i thought i made a thread about this already but i couldn't find it.
i don't think the song is in mandarin cause it doesn't sound like it, most of it. i could be wrong and there may be some mandarin words/lines.
can anyone identify the name of this language.. and if you happen to know what they're saying, translation please?

I dont think it's mandarin, coz.... again, i couldnt even understand a single word. Too high pitch(What the heck?!) that makes the words he and she sang not clear. Sorry about that... all i can answer you is that the language is not in mandarin.
But... like the tune after the guy suddenly jumped onto the stage.

@JOCSIM: yeah, i love it when he jumps in too cause i didn't expect that. ayouduo usually sings solo and not really this style. so, i was a bit surprise when the guy jumps in and the style of music changed a little.
JOCSIM, where are you from? are you familiar with Chinese culture?
@JALYN: i read that she speaks Hmu, but i think i also read that she spoke other languages too, so i'm a little confused.
it would be nice to know someone who understands the language they sing. i don't think those kind of miao live in america or anywhere else besides china but, i can be wrong .

cheekySEEKy- I only familiarize or know with those modern cultures only, but not those traditional cultures. Actually, it is i who need to thank you for like, helping me learning different cultures from Mainland like the Hmong and Miao that i've learnt recently. I really dont know about those natives things from China.
Ok, above mentioned is kind of going out of topic now. Shouldnt be talking about those things here but since your asking so i have to answer(lol).
JALYN- Lol, that wasnt hokkien or hainanese. It's more like natives languages.

^ well, that's debatable. some say they're hmong and some say they're not.. but hmong have many dialects.. and if ayouduo's people ARE hmong, then they speak a totally different hmong language that other Hmong don't understand. no one knows the true story, some say that the chinese separated the hmong into many groups and dispersed them all over china, that's why we speak differently and our culture is different.
but what she sings is not the hmong launguage/dialect the hmong in SE Asia or in the west speak.
