Yo YO Yo, JJ's new album has arrived!!!
I was very excited about this album. Overall I thought the album is great and that the quality of the songs are very high.

The album starts off with a intro called "Du Bai". It pretty much starts the ablum off and introduces the J-Fusion with the instruments and sounds. Also that idea of good and Evil and having dual personalities as the gental piano peice turns into a scary sound which leads to the next track "Sha Shou". Sha Shou was the title song and should be familiar to most asian music listeners. The song has a vert good beat and incorperates the J-Fusion by adding lots of solos in the arrangement. The composition of this song is great, it flows very well with the beat. Then after that there's the closing track which sounds great too.
After that that album leaves the creepy sha shou feeling.

The 4th track is "Xi Jie" which is the name of the album. This song to me is very special. cuz it's my favorite song in the album, and what makes it great is the chorus and lyrics. i think it's a love song, the lyrics are great with a lot of deep meaning in them. the instruments used are also very good and it sounds right ya kno. it is sort of like "Yuan Lai" with better music arrangement and lyrics.

Then comes the hip hop section. Wu Liao is a J-Fusion song i think. The song has a great beat that you just don't get tired of, it sounds happy :). Then there's "Dan Tiao" and "K-O". Dan Tiao lead up to K-O and K-O is a signiture JJ song of dance hip hop incorperated with string instruments. sound good. K-O is similar to "Jin Hua Lun" and "Po Jian Dai".

After that there's "Da Nan Ren Xiao Nu Hai" which is a soft ballad that sounds very nice but i think what it lacks is a climax, but still very nice to listen to. After that is L-O-V-E which is another hip hoppy track with a JJ's signiture dance tune. This track is pretty good but nothing amazing

The album ends with 4 love songs that in my opinion all are fairly great. "Fa Xian Ai" is another duet withh JJ and Jin Sha. This song, i think falls in comparison to "Bei feng chui guo de xia tian" but still sounds pretty nice. "Bu Liu Lei de Ji Chang" is another ballad that sounds very sad and heartbroken.
"Baby Baby" is one of those songs that attracted me from the first time i listened to it. The song has a good melody and easygoing lyrics that fit right in.

Listening to this song just makes me wanna find a girlfriend lol. The album ends with "Zi You Bu Bian", which is a ballad that is about freedom i think. The song has a great chorus and music arrangement. in the middle of the song there's a weird switch in music and the J-Fusion pops up all of a sudden. The song is a personal fav. Great song

So at the end JJ did it once again for me, the new songs all sound good to me and yeah JJ rocks!!
recomended songs: Sha Shou, Xi Jie, K-O, Da Nan ren Xiao Nu Hai, Baby Baby, Zi You Bu Bian

I'm a singaporean and I used to dislike JJ Lin :D
Particularly due to his partly feminine voice :shy:
But I got my hands on this album and it got me more interested in his music :-)

Sha shou was very catchy and is quite ironic due to the sense of the mv and the theme. Track 1 and Track 3 were a good build up and suitable end for the song

Xi jie, is very well sung and the instruments all blend together nicely.
My fav would got to be KO, cause of my love for hip hop/ chinked out (jin MC:excited:) Its a very good song and its always on my MP4, particularly like the build up to the song with the conversation and fake 'jay'

I also like L-O-V-E and "Fa xian ai".

The ending track is also pretty solid, kinda reminds me of the ending song on his 3 album.
