Does anyone watch InuYasha? I'm on episode 96, and I love it! It's my favorite anime and I actually buy the manga for it. Actually, I dont watch anime too much because they're retarded as hell most of the time and I really don't have extra hours in the day to watch it, but Inuyasha is so good that I spend money on the comics!!

Does anyone else watch this? And if so, what episode are you on? And if not, do you watch anything else?
(im not talking about InuYasha on the cartoon network ... It's against my religion to watch dubbed anything. I'd rather walk a thousand miles on burning hot coals than watch a dubbed show).

I love Sesshomaru! He is by FAR my favorite character. After Sesshomaru I like InuYasha. I like Sesshomaru because he is so ELEGANT and manly. hahahahaha!!

i like kouga cuz hes brute... in a cute way. and hes really open about his feelings hehehe. (even tho he is kinda dense...) but inuyasha and kagome are two of my fav characters too! :)

Well, she's up to book 26 I think right now, and she might end it in a year or so I think. In ep. 99, Kagome meets up with Kikyou again and helps her, so they're friendship develops. Ultimately, I think when Kikyou decides that Kagome is worth the love of Inuyasha is a sign for the ending of the series. I'm kind of sad though, cause its sOOOO funny.

Prince of Tennis! Prince of Tennis! Anyways, since I never got back to that post earlier, what's so interesting about POT? Hmm.... I think it's because the show is almost completely centered around character development, because it shows how all the players get better as they go along. And I don't think they take themselves too seriously, because there are constant jokes going on throughout the anime. Seriously, it's something you've got to see to appreciate. :) And once it starts, you get hooked. :) Hahaha....

I just got the Inuyasha game (no I didn't buy it, I borrowed it). and its.......... "..." No reply value and the controls are slow. Also, the control pad and the moves are extra sensitive and there's a delay in the game before he attacks even if you push the buttons right away.

Anyhow, playing this game and listening to the dialogue, I realized why I like InuYasha so much. I've stated this before but it's so important! I like it because each character in Rumiko Takahashi's manga always have a distinct character. Unlike many other anime and manga, usually only the main characters personalities are really developed (sometimes). I just like how she spends so much time making sure that everyone is different and has a realistic personality trait as well as flaws. None of her characters are perfect and they all have major weaknesses.

Okay, I'm on ep.102 right now and my favorite character is Inuyasha. Although Fluffy's not too bad looking either! But Kouga???!!! Arg! He annoys me! I wish he and Kikyou would leave or die or something and let Kagome and Inuyasha get together already.

And I think that if Kikyou wasn't dead and if her and Kagome weren't in love with the same guy, they might be friends. But, I didn't get the feeling that the two were getting any closer in ep. 70, sorry Chun Li.

Oh, and as a side note, I would really like to see Sango and Mirokou get together!

There is one reason why I like Kouga. I think because he professes his love to Kagome all the time, Inuyasha is forced to show his true feelings too!! I totally love how Inuyasha gets jealous, its soooo cute!! and seriously, kikyou needs to go into the afterlife already, she is totally being the jealous bitch. Hello! Who's going to love a rag doll filled with clay!! And it was her fault that she sealed Inuyasha anyway... I guess its more naraku's fault... but she didn't even give him time to explain himself. ANYWAY!!!

And I am totally in love with Sesshomaru. I think he is so sexy I can't stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the way he talks, omg if you haven't seen 106 yet you must see it, I see a drastic personality change coming up for him... and Rin.. what do you think of Rin?

And that's what I'm saying...Kikyou needs to die, disinegrate, go back to hell, whatever. Naraku may have used his powers against them, but if they were both that quick to turn against each other, then they obviously weren't really in love. Otherwise they should have been able to trust each other.

I love Fluffy too! But only after Inuyasha. He is way cute! I love that he is always so calm and collected. And even though he hates humans, he still looks after Rin....sorta. Geez, what kinda personality change? I hope that he ends up getting along with Inuyasha, afterall they are brothers!

I like Rin, but I hate Jakken! He is so annoying! I just wanna squash him and be rid of him. I wished Sess wouldn't keep saving him/bringing him back to life everytime he dies! What do you think of Rin?

Oh! And what about Miroku and Sango? what do you think about them? I would like to see them get together, but then if they get together and Kagome and Inuyasha get together, then it makes too tidy of an ending. Don't you think?

I love this show so much and I can't believe I never noticed this thread!
I really like this show because of the strong storyline and beautiful visuals. The multi-faceted characters and clever dialogue helps too.
I love the tangled relationships the characters weave. Seriously, if I'm going to list all the things that makes me like this show so much, I'm never gonna go offline, ever!
Most of all, I love how they add the values of how impt it is to know your own culture. I admit that I was like Kagome when I was younger, dissing everything traditional. Remember the part where her grandfather gave her a gift and she fed it to Boku?
I really liked Kagome because she's not shown as those klutzy heroines (note: Sailormoon) who got out of sticky situations through sheer luck. I also love Inuyasha for being egotistical, rude and funny, who likes goody two shoes anyway?

Yes! totally understand! No offense to Sailormoon fans, but after a while it really annoyed me that she was always a klutz. But I have to say this.....I watch the Cartoon Network version (dubbed) of Inuyasha and Kagome's voice really bothers me! way better to watch on DVD in Japanese!

Okay, so about Kouga. His finance is cute, I think she suits him. I wonder if he really likes Kagome or if he wants to piss Inuyasha off.

One thing I did notice as well about inuyasha is the personality flaws. None of them are perfect and some of them are just plain rude, snobby, and someone you'd hate in real life, but that makes the anime all the more realistic. Too many anime have the typical perfect characters that are just so recycled. There is no originality! I think Inuyasha (and ranma, for that matter) have such well developed characters that it draws you in.

Hey, how do you think Sesshomaru feels about Rin? I mean, he's going after Naraku because of the Rin kidnapping. I wonder if he treats Rin as a daughter? Omg, shes the fire that melts the ice? But she ages and he doesnt. What if they get together in like 10 years!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!

And I would love to see sesshomaru and inuyasha fight together against naraku, which is what I think will happen. I just don't know when, though. When do you think the series will end???????? I'm dreading it! but I also want to know whats going to happen!

I predict that kikyou will start to like kagome and just sacrifice herself in a battle against naraku and tell inuyasha that she is happy for him and kagome. Wait, does that mean kagome will never return to her time??? But at the rate she's going, she's going to fail out of school anyway!

And am I the only one that would like to see Shippo get a little older? It kind of doesn't make sense. Demons don't age, yet Shippo is a child demon??? So when does he ever grow old??

Aargghs, I'm so slow. I'm still at episode 75, but I'm still quite up-to-date on the plot because I read the online summaries. The one in Singapore are all dubbed, so I try to import mine from fan-sub sites. I'm rather broke now so I'm trying to download from Kazza, but there's so few and it's so slow.
I can't answer the rest because I haven't seen the action on my google box yet but here's what I think:
I think Kouga just has an infatuation with Kagome. He's just drawn in to make the relationship more ommph. I like him though, the contrast between him and Inuyasha. Plus, Inuyasha is cute when he gets jealous so it doesn't hurt. Ultimately though, Kouga is gonna go back to his fiance since it's definate that Inuyasha and Kagome are meant to be together.
About Sesshomaru and Rin though, I guess it's more of a protective older brother-sister relationship for now, but who knows. Even if they get together in 10 years, what happens when Rin grows old but Sesshomaru doesn't. It's cute how little Rin can melt Sesshomaru though.
Lastly, Shippo. I find it so strange. Aren't demons usually born demons, so, they must grow up right, like Sesshomaru? I read somewhere that demons usually grow to an stage when they are most powerful and stop ageing thereon. In Shippon's case, I guess they drew him in as a comedic character, and he won't be that cute if he's any older. And like Inuyasha once said, even he soesn't really know how old Shippon is, so Shippon might be young outside but old at heart for all we know.
I can't wait to know the ending but at the same time I don't want the series to end. So contradictry, but I can't explain it. But Naraku will defiantely perish and I suspect that Inuyasha will turn into a real human for Inuyasha. I'm torn towards whether Kagome should return to her world or remain where in the past though.

I'm really want the rest of the later episodes now, any good fansub sites where the prices are affordable? I actually went and did the "rapid fire sits" to someone who annoyed me so you can see how obessed I am.

I buy most of my episodes online. That's really the only way to find them for me, especially the newer ones. Plus it's cheaper than purchasing them in a store. I've heard about ep 107, and I'm dying to see it!!! Where do you get yours?

I totally agree with you that Ayame is really cute and suites Kouga perfectly! I just wish he would realize that!!! Honestly, I think that Kouga really does like Kagome, but he doesn't (really)love her. He thinks he does. and that it bothers Inuyasha is probably a plus for him too.

Despite all of the Inuyasha flaws that piss me off somethimes, I really like the characters. the flaws allow you to relate to them and that's not possible if they was perfect. if they were perfect, you'd just start to hate them cause they're always perfect!

I gotta tell you that I'm really confused by what Sesshoumaru feels for Rin. there's definitely some sort of good feeling towards her, but I don't think it's romantic love. I'm kinda hoping she gets with Kohaku, especially since they bonded in the hut when she was kidnapped. Plus, she's really young for Sesshoumaru!!! Not that age ever matters in anime, but you know. Oh....or maybe Souta? But then he's dating that girl from school....oh well, I'm thinking that however it turns out for Rin, I'd be happy with it. Oh wait, short of Rin dying of course!

I'd really like to see the two brothers fighting against Naraku together as well! They're brothers!!! I hope that the swords from dad will help them realize that fact and to stop fighting with each other. Especially since they can't use the Tetsusaiga and the Tenseiga against each other.

Oh! And what do you think will happen to Kanna and Kagura? Since they come from Naraku, if he dies, will they die too? And do you think that Musou will play a part in Naraku's end? Especially since he's kinda like Naraku's heart and his human connection?

I think that Kikyou likes Kagome, she just can't get past the jealousy because Inuyasha cares for Kagome now. Remember that she said she wanted a guy who could love only her forever, even after her death? I'm kinda predicting that she'll sacrifice herself to save them and let Inuyasha and Kagome know that she's happy for them in the end as well.

If Kagome and Inuyasha end up together, it's okay cause they can both travel back and forth between the two worlds....oh wait!!! what if he becomes human for her and then they have to choose one world to stay in! And what's gonna happen with Hojou?

I wanna see Shippo get older and go off on his own. Sometimes he really bugs me....what about his first love? They could start a family somewhere!

I'm guessing that it'll end around the same as ranma, so it's coming up! I'm excited and sad at the same time, cause I wanna know the ending...but at the same time, I'll be sorry it's over and then I'll have to find a new one to watch. I'm very dedicated and watch everything one at a time.

And what about Sango and Miroku! They should just get together, and then Sango can have his babies!

Imesh also has a lot of episodes too. The reason why I dont use kazaa is because of spyware. I'm like traumatized by what happened to my last computer so I don't use Kazaa anymore.

Anyways, Miroku is such a pervert but he's so funny that I love it! I always like it when he says something nice to Inuyasha and Inuyasha doesn't get it, and then Miroku ends up abusing him in some way.
I think sango and miroku will definately get together, they're like the checks and balances in the relationship - they fit perfectly!

You know what part I totally love? When Inuyasha and Kagome first met miroku way back in the beginning, and miroku was on the ground looking unconscious and stuff. And then Kagome goes to look and see if he's alive, and he grabs her butt! and my favorite part is when kagome jumps into Inuyasha's arms and he growls! GAHHHHHHHHH Ro-Man-Ti-Ku!!!

Where did you read that demons stop growing at the form that they're the strongest, satanrina? Was it part of inuyasha? Or .... online comics? That means Inuyasha is the strongest right now, and sesshomaru is... well, perfect! heehehee. But that also means inuyasha is stronger than sesshomaru because he's younger? Hmm.

Did you guys know that there is a second inuyasha movie? I haven't been able to get it but im craving it. I dont think it's been out on the net yet. I think Hojou is the BIGGEST dork! But I would like to see an episode where Inuyasha sees Hojou in love with Kagome. Dude, I am so obessed with Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship. I think it's the cutest thing and I wouldn't mind having a guy that shares the same character traits as inuyasha.

I'm totally hoping that Sango and Miroku get together cause I think they balance each other out really well too. I like that when Miroku says something nice to Inuyasha, Inuyasha always takes it the wrong way and then he starts arguing and chasing Miroku.

I thought that was really cute too, when Miroku grabs Kagome's butt and she jumped into Inuyasha's arms! You could see the jealousy there!!!

I think that Hojou is a huge dork and I can't figure out why all of Kagome's friends are in love with him! What do they see in him? And don't you think that he looks a little like Miroku? But I think that Inuyasha is already a little jealous of Hojou, because he saw the picture of him with Kagome and her friends in her room when she was sick.

I just went to half.com and it didn't have the second inuyasha movie. Also, it seems that on half.com the episodes come out quite slowly. Wow, the DVDs are so cheap! How come they're so cheap? Aren't they usually like 30 bucks or something? And they're subtitled right?

How did you like the second movie? I thought the first one was bleh. It wasn't even written by rumiko takahashi. Thats why the jokes were different. I didn't really like it that much as by the time I saw the movie I was like on episode 80 and it just seemed like a longer episode to me.

For some reason, sometimes shippo kind of annoys me because he's weak. Well, he actually has some power in 106, but it's not like he can really do anything. I think they should make him get a new power or something so he's not completely useless when he fights. Hm... I think i'm going to change my avatar and desktop to Sesshomaru now. haahha.

I haven't seen the other side of Sesshoumaru yet, but I don't know if I want to. I like him as he is, cold and ruthless. I like him the way he is, plus, I will get really jealous of Rin.

OMG! You have to see movie 2!!!! It's really good and I liked it way better than movie 1. If you wanna know what it's about, let me know and I'll post it up. If I can't find what I want at half.com, I look on ebay. I bought a box set of the DVD ep.1-30 for, like $20 bucks! And the movies? $15 bucks each including shipping. It's great! and they we're all brand new, inport from Japan stuff.

yeah, the ending isn't the same as the manga (which hasn't ended). And I liked Doumiyouji in the beginning too, when it was all exciting. then he just got boring... and I thought the anime was too slow. They focused too much on vibrating eyes.

As for Inuyasha... hopefully I wouldn't get bored. With his personality like that, I think there would always be some kind of challenge. I do get bored quickly though. I even like celebrities for like one or two weeks. Jay is definately my longest obession, just because he has so much going on mentally.

I agree, I'd like to be protected too, but at the same time don't wish to have a bodyguard cum puppydog type person following me around all the time! Also, I was wondering. Earlier in the show, the Shikon shards were melded into a chunk by coming together into a body of a youkai right? So subsequently, the shards that they collected later were melded together by Naraku. So do Kagome and gang have the power to make the shikon whole by themselves? Hmmm, I was wondering if Inuyasha could possibly purify the Shikon too? Or can possibly the Shikon could keep Kagome from aging?

Well, if I remember correctly. The Shikon was first melded together by the youkai of the mask in Kagome's world. Before that, Kagome kept the shards in a bottle she carried with her. After that, she wore the entire chunk as a necklace, but they didn't show how they kept the subsequent shards they found. Later on, Kikyo gave what they had of the Shikon to Naraku and by the Shikon was almost whole again in his hands.
Anyway, it's dilemma for me. I really don't wish Inuyasha to become a human. Yet, there's no way for them to be together if he doesn't.

It could prevent ageing. I was rearranging my files and began rewatching all the episodes. There was a black miko who wanted to get hold of the Shikon in order to preserve her youth, remember?
Anyway, I found it quite interesting that the various fan-subs were criticising each other over who did the better translation. It was amusing to see things like "X group sucks at translation, get ours instead". John "Art brings us all together" Lennon would be turning in his grave.

Yep. They added those at the intervals between the show. If they worked together, maybe I'll get to see more versions on Kazaa. It really sucks when you search the whole of Kazaa, and the only version on the internet has lousy video quality that ruins the rest of my collection.

Personally, I dont think the episodes dragged on because they're so FUNNY. Crap like fushigi yuugi and Sailormoon (okay, sometimes they're crap, sometimes they're good) had episodes that dragged on and werent interesting but as for Inuyasha -- I think those episodes help with the character development. Well, it kept ME interested.

They did, actually. It was around the 100s (I think 90-98 eps)?? that were somewhat filler episodes. But I didnt mind at all because it talked about Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship a little.
Oh I remember now, after the episode with the 3 little monkeys it goes on mini tangent for 3 episodes or so. They were supposed to meet the Shinchinintai right after that (because I read it in the manga) but in the anime it deviated a little. I just watched 109 and it's back on track.

Has anyone watched 109 yet? Fobgirl... it's pretty good... it talks a lot about kikyou, inuyasha, and kagome... and it was pretty funny cause Kagome gets pissed. It was the worst that I've ever seen her get pissed! OMG! Even I was scared!!!

Kikyo dies! Okay, had to get that off my chest. In the manga, Kikyo dies...of course whether she's really dead or not is another issue. Should be coming up in the (episodes) 120s.

I thought of something today. If Inuyasha has those dog ears on the top of his head, does he have human ears too? If so, does that mean he has FOUR ears? And I looked in the pictures, you can never see if he has the two human ears! However in the pictures when he turns human, the human ears are there. And how come Sesshomuaru has regular human ears and he's full demon? How come Inuyasha has demon ears when he's half human? And could you imagine touching a guys face... and him not having ears?!

Okay, maybe the reason Inuyasha has dogears is because he is half demon. If he was full demon, then he'd have elf ears like Sesshomaru when he's in human form. As for the human ears Inuyasha has when he transforms into a human, well his ears probably just go from doggie to human.

By the way, I think he's gonna turn human for Kagome. My own personal opinion, but he was willing to do it for Kikyo and they never fully trusted each other. kagome on the other hand, fully trust Inuyasha and he trust her.
