Which Jay Chou Album would be his best (In you opinion)

Out of all of Jay's album, I like the most recent one the best. It has so many great songs and the meaning is just fantastic. All his albums are great, but "on the run" is my favorite. He's a genius I tell you =]

Well, it's pretty hard to say which album is the best, as each album has its own best songs.. Such as Fantasy with Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian, On the run and Wo Bu Pei, these are the elite songs! So, I think they are all aces in my book, but some of the songs have room to improve!

i love his earlier albums, esp. fantasy. 8dimensions, yhm, jay, november's chopin and qlx was good too. sad to say , im nt really into his recent albums as much. still fantasy was so-so, but on the run to me was largely disappointing. could be due to his hectic schedule nwadays thus having little time to produce new songs. hwever i wldnt mind waiting longer for an album with a quality to rival his earlier releases.

I would go for Fantasy. It was Jay's original style, and every song was awesome. November's Chopin is also in my list. Lastly, the Secret soundtrack, in which he composed most of the songs really proved his talent for music.

Though in my opinion, his best would be the second album- Fantasy.

I would definitely go with Still Fantasy.
Because my faved song is there. 'Listen To Mum's Words'.(I'm not sure whether the english translation is correct, HEH.)
I think that song has alot of meaning in it. Although it's not Jay's usual style, I just got addicted to it.
Oh, and Still Fantasy has 'White Windmill', 'Heart's Rain', 'Retreat'* which are IMO, SUPERB.
Of course, 'On The Run' opened my eyes to another side of Jay. Frankly, I quite like 'Sweetness', 'I'm Not Worthy' and 'Rainbow'. 'Cowboy On The Run'* shocked me at first, but after a while, it simply grew on me.

I didn't really think that 'On the run' was that good when I first heard it and preferred the songs in 'Still Fantasy' like 'Xin Yu', and 'Tui Hou'. I thought that the album was a bit too 'pop-ish'. But the songs in 'On the Run ' grew on me... and I'm undecided... I like 'Rainbow', 'Qing Hua Ci', 'Wo Bu Pei'...

And not to mention November's Chopin... I think Jay just outdo himself with every album...

How do you choose? I can't seem to choose which album I like the best. All of his songs are great and catcy! For me, I like all his albums because in each album it contains different melodies, catchy tunes, meaningful lyrics, and the list can go on and on ... I love how Jay experiements with different things, ideas, and incorporates them into his music. His music is definitely one of a kind and he stands out from the rest. Even the songs I don't like are sticking onto me now. But, the one album I can't forget that made me first fall in love with him is his first and second album, which contains "adorable woman," "starry mood," "tornado," "can't open mouth," "simple love," etc. I can't wait to see more of his works in the future!

Usually, my "celebrity obsession" doesn't last long, but for Jay it's going to last and impact me for quite a long time. 6 + years and still counting!

Honestly saying i think "On the run" is kinda interesting but i still think that Fantasy is the best album in my opinion. Right now, I didn't heard all his album, but I'm into Fantasy mostly because of An Jing that shares sadness with me. Seriously, there are always at least few good songs in every album Jay Chou made and he made quite a bunch! Unlike some artist who makes CD and always have the same kind of sog over and over!
