Mentor's 1st Birthday Bash
1st ~ 10th August 2007

Join the mentors in celebrating our first anniversary! We're friendly and helpful to newbies, but have you tried partying with us? *shakes maracas* Because we love to party so much, we've decided to run a themeweek + 3 mini games + a scavenger hunt over the next 10 days to squeeze as much fun as we can out of this week.

Games are played individually, points are awarded and accumulate throughout the games to find the ultimate party player! (A scoreboard will be added to this post as the games go underway -- watch this space!). Here's a sneak preview for the activities coming up in the next few days.

The ultimate party player's awards
First prize: award banner, and 4 rep. points
Second prize: award banner, and 2 rep. points
Third prize: award banner

Great. Your first task is to create a banner (worth 2 points)

This banner must include the name of this themeweek, its duration, and feature an image of your favorite thing about birthdays. It could be the presents, the cake, having all your friends and loved ones there or some other fabulous reason.

If you participate & post your banner in this thread, you are automatically awarded 2 points that contribute to the 'ultimate party player scoreboard'. Don't let the mentors have all the fun, come out and play. You could be our ULTIMATE PARTY PLAYER!!

If you don't have time to play, drop by and say hi anyways.

Oh, and don't forget to post your banner. I used sparklers for my party-item-of choice. Having a few lit atop a cake for me is like a party with mini-fireworks happening right on my cake! Plus they look cool in photos when you draw with them! :happy:
