View Full Version : Indo Fans : Welcome to the DIAO-est place to "Nongkrong" part 9!!!!!
i have interest in photography, but photography is such an expensive hobby.
you need to have a very good camera and not just an usual digicam..and it worths $$$$$$..
talking about camera..olympus is said to be world's no.1 brand for camera..but i guess it's wrong.
I bought olympus camera..but it sucks big time !
it's written "anti-shake", while the fact is most of my pictures are blurry :shifty:
i have to be as steady as i could to get nice pics and that's difficult to do, coz one's hand can't be that steady!!!
i regret buying olympus..
i always wanted to buy Nikon..
but i have no idea why i bought olympus in the end..
stupid choice..
*looking at ncon's DA page*
be back later with some comments *maybe*

EARTHQUAKE...
6,6 Aceh.. Have a bad sensation.. This time.. Medan shakes alot.. I just come back from the evacuation.. Haha..
From the first.. I think i have a headache.. But then, i know i was wrong when my colleagues are running out from the office.. Haha..
Does jkt shakes? or it just sumatera island?
@aina, photography is an expensive hobby.. Right.. Thats why i dont improved it.. Haha..
Olympus always be a sucks camera.. Ever use it once.. But bleh.. Dont like it..
Now, my camera is Canon.. I like it more than olympus.. But I'm sure nikon is the best..
@encon, looking at your page now.. not bad leh.. you got talent on it.. What cameras are you using right now?

catherine: My name's Nasya.. ^^
Lucky you then...
Coz I still have my school's examination!! So I have to learn double science since my school's curriculums are different from the UN... Damn...:rasp:
I'm in Jakarta.. How abt you?
Yeah, right now there are some school with pariwisata major..
It's kinda alike with the language major, but the difference between it that beside of learning languageS they also learn how to be a tour guide.
They learn how to make up theyself quickly. One of my friend said that they have to learn talking while smiling.. The only comment is: My mouth is freakin' tired.. LOL :-)
Ncon: What a cute dog!! Is it a dachshund?
Talking abt photography, there's a photography activity in my school.. But I don't have the camera so I didn't take it ><
After all, if I take it I'll have to learn about physics.. The speed of the light, and the angle, and blah3..
And I'll stay away as far as possible from physics
@wangsawinata : i'm living in east java right now. malang city. haha photography? i do like it too! but all i've got is just DSC W 100 sony cybershot.. but that's fine. it means i have to maximize it to get best pic.
i visited your site.. great pics eh :D !
and one pic titled getting dark outside.. did you use adobe to put the effects?
@yukiko : enjoy your time with Jay! :bleh:

maybe am the only one left behind for ncon's DA.. am browsing it rite now..quite interesting.
i really want to learn how to use PS but till now don't have time..even just for simple one :crazy:
@aina: from what i know olympus is good for camera. i have one camera but it's not digital. the quality of the picture is not that bad. the price for olympus can say that it's not cheap leh. when i did window shopping for camera, the salesperson told me that panasonic is the best. even if you compare with sony cybershot still panasonic better. the price is expensive
i bought mine "Samsung". so far the quality of picture is okay and it's anti-shake as well...for price it's quite reasonable for my wallet :bleh:
everyone is like taking picture of his/her self hahahaha  but some people may think that it's a bit crazy...that's what my bro said to me..sometimes i like to mix and match my clothes and then taking picture :excited:
@lynie: which part of sumatra? aceh? i watched the news last nite on cabletv..it's only said sumatera island. 7.5 Ritcher scale. 3 dead and around 25 are injured...pretty bad...
lynie
02-21-2008, 06:39 AM
@aishiteru, olympus is not a bad camera.. but you have to purchase the expensive one.. The cheap ones.. Bleh.. cant use de...
If sony, canon, etc.. you can purchase the cheap one.. even the quality is lower.. but still can use lah..
the center of the earthquake is aceh, sinabang.. 7.3.. but medan shakes alot too.. 6.6
even people from pematang siantar said that the earthquake really scary..
there's few cars parking beside my office.. Because they dont pull the stang, its moving leh.. almost crash the car in front.. the electricity pole are shaking too.. about 10cm each shake..
one of my friend.. she's working at a hotel.. when the earthquake comes.. she's @5th floor.. she said.. really scary.. not only the shakes.. but all guests are running.. almost step on her..
i didn't know about earthquake in medan until one of my coworker told me..
somehow, gossiptainment is more exciting and fun to watch than national news..
so, how's it? pretty bad i guess, eh?
------------------------
when i arrived at my office this morning, it's all dark :glug:
the electricity was down..from about 8.05 until 12.15...
and i didn't do anything that long..
well, i read (magazines and newspaper), but no work-related at all
and when the electricity is up, i was like "Sh*t!!*
pressure begins..
Guess that we who live in Java and Bali will experience electricity shut down until friday (kompas newspaper wrote that)...
they (gov) told us to take the warning of energy crisis seriously.. :shifty:
they have to look at mirror and see their monkey-look-like faces..
lynie
02-21-2008, 08:04 AM
@aina, i'm agree with you.. gossiping always be the best entertain.. haha..
myself also rarely to watch national news.. kinda boring..
in medan? still ok.. nothing happen.. its better than sinabang.. alot of house crash down.. people die.. many people injured also..
electricity was down? jkt also has this problem? i thought only medan has it.. haha.. people in medan already used to it liao.. everyday.. 4-5hours..
the best things from this is.. like what you said aina, dont have to work.. haha.. i loved it..

@aina: it also happened to me before. when there was earthquake in Padang, i didn't know. it was pretty bad at that time. till i arrived at the office and signed in my msn, suddenly my Thai friend asked me whether i was ok or not. coz she watched on the local news, indonesia got earthquake
sound so stupid...maybe she thought that i did nothing or maybe spent my time watching those stupid tv shows heh?
black out this morning? why don't ask ur boss to go home and office closes for today only? hahahhahahhhahha :rasp:
@lynie: ya it's so scary..i experienced once before. but the shaking was not that strong. it happened in another county near my hometown. when i looked at the walls, some of the pictures a bit shaking and also the lamp...omg it's earthquake somewhere T______T
@ncon: hmm i like the picture that u taken from car. the title is rainy day or something i can't remember...very good setting :excited:

hi guys i havent been on this thread for a long time and i come at the right time! ehem.. im using nikon coolpix 5200 now... and planning to buy panasonic FX33... and ive asked several stores in mangga dua... when me and my dad told the shopkeeper that we were looking for panasonic (lumix), he said that only ppl who understands photography that look for panasonic. because of the lens: leica lens. i absolutely know nothing about photography... my dad knows a little bit but he doesnt really follow the digicam trend... so i trust the shopkeeper and panasonic is my final choice (the shopkeeper recommended panasonic and canon... he said that sony and olympus werent as good as we thought and nikon's pocket cam isnt really good)... but fx33 is so expensive! about 3,7 million in electronic city and about 3 million in mangga dua (guarantee card from stores a.k.a BM) and BM ones dont have white color!!!! -_-'' i planned to buy digicam above 2 million and under 3 million... -_- sigh....

hi yingyi
i do agree that Sony, Nikon and Olympus digicam are not so good cos i've already experienced myself
and glad that u bought Panasonic :excited: ! i heard that it is good !
@aishiteru thanks ! glad to hear that it titled Cold and Rainy day
anw, anyone has DA page ? or is it just me?
hahaha now this thread talking abt photography stuff :brows:

02-22-2008, 02:15 AM
 yingyi,
you've bought panasonic.. Hmm.. great choice.. I like lumix.. the pics always clear.. the lumix's antishake works very well..
@encon, is that pics are olympus's product? Hmm.. Nice eh..
Is it singapore's clarke quay? Looks familiar to me.. :-)
@aishiteru, 4pm and 2hours to go? Are you always working until 6pm?
@aina, if today is another black day (no electricity) then you can consider aishiteru's suggestion.. :D Closed office for a day.. Haha..
wangsawinata
02-22-2008, 02:24 AM
@lynie yes those pics are taken with Olympus camera and yes that is Clarke Quay :D!
lynie
02-22-2008, 03:51 AM
@encon, olympus camera not that bad huh.. Those pics are clear.. and the light are enough too.. Maybe i'm the one who cant use it well.. Hehe..
Yay... Clarke quay.. Haha.. I'm right then.. I still remember those pillar.. Left and right.. And the watery fountain.. hehe.. Still fresh in my memory.. Bcause just visit there @january.. Just one day before going to jay's concert.. Haha... :excited:
aishiteru
02-22-2008, 04:35 AM
@ncon: maybe only you have DA page in this thread..me definitely don't have any...
@lynie: yeap. always leave office by 6pm. it has positive and negative sides..
negative side: can't go shopping or enjoy the rest of the day since it's too late to prepare going somewhere else after work. so arrive at home, just unwind myself.
positive side: during that time no traffic jam..hahahaha!
@nasya: i saw the ads. it's olympus mju and it comes with many different colors e.g. yellow, purple and green...:bleh: the ads is cool. they can take picture in the pool
@yingyi: hmm good choice. first of all, i'd fallen in love with panasonic lumix..but too expensive. so i bought samsung..because it's only for the sake of taking picture not professional one. as long as the setting is good then i'll be :wink2: satisfied.
lynie
02-22-2008, 06:30 AM
@aishiteru, i forget that you're lived in jkt. hehe.. traffic jam huh..
What time you reach your home everyday?
My last trip to jkt... Hueh... Almost everywhere has traffic jam.. But my cousin said.. Its not a traffic jam.. The car is still moving.. even it only moves for 1cm each time.. cape d..
OH MY GOD, ncon that picture taken at clarke quay is sooo nice..
yeah..i guess i didn't do enough "research" about digicam before i bought my camera..sigh..this what happened when you're so brand-minded..
I thought all types of olympus and nikon cameras are good, but apparently, it's only valid for the LSR types..which i can't afford
Panasonic Lumix is good?
okay, maybe it will be my next purchase of camera..
but what should i do with my olympus pocket cam?
why in the world can't we sell our old camera and top up to get the new one? like cellphone.. :sadangel:
if there's any 0% credit for that panasonic camera, i'm so buying it..
Cindy YOU'RE BACK !!!!!!!!! don't go again..
aargghh tomorrow is jay's malaysia concert...i'm not going but i'm excited, dunno why

02-22-2008, 08:17 AM

I've been there twice.. And.. Dont even know that people can take a great pics in that angle.. :D
And aishiteru is right.. Maybe you're the only one who have DA here..

i wish i can take those type of pictures
btw, Singapore currently having a major makeover especially in the Downtown
there will be lots and lots of attractions !!
^ it's because the singapore government is serious about tourism and all..
everybody knows singapore is one of the bestest destination in the world for holiday or just to do some shopping..the fact.. tourism is the best aspect they can improve. They don't have spacious land with tropical nature resources like we do, they don't have mines, but they are great economically...genious gov..not like ours :rasp:
not to mention the casino which is in progress and to be completed in the year of 2009 or even earlier than that..it will attract even more and more tourists..
and don't forget about the F1 event..
GoSh !! who said country with no circuit can't be the host for F1event..singapore proves them wrong..imagine all those sport cars racing in the middle of the town..you can even watch it from your apartment's window.. :excited:
i salute singapore's government..esp. for their efforts in improving tourism..
@nasya: i live in Malang. haha small city near to Surabaya. Do you go to international school? or government one?
seems like now everyone loves photography huh? i often see lots of people bring big cameras.. not only in Malang but also in other cities. whew..

looking at spore's government which is totally different from indo. but what can we expect ?!?!?!
our government people corrupt too much..it doesn't mean that they can't think any new ideas to develop the countries. just they spent too much money on something that at the end we can't see / use for our own benefits.
aina: go to see F1?!?!?! i'd love to go...maybe we can arrange our trip for F1 in coming september?
yes yes today's jay will hold concert in msia...am so excited. aina u felt the atmosphere before leh...yet still excited :oops:

aina: F1!!! But Sept isn't holiday, there's no way I can go there... T__T
Nevermind, I'll ask my friends who live there to take me some photos.. =D
Catherine: I go to International School.. And the school fee is like WHAT??!! That's why I go back to regular (but not government school) school for the High School..
no lah, i'm not going to singapore just to attent the F1 event..i'm not a fan of car racing or any automotive-related stuffs..though i work at a vehicle lubricants company
aishiteru i dunno..guess that i'm over obsessed with Jay..the feeling is still there and it's just don't wanna go away
i still jump around like crazy everytime yang guan zhai nan is played *only if i'm alone in my room*
aishiteru i dunno..guess that i'm over obsessed with Jay..the feeling is still there and it's just don't wanna go away

@aina
yeah i dunno if im gonna be back permanently cos new semester starts next week! this is my last week in jakarta and i still have lots of stuffs to do...
so i finally bought my lumix.. i finally bought FX 12... 1 level under FX 33, i suppose.. FX 12 comes with poorer LCD screen and without face recognition.. i just bought it today, so i havent understood all of the features... i think instead of taking 0% credit, i suggest u should take BM ones... if you use it properly, i think there wont be too much problem...
and btw i SO agree with you with tourism. at first i was so excited with Visit Indonesia Year 2008... but now.. with electricity cutting, flood, banning of cap go meh festival................. OMG i think the govt didnt make enough preparation before launching the program...!!! im so embarassed with our govt.. we have the best beaches and mountains.. dont get me started on this!!!!
have a great weekend guys!

^ actually Julie, sendy, friends were there!!
the photographer (galaxy crew) just simply no idea how to use digicam..CRAP !
he/she (i bet 'he') just cut off some of those fans faces... :shifty: not only our indo fellows but also some of myjaysian friends.
luckily it's not Jay who he cut off..otherwise, fans will hunt him later and KILL HIM !
cant he just move backward so all those fans can be captured or something?
silly crew..
heard that galaxy crews are not so nice..

@aina, how can the galaxy person do that.. Poor them.. Cant prove that they already have a pic with jay. Maybe someone should teach him how to use digicam first. I cant imagine if that happen to me..
I'll ask jay to take another pic maybe.. :excited: Just jay&me.. :brows:
Ever watch F1? I really want to know how its feel. Racing is an interesting sports.

02-25-2008, 04:54 PM
The photographer is ding dang i guess, it's HER, a fat girl who also appeared at Kung Fu Dunk who said something like "I'm your/his fans" like that.
have no power to post.. i'll report later, maybe tomorrow nite.
and btw sorry for my date mistake, i was so confuse that time and in hurry. :D gomene. homesick too :D
lynie
02-26-2008, 02:23 AM
The photographer is her? The one who said "I'm your fans" in kungfu dunk? The fat one? Is it?
dont have to gomene lah.. Sometimes that happens to me also.. Like when I'm at Spore, I dont even remember what day is the day.. Haha..
Just read all the report from JayIndo.. :excited:
So funny leh.. About the banner.. "Ni yin"
I really want to look at jay's expression.. He must be very cute..
yukiko
02-26-2008, 05:56 AM
^ that's what Sendy told me. But i think it's her. I look at her and seems like it's really her.
He's always looked cute when talking.
so how are you guys? I see that you are talking about photography, singapore, what else?
Singapore is a great country but WITHOUT good food. I spend so much money to buy food but can't eat it all up. it's really has no taste. Malaysia has a better cuisine. We always order teh tarik when eating. :D
lynie
02-26-2008, 06:20 AM
Ow.. Still 'ngakak' everytime i think about 'ni yin' :D
Its really her? Hmm.. How can she got a chance to act in KFD.. Weird..
We miss you so much leh.. We talk about spore's great tourism, indo's poor tourism, encon's talent, & everyone feel excited about jay concert.. :excited:
Spore food? Not bad lah.. Still can eat. But cant compare with Indo.. :shifty:
Teh tarik? Never taste it before leh.. Actually i'm kinda afraid to taste it.. :shy:
Talking about food.. The worse food I ever eat is at Langkawi..
Alot of Indian stay there.. Thats why, the food always contains Indian curry.
Spore food is very delicious if we compare it with Langkawi's. :glug:
Ever go to Langkawi?
she's not ding dang lah..ding dang is no longer jay's assistant..it's Da Nu
if you guys watched the concert DVD or if you watched the concert live, remember the part when a video being played with Yu Hao in it, he acted as Jay's villain and said why Da Nu always near Jay or something like that..it's Da Nu..no more ding dang
but ding dang is cuttte...i wonder why does jay always choose a "plus" size lady to be his assistant.. :hmm:
and why are you guys mad for?
you guys should be happy lah to know some of our indo friends finally managed to take pictures with Jay..at least now Jay knows he got fans in Ni Yin...oops soory i mean 'Yin Ni'...
yukiko
02-26-2008, 03:02 PM
so it's Da Nu. huhuhu i never knew that jay already change his assistant.
'big' size lady? i wonder that jay just don't want to create new rumors that he is having relationship with his assistant. that's not so good. so he's prevent himself.. maybe...
I only went to Singapore and KL city last week.
the only average food in SG is hainanese chicken rice. but i can't eat the chicken. i can't eat broiler chicken. so .. er, i don't know. i just can't eat it. too disgusting for me. so i change the chicken to charsiu.
even if i was starving, i only can order french fries in KFC and MC Donalds. I once had burger king, but the taste is also different with Indonesia's Burger King.

Do you still remember the old ads of Sprite Ice? I like the guy, he's hot and sexy :D
And the old ads of lays, there are 5 guys who lining up holding 'lays'. The front 2 guys are handsome, but the rest behind them are... er... Average..?
aina: Jay should know that he has a LOOOOOOTTTT of fans from Indo *crying*
Honestly I don't get what you guys are talking about. Is it about Jay's concert in KL? Or the stupid photographer? Fanatic fans? Or what?
yukiko
02-26-2008, 03:45 PM
^ yeah.. he has lot, but not much of them would like to support Jay's original album. what an irony. i believe it's one of the main factor that jay hasn't visit Indonesia until now.
yes, it's about the KL concert, the photographer and my trip. :D
hi ann
nice to meet you there :D

overall the concert was amazing...two thumbs up for jay...or maybe 4 (plus my toes) hahahha :brows:
spore has lots of varieties of foods. i prefer to eat those noodle soups. Julie, did u try their noodle soup with wonton etc? that's nice...i know that u like to eat noodle as well so u better try..
Nasya: u're right Alan Luo's mandarin name is Xiao Zhu...watched the ads again yesterday morning before going to work..:brows:

yeaa even if jay isnt here for a tour, that'll still be cool. id still go to the place he's goin to. haha.
yess his fans are everywhere. my sister and her friends in australia love him and they all want him to go there too. actually, the first time i heard of his songs was in australia!!
there was a poll? but he ddnt come?? awww too bad. if he doesnt come here, then i shall go to taiwan! ahaha.
Nancy Pu Gong Ying De Yue Ding is included in the DVD, maybe you mean is Qing Hua Ci...
Julie and friends are lucky enough to hear Jay sings that song Live, coz he sang that song in Malaysia concert..
Yenni okay, wrong pin yin..whatever..
i heard it pronounce like nu ~ girl..
and welcome natalie
i don't even know who is ding dang.. and Da Ni, the new assistant is also taken role in Niu Zai Hén Mang as that short-hair big size girl. i did watch some videos from youtube, it was jay in a tv show, he is so cute and made jokes about Da Ni.

nancy, the taste of Singaporean's food doesn't fit my taste. I just can eat it. it tasted weird for me. they have no taste actually. I prefer Javanese food with sambal terasi. :D
foxy, I also know not all thing about jay. ^^ But i try to update my self as much as i can.
don't worry, we won't judge you. as long as you support Jay's original album, we will always welcome you. :D

Hello Natalie, welcoma to this thread.
@yukiko, Indo food is the best.. i always love to eat Nasi Padang. Haha...
Singapore&Malaysia's food not very fit in my tongue.. Like.. Hmm.. Not enough salt. :shy:
But I eat the fish ball noodle once.. Its great leh.. The fish ball are yummy.. And the most unexpected is... They put enough salt in the soup.. :excited:
@foxy, i dont even know about Da Ni also, until she appear in Niu Zai Hen Mang.. Haha.. Then, watch Xiao Zhong interviewing Jay.. He introduce Da Ni to Xiao Zhong also. About Ding Dang, I only heard her name. Never know her face.. Haha..
U want to go to taiwan? Hmm.. I want it also.. But my pocket cant afford it ar.. All I can is only Msia or Spore.. Bcause from Medan, I dont have to pay for the fiscal to entering Msia.. Haha..:D
@aina, yup.. They are so lucky.. I never heard Jay sing Qing Hua Ci live.. Maybe bcause the lyric is so difficult.. Haha.. But he sang it in Msia concert.. Ow...

i have a very very bad flu these past few days until I didnt have mood to do anything =.=
so where are we now? Foods?
@yukiko I'm ok with Singapore food though guess i'm used to it  but IMO their taste is rather bland when u compare to Indo foods !!
yingyi
02-28-2008, 03:45 AM
wow i envy ppl who live in medan and batam... i always think that fiscal regulation is just for the sake of making the govt richer.. but now i have resident permit in china, i can go abroad 4 times without fiscal a year.
honestly, i hold myself not to peek at any spoiler of malaysia's concert cos im going to watch the beijing one.. =) but since i dont have any companion from the forum, i dont think i will be hunting him.. im gonna just watch him and scream my lungs out... XD
fooooood... oh i love indonesian food! sometimes thats the one that makes me homesick.. more than my parents or my friends! haha...... beijing has only 1 indonesian restaurant... pretty authentic and the food they serve can represent most of indonesian food.. like rendang, sate ayam, soto ayam, etc... my boyfriend liked sate ayam and sayur asem! haha.. indonesian food is the best food in the world!!!!
@foxy
ow, her name is astrid.... she's 20 this year.. do you know her?

Aina yes u're right. i made a mistake..short term memory lost..why did i have to mention qing hua ci and next to it blue and white porcelain?!?!
also i don't see any closing ceremony from the dvd. from his incomparable concert, before closing he introduced all of the band members etc. this new concert just suddenly all the names appeared. i was like................................. :nocommen:
Julie: maybe u should try more on their local foods..in indo 'sambal terasi' we can eat with rice and it tastes yummy...plus grilled chicken :bleh: ouchhh am hungry now..
well have another education fair tonight..perhaps till 10 pm..am gonna be tired. these couple of days, i feel like i need more sleep. even my alarm rang at 6 am but i woke up at 6.30 am
Yenny: for me those kind of noodle soup taste great..almost ate the same menu everyday when i was in spore...my mom looked at me with that kind of weird and confused face :rasp:
welcome natalie
Julie..yeah..i feel the same way too.
When i was having my vacation in SG back in October 07..i didn't go gaga over the food. Maybe i'm not that 'experienced' enough about the food in Singapore.
Fidya said the seafood at Lao Pa Sat is worthed to try coz it's so damn good.
I went to Lao Pa Sat, but i didn't see any seafood place, so i just ate you know what "Ayam Penyet"
but when i was done eating and wanted to buy drink..SH*T..so there was the seafood place..roadside with big umbrellas, just like starbucks..
sigh..but then again, i don't think i will eat that though..coz it's pretty expensive and i was on tight budget.. LOL
------------
Fidya also told me that there's one very delicious Kwetiau goreng at Geylang district..i forgot the number of the Lor..
i didn't go there..since the transportation in geylang is quite difficult to understand and i was afraid i will mislead to the prostitution district
------------
Heard from Keljin that IKEA's chickenwing is very yummy...
grace even got addicted to it..
i didn't know about it when i was there.. *unlucky*
-----------
that's all i know...
next time, if i go to sg, i'll definitely try that chickenwing..
yukiko
02-28-2008, 09:01 AM
I try Ikea's meat ball.
actually i want to try swedish meat ball, but the uncle give me spaghetti meat ball.
My friend said that meat ball serve with some sauce and delicious. but that damn uncle heard wrong. so i eat the meat ball without that special sauce. the meat ball itself is good.
do you tried prawn noodle in the food court across from Marina? i think it's the best one they have there, but still taste-less for me.
here's my cuisine travel there :
1. Hainanese chiken rice + charsiu ---> i don't eat the chicken, i only eat the charsiu. ^^
2. spaghetti meat ball ---> i can't eat up all the spaghetti, but i finished my meat ball. :D
3. a bowl of Yong Tau Foo ---> i have 7 pieces, but i only eat each half of it. and i throw away the rest
4. mie soto *melayu food* ---> quite good, even it's tasteless, but i still can afford it.
5. burger king ---> i can finish it. ^^
6. KFC french fries ---> eat it up all. :D
7. Pork noodle --> still can afford to eat it up, but the portion is too big for me, so i only eat up the pork and left the noodle.
8. chicken noodle ---> i only can finish half.
9. yuka no yuki ---> it's like Yuraku, but the meat is too hard to chew. the soup is also not good lah.
what else? i only remember i didn't finish almost all my meal there. only eat half and throw them away.
when i went to Ikea, i saw so many people eat that chicken wing too. curious, but i can't imagine myself eat that big chicken.

Welcome Natalie!
I'm Nasya, and I'm also a fan of Ungu. Their song Waktu Yang Dinanti is one of my fav song :D
Don't worry Catherine, I also don't know if Jay has change his assistant..
Nancy: We're stick to ads with hot guy..
It's been long time ago since I visit SG,I'd forgot all the food. But last time when I visit Japan, I remember my friends keep me eating sashimi (squid only, my bro and friends eat the salmon). And we have sashimi for 3 days (lunch and dinner) after that I've never eat sashimi until now...
And I tried sake there, the sake tape isn't nice at all. It's really bitter (don't know the correct vocab), it seems just like plain water. But another sake which colour is like red wine is nice. It makes me feel warm..

i can't online the whole day yesterday..my office use speedy and the internet connection for international was broken down due to the fiber optic in Sumatra broke down.
i think that fiber optic connects java and sumatra internet connection. so we could only open national websites :wacko:
today, everything is back to normal...
Julie: what do u use for the internet connection?!?! ahaaaa got another list from u...don't worry i might get another recommendation from my colleague in spore. my cousin said that the best hainanese chicken rice located in lucky plaza....
have u got ur cd + dvd package?!?! just wondering whether Kung Fu Dunk ost is including in the cd?!?!?!?!
Nasya: :bleh: of course...sometimes too tired watching sinetron and just waiting for the ads..:brows:

This thread seems a little bit quiet now...
Julie: I think Catherine is busy study for Try Out..
The government will give Try Out the next Monday..
Nancy: yeah, but now there're only few ads with hot guy..
I miss Sprite Ice ads..
i need all of you guys to give me the bestest luck for tomorrow !!
julie..i'm in the process of the GET program..u know that right?
good news is, i managed to pass the first cut..
from 140 people, now there're only 70+ people who will compete to fill in 14+ spots..
geez..you know what..the test is all about engineering..
like..electronica..
"if we have xxx miliampheres of this and there's yyy megaohms of that..how big the voltage bla bla bla"
physics !!!! BAH..i don't like physics..
and for the computer test..it's in C language..OH MY GOD..i got that subject on my 1st semester and it was 5 years ago leee..^^;;
wonder how could i passed the 1st cut.
guess that Jay's songs being played at that time helped my brain to at least think a lil bit harder...
(For those who didn't know..when i was doing my first test, someone played Jay's songs through the campus radio..lol..since it's Sunday and noone knows there was a test being held there)
and i was like :excited:
Ting Ma Ma De Hua, Tian Tian De, Qian Li Zhi Wai..even Zhou Da Xia eee...
and that one in Fearless EP..xian shi...?
bet that person is also Jay's maniac..oohh..wilber pan's bu de bu ai was also played  )
tomorrow (sunday), i will do another test (in english)..and another interview (also in english, and this time i will be interviewed directly by the japanese people).
Each candidate will be interviewed for about 15 minutes..and that's kinda creepy.. :glug:
i will have my test at 9:00..and the interview will be at 16:00
I NEED LOTS OF LUCK !!!
so guys..wish me luck..

u mean this test to get internship in Japan rite?
wrekzzzz...the first cut test was quite hard coz lots of questions on physics...
good luck for Aina..praying hard and cross ur finger for the second test and interview tomorrow..
believe me sometimes songs will help us in thinking..i sat for one seminar and when he gave us one task to do it, he always counting down using music. like he played two minutes song and u must finish up when the song ended...it also depends on the person as well. some of people can't even thinking while listening to a song...their brain just suddenly stop working :?
Nasya: i also never seen sprite's ads anymore and it has been cut to be shorter...:worry: really don't like it...

Ah yeah.. that international internet line was down.
I use Quasar, it's from XL but indirectly, Quasar use XL line/cyber optic, but Quasar and XL are different company. from the 1st time i used it until now, i feel quite satisfied. there's up and down. but they act so fast. the longest time i can't online is just few hours. and they keep updating me if there's a maintenance even it's the unscheduled one.
congratulation aina
about the un-paid 1 year training, how do you deal with it? you can still work right?
you need to save more, aina to prepare everything you would need for your new life in Japan. it would cost a lot. you need to prepare 4 seasons clothings. my lecture said that japanese usually change their clothing as each seasons change. it's not need to do like them, but at least you need to buy winter clothes that usually are expensive.
i really hope and wish you will be accepted then i have place to stay when i went there for a holiday. ahaha... you'll be in Tokyo, right?
about your interview, you have to be more careful, the Japanese's english is kinda hard for us to hear. it's harder than listen to Singlish. let's pray that they can speak english well. :D
and for that jay's songs.. it's kinda funny. but it was relax for you, rite?
if it were me, i might be just being busy with myself singing along with the song and will forget the test paper.
so tomorrow by 16.10, I'll text you to ask the result
wish you the Bestest and Greatest Luck
I've bought the DVD+CD in KL, have unsealed the package, but haven't find good chance to enjoy it. But i've bought the pirates one about 1 month ago. i've watched it, ^___^ it has Chou Da Xia MV inside.
Chou Da Xia song also in the CD list. :D
have you bought one copy?
^ if i got accepted, i already have something in mind of what to do to at least earn some money per month.
I just can't survive with the "uang makan" worth IDR 20,000/day for almost 1 year
Still in blur though..
Let's see how it goes lah....
i'm so damn nervous..
i've just called BNLC (binus language center), i already got my TOEFL score.
umm..it's not bad actually..exceeded the standard score of 500
but my goal was actually to get above 550..while in fact, i only got 527..
it surpassed the GET's requirement though (500)
but still...the goal was at least 550..
i promised to myself to get new bag if i reached that goal..okay..no new bags..!
yukiko
03-02-2008, 05:26 PM
So how's the result aina?
sorry i couldn't sms-ed you, I'm run out of pulse. and i can't top up it too, there's some problem with XL since last few days. T___T
and what's up with others?
the result will be announced next week..
*crossing fingers*
the interview was okay lah..
only 2 interviewers but only 1 of them can speak english..
so, after i answer his question, he then translate in into japanese language and told his partner..
standard question like "describe your family","your strength point","you weakness point", and all
i can understand what he said luckily..
but when he asked me about my GPA..i was like
Aina : "Sorry..What?"
Interviewer : "GPA"
Aina : "GPA?" *confused*
Interviewer : your score
Aina : "aaahhh..."
 felt so stupid, I KNOW WHAT GPA IS btw, but i wasn't very concentrated..i thought he was asking about some software or somethin..we use the term IPK instead lar..lol.. i'm not used with the term GPA..
but it's my bad..
when he asked me about my toefl score..
i answered 527
he said "your english sounds much better than your TOEFL score"
i was like  --> in the outside
but :excited: :bounce: --> in the inside..
the interview went pretty well.
but the test was errr...damn hard
so, i don't know...let's just wait, pray and see...
----
ohh..after that, i went to TA..when i was there, the interviewer called me..and i was shocked :glug:
he asked about my religion..which he already asked earlier, but maybe his partner forgot to take a note of it.
but then i was thinking..does that really matter for japanese people? religion? until they have to re-confirmed it again by phone..?
any idea, Julie?

They'll announced it next week? Hmm.. Lets hoping together.. Hope aina will have it..
I thought only yukiko can speak japanese here.. Hehe..:excited:

@Aishiteru, i'm agree with you.
I dont have internet in my home either. Bcause i was afraid. If I really have internet, then i'll spend all of my time in front of the compi. Dont want to.
My eyes minus 200 now. What if its increasing.. Whew.. Dont wanna think about it leh..
I'm sorry, but what is GPA? Kinda stupid in english abbreviation. :shy:
aishiteru : yeap,me too! i can't have the internet connection since friday... speedy is broken. but luckily, it is okay now.
i used to play in 'warnet',it was so tiring, everytime i have to type assignments i have to go to warnet, but since my brother went home last year so i am able to use his laptop for browsing.. i have used speedy for 2 months. still fine lah, fast and cheap. but many people say that it will go worse as time goes by..
don't have any idea. let's see
my eyes are minus 400 leh. it's genetic, though.i used spectacles since i was just 6 years old. all of my cousins from my father's side wear spectacles.
my school didn't take Try Out, Nasya. we will but not in the same date as other government school. due to preparation for UN, i have mathematics test every monday, chemistry every wednesday and physics every thursday. also biology once in 2 weeks every tuesday. it will become so tired with other subject tests..
ehm, i noticed Rejoice ads too. it's Xiao Zhu. looking good there
congratulations aina have read about your internship and all. maybe they asked you about your religion to take it as pertimbangan?
anywayy... what is lmao? haha is that an expression of cool or what? don't really understand.
Julie, did you buy cd+dvd of his world tour concert? i want to buy that also. but since i read all reviews about his dvd and cd's quality, i'm not sure it will be worthed it. so confused
it's not internship lah, friends..
it's working...like real work..pretty difficult to explain..
btw, i gotta go to dentist..wanna check my teeth..

hi guys... long time never chat with you all. I use speedy as well and yes couple days ago I can't online and when I ask 147 the operator said the connection is down until 11 pm. yeah, after I have internet at home I spend most of my time in front of computer. at first I register with 1 G free but because of WG, I spend 750 thousand rupiah on my bill which is equal to no limit type of register. darnn... after that I cut down my connection and I can stay to 1 G and only pay the abodemen but yesterday I change it to 3 G free :bleh:
aina, you want to work in japan? wow... it's really nice if you can get one. so I can ask you about japan sometimes if I want to go to japan. only if I already have money hehehe... oh ya, my brother did that test as well and only pass the first test and my brother is top ten on his high school but didn't pass the next test.... poor him.... I think the test is really hard. o well... it's so so long ago.... it's on 1995 :D cos he didn't pass the test then he enter ITB on bandung.
ohh... and GPA stands for Grade Point Average. I don't know about Indonesia but overseas they use GPA and count it by credits. american, aussie and london have different type to count credits. but in america there is tutorial and lecture class. you must attend both class. lecture is teaching base on text book while tutorial is assignment and paper work. if you pass the class, you get 3 credits. if you take biology, chemistry or physics and you have laboratorium class, you get 4 credits. last time I must complete 120 credits, same as 40 subjects.
aiyahh... I just broke... I just bought 4 cloths (1 short jeans, 1 short black pants, 1 lagging and 1 cloth) hixxx.... I think I'm not the type of person who can save money and put it into bank.... I am an active customer of bank but active only for withdraw money and not saving money lol....

I decide to have internet connection in my own room is that i have no more time to go to cyber cafe before or after work. beside that, i don't work in office which mean i don't go online when working. i online online at night after work or if i'm off from tutoring such as public holiday. ^^ and sometime before tutoring if i wake up earlier. :D
about the religion in Japan, i don't know they care much about religion, especially with Buddhism or Christian (for both catholic or protestan). as i know, usually, each Japanese (refer to people) have more than 1 religion in their life time. which mean like this, when you were born, your parents will celebrate it in Buddhism way, you go to temple, praying to Buddha, etc, but you also can have a wedding ceremony in church. and when you died, you can have Shinto ceremony. i'm talking about 3 religion here, Buddha, Christian and their national religion Shinto.
it's so common if they have 2 or more religion.

just give a break for your eyes leh...mine is also minus 100 for left eye and right one is 0.75..the optometrist asked me to use glasses coz i can't see things which are far away. in the office i need to be able to read one white board that records all the shipment schedule...it is not funny if i need to monitor the shipment with my colleague and i can't read properly
 i understand what aina said :wink2: u went to dentist to get your other requirement of medical report?
how about the salary? some say that the salary in japan is not that big..but its another experience right? along with time if the company recognise your capabilities so they might increase your salary :worry:
GPA is Grade Point Average and it is the same as IPK...still have no idea how to calculate
ncon: better take many vitamin to keep you fit after bad flu. it is due to weather as well. here now almost everyday is raining...and mostly in the afternoon. just pray no flooding
nancy no lah..not for medical report..just for regular check..
i'm very concerned with my teeth i can say...
i know how to calculate IPK...
each subject has credits right?
like..for example :
English : 2 credits
Math : 4 credits
total : 6 credits
then for the grades :
A --> 4 pts
B --> 3 pts
C --> 2 pts
D --> 1 pts
E --> failed
if you got A for English --> 2 (credits) x 4 (grade)= 8
B for Math --> 4 (credits) x 3 (grade)= 12
total = 20
then your IPK is => 20 / 6 = 3.33 (out of 4.0)
if you got B for English --> 2 x 3 = 6
A for Math --> 4 x 4 = 16
total = 22
then your IPK is => 22 / 6 = 3.66 (out of 4.0)
oohh..for those who asked...NOPE..i can't speak japanese..i don't even know the characters...if i got accepted, there will be training for japanese language..

@aina, about the IPK, it written in my uni certificate leh.. Doesnt it written in yours?
I've learn japanese for one term in uni.. But still dont get it.. The grammar so difficult..
@aishiteru, I'm also very delighted if i can go abroad to learn languages.. But think about the money i'll spend.. Then how can I earn money?
Everytime I think about this, my aim shrunk immediately..
@encon, Must take alot of vit C.. You've wrote about having cold since 2weeks ago.. That must be a very bad cold.. :worry:
Just like aishiteru said, its raining almost everyday.. In the night, i dont have to open aircon, its cold enough liao.. Must take good care of our body leh.. :wink2:

@lynie it is really bad bad flu =.= probably the worst i ever had and guess what ? I made an appointment with the doctor and they told me I had to wait for 2-3weeks -________-"!

@encon, wait for 2-3weeks? What for?
Remember to have lots lots of vit C. It always helpful if i got cold.
Kinda remind me to Medan's hospital.. RS Pirngadi.. Big cases happens there..
People in Medan say "If you are not sick, and you go there, you'll be sick. But if you already sick when you entered there, you'll die" :D Kinda funny to think about it..
And the last news, theres a doctor left a cotton in a patient throat. :glug:

nancy, the salary working in japan is totally high. even you just do a part time job there such like work in supermarket, you can pay all your living bill by your self. include house, meal, shopping etc. all by yourself.
most of the college student there (japanese and korean) live separately from their parents. they usually decided to live alone after finishing their high school. they can rent an apartment, pay for all the bill, having meal by their own salary and all.
you can't say it's not a high salary lah. it's totally different with Indonesia.
can you live all by yourself with a part time job salary here? i'm sure you can't
we must do a full time or even over time job here to be able to pay all our bill and living fee by ourselves.
Study hard Play hard, nasya
for my medical, i can say i'm pretty healthy. it's so rare to see me sick. but my bf at least sick once every one or 2 month. he has six for so many times, but i still stay so healthy. i never been to hospital too
aishiteru
03-05-2008, 04:23 AM
Julie: hmm some people say yes but some people say no..it has pro and con.
i've one japanese friend. she's an english teacher in one high school in osaka. i never asked about her salary but from what i know it's high. maybe the job itself is pretty rare in japan and the school can pay u higher.
but she said that the living cost in japan is totally high..she'd rather spend her money by traveling overseas. one i couldn't thinking of is she went all the way to sydney just for a Hermes or LV bag?!?!?!
for such branded thing in japan, the product in aussie is really really cheap. she said that she can't afford that product
overall, from my opinion it depends on your job position and whether it is needed in Japan or not :-)
Nasya: be calm..if u too stressed that what u've been studying will come out zero. u can't think properly anymore..just relax.. believe me if u had studied and u trust urself that u can do it, it will be easy for u....okay?

so your point is not about the salary is high or not..
what i was saying is, "even you only do a part time job there, you still can live and pay all your bill by your own" it's for part time job, you can imagine if you do a full time job...
i never mention that it's enough for traveling inside Japan. I know clearly that it's need more money, so Japanese would prefer to travel overseas. i knew that.
for the branded, i also know that everything in Japan is expensive, i ever heard that even a normal skirt would cost you mio-s rupiah.
but if you are only talking about salary for living, it would be more than enough if you work as full time officer job as aina would do if she could make it to the final. and she can still spend some for saving, let's say she work there for 2 years, she can bring back sum of money which is enough to buy an apartment or house in Jakarta.
but if you are talking about salary for shopping branded things, travelling in Japan or buy a house there, i think it's always never enough for any elses country.
Japanese pay for a house in their life time. they usually start to credit a house when they are married, and they pay it even until they have grand children.
and my friends worked in Japan for 6 months as a waitress in a restaurant, from that, she can pay all her college fee for 4 years study in Binus. just for a comparison.
about the living in Australia, the living fee is quite small from what you get as your salary, isnt it? people told me that, i don't know too
and what i mean high, is only for Indonesian, not for other nationality. ^^
encon, can't you find another doctor or hospital maybe? is it the system like that there?
just FYI, my friend's bf study there, and he do a part time job as tukang sampah in his college, he can buy a LV bag in Japan for his gf... tukang sampah buy a LV bag? seriously... he even ask my friend (who is his gf) to go to Japan this april for a vacation and he will pay it all for her. imagine what can you buy there, aina.. if you are a white collar there... and work in IT.. you can dream for now, and make it real next year...

@ncon, not make sense leh. The doctor is nuts.. People will dying just waiting for the doctor. Bleh.. Go and find another doctor if your cold doesnt get well in this few days.
@yukiko, salary @japan is high.. I heard that before.
One of my friend's mom go there last year. She work there for about 1year as a pembantu.
And now she is back. Just bought a car for my friend. And I can see that her live change alot. She can wear branded liao..
Before went to jpn, she always wear what she bought at pasar loak.
Kinda amazing..
I'm started to imagining it now.. How aina will change if she really got the job. and come back to Indo again next year.

Lynie, i said it's high too, but nancy have a different point as us. lolz...
if you got chance to work abroad, just take it. any kind of job, i'm sure you'll get a better salary and it would be enough for you to save some for a better future.
btw salary in each province in Japan also is different. Tokyo give you the highest salary, but the living fee also cost the most. ^^
good for you nasya
i remember that my high school time was not that hard. i even never learn for exam... even for the final test a.k.a UAS

she will be so kawaii.... lol....
but I think Japan life is so stressful. you can see the people there are so competing.
lynie
03-06-2008, 03:37 AM
@yukiko, maybe because nancy's friend is a japanese. If she compare her salary with tokyo's living cost, maybe you can called it enough only. But if you count it with Rupiah.. Wow...
Just like when you meet a tourist who are coming from England.. When you saw them buying stuff.. Its like.. They dont using money to buy that..
Actually I'm understand.
Meaning, one clothes in Medan maybe cost 20K. If they compare it with pounds, it only 1pounds.. Maybe they cant find anything cheaper than that it their country..
1yen in japan maybe cost nothing.. But 1yen in Rupiah.. Cost things..
@centong, You can imagine that also? Aina become cuter.. Wear branded always.. Haha..
Japan lfe maybe stressful.. Their technology is higher than any other country..
One day you bought a cellphone, and next week, that cellphone dont cost a thing liao.. Because, its not uptodate.. Hueh.. Very tiring..
@nasya, congratz.. You've passed it..
I remember my high school also.. Its not that hard.. Never learn for exam also.. Just like yukiko said.. Haha..
Kinda feel sad for kids now.. When i'm still at school, planets only 9, now..
Politic party only 3, now... Feel sorry for them.. Hehe..
@aina, about the IPK, it written in my uni certificate leh.. Doesnt it written in yours?
sorry but i don't get it..what are you refering to?
it's nancy who doesn't know how to calculate, not me..
btw, about the salary..from the info i got from the first batch, it's +/- JPY 200,000 (multiply by 80+ if u wanna convert it into IDR)
after deducted by fees, taxes and all (including meals), they still have about JPY 100,000++ --> depends on how wise they spend the money..
based on that rough calculation, they say they can save IDR 7 million per month..
about the stress level, my friend (who got accepted on the first batch and now working at Fuji Film corp) said her job is verrrryyy relaxed..even she got sleepy sometimes
the hardest part was actually the 1 year training in Indo..after that..after you reached Japan, it's all fine and good..
yeah, i heard that houses in Japan are sold with 60 years credit..
and i heard that the 2nd-hand cars are inexpensive..
Gyaaa..4 more days.. (*_*)

Jul, i got ur points..i also know that living cost in japan is very high.
i don't talking salary for branded things and buy a house in japan..coz it will cost much..japanese people who can buy a brand new car must be very rich ones..
it's referring back to the person on how wise she/he spends his/her money. if u thinking to bring sum money back to ur country after so many years working then it will be lots of money.
in australia, the living fee is quite small. work as part-timer and have some savings, they could buy a second hand car like one of my friends.

why are you guys asking me who's the b* anyway?
it's not one of you if it's important to know..
IMO, geisha isn't a b*...
well, actually it depends on the context..
to me, the word b* is more appropriate to use for people who is super duper annoying and irritating..like the one i talked about earlier.
i think geisha is another profesion in japan. do you know that to become a geisha, they have to go through series of training and all..like you can watch on the movie memoir of a geisha..

I still remember that story because I was so in love with Takeshi and Kyoko after watching it. I love the story, we can learn a moral story by it. Since that dorama, I always try to get more moral story in each film/serial i watch.
FYI, Geisha is an artist. They must learn about how to move, dance, speak, sing, play music instrument and all. they even have to learn about how to move their *lengan kimono* to looked sweet and sexy when they pour tea in the cup for the customer.
Geisha is not a sexual worker, do you guys know about mizuage*? It's the geisha give their virginity to a man who would like to pay all her bills after that until death separate them away, the man also should give her the best kimonos from time to time.
their job is only to entertain by singing, playing music instrument, dancing or pouring tea. no more than that.
I know much about geisha if you would like to know. it's the hot topic to observe and presentation when i was in college some years back. before becoming geisha, they become Maiko first, such like a geisha's assistant.
**Literally mizuage is from "mizu" which means water, and "age" (ageru) which means to give
there's less geisha nowadays...
btw, do you guys know that a kimono cost much? the better the quality, the higher the price. that's why japanese only have yukata(looks like kimono, but with less layer) this days.
thanks for letting me learn one more thing today "que sera sera", i never knew the meaning before. :d
que sera sera, aina
lynie
03-11-2008, 03:35 AM
@yukiko, I know about mizuage and maiko from memoirs of a geisha's novel.. Just know the meaning of mizu and age. Thanks for teaching liao.. :D
As I remember, they give their virginity to the person who can pay much.. But not for their entire life. Only for the first time. And for whole lifetime geisha, there's another name for it. Forget liao. Must read the book again.
There is a bid also. The highest win. And later if there is someone who can pay more to their momma, they moved to that person place. Isnt it?
Hmm.. I know that kimono cost much.. But dunno the actual price.. Do you know it?
I know about que sera sera from a korean dorama.. The title is 'que sera sera' then the translation say 'whatever will be will be' Since that time, i know the meaning of it. Haha..
lynie,,que sera sera..that korean dramas with Eric Mun in it right?
i bought the DVD (coz it has ERIC MUN, the droolicious shinhwa personel), but after watching the 1st episode, i didn't continue..*sigh* such a waste..

@Aishiteru, theres no matter if the guy already have family. The guy can bought another house for the geisha and he keep visiting every day. You can say that geisha is kinda 'simpanan'. I heard japanese people said that geisha is somekind like "very high class b*"
I love Keigo also.. Ow.. He is so handsome there. I saw it on indosiar. Because that time, all my friends are falling in love with this dorama. They recommended it. I watch it and fall in love with that dorama plus Takeshi. Haha..

Lynie, i mean the geisha only do the sexual things with the man who pay for it. she still can entertain others.
the kimono? maybe around mio-s yen.
I was not excited waiting for Jay's concert... until the day. I even can't believe I would traveled that far to watch a concert.
about the film of "memoirs of geisha", they did a lot mistakes about the cultural things. My friend did the research for her thesis.

@yukiko, Yeah.. Geisha only do that things with the man who pay for it. But if theres someone can pay more, she moved. Is it?
I never imagine that i'm travelling that far to watch a concent either. Make my pocket really dying now..
My preorder of jay concert merchandise just arrived yesterday.. They are so cute.. I love the necklace.. So exclusive.. Hp strap also.. Love the package box.
@shadow_whiteknight, which girl eyes? The one who acted as lead actress? Actually i dont like the movie.. They cut alot of the important things.
And "que" is read as "ki".
@aina, not going to a holiday.. Dont have leave allocation and money liao. I've spend to many for jay's concert.
Crossing finger now.. Maybe they'll call you today.
aishiteru
03-12-2008, 04:20 AM
Lynie: where did u order the merchandise from?!?!
enjoy it! be another collection of yours :D
aina: same here...yesterday the clock was very slow.. i finished my lunch by 1pm and sat in front of my computers like ages but when i saw the clock it was around 2pm..geezz  my friend felt the same too. she said that maybe due to the weather??? hahaha so weird..i don't think it has any relation between those two.
talking about easter holiday..my office closes from thursday - saturday. resume back to office on monday..personally i don't have any plans for holiday. actually my cousin asked me to go to spore..haven't made up any decision yet.
yukiko: ic...so the guy only goes after the geisha for sexual thing. and the guy will pay for everything.
like what Lynie said, the geisha might be looking someone else who can pay higher to her...ckckckckc...what a world!!

@aishiteru, I ordered it at the concert venue. When I reach the venue, the queue for merchan already 10meters. So when come to my turn, they said "i'm sorry. But all stuff has been finished. But you can preorder. And collect the stuff next month" So i preorder it.
My friend's aunt just carried that stuff from spore last night. So i went to her house and pick up all of that. Ow... They are so cute leh.. Make me feel worth to spend 200sgd on it. :D
My office closed from thursday to saturday also. But still no plan going anywhere. Theres Sam Lee's concert at Brastagi 20March. I'm still considering. Dunno will going or not.
Sam lee is coming to Brastagi ??
As far as i know, Sam Lee is a good singer..
i don't know how he looks like though..haha..i just know some of his songs and it's good..
How i wish Miki Holiday is based in Jakarta
at least they focus on inviting asian artist..
lynie
03-12-2008, 05:55 AM
@aina, yep.. He's going to mikie holiday.
So glad that mikie's location is Brastagi. Only 2 hours from Medan.
They really focus on inviting asian artist.. Every year they invited 3-4 artist.
I dont know his face either. All I know is he has a good voice. And I love some of his song. His new album quite ok also.
After sam lee, there will be JJLin 17 August.

He's wearing a cap, I guess he don't want anyone to annoy him...
And I'm regret for not having photo with him T__T
lynie: yeah.. The leading actress,I love her eyes..

aina: hope u'll get another chance which is better...how long have u been working with this current company?!?!
is miki holiday like Javamusikindo?!?! maybe need someone like Javamusikindo which is more capable to invite asian artists to come to indo. javamusikindo is quite good, they invited so many western artists like good charlotte. and next coming in is bjork..i don't like bjork...she looks strange for me.
lynie: how much is the tix for sam lee's concert?!?!?! go and see the concert lah if u have nothing to do :brows::rolleyes:
lynie
03-13-2008, 09:39 AM
@shadow_whiteknight, must wait till august if you wanna watch jjlin. And maybe i'll go too.. I love his song. :-)
@aina, dont be sad.. There's always another chance. And maybe the next one will be better.
@aishiteru, I dont know what is Javamusikindo???? Sorry..:glug:
Mikie Holiday is a hotel. And they have a theatre. So they always invited artist to have a concert there. Not only asian, there's indonesian and malaysian also.
The tix for sam lee concert? From 250K-1000K.
Usually I take the standing one. Just infront of the stage. More worthy than the VIP one. And it only cost 350K for this Sam Lee's concert.
I'm still considering. because this time, no one accompany me to go there. Maybe if i found someone who want to watch sam lee.. I'll go. :brows:
Till now, the tix still available. Dont have to worry.
Not like 2years ago. 5566 concert. The tix are selling so quickly. maybe because that time, 5566 is the first 'very famous' asian artist's that mikie invited. So all people really curious.. :D
Talking bout 5566, when i went to their concert at mikie holiday, i took standing one ticket. And have a chance to hold hand with zax, when zax, sam, jason are sitting just infront of the line. Wuih.. They face are so smooth from close leh.. And that time, the ticket only 250K.. So cheap huh..
Last year I went to fahrenheit concert. Mikie also. And took the standing one. 350K. But worth lah.. They are so handsome.. :brows:

Plus it's not a long holiday, it's only Indonesia's independent day..
Holiday is coming.. Long weekend...
Nancy bjork was here already...^^;; the concert is already over..
she's here about 3 weeks ago..
before backstreetboys came..
javamusikindo even invited incubus already...about last week..
i've been here (at current company) for almost 2 years (this april would be 2 years)..i missssssed IT world to be honest...i missed programming...!!! i'm sick of excel..

u know lah i reached home almost at 7pm..and all tv stations show those 'sinetron' no more gossips or entertainment news..unless u switch to E!
i heard that incubus is going to Spore but i don't know the schedule..backstreet boys were in town?!?! i knew they had a world tour concert and they went to melb. that's what i heard from cindy.
aina, 2 yrs is already quite long..my colleague downstairs already 4 yrs and i think she gets sick already with her work..but sometimes she even thinks that it will take some time to look for a new job
i only work for 1 yr but u know the work is like 'serabutan' i do the marketing while my colleagues are away for a biz trip and i also do the documentation record for shipments and contracts :glug::cry:
:brows: omg..it's weekend already..i might going out tonite with my cousin. will have a cup of coffee :D

03-14-2008, 07:35 PM
I think I'm the only one not updated with news, but you are worse than me. lolz.
javamusikindo is the biggest event organizer base in Jakarta, Lynie. but i think they only inviting western artist, not the eastern one. wondering why?!?!?
I get home later than you, nancy. on 9 or later. but i always try to watch night news or check out in detik or any where. or blog walking. there's lot of hot topics the bloger write.
aiyaa...there was a lot of advertising for BSB concert lah guys..
billboards (jakarta only of course..as far as i know)
newspapers..
even on TV..
they promoted the Buy 1 Get 2 tickets if purchased using BCA credit card..
and metro TV aired some of their performances on Showbiz news several days after the concert..
JJ lin is coming to medan next ?? ohmy...
I like JJ's songs...but i don't know if i'm excited to watch him in concert live..
well, unless i got free ticket..hahahahaha

Julie: oh really? what time u start doing the tuition? is it always up that late? it must be really really tired...
at nite i seldom get online...i don't want to switch on my compie at home.
i just heard the latest gossip about evan sanders. they found him taken picture with a Caucasian. and everybody starts thinking is he a gay?!?!?! i told my friend, and the next morning when she arrived at office, the first website that she opened was detikhot.com :excited:
yes, just wondering why there is no like javamusikindo for eastern artists? maybe we can start up one?!?! the investment is pretty big :glug:
omg..i heard that my boss will going to apply me in joining JRP... i can't act like lady lahhhhh....:rasp::whistle:
JRP ? as in John Robert Power??that 'personality-changing' program?
euhhh..i don't want to enroll to that kind of institution..
they said it can change you to be someone better..in fact..they should've said "we can change your personality"
and to me..changing personality means change the way you are..
and it's not always good...to me, it's not good.
you will be 'shaped' by the mean of people who thinks they know everything and know what's best..but actually they don't realize that everyone is different..
yukiko
03-15-2008, 06:09 PM
aina, you are so fast, i was thinking about the JRP nancy mentioned and you already told that is john robert power.
my tuition end at around 8, but after that i'm going for dinner with my bf, and get home around 9 or more.
the gossip about evan is gay actually already up when he won the MTV vj contest. I've heard about him since that time.
aina, I watched that BSB's concert clip, and i think it's not HOT enough. T___T
there's event organizer for eastern artist, like mikie holiday, sands and some nesia thingy.. but they are not profesional
shadow_whiteknight
03-16-2008, 10:59 AM
Yesterday I just watch BSB at Music Station and it's satisfied me enough.. I'm rather go to JJ's concert than BSB..
JRP? I don't know much about it..
But I disagree with their method.. It's kind of, they thik good women are woman with qualified personality. Which is only from their perspective..
yukiko
03-16-2008, 04:38 PM
But as woman, i think we also should know something that they teach in JRP, like dining manner, how to walk with your proud but not to looked arrogant. How to have a manner for a good public speaking. actually they provide good subject, but it's just how the student practice in their life.
I won't go for any other concert, I'm really broken, T___T even if i have, i prefer go to stalk jay in his next concert. ^^
what Julie said is right..about it's a plus if we know the table manner and such..
but again, it depends on the needs..
for me, it's most likely i will not be in circle of socialite environment...ever..and i don't even have a reason to take courses like that..who cares about how i eat, how i sit, how i walk?
job interviewers?
again..depends on what job you're applying for..
for programmers...or any IT related fields, don't think they need one-line-walking-style girl with perfect table manner like what a secretary for CEO or PA to Director needs..
lynie
03-17-2008, 03:54 AM
@Yukiko, am I that worst? :shy: Hmm.. Seldom watch TV leh. And never updated about Jkt condition. Hehe..
I dont even know that BSB in town.. :shy:
Dont even know that there is javamusikindo. :D Same like Nexia or mikie right? But with different target. Western and asian.
@aina, free ticket? Hard to effort. Maybe i'm going to jj's concert. because its only @brastagi. No need to travel so far..
For other artist, I always bought the cheapest one. Not excited to buy more than that. But for jay, I bought the most expensive. :bleh:
JRP? Yup... They teach how to walk, eat, speak, etc..
I follow one of the program. Table manner. Aiyo.. At last, I dont really know what i'm doing. End up with nothing, only a certificate. :glug:
aishiteru
03-17-2008, 06:38 AM
i agree with aina
it depends on our own personality. if we think we want to change to act like a lady then it would be benefit for us.
but if someone ask u to join and u don't put any heart on it, at the end it is useless. my cousin joined jrp a couple of years before because her parents asked her to join. she had nothing to do at that time and while waiting for her letters of approval from school. now she still can't act like a lady...maybe one lesson is she can do a make up by her own. but still her personality and act like table manner, how she speaks, still the same :excited::oops:
it takes ages to change someone personality...just not by a click someone will change
i also don't like someone 'shaped' my personality and ask me to do this and that..i can't stand for it!!!! i like to do what i want..and i can rate everything i do. i think since u're mature and u know how to position urself in environment, then it's okay.
JRP is not cheap leh...
Yukiko: i am looking forward to catch his upcoming concert...wanna go wanna go...:wink2:
yukiko
03-17-2008, 06:25 PM
Yup, i agree with you all that JRP can't and better not change our personality, but at least if we learn something they teach, we can act properly depending on our partner/client. like talking, you can talk freely with any kind of body language to your friend, but when you talk to your client, bos, or maybe parents in law (no necessary), you can put a properly body language.
talking about body language, i ever heard it's the best to test whether they like us or not, just ask them to go for eat (dining or lunch is okay), if they act the same as us, e.g they drink when we drink, etc, they in-directly tell you that 'yeah, i'm in love with you' not have to be love, it just like "i like you" code
some like body language.
one of my friend, he's a man, yeah man, go for JRP classes and i heard that he is a magazines model. maybe he was, it's about 3-4 years ago. don't know now.
btw, I want to learn something, I'm looking for Mandarin or English class. Or maybe Korean later. and maybe will take Japanese to for preparing the JLPT. I want the 2nd level certificate. It can provide me a good living if i had it, if you had 2nd level JLPT certificate, you can earn more than 7-8mios a month for a beginner. wondering how much they earn after 2 years working.

i learned one lesson from my marketing seminar about body language. it is called "NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programmes"..it's like mirroring yourself with the opponents during conversation.
such as when you attend a meeting with prospective client, u can mirror urself with what u're prospective client maybe the way he speaks or how he sits while talking. by doing almost the same then he can think u're really enjoying the conversation. it will run smoothly and he can also think that u're like him. he will tend to open himself for you. it's quite complex though...i saw the book especially about NLP..
my team will do weekly group meeting. each person will get one article each week and we must do a short summary. then it will be submitted before 12 noon on monday. if there is a delay, there will be a penalty Rp.50,000 :cry: i don't think that my weekend will be fun anymore
 eva..welcome to indo thread!! feel free to elaborate with other members here...
hi eva..welcome to indo thread ^^
nice to have more new indo fellows here..
where do u live?
ummm...actually i don't really care about body language..^^;;
i don't pay attention to others body languages..
it's just the matter of if the topic being discussed is interesting or not..
i don't think i can fake my body language..
pretend to like or interested in something which bored me..umm..sorry..i can't
and of course, people can also do the same thing towards me..if they don't have interest in me, don't act like they 'liked' me..
but again..^ that thing above is required in business scope.. :shifty:
all fakers and liars..

Great to have more member here. ^-^
and btw, I'm Julie, I'm from Jakarta
You are from Batam? Then did you go to Jay's last concert held at Singapore or Malaysia?
Your name is familiar to me... do you join any others Jay's forum beside JCnet?
We're talking about Johnny Robert Power course, and it leads to pro and contra. You can read it for further information. I can't describe it well for you. If you don't interested, you may bring up another topic to discuss anyway.. ^^
You are in a bad mood with outsider, Aina?!?! *I can feel it when you are angry or not with your words*
Faker or Liar, I think it's better for us to know anything, whole things maybe. so we can have a self defense if we have KNOWLEDGE, it not must always be a school subject. any simple things in this world, i would like to know.
I heard about that too, Nancy. I'm not specially go to a seminar, I heard it from some one. My friend ever recommended me to read some book about body language when you are having a conversation with others. But I never really read it, only open for some pages, and I was so bored that time. *I hate reading*

yes aina..in business scope that kind of things are important.
by the way, personally i also don't like to be a sales people. they can act nice in front of their prospective clients and they can hide and run when it comes to a position where they have to be responsible for something. for sales people position, the HRD from one company usually looking for a candidate which has a good looking and it is not fair. i think knowledge and capability of that candidate will be in the second rank to consider
i experienced that before.

So, there's a shuttle bus from Medan to Berastagi? How much does it cost? I never know this before. The last time i went there is when i was 2nd year in high school which is 7-8 years back. so old time.
didn't you go to visit Bandung when you was here in Jakarta few times ago? Usually if people from Sumatra or Kalimantan visit Jakarta, they will also visit Bandung. it's so close. only 2 hours via Cipularang highway. I've not been there for long time too. the last time i went there is when Energy have a showcase in Bandung, it might be 5 years ago.
Mi Rica2? Oh so nice that you offer me a help. :D thanks. I really appreciate it.
Let's see, I might be go with my BF's colleague. He often go to Bandung once a month. so i might will have him as our guide. :D thanks anyway.

hmm.. i just read news about Kenji Wu made a song about our Jay. he said that he was accused that he copied Jay's style. and he wrote a song about Jay. here is the lyric i found in other fan site
An excerpt from the lyrics of "My Biography"
Composed and written by: Kenji Wu
I released my first album at 21 years old
It was called "Not Discovered All Along"
Everyone really didn't discover it
Everyone discovered a Lun
He's called Jay Chou, I slowly sink
Only me left listening to "Nun-Chuks"
Only thing to do next is to go act and film idol dramas
Lets see if I can make a comeback
I really only want to sing songs for you to listen to
Afterwards Rap comes after General's Command
Suddenly someone says I copied
The saying success will attract attention is not unreasonable
Damn song style can be copied too?
If that song deters you
I think you definitely won't be happy with this song
I only want to say sorry, do a salute, do a fart
Stink you to death because this song's not really rap
I can only consider it's a chant
arggh! i don't like him. why he is so rude? who is someone? jay?
yingyi

i didnt really realise the lyrics before you pointed that out.... well, i dont think he meant that... that 'someone' probably isnt jay because jay's name has already mentioned earlier... maybe he's kinda jealous of jay's popularity and another 'someone' accused him of copying jay... so he's not blaming jay (except for that jay is more successful than him) hehe...
kenji is the type of a singer who likes to sing about another ppl... in this song he also mentions Lollipop (bang bang tang)...
apart from all of those... i like his 'wei ni xie shi' (write poems for you). my bf likes him a lot... so im kinda affected hehe
anyway, random thing....
i always thought that aishiteru=monic. and i just realised that monic=archimedes, not aishiteru :P

Mind to add me at fs?
Here's my e-mail: shin-seijuro@hotmail.com
Catherine: I've add you too ^^
My school is having a mid semester holiday for a week, hahaha...
I'm so happy, but my hatest teacher give a 40numbers physics HW -___-
It's just a multiple choice, but he wants us to EXPLAIN every number of it. I wonder if it's now have a difference with 40numbers of essay...
I don't even know who's Kenji Wu...
I'm rather pathetic I guess...

@Nancy
i've approved..hehe..thanks ya..what is your work anyway?
@Julie
No problem at all..love to help others ^^ anyway when you come to something good in Bandung, tell me ya..i'm new here myself..
@foxy
i've added you..please approve ^^ and your name is ...??
i agree with yingyi..whether he rude or not it depends on that "someone" thing..hehe..if it refers to Jay, then yes i admit that he's rude..
if it refer to someone else, then it is not a problem i think..he just tell everyone his emotion by song, just like every song writers do..
well..i think it's not a bad idea if we just wait for the song's background released..so we will know what he mean back there :D
@shadow
hey...thanks a lot friend..can i know how can i call you?
i think we have something in common..our school!!
if you've seen my profile, you can tell i'm from IPEKA Sunter..it's just i'm in older batch hehe ^^
that's so nice to have a holiday...i'm not..exam in 28 *sob* next friday..
well 40 is not a big number i think..the problem is the subject..i'm weak at physics..
i passed with my UAS physic score at 4.25 back then..haha..but my teachers make it to be 4.75 for me passing the 4.5 line..seeing my other subjects scored well, so they think i slipped and helped me out hehe :D
nasya: ya i've already accepted it. thanks!
zerua: i'm catherine.. nice to meet you =)
wuowowowow...i saw new names in here.

Aina, I'll left it to you. ^^ 65 posts to go. You must come here more often. ^^
Yingyi, thanks for the inviting. I think I couldn't go there soon. not in this 2 years maybe. I want to go to Shanghai and Hong Kong. Have you been there? my cousins just back from Beijing, they studied there too. They became prettier, does it have something to do with Beijing? haha.
yea, i've registered there. i've open the site yesterday, but still feel not comfy at all.
Long weekend and I'm spending my days on bed. I love sleeping so much. *but still got the eye bags*
anyway, need some advise here. I want to do something with my hair. what do you guys think?
smoothing or bonding? I actually prefer smoothing
I've asked to a saloon yesterday, i said i want smoothing, but then she said like this "you have dyed your hair before, right? It gonna be more difficult to have a good result with smoothing, i suggest you to bonding"
I don't like the result of the hair bonding at first time. it looks strange.
so any one experience this before?
pha^pie: i want to join jay2u.. hmpp.. but i can't register since my computer doesn't have mandarin installation..i have to copy all the register form to ms word then send through my mobile phone then ask my mother to translate it.. *sigh..

pha pie : i'm not mad, but to respect JCnet, maybe you can use PM to teach foxy. not here. :D
why not comfy? it's not neat there like here.
meanwhile, i can only make friend with local Indonesian there which i can also do in my own forum, but in jcnet, i can have friend with peoples from around the world. that's the plus point of Jcnet. only one from a million.
for last, i don't want anyone mention about that name and topic anymore here.
change topic
anyone will join this Easter Theme week (http://jay-chou.net/forums/showthread.php?t=277446)?
Aina, seems like you move your blog back to FS?
how about make a community for our blog? I also think that it's no need for me to write a blog if no one read it, *actually there is, but no feedback from them*
I so envy people with the blog community, they reply each other, tags each other. it's so fun. how?
Yingyi, Katherine, pha, do you guys write a blog?

@julie
yea ive been there.. 3 of them are great. but there are lots of places in china that are so fabulous that so little foreigner know about.. im in the process of exploring them... i wanna make a good use of my time here.... frankly speaking, BJ SH n HK are more or less like jakarta. shopping mall, traffic... id rather go to a nice and comfy place with beaches or mountains...
beijing's weather is very dry so if you dont take good care of your skin, it'll become very very dry.. and i'm the one who dont really care about my skin.. ehehe... so i only use lotion if my skin bleeds when it touches my nail (literally. scary uh). BUT since its so dry then i dont easily get acnes here.... i dont either when im in indo... anddddd especially during winter, we wrap our body with 3 or more layers soooo our skin become soooo fair... =) maybe thats the most logical explanation bout the relationship of beijing and becoming pretty hehe.. but its most likely that everybody will get fatter in beijing!!!!!!
anyway, i had several blogs. now i do too (like the most serious one.. hehe) but i seldom update it.... cos im busy with school and excul activities.... gosh, compared with SMA days, im like sooooooooooooooo much busier now.... so guys, if you're still in SMA, enjoy it. cos SMA is definetely the bestest time in one's life. when you're mature enough to enjoy this life and not too mature to deal with the hardship of this life~
cindy i want to go to ZJG !! -> you know what this abbreviation stands for, right? other than the said-to-be breathtaking sceneries, i want to see the mountains...le shan, emeishan...i want to see the giant budha..!!
but it's sooo damn expensive... T__T
eva don't even make me start to tell you why, okay..?
it's a long story that i don't want to discuss anymore.
too bad you weren't here at that time.. :wink2:

Btw, only English is allowed here.
I'm Julie from Jakarta.
yeah i heard that the weather there is not really as friendly as Tropical country's. :D
btw, my cousins become slimmer. really. she was kinda fat before, but she is slimmer now.
what is ZJG, Aina?
yingyi
03-24-2008, 02:42 AM
@Aina
oh, you mean Jiu Zhai Gou? Then it's JZG.. hehe i thought you were talking about Zhong Guan Cun (ZGC)... do you know what is it? it is a place in beijing like mangga dua mall where people sell gadgets.... and its far bigger than m2m.... there are like 5 buildings with 5-6 floors each selling mp4, digicam, laptop, and tons and tons of things... it's china's silicon valley.. hehe
btw the pinyin z,j,c,zh,ch are confusing... im still often confused even now...
anyway, back to jiu zhai gou... arghhhhhh when my parents came to beijing to accompany in 2006... they went to jzg and i was in beijing.. becos i thought i had to do some registration or stuffs.. arghhh and i didnt go with them... huhuhu.... and it turned out that i did nothing in beijing :(
then i saw their pics and it was soooo beautiful! they went in september... the best timing to go there.... =)

Hmm.. Not login for 4days.. And this thread already moving 4pages.. So fast
@aishiteru, About the concert.. I;ve ask my friend already..
But they say "these days? Want me to drive to brastagi? Dont want it..
The road is kinda like "sundel bolong" Alot of big hole in the bend of road."
@yukiko, the bus from medan-brastagi is provided by miie holiday. Only have buses when they held a concert.
For a usual day. If you want to go to brastagi. The best is find someone to drive you there. There's also 'angkot'. But trust me.. You wont prefer those 'angkot' because usually they also bring alot of chicken (so smelly), and the car is fully loaded (There's 2-3people hanging on the door).
I dont visit Bandung last time. Only at Jakarta.
I know it close. But last visit, no one can accompany me. My cousins are so busy with his work. :(
@shadow whiteknight, you can call me Yenni. I just add your FS.
@yingyi, I'm also confused with pinyin z,zh,c,ch,s,sh.. Really stuck in there..
cindy oh yeah..sorry my bad..JZG...bloody pinyin
argghhh september??? maybe next year we will have Idul Fitri Holiday on September..
why is that? because i only have my 10 days off on idul fitri holiday...yep, no annual leaves here...
but again, who says i will still be working here next year?? <-- okay, that's a bad grammar..
pardon for asking and answering myself... bad influence from boyfriend..

ahhh finally get back to work today. i was off for 4 days :bleh: and took time for relax and rest at home
i don't know why in the past few days i felt like not feeling well. i take vitamin c for almost all day..maybe it is too tired?
i missed 3 pages since the last day i logged in. u guys talking about traveling to China? i also want to go...Korea is also nice but it is quite expensive though...
does anyone join the games? i didn't participate this time..
:glug: i can't log in to my msn from computer at home. my msn is the latest version, but i still can log through windows messenger :shifty:
Dennis: already added you into my FS list...
lynie: add me...my email is nenk_nonk@hotmail.com. i was browsing ur FS the other day and then can't add u in...

haha come to china!!! but i heard that its gonna be very hard to get tourist visa this summer because of the olympic games... i (think i) am accepted as a volunteer but still i havent got the formal acceptance letter from them.....
i want to go to korea also... cos i love korean food and i wanna taste the most authentic korean kimchi and other foods....!!! and i wanna go especially to jeju island. i heard it has the nickname of 'hawaii of asia'... woohoo.. i love beaches!!!!
edit**
a tip for you to differenciate z,zh, and stuffs
in this matter, i dont recommend you to watch taiwanese drama.. because their pronunciation is sometimes incorrect.. like their z and zh are sometimes sooo similar... and many people mock mainland's pronunciation by rolling their tongue.. but actually thats the correct way to pronounce.. if you have chinese teacher from mainland in indonesia, also make sure that he/she is from northern part of china... well im not saying people from southern china/taiwan all have poor pronunciation, but beijing's dialect is the standard pronunciation of mandarin chinese..
and that also applies for you who are confused with zhe and zhi. zi and ze and so on...

hey yo ppl =p
just come back from my spring break holiday :D thus i'm not online in the past few days !!
julie i forgot to reply your question about blogging..aiyo, i don't have readers as well lar..
when i had my old FS blog, well...some friends and some strangers gave comments..that's good enough..but since i moved to blogspot...only you and JoJo commented me..and it's only once or twice..
haha..
but it's not the main reason why i moved again to FS blog lahh..it's because i'm too lazy to maintain... ^^;;
and lazy to login to 2 different sites..so..yeah..that's why.
If you want your blog to be read by others and commented...umm..first step is..you have to comment on others' blog as well..
that way, they will have the interest to click on your blog link..
or if you have some specific topic to discuss about..like maybe you are a pro in graphics or something..you dedicated your blog for that one particular topic..
you know there's a lot of people who use their blogs to share knowledges..
share skins, template if they love design
share poems, stories if they love to write...
share codes, crack if they are computer freaks..
something like that..
you know mayzhee?
http://mayzhee.blogspot.com
used to be KANR..she already published 2 books in malaysia and her blogs have a LOT of readers, coz she's considered to be 'controversial' at her age..
as you can read on her blog..her entries are just not typical teenage girl would write..it's deeper and if english is not your first language, you need to read it slowly and don't forget to have the dictionary on your hand... coz mayzhee has her own thesaurus book..
so..if you want your blog to be famous...i can give you a suggestion..
make a blog about dissing artists....
you can learn how to do that with those EG-indo fans
yingyi
03-24-2008, 11:17 AM
oh i know her, she used to be a (or still a) mod of jaychoustudio... her screen name was charmed_1009? right? have you ever read her book, aina? i know she's very briliant... and she was sooooooooo obsessed with jay... that time when i knew her, i liked writing (stories) too.... she gave us that link and i didnt pay much attention.. she was still active when she published her first book... ahaha and by the way, she was a HUGE jolin hater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
btw, what did EG indo fans do???
hehe, if you want to be famous instantly, make a scandal like edison chan.... or be one of his sexy pics girl!!! haha
ok lets not talk about him! P
pha^pie : thanks, i've already registered at that site. i found keljin's translation, and it helped me a lot.
aina : i found you in FS but couldn't add you as my friend, cause i don't know either your last name or you e-mail..
yingyi : hi cindy. i'm going to study at Suzhou. have you ever been there yet? what is it like? i'm a bit afraid though. cause i've never been there yet and i can't imagine what Suzhou is like.
Yingyi, Katherine, pha, do you guys write a blog?
err..julie, is that Katherine refered to me? hehe i have blog in FS, but don't update it so often.. as i don't have any idea what to write..
yukiko
03-24-2008, 08:17 PM
I know mayzhee. actually i only read her blog. i feel she's kinda arrogant. lol.
i like to blogwalking (or maybe spying is a better word for it) too. yeah i'm so busybody.
Katherine, do we have another friend name Katherine here? yups i mean you. :D happy that i finally can remember your name.
and if you want to invite me to read your blog, i will happily go for it. :D
EG indo's fans post some bad comments about another artist copy-ing other artist,
e.g 1 They said that Jay copy EG's title album called Final Fantasy for his Still Fantasy
in fact, We all knew why jay title his album Still Fantasy, right? they said Jay copycat EG. fuh... jay actually already have a FANTASY album long time before even EG exist
Nancy, drink more mineral water. I believe that water can help us to take care our health. If we drink more than we pee more. so the bad things in our body also get out along with the pee.
Wangsa welcome back
Yingyi, I'm so familiar with your banner. it's already more than 2 years since Aina gave you? Or almost 2 year...isn't it?
ah i want to go to Jeju island too. You know, most of Korean Drama took shooting there. what a nice way to introduce their tourism spot. you can go with your boyfriend... ^^

@aishiteru, already add you..
@ncon, welcome back.. Nice to have you here again..
Kinda blur right now? I feel the same also when i'm not online for several days. Dont worry.. You'll get used of it soon.
@yukiko, those EG fans make me dont like EG even more right now.
How can they say something like that. I've visited their forum.. About jay's on the run calendar.. About other artist.. Hmmph..

03-25-2008, 03:27 AM
You can always bring up new topic if there're something you want to discuss. anything. just feel free.
Lynie : i try to register but maybe the admininstrator still remember my email that i'm a big fans of jay chou. so up until now, she haven't proceed my account. sigh..
julie mayzhee is actually a nice girl..it's just she is waaaayy more matured than most girls at her age. What you read on her blog is who she is..she's very outspoken and don't care of what others will think. That's why if you care to read the comments on each entry, she got somekind of 'anti-mayzhee' group..
but again, she also has a lot of supporters...
her blog can be so damn famous coz malaysia has a lot of (teenage) bloggers..by that i mean, (very) active bloggers..
cindy yeah, she's charmed_1009
she's actually co-founder of MyJaysian..if i'm not mistaken..but later on, she got busy and now only dionn and devonn who manage that FC..
and nope, i havent read her book, i asked Sendy (kimamura) once to get a copy for me when he was in malaysia back then, but he didn't find it.
I guess the book is only available at particular book store..i'm not sure though...
and about EG indo fans..they dissed LOT of artists..they accussed other artists being copycat....and EG is not... blah..everybody knows one of EG song copied JTL's Enter the dragon.
and they even dissed Jay for showing 3 fingers (middle finger, index finger and thumbs) in mots of his pics...coz they said it's EG's style.
DOH...did they patent that? Hell NO !!!
okay...better stop here... ^^;; my blood is now boiling..
aishiteru

Julie: ya drink lots of water..thanks for your advice :-)
same as Julie, i also like to blogwalking ^-^...long time ago i decided to have one blog but it ended up nothing. i started lazy to post anything and the first page like hell...get bored easily once i was setting up the layout :cry:
hi Wangsa: a bit blur also with the topic that we're talking now.
what is EG stands for?? :worry:
Cindy: which school that you enter in beijing? BLCU?? some of my friends went to this school for mandarin class. and mostly in shanghai they will go to SISU. i think these 2 schools are very popular for some indonesian students..
aina: went through your blog last time..it is okay..u need to update with more stories :D
ouchhh have a meeting with my prospective client at 10 A.M :rasp:

aaaw.. Suzhou.. a beautiful place.. well i've never been there before, but i heard that it's beautiful and the weather's nice... and it's very close to shanghai, nanjing, and hangzhou. when are you going to go to suzhou?? maybe we can meet up sometimes... somewhere.. who knows?? hehehe
@Aina
eeew... so childish and unnecessary fangirlism.. so gak penting... lets not talk about them. keke
@Julie
the only korean drama ive ever watched is 'my name is kim sam soon..' it's old, i know, but i watched it like 2 months ago... hahaha... i watched it because my bf thinks i look like samsoon and we share similar personality.... what???????? and after watching it, i feel kinda like that too... but arent all girls like samsoon?? she's very simple and she could represent girl's desire to be happy and loved.... she's my hero!!! haha... but not all girls are as lucky as her, dont you think so?? and btw yea they filmed in jeju too... my bf has never been to jeju either... haha...
@Aishiteru
EG=energy. taiwanese boyband. a very typical boyband... started with 5 pretty faced guys and now only 4 left and 1 of them is new. o.O
I'm not in BLCU, I'm in CUC... dont worry, even indonesians in beijing dont know my school. haha.. my school is kind of in rural area. very far from BLCU... and only 20 indonesians here.. =) but now many indonesians go to BNU instead of BLCU

umm..not bad...somehow reminds me of Jay..but not that similar..only in some parts..
gotta download his previous albums..many said it's good and not disappointing at all..so, i'm kinda curious..even more, he sounds kinda 'anti-Jay'..so i wanna find out more.. then decide whether he's talented or just talking rubbish :shifty:

ouw so u're not from BLCU. but it has another positive point to choose one school where not many indonesian students there so u can really use ur time to practice mandarin even better. one of my friend graduated from SISU and she told me that most of students are indonesians and they are from either Surabaya or Jakarta...
aina: yes yes..i read ur blog. i clicked from your FS. u have any other?!?! so pls to update it if you have time..ur story about someone that really made u angry and u connected with one of jay's song...lol like that  haven't given a comment...will do if i have time ok?
am quite :realmad: with one buyer. yesterday they confirmed the order and today they sent me an email saying that their third buyer is looking for best price and lower? common it really pissed me off..even my boss is angry coz we are awaiting for their purchase order for the whole day and at the end i didn't receive any copies..just a single line sentence saying VERY SORRY :ranting: feel s like :chair:

I haven't watched Kim Sam Soon. Is it really good? Need to find it at Mangdu first. or maybe i'll just rent it from the rental i used to rent.
I used to watched lot of Korean Drama. That time i was so into Korean. I rather prefer Korean than Mandarin. I'm now also still prefer Korean though.
Let's see what I've watched :
- sad love story
- stairway to heaven (both are Kwon Sang Woo.. I love his abs, i want to catch up his newest drama titled Bad Love)
- Summer scent
- that rain and hye gyo.. that stupid useless drama
- endless love
- hotelier
- something butterfly... (that dancer, the star is the personil of Fly to The Sky)
Oh.. forget leh...
I could spend my night time to watched drama until my mom wake up and even already serve breakfast, i was still watching. fuh...
I just finishing Romantic Princess. Damn Wu Zun is a real HOT guy. I love him most in dark gray shirt. George is awesome too. He looks like Jimmy Lim from the left side. I love his smile especially. so cute. Calvin is not bad. But the left one is the most annoying one. I hate his face.
Angela? Perfect Boney Skinny girl. How can she be that skinny?
I wish my grand father had half of what the Huang Thing's has. ^___^
You know what Nancy? I hate selling and I also hate the person who do selling. such like sales, MLM members and all. Especially the saloon owner. They will like say anything to make you purchase their stuffs. (and most of their words are LIE). I don't referring to you. it's only my point. :D
If someone want to sell something for me, don't tell me too much good points or else i will think that you are lying. So just tell me the truth. If it has not so good point, tell me. I will appreciate it as a truth. and I might buy it because you are sincere.
cindy i saw how he looks like yesterday...ekkk..to be honest, i don't like his appearance..i don't really like boldly-squarish-face guy, until u can see the jaw's bone..coz it looks weird to me..
i have squarish face too..that i don't really like
nancy you are responsible for purchasing things too???
well, purchasing is a job which required a veeeerrryyy patience people..
they have to be able to work under-pressure..coz they will have to deal with a lot of people, negotiating and all..and that's hard..
that's why purchasing people got high salary... :wink2:
so, if any of you guys are assigned to be purchaser...ask for high salary..don't hesitate..!!
julie actually J-dorama is more interesting thatn K-dramas..really..i'm not lying..
J-doramas got the quality..they don't endure the story like round and round and round liek K-dramas do...that's why they only got several episodes for each dramas..
and not to mention the manga-adapted dramas..like 'liar game'..GOSH, it's sssooo good.
the romance dramas are also good..
Proposal daisakusen is a nice one..
Dragon Sakura is a funny one..
even the original Hana Yori dango is much better than Meteor Garden.. :wink2:
but i havent' watched any new doramas lately..the last dorama i watched was hmmm..probably Liar Game..back in 2007

dennis: Yea.. Physics is the worst subject for me too. I hate the subject and I hate the teachers, haha..
My first Try Out marks are kinda good. But I hate government for the english one. They can't make a good questions.. And their answers are just.. *sigh* so stupid. I wonder why they still make english for UAN.. They're shameless..
I only got 66 for science (contain Bio and physics).. T__T
Btw you can call me Nasya
Julie: I've smoothed my hair last month..
I also prefer smoothing, coz if you choose bonding, you can't change your hair style when you wanna go to a party.
I'm lost here..
Anyone've watched My Boss My Hero?
It's so funny.. =D

@yukiko, i like george too.. He's so cute. Looks like jimmy? Hmm.. A little.. And wu zun is really hot there.. And Angela.. o__O She's too thin.. If there's a small storm coming.. She'd be flown..
@aina, i watch k and j-dorama.. Just like you said.. K-drama's plot always round and round.. Not like J-dorama.
I've watch Proposal daisakusen too.. What a nice dorama.. So cute..
Hana yori dango is better than meteor garden. Just like hana kimi j-version is better than hana kimi taiwan version.

:whoops: i love to watch dramas esp. k-drama and also j-drama...but recently i am so addicted into k-drama and mandarin series..
the last j-drama that i watched is 1 litre of tears and didn't finish it coz the dvd that i bought seemed like no related between the episodes...made me real mad at that time.. the most important thing is i watch dramas that show many handsome guyz  so don't get bored easily with the story
my cousin just bought Bull Fighting last week. she said that it's nice..later will borrow from her so no need to buy. am broke this month
Julie: i also don't really like marketing type of job. since i joined this company i found that the job is quite interesting. the product is a commodity so no need to talk lots of nonsense and persuade people like those salesman in the mall. if the prospective clients need it so they will contact us..otherwise their factories may not running properly. most of them use our product as raw materials..
aina: yes i am responsible for marketing as well...:glug: u're rite need lots of patience. but sometimes they are pushing u around geez like hell!!! my heart almost stop beating once the phone rang and they ask for prompt action or any documents to be ready by next day :rasp:

@aishiteru, i love K-drama also.. Love those cute and handsome actors. But will love it more if the plot not round and round like that.
I agree with you.. Love to watch drama with alot of handsome guys.. If the story getting bored.. At least, i still can watch their handsome looks.. :shy:
I've watch bull fighting.. Alot of people say it nice.. But according to me.. At first it's nice.. But become boring at the end.
I've watch 1litre of tears too.. What a touching story.. Cant believe that it really a true story.

@lynie and aishiteru
yeah adaptation in progress now x]!
@lynie
probably the 1st Japanese Drama that i watched till finish is 1 LITRE of tears! It is also the 1st drama that almost make me cry (well i didnt cry at last) !!!! it is really really touching!!! I really admired by the Girl's detemination to live on

i dont like the feeling of getting attached to the drama so i cant do anything. literally. thats the main reason why i dont watch dramas.
who likes korean movie here? not serial, but movie... like my sassy girl and stuffs?? nah, i download like MOST of them and i still have 3-4 movie i downloaded 2 months ago but havent watched it til now. i dont like too extreme ones. like TOO funny or TOO sad or TOO scary. korean movie is great in combining those feelings together.... but the bad thing is, it is so hard for me to remember the movie title. even the english one. so i dont know what to recommend....
aahhh..Korean movies...i would highly recommend "A moment to remember"
GOD, it's a soooo good...touchy..
story about a girl who suffers for Alzheimer..okay, might sound typical..sick girl, but trust me..this one is sooooo good..it's a movie anyway.
the bestes K-movies so far are Windstruck, A moment to remember and Tae guk gi...
Last korean movie i watched was my tutor friend II..it's an okay one.
i dont' really like it, but it's kinda funny..even my brother laughed like crazy when he watched that..haha.. (fyi, my brother has good sense for movies and musics)
ohhh..the male character is kinda cute ^^

Aina, yup. I love J-dorama too. There are lots of moral story you can learn from watching.
The last dorama I watched is ju yon sai no haha (the 14 years mother).
The story is a bout a 14 years old girl get pregnant. it's a bad thing right?
but you can learn more about life from this dorama.
and the other 1 I learn from is a dorama starred that guy from Beach Boy, that Onizuka teacher guy. In this dorama his role is a father from so many children (4 or 5, i don't remember). I saw the sequel in my idol, but i didn't buy it. It's a so touching dorama. I cry a lot when watching.
I watch daisakusen too (you recommend peoples to watch it, remember?)
but hell... my last disc is broken. so i haven't finished it yet.
ichi ritoru no namida? yeah i watched this too, and felt so touched with her personality
actually i watched lots of dorama. and i love their OST too. I remember i could sing most of the famous OST, but i have no more idea how to sing it now.
K-movie? hohoho I love this too. My most favorite is My Tutor Friend. hahaha I was so in love with this guy after watching Stairway to Heaven and i started to watched his movies too. *oh my God. his freaking ABS is so... wonderful*
I've watched MTF II too, but i kinda forgot who's the lead artist and actor. Does the girl's mom selling chicken? Or she's Japanese who try to look for his love in Korea? I mix up stories
A moment to remember is a nice movie too. I've watched it.
I spend most of my time to watch ASIAN movie and dramas in 4-6 years back.
I spend 100K for 110 VCDs for 1-2 weeks that time. I can spend all my sleeping time to watch it. I remember that day, I watched it with VCD player and also Computer. I'm afraid it would getting too hot so i keep change shift. I usually start my time at 10Pm until 4-5Am that time.

@ncon, i didnt cry also.. But almost.. :D Hard for me to cry out when i watch movie.. All my friend say that i'm not a human.. Because after they watch that drama, they said.. Suitable with the title.. They almost cried a litre..
Thats the only drama you watch till the end? Why? Cant found any interesting part in other dramas?
@yukiko, one of my favorite is My tutor friend. what a funny story.. And love the main character also.. :shifty:
My tutor friend II not as good as the first one.. But i love it too..
A moment to remember is good? Hmm.. Will find it later..
Dont know i've watch it or not before. I've watch so many. And now cant even remember all of the title.

I highly recommend 'two faces of my girlfriend' for chick flick type and 'marathon' for more serious one. marathon is about someone who suffered from autism. the male lead is pretty famous and he really can act. (and he's cute too! psh....)
two faces of my gf is typical korean movie too.. sassy girl, stupid-faced boy.... but its great. i promise....
i've watched a movie bout a sick girl too.. and i dont know what its called... but anyway, theres millions of similar korean movie... hahahahaha....
anyway, speaking bout marketing... i really hate that position. no offense... its just thats so not me... anyway im a chief editor to an indonesian student magazine in beijing. and im sooo new... last semester i was only an editor. now that i have to handle everything about the magazine, the one who is responsible for marketing has to go back to indo.. and since the mag is free, we are very dependant to ads... last few weeks ive been offering someone (first time in my life!!!) and he agreed to advertise in our mag.. but he has sooo many requirements and because he's new and we wish he will keep advertise in our mag in the future, we have to fulfil ALL of his requirements... now he has signed the contract but hasnt paid the money... and he's like threating us if we dont fulfil his requirement, he will refuse to pay.
omg is this normal or is it just me who dont understand the rules??? and everytime i call him i have to pretend to be sooooo polite and he's like 'sorry ya, gue lagi sibuk nih' and he cut the line without giving me an opportunity to answer...
!@#$$%^*
yukiko
03-27-2008, 04:55 AM
Ying Yi, he need to pay it first, doesn't he?
i mean No money no ads
The reason that i prefer Asian than Western movie is the quality. Most of asian movie, especially Korean has good subtitle. as for western, it's lack of quality. especially if you use the Indonesian subtitle. It's so bad.
most of the marketing people is lier. (oopss.... suddenly i have no idea what's the word for penipu, is it lier?)
lynie
03-27-2008, 05:26 AM
@yingyi, I've watch two faces of my gf too.. A nice movie..
Talking albout double personality or is it 3? cant really remember.
Usually people have to pay for the Downpayment first.
If there's no DP, there's no ads. (for the 1st time customer)
@yukiko, I prefer asian too..
And talking about subtitle.. Bleh.. I hate it.. Sometimes the actor talked about 5minutes.. And the translation is only "dan"
aishiteru
03-27-2008, 06:42 AM
Yingyi: for first time buyer, we usually ask for down payment. i think it is very common in business. the buyer has obligation to pay for the down payment once the contract is signed. it will be an evidence also for both parties and they honor the gentlemen agreement.
yipiiiii..i've got some movies from your recommendation. will find out more later on. now i spend my time on TV enjoying CSI series after work or even those criminal series on cable TV...get bored with those 'sinetron' which some of them only copycats from other dramas..
'penipu' is liar, yukiko :-)
so busy at the office now..one prospective client is asking for too many documents in fact he's not even buy from us..*hell*
that's the world of biz????? :glug:
All Marketers Are Liars..
that's the truth..
even marketing guru, Seth Godin wrote a book about that..and using that phrase as the title..and silly me..i bought that book. *sigh* simply because i was attracted to the cover and my job now is related to marketing..if u ask me whether i finished reading the book..well, i haven't finished almost ALL books i've started to read..
exception for Dan Brown's books.. :wink2:
wow, cindy, you are now chief editor? good start, ne..
who knows it will be your fisrt step into journalism world in the future..
is that free magazine only for your univ students? indonesia students?
or for all indonesia students in beijing ???
got your name put on the credits list, huh? on the very top..
that's cool !!
Chief Editor : Guo Ying Yi
about sponsorship..i can tell you that it's not an easy task.
coz you're asking for someone's money.
when i was in the 'promotion staff' of my highschool yearbook, i have to find sponsors too (besides those universities which surely gonna be our sponsors easily). but i gotta tell you guys and let myself sink in embarassment that i didn't get even 1 freaking sponsor..
But i tried...very hard, i can say..coz i and my friend (2 of us), took public transportation heading nowhere..coz we don't have any target where to go, who to be asked..etc..
we decided to explore Hayam Wuruk and Gajah Mada street..
we WALKED...yes ON OUR FEET..from ujung to ujung..
found some courses places, photocopy places, stationary stores..that we thought have relation with school-life..but no result..
then BANG..another friends got sponsors from students whose parents own stores..like clothing store, workshop (for vehicles), florists and so on.. ^^;;
from there, i realized, what is important is damn connection..without connection, you will get almost nothing..
...if i may give you suggestion..if it's all about indonesia, you can find an indonesian food restaurant or something like that to be your sponsor..
or maybe companies nearby whose owners are indonesian people..or whose children study in your univ..
dunnoo..
can't give you many suggestions, since i FAILED myself back then..
yingyi
03-27-2008, 09:33 AM
haha thats okay, for next edition, the girl whos responsible for marketing will be back... i hope she can handle it... and yea actually ive been a normal editor since last semester... it sounds cool but its not easy!!! my mag (its called Tabloid Cabe Rawit, cos it started with the format of tabloid, but now 32 pages mags) is published 3 times per semester and we print about 2000 exemplars (is that an english word?? hehe) each time... and still theres some indonesians who dont get a copy.. we distribute mainly in beijing and we sometimes send them to other major cities like shanghai, tianjin, xiamen, guangzhou etc...
the mag is basically about life in beijing... like where to eat and where to go... chinese study tips, someone's profile, news, tips, entertainment, etc.. and since the editor is ME... i always put jay's album reviews in entertainment column. hee hee
and from this case, ive learned a lesson that there are people who really like doing this.. but they HATE writing articles.. and im the other way around... haha.. its like very hard for them to compose 100 word article...
anyway if anybody of you interested.. i have the PDF file and i can send them via email or yousendit =)
julie : cause my name begins with C. hehe Catherine..
yingyi : i think i'll be in Suzhou around August? yeah maybe we could hang out together sometime!hehe i wish i can have a good time in china. since now i haven't started to study chinese.. fiuh.. can't imagine if i can't speak their language..
just notice that EG fans are cruel ! *sigh..

Well, can you send me a copy? I want to learn how to set up a mini magazine/tabloid or anything. I want to learn it. even if it's in Chinese. Can you send me? Or you just can give the link here, so others also can have it. :D Thank you, Cindy
You are on the Years Book team? I was one too. I'm responsible for Creativity team. I held a competition that time. Poem and Drawing competition. I wrote so many poems that time. so my friend suggest me to held a competition about Poem.
As for our sponsors, the biggest one is my friend's dad company. or should i call it's his company? I remember he help his dad to run the company, and after high school, he's the BOS. fuh.. Bos in a young age. such a bless. You know what company is it? Underwear company. ahahaha. silly.

am so tired thinking about the biz world.:cry:

i read about a new mandarin series "Fated to Love U" in another thread. it is quite interesting and one of the actors is Baron Chen. aaarrghhh handsome handsome handsome..
the series just started coz it showed up to 2 episodes now...have to wait long time till finish and find the dvd :rasp:

I think we have changed our topic, Nancy. We are no longer talking about marketing and stuff. Now we are asking Cindy to give us her magazine's link.
I've heard about that drama too. But I still prefer Korean and Japan Dramas. I never really can like Chinese Drama. Don't know why. For me, Korean and Japan in the 1st place. If there's no more i want to watch, so i watch the Chinese drama then.
cindy i want to get a copy too ^^
wanna see how it actually looks like..
i think writing article is actually fun thing to do...IF you have something in mind to write. otherwise, it's hell..
if it's free mag, it means you and the team are volunteer, right? means you guys don't receive any money for doing that?
but i gotta tell you, it's a great thing to do..
at least you can write that on your CV later on :wink2:
hey, but don't always write about Jay, okay..write about other artists too (except ENERGY) ..bwahaha.. just kiddiinngg :bleh:

WEEKEND !!!
what to do?
i guess nothing
i had (am having) problem with my gastro..i think it's because of the A&W rootbeer i drank the other day..
yesterday, in dawn, at about 2.30 am, i woke up suddenly because i wanted to 'poo-poo'...and it continues until morning. woke up every few minutes to go to the bathroom..and finally i felt so weak..somekind of dehydration.
then it kept going on until the afternoon..keep on "moncor"-ing like crazy..
didn't have appetite to eat..
didn't have lot of energy even to walk..
so i was just sleeping like a pig..but keep waking up every several minutes or so.
But i'm okay now..still "moncor" twice this morning, but it's a lot better than yesterday..though i fart a lot until now and it smells awful.. hahahaha
sigh..it's not cool and not fun at all..

Talking about magz I just bought the animonster photobook 1st edition.
I like almost all of the pictures. It's a good photobook.
Anyway now I've (finally) change my internet, I use firstmedia. It's cheap and fast..
I've never heard of that drama.. I guess I'm really not update with Tw/chinese drama..
Anyone here watch korean movie "He Was Cool"? It's adopted from a novel and comics. But the title is different, in comics the title's "That Guy Was Splendid"
I love the comics, it's probably the only K-comic that I like. I don't like the guys in te movie but the music in the movie is really good.
aina and lynie : thanks for adding me in FS. hehe anyway aina, i did see your photos with jie lun in front of the TV. haha i did the same too. when i went to karaoke, then my cousin took a picture when i sat in front of the TV. we took lots of pictures.. to catch jie lun's best look. :-)

Kinda funny how they choose Thursday to held a concert. :?

at that time, i didn't have any place to have some rests coz my apartment was having a maintenance for the hot water. the management instructed all the residents to evacuate for one whole day. what i did was following my roomie to the uni and hiding at the library....terrible.
Julie: yes i noticed that topic has been changed  i don't want to have any burden in my head at least for today. u know sometimes monday is freakin busy with this and that....enough enough
Yenny: where did u watch? from the cable tv?
i'm okay now..i'm fine.. :wink2:
i think it's only because i drank the A&W rootbeer..not that i've been poisoned since i didn't eat any strange/weird foods..

There's a lot of not official tv cable. and most of it is in Sumatra. My grand ma also have 1 too from an untitle cable. we only pay the setting fee and annually fee, no more monthly fee. it's cheaper to compare to kabel vision, telkom vision etc.
Most of People in Medan surely will have tv cable. even if you're not from healthy financial family. that's i know about..
