Comeback of Hu Ge

I don't know how many of you who even has heard of Hu Ge (胡歌), he is a famous actor in mainland China. About a year ago, he was in a serious car accident where his assistant was killed and he was seriously injured. He suffered over 100 stitches to his face and especially right eye. Fortunately, he was able to recover with great speed. over the course of a year and many reconstructive surgery, this is the outcome:

I'm sorry to joke in such a serious topic, ... but to celebrate his recovery, they gave him a PLANT?

when i found out he had gotten into an accident last year i was so sad. i'm glad he's back on his feet and recovering so well.

After looking at it again, that is not bamboo (let's just say I worked with a lot of bamboo as a kid, a lot =] )

But I do hope that whatever it is, it has some sort of connotation like that, not like..."here u go, get well, have a tree"

have a tree..? HAHAHAA thats funny, i'm actually really suprised , they doctors patched him up quite welll, not big o scar on his face that would ruin is career... except the eyes... ones bigger than the other , and the pupils aren't looking the same way..~_~ but i'm glad he's all better now!!!

Okay I got it screwed up cos I loaded both poarts, watched part one halfway, then accidentally clicked on the part two tab & just watched it, then I realized that I haven't finished part one :sweat:

But it was so sad, seeing all those photos & the process of his pain ):

I lvoed him like crazy after watching Chinese Paladin, & even though I only watched the first&last episodes of Fairy from Wonderland, I still loved him anyway.

He's really a prince in those period dramas~ :love:

I don't really know who he is but just from looking at the pictures I didn't see anything wrong with him.

Probably because of the glasses covering the scar above his eye, I'm glad that he's made a recovery though. That's how tough a human life can be :-)

Oh my... i was quite worried abt him when i got news abt his accident... it was really serious... and he had to endure physical and emotional pain (the loss of his assistant).

I'm really glad that he had recovered now... and not much serious damage done.. except the scar on his eyelid... it was so close to his eye... luckily he is not blinded...

ok guys and girls short news drop. legend of the condor heroes 2008 (the 6th version) was done filming last month and is scheduled a release of May 2008..I'm so excited!!! Hu Ge had to endure a lot and I can't wait to see the outcome!
