what'd you do if Jay chou quit his Career?

I would cry my eyes out! i'd even pray to god or somehow try to find a way to talk to jay chou even if it means stalking him! if he still doesn't at least sing again.... I'd threaten him by getting a whole heap of fans and say we'll commit suicide (not that we would do it but just to scare him.....) lolz anyways if he still doesn't care i'll just keep him close to my heart and try to buy all of his cd's and just end up in a mental institution!.

well he's gonna have to quit sometime... i mean you can't expect him to work FOREVER lol but if he quit NOW i'd be soo devastated too :( i probably wouldn't cry but. coz he's already released so many brilliaant songs i'm ok with just them. its not the end of the world if he doesn't release more ^^

for the time being, i dont think he will quite his carrer. but i think if he dont sing, he can be a director or something he like to do. no matter what, he will still quit his carrer one day. if he really quits, i think i will be very sad.

Music is so much a part of Jay's life that I can't imagine him really quitting...even though I know he has to sometime. If he quits now, I would be devasted because I am looking forward to his 8th album and watching him in concert!

If Jay was going to quit one day I would respect his decision and just remember what a great artist he was. He will never be forgotten as an artist because he worked hard for it and he deserved all the recognition. Just think about it, you still have albums to rely on, it's not like you don't have anything. He will quit one day and it's the truth, we should all respect his decision if that day does come =]

Yeah, life goes on...I love his music and listen to it more than anybody else's music, but if he quits or retires, it's not the end of the world. There's still all that he's already done that we have to listen to and enjoy.

There were ground-breaking artists before him, and there will be other ground-breaking artists after he's gone. The good news is that he doesn't seem to be anywhere near quitting now!

Wouldn't mind if he did quit at all, I really like him, in fact he is my favourite chinese artist. but all good things come to an end, and it's a fine balance between retiring too soon and retiring too late when you are obviously unliked by most.

I think that could be one of the reasons why he went into acting, not only does it provide a safety net if sining fails down the line, but also, you can still act when you are old, true you can sing when you are old too, but in C-pop, there aren't a lot of old singers that are popular.

well i know that it is mean of me to say this, but if he carries on with his 'movie ambition' and keeps on creating music that is not up to the fans standards, then ill much rather he quit out of the music industry.

if he surprises me much more then still fantasy and the newest album in his next album then i'll be glad.

I think it is funny that everyone says that would "let" him do this or that. Like fans own their muscians. I would be sad, that he would not be making music anymore. I think I'd accept it. There are many great bands (ex. DAI) and singers who have quit. You still have all their works, so it's like they never really quit. You just don't get anything new.
