Ken'ichi Matsuyama

If you had watched Deathnote movies and the recently released movie L: Change the World, you may know who Ken'ichi Matsuyama is. He is the guy who played the role as the genius detective, L. I am absolutely infatuated with this guy! He's kawaii ne! (though I still love Jay more). Haha.
Well, I had caught his most recent movie L: Change the World and I must say that it is indeed an awesome movie that must not be missed, for both Deathnote fans and non- Deathnote fans. Why do I say so? It's because this movie had no connection to the deathnote movies at all. But nevertheless, it is still great to the max! Haha.
I'll like to recommend a drama serial which he had acted in. It is called Sexy Voice and Robo. Okay, I've got to admit that the title sounds lame but trust me, it is a show that can make you laugh and is highly recommended for its destress and entertainment value. Ken'ichi's acting skills in both the drama and the movies will let you look at him from a different perspective. When I first watch the drama, I had a hard time convincing myself that it is the same man playing the roles!
The purpose of putting up this post is to meet and hear from people who share the admiration for both Jay and Ken'ichi! Hope to hear from you peeps and let's share the news together! :D

he also acted in the jap tear-jerking drama, "one litre of tears"! i only realised this recently from the movie review of L change the world cos he certainly don't look like L in it. could be because he was not the leading actor too, so I didnt pay too much attention to him.

he is also in the japanese film (that was adapted on a mangga) called nana... he played the role of shin (the blonde guy on the film)...he has a lot of movie and series under his name, but i think the death note series is the one that made him famous, not only in asia but all over the world... :-)

When I first watched "1 litre of Tears", I totally HATED him. Well, not really him but the character Kawamoto Senpai who was such an idiot! He was so mean to Aya (the main character). Then Death Note came along, and I totally loved L. I guess it proves to me that he's a good actor, that made me hate him so much in the drama, but is so incredibly cute in Death Note.

totally agreed!! the very reason i watched Death nOte 1 & 2 was that i didn't believe L and kawamoto is acted by same person..:whistle: anyway the only person i know who hates L is my sister~ coz of his eccentricity, but heck, that what makes L so cute! :D ~ hope to catch the third part on DVD/net soon (haven't watch it yet :worry:)..

even I heard he acted in another drama/movie before but I never has a chance to see him in another role yet. He totally look different from the L character in his real life :laughing:

I do agree he looks cooler as L than himself =P
