have any of you guys seen this reality tv show? if not, its pretty good! 'the simple life' stars paris hilton and nicole richie. these girls are rich beyond belief and the catch of the show is that they're exposed to 'the simple life' for a month. so all the cash and credit cards are taken from their LV bags and they have to work. their move from beverly hills to arkansas is pretty funny. they're such brats and ditzes. 'like...oh my god...i've never worked this hard in my life...i'm gonna die' haha

anyways...i find the show entertaining. but instead of the reality tv shows like 'joe millionaire' or whatever, it actually raises some questions. what are your opinions? do you think its unfair that some people are just born with a silver spoon in their mouths? or do you have you ever dealt with spoiled rich brats who don't have to do anything but get everything? or you can just make fun of how ditzy these girls are. haha

I've seen this, its HILARIOUS!! So funny just watching these snobby rich girls getting stripped from their fame and fortune and being stuck in a farm with two old fogies...hehe but omg...Paris Hilton is the biggest !@$@#% ever!!!!!!!! there's actually this movie of hers which had steamy sex scenes that i think is not being picked up by any movie company because how do I put it... SHE CAN'T ACT. i just saw of the clips and it was terribly funny.:laughing:

I really like watching that show. It's very entertaining, in an amusing way. The "Simple Life" is one of the few reality shows I've ever enjoyed. The girls are just so ditzy you can't help but crack up.

At first I thought, OMG these girls are idiots. But then it becomes apparent, everything is staged by FOX. I mean...why the hell would you place pies outside right before you're going into the house anyways? Just so the dog will eat it and FOX will have something funny to show for that episode. Seriously...no one can be that stupid.

This is what makes the show entertaining...if they did everything correct, was polite to everyone, didn't act so outrageous, who would watch?

i've watched some episodes of the simple life. i admit it's quite hilarious. for some reason, paris hilton keeps walking around with her butt hanging out from her jeans or peaking out from her really short skirt that fox has to blur them.

i wonder how the family felt with the girls' disrespect while they were staying in their house. i mean, they must've been insulted cuz the girls just make fun of everything.

i was glad they got to bring their nice clothes, though. that was fun to see.

ER... :dry: I think you'll be surprised by how stupid some people really are. some are born without Common Sense and sometimes "emotional intellect", like respect and um empathy etc.

Its kind of sad how Paris Hilton kinds of play into the stereotype of a rich, blond girl. But man, if they're dumb enough to follow through with fox's setups then maybe a head examination wouldn't hurt? And the sequal too? Ahh... how stupid can they get now huh? :)

um, ive only seen a couple of episides of this show but i must say, i was blown away by those kids!!! (but they're obviously older than me...)

I thought it was pretty funny, but the original show wasn't filmed that well. I got the feeling that when it became a huge success, they didn't have enough footage to keep going, so they delayed 2 weeks, had re-run episodes, and had the reunion show before they finally showed the last episode.

Before, I was really excited to see the show. Now, not that much anymore. Sure it is funny, but there are times... I like Paris better than Nicole. Nicole tends to be an A$s sometimes. Like she has no heart. They really don't take things seriously. They're just doing the show for money/ fame. They do not strive hard in their tasks knowing that when the show ends they still have their money to fall back on. Yes, there is a part two: Its like being on the road or something. Driving somewhere.

EDIT: I like to add that a good thing is that Paris and Nicole can notice the cutest guys! Even if Paris and Nicole, (esp Nicole) are rude -- they know how to make the show interesting by talking to cute guys. :)

just saw the simple life2, this time is different, they gotta start from miami to la, i think. so they got a pink truck pullin a trailer. i saw the first episode, which was okay, is the one where paris fell from the horse, then kind awatched the second one, which they lost a girl they babysitted at night. okay that's all.

well i onli watched the first episode of part 1 cos as usual singapore here is slower in broadcasting shows from the west.wadever.anyway i find it pretty entertaining.its like u will roll your eyes and wonder what the girls are thinking or doing.i think most of the time they are just not using their brains (or do they have brains in the first place?)

But I ever watch Joe millionaire, Bachelor, Bachelorrete, and america next top model. all these show I really like it, espeacially america next top model.
I also think that d show is set up some scene and add something to b interesting, a bit exaggerate. But we still like to watch them anyway :D

i dont really watch the show other than when im channel surfing and there's nothing else on. the last episode that i saw was when they went to the nudist resort and made fun of this one guy when they were cleaning his toliet. and then they were like eww, and called a maid to come clean the place for them. what i can't stand the most is how they spend other people's money without asking and charge things to their card. it's like they're shop-a-holics or something.

a lot of people watch it for amusement and i agree, the show is funny. how can it not be with 2 spoiled airheads on there?

Yeah, I always switch on the TV on Sat if I can help it. i watched the new one last nighte! it was funny, they spend the night at a bunch of very christian family. n the family told them that no cussing was allowed, but nichole just was just cussin away... the family helped paris n nichole organize their trailer though :) den they went to baseball game funny. honey n tinketrbell the dogs, they ran on to the field, n they pooed on the field, then thye got kickeed out :) i love tinkerbell!!

well, it's not exactly REAL reality tv, the girls are aware of what's going to make the audience laff so some of the stuff they do are on purpose. i dont think paris is that stupid. if you ask her some of her close friends, they'll say that theres' a whole other side to her. does anyone notice how spoiled their dogs are? especially TINKERBELL, the chihuahua, paris has clothes for her!

Haven't seen it yet, but I heard it's pretty funny. I wouldn't watch it just 'cause Paris Hilton disgusts me. I went to the MTV VMA last year. All of the celebrities arrived in cars w/ tinted windows... and then guess who arrived with their windows rolled DOWN so they can get some attention? The Hilton sisters, duh! I figured I'd take a picture of them since they obviously wanted to ppl to take pix of them--they even posed for my camera! I think if Nikki had her own show, I'd watch it. She seems more interesting. Who needs Paris Hilton's intelligence when we can observe that of Jessica Simpson's? =)

basiclaly nichole and paris, dont hav cell phones, just their trailer and their pink truck. n they hav to drive from miami to la. without all their fancy stuff, without waiters and the usual rich life... its' quite funny to see em scream at bugs

I just bought the DVD last week and I watched it just yesterday! I love this show so much! But unfortunately I wasn't able to find season 1's DVD only bought the finale season.
And gosh, this show is pretty long, around 3 hours plus. But I really enjoyed the, I was laughing non-stop and my friends think I'm insane. :angel:
It's funny when they made the sausage for the fat guy who stepped on Nicole Richie's tail, the dog food. They are so evil!

Paris Hilton is so adorable! :D She's so gutsy too, dares to go on the horse back again even though she fell off once. If I were her, I'm definitely not going to go up on a horse ever again.
And they bought Billy *haha* as a pet!
