yesterday I went to carrefour and bought a lot of bread. I like most is carrefour muffins. hmm... so yummy... I don't know whether Jakarta carrefour sell muffins or not. julie, what kind of noodle you like? I only like ramen and udon. I don't like any other noddle. but ramen and udon instant is so expensive in supermarket. I like kwetiaw than noddle. my favorite is kwetiaw mangga besar since my house is near there.
Lae, sure we can go shopping together sometimes. it's fine with me if I'm alone spend the whole day at the mall than I go alone to mangga dua cos I surely get lost in mangga dua hahaha.... I think I went to mangga dua only 3 times. Lae, mangga dua is like chow kit I think. Mangga dua sells cloths, wedding assesories, ribbons, hair clips, earings, shoes and stuff like that.
err... I'm sorry for my bad memorizing... what is aishiteru and shadow knight name again? really sorry guys.... and where is aina?

I love kwetiau Bakso Akiaw so much. the one next to Akang. OMG... it's super delicious. It origin from Medan, I ate in medan for the first time when i went there. And i always wanted for it so much. Until I found out that they have branch here. I had it about not more than a weeks ago. and i want it again now.

I love any kind of noodle.
I prefer ramen than udon. Actually i didn't like udon until I eat it at Hachi-hachi. their fried udon is super delicious. super super delicious.

Cen, you don't need to scare if you get lost in Mangga Dua. :D Just walk and walk. I also never remember that area. I just walk and walk until i find what i need. and I usually compare the price from one to another shop to find the cheaper one. :D

Which carrefour do you go? My bf work in carrefour puri. :D

And the food there also are delicious. but the portion is so small. I never get enough. I love their SOTO MIE. :D

Nancy, I don't like watching sinetron also. See their make up, they just like clown. And I don't like the story also, it's always about anger, revange, love story, sarcasm, and ghost. Not creative at all. Compare it with taiwanese, korean or japanese drama, they are more creative and interesting story line.

err... julie, I went to carrefour only once in Jakarta in my life and it is near mandala I think. On hayam wuruk street and it's a long long long time ago. You're going to KL next month? so nice.... don't forget to report us about the concert ok hehehe.... Can you bring camera inside the concert? cos I remembered I went to F4 concert in Jakarta on january 2003 and they don't allow us to bring camera and mineral or soft drink bottle. The security in Jakarta is so strict.

I mean even tough only for 1.5 hours, we still enjoy all his song (16 song, more or less). well, my first concert tough.

the funny thing is I hide my camera when there's a gossip that they gonna screen all camera from the concert. I hid it under my shirt (lucky, I wear a jacket). Later on I thinking that is not the best hiding place so I cling it under my arm then put on my jacket. ^^ finally, they didn't check it! coz we, the festival, just run over the officer when the door is open. They didn't check the ticket too...

i went to Hillsong concert only. one when i was in Sydney and the last one was in Surabaya. Quite nice coz i like some of their songs so i really enjoyed it.

Hotel? Mmm Lae, do you know any inn near stadium merdeka? we are not looking for hotel, we prefer inn. it's cheaper. but if we don't get any, then we will try to find hotel. if you know some list of good inn/hotel which is not too expensive, can you inform me? actually a friend of mine who live in malaysia already give me some list of hotel, and i interested to royal bintang (er.. i don't remember exactly), it's RM135 while the others offer are about RM200. she said it's near to sungai weng.

Julie...My friend told me that there's no inn in KL but we have 2-3 star hotel which is the price is reasonable so is it okay? The nearest hotel to Stadium Merdeka is at Chow Kit, maybe Icen knows well about this area! I try to help you as long as I can but I'm not living in KL so not much I know about this city but I do still have many friends at there...

Um.. Don't mean to be 'belagu' but my school right now has better facility compared to SMUK1. Each class has 2 AC and OHP, we have elevator, gym, chapel, auditorium, 3comp labs, separate science lab (Physics, Chemistry, Bio), botanical room, cooking room, huge library (even 25% of the bookshelf is empty), basement, swimming pool, grass soccer field, marathon laps (but it's useless, there's no marathon actvity. Usually students use it for punishment)
For activities we have Japanese language, manga (how to draw), photography, electric guitar, painting, etc
But the school fee is too much I guess, thats way I'm gonna move to regular school, not international school anymore..

hihi to indonesian jcnetters. as a malaysian i wish visitors to our country to have an enjoyable n safe time . our country is generally safe but there are cases of snatch bags - from motorcylists n sometimes pedestrians . pls do not carry yr important documents n money in a handbag or slingbag as these snatchers will grab them n knock u down too. better wear pants with pockets . also take care of yr handphones too. as it is quite difficult to get a taxi after the concert , which might end about 11.30pm , i suggest that ( if u are staying in a good hotel ) , to book a hotel taxi to n from the mederka stadium. confirm with the taxi the pick up location - make sure driver n u knows where it is exactly. i say this from experience as i m from outstation and luckily i have a friend who could drop n pick me up there. esp , picking up - it was late n i was unfamiliar with the pick up point then. also , when the after concert crowd all used the handphone at the same tiem , sometimes the lines get jammed! be patient.
finally , let's l have a great time on the 23feb at the stadium mederda . i shall be cheering from the very cheap seats.

but I tell you, I'm a SMUK's student too. SMUK 1 is the best compared to other SMUK BPK Penabur has ever had. It's not only because of the facility. in facility aspect, the difference from the other SMUK maybe only the lift.

BUT, they also known to have strict teachers & competitive students.
If you can't hang on... Well, better hang on! :D

What I learn from staying in KL is don't ever ever speak indonesian language in public especially on taxi cos if the driver know that you are not malaysian, he will take you round and round until the taxi fare is so expensive. Sometimes the drivers are clever. If he see you not talking then he will start asking you questions like where are you from, what are you doing there etc and when you answer he can know whether you are malaysian or not.

And I never bring along my pasport with me, just the copy. I'm not sure about this cos some my friends said if the police check you and you just give the copy, the police won't receive it. They want the original which I find it ridiculus for foreign people bring along their pasport everywhere. If the thief snatch our bag with our pasport inside then it wil be a problem cos we definetely can't come back to Indonesia.

yukiko , better to book taxi to pick u up after concert but make sure u n taxi driver wait at the same spot!! make very sure u know how to get to that spot after the concert. i remember last time , with the encores , the concert finished at 11.15 , n by the time we came out with the big crowd , it's abt 11.30pm.

p.s. in malaysia , the police will not accept document copy, so must have original. also look out for pick pockets in crowded places eg monorail / buses. best have yr docs in clothing inner pockets n watch out for that pockets. sorry to sound paranoid but my sis who visited me from sin last year had her handbag snatched by motorcylist n lost passport/ credit cards n money. she spent her holiday going to the polis station n embassy reportign her lost. so unhappy trip for her. now , she wears a waist pouch ( not so fashionable but safer ). hey , don't be too worried, just be careful . malaysia , is a wonderful place but hve same criminal problems as other big cities.

yukiko, sorry i do not hve the taxis nbrs but since u are staying at the novotel hotel ( i presumed it's a decent hotel ) , then i suggest u ask the conceirge to arrange a proper taxi to drop off n pick u up. it will not be cheap but at least it will be safe.
btw, many years ago , when i visited jakarta , i too have to be safety cautious . most cities have its pros n cons ( but i find some cities like sin n hkg very safe ).

Sanur (Santa Ursula) is the second better perhaps, their IPA is no.2 and their IPS is no.1!

But I won't enter Sanur since it's an-only-girls school and I hate it ><
I heard once a month they met with student from Canisius (which is an-only-boy school). The rules are very strict and most of the students seems so 'cupu'. I can't live in a school like that, I'm not a good girl =P

"Ooohh, now we have all brand new computers set !! all LCDs!!"
and i was like :shifty: sh*t !!!

when i was there, all i got is lousy old dirty computers..with annoying mouse..*sigh*

and now i heard that they are in progress of building new campus.. :shifty:
they used the money i paid for years ago for future students' benefit..

yep mostly with air conditions are international school and national schools in which they are 1st ranking in the city. others than that still non air conditioned.

hmm hard to say that only happen in big cities in indonesia. if you are in small cities, even the school ranked pretty well and also popular they are still non air conditioned. unless they are some donations coming in. for sure the donations not totally for buying air conditions. there are some others things to use that money for such as building renovations, tools for each class (boards, desks, tables)..

i had to have 3 students attend international school and they are siblings. at the tuition they always inform that their school fee is expensive 'cause we attend the best school, have this and that. we have more holidays compare with others. sometimes it made me sick to hear that. also they said our books are in English. In fact, those kids do not pay lots attention into social subjects such as they do not know what 'mufakat' means or 'musyawarah' means. suppose that the school highlight more on creative things

Actually, I prefer White Shirt, but... think that almost all of my wardrobe are full of white shirt, i buy others colors.

And i also bought a baby doll. it's a sack dress, with a brownish blocky. I feel like a cowgirl when i wore it last night.

I haven't got a new shoes, so i plan to go to mangdu *again* a day before CNY.
I can't never buy the ones sold in Mall. They are too big for my size.
But luckily I have found a shoes shop that can make me a special size.
i just need to order it from there. It's located at ITC.
so my tiny size feet issues is no more problem for me.. :D

I want to look for a cuter baby doll i saw last week.
Last week was not so fun because I only had some in my pocket.
meanwhile, i haven't got my salary yet.. so i have limited shopping last week.

I watched it today with bunch of JayINDO friends.
I thought that it's gonna be only 10++ of us watching, but when i arrive there, it's out of my expectation. It's earlier.

We even distribute a DVD contains Jay's concert clip which Aina gathered earlier and compile it into a DVD. Thanks a lot Aina, I never thought of that before.
And I'm so impressed with the cover. even it's just a logo but i knew you put a lot effort to make it. *coughlovecoughiloveainacoughlovecough*

I love the OST. And i love jay's expression while he claps his hand. OMO, he's real damn the real hottest ever guy in this world.

and the best part of watching it is We laughed together. I felt so happy today. We also took pictures with the big KFD banner as the back ground.
