toronto: food guide

can some1 live in Toronto recomend me some good restaurant to eat. Not like those that are featured in magazine. Like if your friend from another place come to visit you in Toronto and you have to take them to that restaurant. Thanks in advance. :-)

I don't know many restaurants in Toronto, but I live in Hamilton and it's about an hour drive down here.
There's this Dim Sum restaurant downtown called The Jade Garden, and it's really nice! If you can get down here, it's on the corner or James St and Vine St.
The food is really exquisite! They sell bubble tea there too! ;D
Sorry I can't recommend any restaurants that are in Toronto.. ^^;

Lee Garden is pretty nice... the food is expensive and it can get really busy but usually it's very good. It's on the East side of Spadina north of Dundas.
