ANTI - Xing Guang Bang / Love Stars , WHAT?! 2nd album released in *3 Months?

Does anyone feel the same of what I feel?
1: They might be good at singing LIVE , but , what's with the 2 album releases within 2 months?
2: Their songs are like , not nice , except for some songs like 'Because I Believe' or one of the songs from Pan Yu Wen in the 2nd album.
3: Their looks are just so so.
4: Whats with the nicknames like 'Zhou Ding "Rain" ' ?
Or english name Lin You Jia as Yoga? The exercise ?
5: Big bunch of them got in just because of that competition 'Chao Ji Xin Guang Da Dao'
6: They dont write their own songs. Not even lyrics.
7: They dont release their own albums. Don't tell me it's part of the contract?
But how come Yang Zhong Wei and another guy released an album?
8: They just shot to fame just because of a song "Because I Believe" in their first album.
9: And why not their other songs from the first album are on the charts? And why only their second album has?

Edit : Yang Zhong Wei is popular coz of his voice ? LOL. Heard he is releasing a album next year.

Are you mentioning Yang Zong Wei? He made a fake ID card stating he's 23, but he's actually 27. He was the one who got kicked out. He will be releasing his solo album in early January.

They're HUGE in Taiwan right now. I have to admit some of them really have singing talent. But they're UGLY and their hairstyles make me go "WTF?!"

He looks kinda old. I think honestly Andy Lau with his old age , looks much better than YZW. And I dont think the rest look that good except Pan Yu Wen.

It was actually 4 months, according to kkbox, one was in June and the other in October (cuz I remember the 2 albums weren't like..2 months apart :?) Not surprising though, since each of them only sang 1 or 2 songs and half of them were cover songs. The production doesn't take as much time :rolleyes:

I have to agree they don't look very good, especially YZW. Peter and Yoga is ok, with the help of stylists and cosmetics it'll be alright :D

But you have to admit that they do sing pretty good (not defending them or anything, but it's the truth. They came out of a singing contest)

The thing I hate most about is not really THEM, but how the show does so much stuff behind the scenes. YZW's thing was obviously just a tactic used to pull ratings. If you watch long enough you can tell that the judges favour some contestants (and that's why they keep being attacked by netizens) :shifty:

this bunch of singers , singing ok - like contestants in a singing contest! but , that yang zong wei is lucky to sing gary cao's wonderful song n so becomes famous BUT now, it seems the fleas is biting the dog !! gary is a talented singer/composer who has won many awards . recently , taiwan seems to produce these big groups - lolipops , hei sei hui mei mei n this contest singers - and they wow many fans thru sheer population size! now i wonder - is it any big deal to perform in the taiwan new concert hall since every tom , dick n harry is able to do it there?!!

Okay, there's some thing I don't really like about this show.

Firstly, the judge; Xiao Lin lao shi.

- She is totally biased with guy singers
- Notice how much times she gives 5 points to guys
- In the first episode of season 3, she made the muscular guy pass because... self explained

Now secondly, the albums.

- They release albums way too fast, and songs aren't flawless. They are flawed. (First and Second)
- Second Batch is already making an album, isn't it too fast?

But actually, I like Afalean (Ru Xue Ray) from the first season, because he was actually signed by another company and took his time to do his album.

Now another complaint, WHY DO THEY RUSH THE SHOW? Season 2 came RIGHT AFTER Season 1 ended, and Season 3 came RIGHT AFTER Season 2 ended. Don't you give time in-between seasons for contestants to get ready? I mean, the show is great (I like it) but there's so much stuff I don't like.

Also, the Yang Zhong Wei fiasco. I ADORE HIS VOICE... but I hate how much drama they made for him. The big black spider, hsiao jing teng... blabla... cao ge... I mean, congrats for being in the music industry after a few years of non-stop trying, but did you really have to lie your age to get attention? I bet if he didn't lie, he would never get signed to a company and never release his album.

Anyways, I'm not hating XGB, I'm a big fan of the show, but there is SO many things I hate about it.

Haha, probably nothing special about them at all. Except for maybe one of them, which I have lots of hope on. I hope he won't end up like the rest of them.

The judges kept telling that one person I like to drop the show and release an album. And that person should've. If that person actually did it, it may have the same results as Afalean. He dropped the show early and released his album which was a success. Staying in the show for longer is just a waste of time and arising flames coming up from above.

Most of the first season batch of contestants, I barely remember any of them and some of them appeared in some talk shows which made me go like: "Who are they?" I realized only a week later that it was like some contestant that never made it to the top 5. They were acting like they were popular... and no you're not.

I'm sure the second batch will go down, most of the girls from the top 10 CAN'T SING. Sorry if you're fans of Annie, she's nothing, sorry if you're fans of Ba Lin (Wen Ying), she's not a great singer. She's really cocky and her new look doesn't fit her at all.

Now it's the third season contestants, I hope to have a good laugh at bad singers but also surprises from good singers.

This show is a love-hate relationship with me.
