Chocolate Rain is a song that is written by Tony Zonday which has been popularized by You Tube, spawning more then 5 million views+ aswell as granting the young songwriter to perform in various american talk shows ,such as jimmy kimmel.

I do respect him for talking about the black suppression, however the song is completely overated . He plays the same riff throughout the whole song, aswell as singing the same darn melody "chocolate rain, chocolate rain, which is actually very irratating. I just don't understand why people like it.

Yeah, it is a bad song, me dont like it either! - he just keeps repeating the same riff over and over with stupid lyrics, but I think this what makes it so popular the guy is so shameless and funny, and in turn he has become an internet meme (that everyone spread to their friends). I, myself though, didn't find it funny, I got it from someone else who told me it was.

have you looked at his other songs? They are actually good, like 10* better than Chocolate Rain

I had never listen to his songs before. But after reading your posts, I went to check it out at youtube. I simply agree with what you've said. What's with that recurring "chocolate rain". I've read the lyrics as well. There is chorus ffs. How the hell does he differentiate the chorus from the start and the ending when the rythm and the song is like 3/4 the same and filled with "chocolate rain"
