Which singer/band do u like (apart from Jay)?

I've listened to Jay for quite awhile now (and a little bit of Wang Lee Hom and S.H.E:happy:), but I was wondering what other singers or bands there are that are just as good.

I absolutely love jay! No one can be any better compared to him... Wahhaha... But of cos, there are some singers that are admirable too. I think mayday is cool. Got their own unique style. Quite like Van Fan and SHE too. :D

Sad to say i like Fahrenheit is because of their looks. If it's in terms of music quality, i'd go for S.H.E. How many band/group can remain together as long as them and could still maintain themselves at the top. Jay is my favorite chinese singer/musician and i don't listen to other chinese singers. I do listen to some american singers and japanese singers though. Aoyama Thelma isn't too bad. She's R&B and japanese/trinidadian. American bands i like are Linkin Park and Savage Garden. Savage Garden's music sorta reminds me of Jay's music. Like that remix of Jay's Jian Dan Ai and Savage Garden's Truly, Madly, Deeply.

I listen to lots of different music!

Aikawa Nanase was the first Asian rock/pop star that I became familiar with, and I just love her songs. She's got some attitude! :tongue: Aya Matsuura is also great.

S.H.E. is ok and lately I've also discovered Teresa Teng, she really has (or had) an amazing voice. Some Dir En Grey songs are good too. Oh, and Shonen Knife! I heard that Kurt Cobain really loved them so that's how I found them. Their Ramones -cover really rocks.

As for western stuff, Bon Jovi was my first big idol back in the 90s. Then came the Swedish band Kent, Finnish bands HIM and Nightwish, which led me to listen to heavy metal like Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth, Within Temptation, Leaves' Eyes, Slayer, Metallica and so on.

Then there are the classics like The Doors, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Madonna, Michael Jackson - love them all.

Lately I've been into this fabulous young singer Duffy, she's just pure talent! :happy:

I like JJ Lin, Gary Cao (before the fighting incident though), Khalil Fong and Crowd Lu. I also like Johanna Wang and Amei. I think they all have great voices and can sing really well. Of course Jay is also as good (or better). I must maintain a neutral postition. Haha. I don't really like groups of singers cause I think they have lower singing standards. But maybe that's just me.
