For some reason I feel really offended by that comment. It's as though you're saying Australia imports "crapass" singers to perform in their country and we're not good enough to have Jay come down for a concert :dry:



Although I do agree with the whole stage name "Show", I found it quite annoying that he keeps using it in EVERYTHING he sells. Oh oh and I ABSOLUTELY HATE HIS SONG TWINKLE!!! He doesn't speak fluent English yet he tried so hard to :oops: I felt like he just made a fool of himself :tongue:

I also agree with you about the "Show" thing, It's really annoying. I don't think there is one album he didn't use the word "Show". I mean come on Show your not that narrow minded.

I used to like Xiao Zhu but now I'm slowly losing love for him.
I've only known him since 2005 and I thought he was pretty funny, but then after a while, it gets boring about him.

But yeah, I don't get why his company uses "Show". I always called him by Xiao Zhu or Luo Zhi Xiang. I dislike it pretty much too.

Other than his superb hosting and dancing, he has a lot of flaws. His live singing is nowhere good. He doesn't use a lot of singing techniques (which himself admitted it on November 19th episode of ylbfb). If his singing was as good as his dancing, it'll be good... but when will he eventually get his singing that good? I mean, in live concerts, he went off-key a lot and couldn't get his falsetto smooth enough.

We're buying his albums and listening to his songs because of the great king of dance himself, Luo Zhi Xiang, and not because of his singing techniques and how he sounds like. Okay, his voice is husky and it's cool, but he doesn't have the vocal power or anything else to cover it.
My 2 cents, I don't hate/dislike Xiao Zhu or "Show" Luo. I'm just stating some facts. He's still a hardworking artist.


Edit: I don't know if Hot Shot will be bad. Ratings on Zhuan Jiao Yu Dao Ai wasn't that bad. It's all up to us viewers. When it'll be released, we can comment about it.

I'm actually a fan of Show's but I mildly agree with some of the points you made. I can't take your argument as a whole seriously though; you could afford to be a little more objective.

1. "Show": yeeeah it really IS everywhere isn't it? hahaha
2. His singing skills: I always found it strange that he doesn't seem to make any effort to learn more singing techniques. I mean, he's a good singer, but when it comes to singing live, he has his flaws. Especially the high notes. He should try and improve his singing for sure.
3. "Hi Working Girl": lol I actually haven't seen the whole drama, nor do I want to. Definitely not his best work! I will say, though, that he was quite good in "The Outsiders II" and "Corner With Love" even if they weren't super popular. (Popular doesn't necessarily mean good. I could name MANY popular dramas that are poor in quality.)

i think EMI is too much in promoting show's stuff. i mean acting, singing, hosting. the name 'show' is kinda stupid, i agree. but taiwan celebrities have a lot of funny names too, haha. yoga & a lot more. show can act, seriously. he got the talent to act. but for singing, it's a NONONONONO! can tell that he is improving but not up to standard yet. if he cant dance, i think he wont have as much fans as now.

Yes he is a funny guy, he entertains people with his antics but sometimes he gets a tad irritating..especially when he gets all cocky and offends his guests.

He is too overrated I think. He doesn't really dance THAT well, I think. He is not the king of dance for god's sake. And what makes me MOST angry is that he copies Rain in his new MV. My god, I'm not even a Rain fan but I feel angry when I see that MV. What's with his management?? He cannot be compared to Rain in any way at all.. zzz.
