hey i noticed the last one was closed cos it hit the 500th-post mark already.
so anyway. do continue discussing about the second CSS. :D

firstly, i wanna say: spax! i totally loved fukuan so much! but but... he's out already... :depresse:

okay during the revival round for CSS2, Shawn and Huixian were successfully revived, joining the other 4 guys and 4 girls. (:

i think that it's a pity ah-fu aka fukuan didn't get in. and that it's ridiculous guohao gets a place in top 10. and also, i think the girl who should have been revived is elaine cos i still think she has the best voice and best singing skills.

ANYWAYS. so any feelings about the current CSS? continue discussing... :D

I also think elaine shld be revived as her singing's the most stable, but too bad I think she's not outstanding enough. Yap Ah FU Fukuan is cute, and he's so good ar singing RnB songs!

Hmmm I think this CSS is OK la.. As usual, some pple who deserved to be in are not, and those who are not are in...it's always like that

Ahhh yes ^5 Pearlie!

I really like Fukuan!! No doubt Shawn is good, but I find Fukuan's voice more refreshing. Not many people could pull of R&B/Soul songs. But sigh how I wish the last two standing will be Fukuan and Shawn. I wonder how Guohao get so many votes. He's not really good looking too! :dry:

I also felt Elaine is more stable, I thought she could be revived, but well since she's out now, I think the top five girls aren't outstanding at all IMO.

Yesterday I think is either everyone is not prepared or they are too nervous. The first guy who sang Nicholas Teo's Dang Ni Gu Dan Ni Hui Xiang Qi Shei performed badly for a simple song. And Junjie went off key, I guess the song is too hard for him. Needless to say Xubin was weak so I knew he would get a all-time low score.

Now I'm left pinning hopes for Zijie and Shawn.

I'm acturally looking forward to Terry but I think she is too nervous and so she lose the points. However, I think the result is somehow expected but I think that Shawn performed ok yesterday whereas FuKuan did much better.

teri is really alright BUT. #1 she's got this stuck-up attitude. #2 she acts cute. #3 she does not have stage presence. #4 she can sing ok but she can't perform. #5 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, she can't speak chinese. and therefore she cannot be a superstar, a campus superstar, to be precise, who needs to speak chinese. :whistle: ladida~ sorry but i just don't like people who can't speak their native language.

yenny- yeah i suppose maybe because she looks too "girl-next-door" than "superstar"... ):

stary- YAHH!!! OMG AH-FU IS GOOD EH! when i knew he was going to sing Ai Ai Ai i was like, :glug: is he sure?! but when i heard him sing, i was like, OMG HE ROCKS. but SIGH. too bad. ): i'm going to miss his cute silly silly smile~ </3

anyways. SIGH. elaine~ now the best girl is out. the rest left are in just because they have more of the 'star' factor than her. ): if huixian improves she'll be the best there. (:

and and. ohhh i think shawn was rather good yesterday because he was all relaxed and stuff. didn't worry at all. and he enjoyed his performance. that's why... but ah-fu.... :depresse:

oh. and as for xubin and wilson. other than I TOTALLY STUNNED, i have nothing else to say. :sweat: junjie. um. WELL, when his voice finishes breaking, i think he'll be good! but now unfortunately for him his voice is stuck in the middle of nowhere. >_<

Now that shawn is revived.. i got the mood to continue watching this CSS all over again... cos i was too disappointed after watching the "guohao in and shawn out" episode...

Ehh... i don't like huixian.. she is too act cute already... and i thought she was participate an Angela Zhang singing contest in yesterday's episode... :P

sorry if i offend anyone here. but i seriously dont like fukuan. his expression except his smile is all very guai. his actions too. a bit like a retard. i am sorry if i offend any fukuan fans here! SORRY!
shawn sings well at the revival round and i was amazed. oh yeah, i feel that fukuan sings very gd for the ai ai ai! thats a gd thing. and xubin singing jay song, ahem. it was totally terrrible adn junjie broke voice and wilson?? omg. but i think all of them are much better than guohao. he cant sing at all! he is just like embarassing himself in front of the public! although he looks rather cute lah. guohao is like providing entertainment and i look forward to every of his performances! haha.
as for the girls, i think that elaine shld be in instead of huixian lah. huixian cant sing and she got tat act cute voice lah! haha.

It's okay, everyone has their likes and dislikes.

Indeed his stage presence isn't good he needs improvement on that. But what I like most is his voice.

I also thought Elaine should have revived. But she chose a song that is too safe for her. She's definitely capable of harder songs that is why she got lower marks this time round.

i watched the revivial rounds and thought that the xu bin was totally not taking it seriously. like, gosh, even though jay chou (mumbles) at times, but then, the pronounciation of the words is so offf. DANG.

i quite like elaine too! but she's out now, so there's only keely to look for!

I was watching the revival rounds (repeated telecast) while eating my instant noodles. I felt like throwing the pot at the tv when I heard Xu Bin sang... He murdered that song!

it's down to the top 6 now. i think the dance round was rather exciting. erm, except for zijie. ):

but i think benjamin marcus and shawn did great jobs of their songs. :D marcus especially. (though biased me still prefers yuyang's version. :rolleyes:) as for benjamin. the singing and attitude are FANTASTIC. but jing wu men is essentially for a dance pro. :sweat: arr. he still rocks. and shawn. way cool. :D that's all i can say. and that's the shawn we're all looking forward to. (:

as for the girls. nothing to say except zhengning finally showed us what she can really do. (:

Ya it's rather pity that Zijie is out.

And this week's theme is really not his forte and I think the last few guys standing are around the same standard except for shawn who is definitely better for his vocals.

In fact I think Benjamin didn't really dance much. And the judges didn't comment about his dancing.

Actually I don't like Zhengning but well the three left standing aren't that good either. Now I think most probably Keely will win for the girl's group :dry:

Haizz, I never watch it that day, I watched the beginning part but I when out after that...

I watched the results and I felt that Marcus and Benjamin did quite well that day, I think they are really suitable for dance songs...

i loved ah-fu & elaine's duet during the CSS2 preview yesterday. it was sooo nice. sighh. if only they were the top two finalists...

but anyways the finals are almost here and here's the songlist.

Hmmm no one discussing about the grand final showdown on Saturday?

I thought this year's show was less spectular as last year's. And from the start, I felt that Shawn's is good, but alittle overrated and it seems that he could only do well in a few songs.

Though I don't really favour Benjamin, he definitely did better than Shawn for the two songs, but it was a pity his voice cracked for Xi Jie if not it's really not bad. I'm rather impressed that he chosed such a tough Gary Cao's 3-7-21 and he actually pulled it off. And he did captured me with his bright smile in the finals. :happy:

What suprises me was the points given by Li Wei Song. Was he in a good mood? He gave 7-8 points for all the contestants which is rather rare.

I thought Zhenning getting to the finals was really unexpected but at least she did improve. Keely did okay, not really exceptional but she's really pretty on screen definitely capturing those teenage boy's hearts.

P/S: I love Keely's last blue tube dress with her head accessory, it's so pretty! :rolleyes:

The results are expected for me. I personally thinks that shawn didn't win the competition with flying colours as his performence is not as good as usual, maybe because its nervous ba... I'm not sure whether the votes for Keely and Shawn has a big difference, but if the votes does not have a big difference, then maybe Keely can win the competition by choosing the right song at the last section of the competition...

Edit: I have a feeling that Shawn sang the wrong song when singing the duel with Zhen Yong Ling, because they are too young to be talking about marriage and the image when both of them stand together is really funny :D
