I recently started watching this drama (for Hiro :love:)..and now i'm so hooked to it...is anyone else watching it??..(Please let's all spazz here :D)

I think this is one of the BEST dramas ever, i mean, the plot is 'fresh' even though it is based on the manga, they have only roughly adopted the outline, not all the specific details.

However, it's so painful to wait for the subtitles to come out...

I absolutely love this show! I remember reading the manga a while back, so when I saw it being subbed I just had to watch it! There are quite a few differences between the manga and show, but it's working really well.

My original reason for watching was to see how big of a part Nakamura Shunsuke had in it. (I have a friend from college that looks almost exactly like him.)

Regardless, Hiro is just so handsome and charming in it that it's hard not to love him.

Hiro is love :love:...i dont care how perfect Nighto is...Soshi rocks :laughing:..i will chose Soshi over ANYONE...(ok..maybe i will have to think if he's against Chunnie..)

I started this thread since i really really need to spazz about it...i just finished Episode 7...and it was so heart-wrentching (since i'm rooting for Soshi :D)

Pam (can i call you that??)..you HAVE to watch episode 6...the ending...it made me have a heart attack...and man, that episode where Soshi said "I like you..."...my heart skipped a beat when he said that..and i kept re-watching and re-watching...

Yay! I'm watching also! I read the manga a while back and found it really sweet. But I feel the adaptation is much better since it's in an adult environment therefore it has more plot and character development. I find Hiro absolutely adorable. I watched many times the part where he pronunciates in french the name of the book. Later I found out he speaks perfect english. There are a couple of videos on youtube where he's speaking english. So cute! Anyhoo... Can't wait for the next episode!

The robot is smexy also! He's so tall! But what I don't like so much is his tan, but a japanese friend told me it's because he surfs.

BTW I was looking for a post about Mizushima Hiro but I couldn't find one in the japanese artists section. I don't have much info on him but if SOMEONE ehm... like jay_ed for example. :o) Could make a new thread with tons of info and pics that would be great! Ah Hiro! He's much cuter now than when he was in Hanadan, did you guys know that he was also in a Tokusatsu series called Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto Series.

and i love this drama too! sometimes i even think its better than last friends because it's so light hearted. (: and tenjo night is like HOW GOOOD! i want to have a robot boyfriend like him too! my gosh. i'm ROOTING FOR HIM jay_ed!! ROAR. haha. and especially more at the later episodes when he gains his own "conscious" and does super sweet things for her! ((:!

omg, i just watched episode 8!!!

i'm so happy that riiko is finally loving night! :D :D :D night is really really sweet and nice to her, especially now that he has developed his own conscious! i almost died when he ran over to save her, and the sweet thing he wrote on the ticket to the planetarium! having a robot boyfriend might not be that bad afterall :P

and haha, i'm not crazy over Hiro. :P but if jay_ed were to set up a thread, i'll help to post something! hahaha.

haha karen, i was so sad when i saw 02 got hit by the car! i was thinking, WHY NOT NIGHT!? but thankfully it was his calculation and night got hit instead. or else riiko won't realise that she actually cares about night a lot!!

and eeks, i didn't even get to watch the previews cos my tudou webpage stuck at the place where it ended. sigh. maybe i should reload, though i don't understand jap that well but at least i'll be more prepared for the next ep! :X

You're all so lucky you get to watch with chinese subs. Well, last night I watched ep. 7. It was really sweet but I felt the thing about the whole patissiere contest was left hanging. And the previews of 8 didn't show anything about the contest. BTW how many episodes will this series have? 11?

ok, i went to the official website, and they have a 'plot preview' of the upcoming episode, but it's written in Japanese..so i copied that in and put in through the translater...and i got really really wierd translations :oops:..apparently..

Soshi resigned from his job at Asamoto, and he's going to work at that Liberte bar. I have a feeling that he resigned from the company to like start his own company and enter into that competition that way.

^ That's all i got from the translation...since the rest was just wierd gibberish to me..:oops:

man..i'm addicted to that song, Okaeri, the ending song...i keep listening to it on repeat..hehe

So after a lot of spazzing from Karen and hearing TONS about this drama AND Hiro, I have finally decided to watch it :D

I watched only one episode but I'm already hooked. I totally love the robot! He's so cute :love:

But Hiro is really cute too. I shall watch another episode right now :]

and I watched Regatta because Matsuda Shota is in it ^^; anyway he looks totally different in both drama ne, I mean in Rgatta he is so cool, I love his tanned skin but it doesn't suit with that stupid smile he has as being a robot :whistle:

well, I just finished watching episode 7 (finally) I feel sorry for Soshi >< all of that time he could go to her place but the time she is hugging Night-to kun. and the preview for the episode 8, there will be a special guest, Abe Tsuyoshi as another robot kyaa~

^ Oh..the i like you part is before that, its when he resigns as the 'chief' and Riiko asks why..and he's like "it's because i like you...your cream puffs"

i honestly have the biggest craving for those cream puffs after watching that drama....

man..when Soshi sees her hugging Nighto...it's so heart wrenching...i was like screaming "DON'T LOOK THROUGH THE WINDOW!!!"

errr.. first of all, that part is in episode 5 and second he didn't say "I like you" :sweat:
he said 「・・・好きなんだよ。」it means "it's for/because of love"

yay I was screaming inside that line too that's really hurt T-T

However when the subs read I like you I was kind of wondering if that was really what he said, because of Riikos reaction, she was really amazed and like she totally froze. (I would have too, maybe I would have fainted and all *drools*).

Haaaa I also love it when Nighto say Am I sexy Riiko? If I were Riiko i'd be all over him, hellou!!! of course you're sexy, more than sexy, you big dumb hottie.

hahah karen, there are two places! it works for general many many channels :D i use TVU player (generally international channels) or else Keyhole TV (for jap channels only). just google them and you should be able to find the program website! then download it and select the channel just like a normal tv (:

and i still can't find links for ep 9! :( sigh.

Yep that is Oscar, I'm not believe my eyes either he acts as a GUY!! But Soshi's brother didn't has a role in Hana Kimi, he wasn't play as a teacher in Hana Kimi :sweat: the one who acted that role in a member from SMAP I don't even remember his name because I don't like him lol
and also 02 is not the guy from Hana Kimi, he actually is Abe Tsuyoshi who acts as one of F4 member in Hanadan ^^ and if you watch Initial D, you might also see him in it, he has a small role in it :brows:

whozthat..yeah..yesterday someone said on subpig that they can't find the raw file, and they would be happy if someone who had the raw file would let them know where to get it....i'm not sure whether they have found a raw file yet..i was going to leave a comment and ask, but they have disabled registering for the moment...apparently the japanese are being REALLY strict about it, saying that it's their copyright and have started to arrest people :oops:...you know how when you put japanese content, like shows or MVs or live performances on youtube, they will report you and suspend your account??

as far as i know, since i was looking on D-addicts, there's no raw file either...i'm praying at the moment....but there are 'raw' versions on veoh...so..i duno..someone must have a raw file SOMEWHERE in the world...

and i finally rewatched ep 9 with subs! i'm really looking forward to ep 10 now... i'm curious of how riiko will react to soshi's confession! hehhh. the ending part of ep 9 was quite ambiguous eh.

and i so love NIGHT! i'm a total night supporter. GANBATTE NIGHTO-KUN~~~ :P :P :P he is soooo adorable whenever he does stupid actions! he never fails to make me laugh :D i love all the random parts like how he became jealous of soshi in the bar for being popular the girls and he did some random action like stabbing or something! HEH. and not to forget the funny high 5 in the air when he expected riiko to high 5 with him but didn't :P SO KAWAII. :roll:

okay its just 3 days to ep 10! i hope there are 11 eps so it wouldnt end so early haha.

:roll:..he cracks me up with those cute little things that he does...and ROFL..when he tried to kiss Rikko while watching the Dolphins..since Rikko said it was cute the dolphins were kissing the trainers...it was soooooo adorable...(but then..Soshi saw..and his heart broke into a million little pieces..:oops:)

i read some translated preview thing on Baidu..and it was sort of like after the confession, Rikko had no idea why it felt so strange and she wasnt happy...and then something about Soshi asking her to go to Paris together to learn more about making cakes...but meanwhile, Nighto starts 'malfunctioning'..like he starts getting a fever..(i think this is foreshadowed by him clutching his heart)

MAN..i'm SOOOOO excited...:bounce:

i watched a really small part of it live...and then...since i didnt understand anything..i decided i would stop watching it...from people's comments..i could tell the episode was really sad...apparently a lot of people cried...and the official website says that the for the final episode, you'll definately be crying really hard...:cry:

ok..so i woke up and saw that episode 10 subs were out..and it downloaded REALLY fast...so i just finished watching it...

man..it was so sad....my feelings are so complicated....

i don't want Nighto to die...but i want Rikko to be with Soshi....and if Nighto doesnt 'die'..then Rikko can't be with Soshi right??....

here's my thoughts on episode 10 (please share if you've watched)

Nighto is really really sweet...i nearly cried for a lot of scenes, especially when he's 'sick' but he refuses to go the the hospital despite Soshi asks him to go, since he doesnt want to 'waste money as fixing him is expensive', and even though he's sick, all he wants is for Rikko to be happy and to go achieve her dreams. When he made that speech about how even Rikko would be gone, he would still clean the house and do the laundery and etc so Rikko can come home whenever she wants...

and then then Soshi found out Nighto is a robot...he was so shocked....(and why are they SOOOOO little Soshi scenes this episode??)...i think even thought Rikko can't leave Nighto on his own, she should still go to Paris..i mean, that's her wish and dream, and Nighto wants her to achieve that..

I somehow think that, even though Rikko says Nighto is really important to her, it might not be love, i mean, if you spend every single day with one person/thing you will always develop feelings, but is that love?..or dependancy? or just being used to having him there?

ok..that was long....i read some translation about next weeks episode (the final one...)..and it seems...*sigh*....

i duno..i'm feeling contradictory again....i want all 3 of them to be happy...

OMG...i just watched episode 11 - The Finale..:cry:

and i cried and cried and cried...(even though i was rooting for Soshi and Rikko) i still cried like a baby...:cry::cry::cry:.....

the ending was so sweet and beautiful..yet sad....ARGH..i thought it was supposed to be a happy romance story!!!!

everything Nighto did touched me...*sigh*..i really really didn't want him to die...but then, i wanted Rikko and Soshi together...the drama kind of left it regarding Soshi and Rikko's love...GRAH!!!

and the fact that Nighto left Rikko his IC Chip, which was basically all his memories...his heart and brain...T.T...and the message he left her..it was so sweet and sad..

i feel like crying again...:cry:

^ well..actually both Hiro & Mokomichi were in Gokusen 2 :D...so i think Corrie is right saying the lead/s were in Gokusen 2 (from what i gather..Hiro is the one who always wears a BRIGHT green shirt..and only has like 1 or 2 lines in the whole thing..)

oh...the baidu tie bar...i don't like it...the fans in there are so...opinionated...there's alot of hate comments on Hiro :-x and well..yeah..i think most of the fans in there are Nighto fans..so alot of those gifs are of Nighto...

oh..how i miss Nighto...:cry:...i don't have the courage to watch the whole series again..it's too sad..:cry:
