT: The story took place at 西城武藝學院 (name of the school), during that time the Chinese martial underworld (江湖:Jiang Hu) was still the goods against the devils. For the two legendary martial art books which is hidden in 4 different schools, both of the groups uses all their power to get it. The ones who gets it will have the power to rule over the Chinese martial underworld (江湖:Jiang Hu). People from all over the place whether it's male or female gathered together to search for it.
Amongst the students in 西城學院 (name of the school) the most powerful is 令狐聰 (Ling Hu Cong) (Wang Zi's character). A person who doesn't care about fame and wealth, who just wanted to be with his childhood friend (青梅竹馬) 上官雲 (Shang Guan Yun) (Ya Tou's character). But as a hero he will go through suffer and hardship, later on 郭敬 (Guo Jing) (A Wei's character) has caught up to him in martial art and also develop feelings for 任瑩瑩 (Ren Ying Ying) (Xiao Xun's character). Because of saving someone he lost all his internal power (內力) at the end the learned 獨孤劍法 and 易筋經 (names of his specialties). Then the story will start on 令狐聰 (Ling Hu Cong) & 郭敬 (Guo Jing).

At first the casts which were selected were more popular such as Ao Quan, Ya Tou etc. But was replaced by Wang Zi and Xiao Xun, to avoid fans complaining the casting list has not announced yet.
According to the news weekly "Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuan " will start filming at the end of April. To prevent the complication in "Hei Tang Ma Qi Duo " as there was a total of 14 casts, this time 3 guys and 3 girls will be selected.
As there is 14 to choose from the producer is having difficulties in selecting the casts.
The producer wishes "Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuan " to have a strong casting crew, so it was locked to members who have higher popularity such as Ao Quan, Wang Zi, Gui Gui, Xiao Xun, Mei Mei etc. But the producer also wishes to boost up members who have lesser popularity so Ao Quan, Gui Gui and Mei Mei was out of the list. And at the moment it's Wang Zi, Xiao Xun, A Wei, Ya Tou, Xiao Yu and Xiao Man.
But this group was questioned by the fans, asking why Wei Lian, Xiao Jie, Da Ya and Apple to have higher popularity is not in the list.
As supposed Ya Tou to be the main female lead but as the producer cooperated with Xiao Xun in "18 Jin Bu Jin " and was so knee on using Xiao Xun as the main female lead.
Other than stressing about the casts selection schedule is also a problem. Like Gui Gui and Ao Quan has a movie in hand and Mei Mei is starring in a drama called "Bu Liang Xiao Hua ", it is hard to balance it out.
To prevent the unfairness with Xiao Xun being the main female lead, the final casts list is confidential, nothing will be announced until it's finalise.
"Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuan " will be similar to a Korean Movie "Huo San Gao Xiao", genre is action comedy plus the love story between the 6 casts.

[2008.05.09] Lollipop and Blackie new drama "Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuang" has finally exposed. For the opening filming ceremony casting members: Wang Zi, A Wei, Xiao Yu, Xiao Xun, Ya Tou, Xiao Man also A Ben and Xiao Ma has come prepared with their specialties in the drama.
Wang Zi said "I'm really nervous, I'm scared that I do the ending pose my pants will rip apart". When it was asked why is not Ao Quan who's the one starring your character, Wang Zi jokingly replied "His age is older not suitable for this character."
At the moment all the didi and meimei are preparing for this drama, as for the kung fu parts in the drama everyone is making an effort learning/training. Wang Zi practiced really hard for the performance that was just shown. As he might get hurt during practice at first he put protection on the sword but it couldn't express the feels it needs so he might as well take it off and not worried about getting hurt.
Xiao Xun were swing a 4 meter long rope which scared everyone away, she happily said "I finally found a weapon that I can protect myself". A Ben's character is called which can really talk, he performed rapping but was said by everyone that it's too easy and relaxing for him.
Attending the first lesson of muscle stretching, when asked who got the most powerful hip power everyone pointed to Xiao Ma. But when they were tested on the hip power A Ben was the first one to surrender saying "I admit I'm the oldest".
Xiao Yu and Wang Zi complained how tiring they were after lesson and the girls scared that too much exercising on the bottom half of body will affect their breast growing.
When asked only Wang Zi, Xiao Yu, A Wei, Xiao Xun, Ya Tou, Xiao Man and A Ben & Xiao Ma participating in this drama, will it be unfair to the others? But the others will have other work to do such as Ao Quan he would be filming a movie, Wang Zi expressed that Ao Quan said "Hahaha, I don't need to attend to muscle stretching lesson".
A Wei was the most exciting one, he brought (A old but well known drama) for research but was addicted to it. A Wei said "My idol is and Andy ge promised me that he'd find him for as a guest in the drama".
Xiao Xun's character will have a scene together with snakes, she was so scared and said "I will try my best to overcome it so people will acknowledge my acting". And acting as a play boy, Xiao Yu got teased that he's just acting himself.

yes i will still watch it for yuyu awei qiushengyi aben xiaoma and yatou. yes i will still go crazy when i see them being so hot and all. but honestly, it doesn't even sound the SLIGHTEST BIT promising.

well well. just watched the first ep. i'm impressed by the effects and all. promising? let's just say it's giving me a bit of hope that it's not gonna be as lousy as BSM. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that a real plot will eventually develop, and not some weird complicated story written just so that so many people can act in it.

but when the show started i totally laughed my head off. it wasn't funny, but somehow seeing them acting reminded me of how bad they were in BSM, and all the lame things they are always doing. -__-" yeah.

Thanks *meow for the perview of the songs. This show is nice. But the action of fighting sence is not too good. For example the part where wangzi was pactising swords alone, the way he do the action is kind of fake. There's no strenght in it. But wangzi Jia You!

At first when I saw this series, i wasn't that interested, I was actualyl made to watch by my friend

But after the second episode, it became really good =D
I didn't really know the characters and who they were XD only wang zi, so it took my some time

but i think that ya tou and ah wei should be together xd
but dang this weeks episode =O
ep 5 was interesting
but it wasn't like "omg exciting" like the last episode.
But it definitely has its funny parts, and really dark sides

i think Wang Zi and Ao Quan really need a haircut...that part where Wang Zi jumped into the water fountain..he hair was like...really...wierd looking and long and...yeah...

all in all... i concluded that AWEI's acting improved the most and he's one of the best out of the heygirl/lollipop members in the drama. YU didn't improve THAT much but he's good. ABEN, well, needless to say, drama as usual. XIAOMA was alright, but he didn't have a chance to showcase a lot of things anyway, other than the part where he was hypnotized, which was quite funny. WANGZI was... like i've said many times, lousy. he needs to... be more... 放 (fang4). i have no idea how to say that in english. hmm.
XIAOXUN is still the same, and definitely still one of the best. XIAOMAN is okay, but she kind of tries too hard to be cute sometimes. as for YATOU, voice aside, she pulled off the stubborn/ spoilt girl role quite okay.

ah well. i'm gonna miss watching this each week. ): CAN'T SEE LIUXIANG AND EIGHTEEN ANYMORE! BOOHOO.

I am actually surprised this is over. XD

I started to watch this ever since one of my friends from school informed me during the summer, and i was bored..so i decided..why not

It became a good storyline. However, I disliked the ending -_-' I feel like they rushed it way too fast

AND OMG -_- HOW CAN THE EVIL JUST BE KILLED LIKE THAT!!! totally killed my expectations ahaha i was hoping for something greater xd ahahah but oo wells lol its a drama but then =/ i felt so bad at the end about ya tou and her "mental issues"

I will miss this drama as it entertained me through a lot of the summer and then now...no more=/

I think Ah Wei did improve, ever since BSM I think his acting is soo much better and more convincing to me. Wang Zi is just wang zi to me ahah i dont see anything new in him.

The ending was not something so great in my minds..but =/ I guess this is the end :cry:
