Hey, this thread is nothing wrong. But on sam_ho's link, it says lots of idiocy. If you (DulceMexicana) have backup to what you're flaming (like jazlyn87 said), I guess this is a fair fight/debate.

I'm no die-hard fan of Leehom but I don't hate him either, but there has to be some flaws in Leehom but some perfection about him too.

For instance, he doesn't look hot. Sorry girls :D. But his singing is awesome.


Also, doing a promo doesn't mean being a poser or wannabe or going into Jay's footsteps. There's a contract and you sign it if you want to do it. Do you have an idea what a contract looks like? You sign it, and it's permanently there. You do these promos for MONEY.

So what if Leehom is taking Jay's place in promotions? I mean, look at Jay, he's starring in movies, directing movies, getting an album out near fall/winter this year. There's lots of things that Jay can do and Leehom can't do.

And yeah, he's no wannabe. He's Chinese so he sings Chinese songs. He's born in America, where the hip hop fuzz is so he likes hip hop.

Then again, I shouldn't defend him too much. But I do feel like a lot of girls are behind a blindfold :D.

I would like to know the EXACT reasons as to WHY you think that Lee Hom is "fake" and what you mean when you say that he is attempting to "out beat" everybody else.

Referring to the whole promo thing, all artistes promote their albums. If they don't promote, people wouldn't buy their albums. Hence, the whole idea of a promotion.

Also, when you say he looks like a hot dog, not everyone has the same opinion. What you would perceive as "good-looking" is totally different from what other people would think.
As they say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". If you don't like the way he looks, I don't see a point in making such a weak argument like, "OMG. LEE HOM IZ LYKE SO UGLY. HE LOOKS LIKE A HOT DOG.".

And you say that you couldn't care less about him. I find that you are merely contradicting yourself and being a hypocrite, because if you couldn't care less, you wouldn't have made this thread saying how much he sucks.

Here's an idea. If you want to insult someone, learn how to spell properly first, get proper grammar and punctuate your sentences. Also, don't forgot to get your points across right.

whoever started this thread should go and actually listen to his music. alot of his stuff is better than Jay's and his voice is oviously better than a lot of other singers. He's a kind person too, very smart for scoring perfect score on his SAT's. His musical talent is very flexible. He can listen to and genre of music and then write a song based on that genre. In my eyes Leehom is the one of the only asian singers keeping the industry alive right now. I like him cuz he's really outgoing like all americans and he doesn't try to act cool like Jay and a lot of other singers do. He always just be himself and I admire him for that

Yes, I hate how he's so extremely gifted and passionate about what he does. GRR, why was I not able to attain these traits when I was dipped into the gene pool? BAH. Grrr, I hate Leehom for having so many wonderful attributes. :rolleyes:

well smartass, that's cuz leehom has a good personality and is a likable person, plus he contributes to society by bringing us good entertainment so that we can conquer boredom. Anyways, I like Leehom too. In the beginning, I didn't really cus my friend let me listen to some of his old songs with all the chinese instruments and whatever in the bg. But then later, I listened to his other album, Heroes of the Earth, or something like that (don't wanna check), and I thought it was really good. And that's when I started becoming his fan.
