I detest EEG artists

I'm not even SURE I should call them artists. They do nothing but sing off tune and then use their pretty faces to attract attention. The EEG artists attract attention for awhile, then they are out. Then they release all these products with their faces on it. You see all these HK students going crazy and buying the stationary...

I can say that Joey Yung is an exception, I do like one or two of her songs, but why getthe plastic surgery? Can't celebrities be satisfied of their looks and sing good?

Let's take TWINS for example. It took them 6 years to learn how to sing - sorry correction. It took them six years and they STILL don't know how to sing.

And then Sun Boy'z... omg help. What IS Steven doing in there? Boy'z songs aren't even good. They went out long time ago.

I can't believe that Raymond Lam joined.

BUT! however, the rest of them are like... :bang: i agree about the twins part. and of all the rest, okay isabella can act, but she can't really sing too. as for SunBoy'z. in the past Boyz could survive cos of Kenny. (i liked steven too. but just a little.) now... well. they're half dying already.

i can totally see why Ed hates EEG. i mean, he really has a reason to dislike them. so much so that he wants to beat them. so, go Ed! EEG banks on the artiste's looks. and it's how EEG promotes their artistes that makes them successful... so technically, it's not the artistes who are good. it's the advertising strategy.

I like Kenny as well, although I wouldn't call his singing top notch. Isabella seriously cant sing, her voice sounds like a chicken. I wouldn't say her acting in Spider Lillies was that bad though. Sun Boy'z are 3/4 dead. Twins can't act at all. <-- Like OMG HELP. I hated ALL THEIR movies.

Oh and look at Steven's sister. Her group Krusty or something is now dead.

I heard from my friends that all EEG artists sell their bodies to keep thenselves popular or something.

And we dont need Yumiko to flash her body parts on TV.

If you see Kenny Kwan live performance then you'll know he really cant sing live at all. He is totally out of the tune. Even the finalist candidates in any singing competition can sing better than him. May be hs is nervous or what...but that's what i experienced from his live performance

anyway yeah kenny can't REALLY sing but at least his album sounds pretty okay. as compared to like... twins. i've listened to their albums before and i can say that... well the tunes are pretty nice and catchy but the singing's really mediocre. amateur. WHATEVER. :whistle: i do like them a little. (basically cos i quite like charlene. :X )

but oh well. eeg is there to... hmm. pretend that hong kong has a lot of talented artistes. but the real good ones are those older generation or those who aren't as popular.

It's true that EEG is full of no talent. They're just puppets, they milk whatever the hell they can out of them within a year and hope that they're still popular.

Well, from what I see, the HK music industry seems to be dominated by EEG now so probably the rest of the artistes, especially the new and upcoming ones will join them since they have the money to pump up publicity. What about Eason Chan? Was he previously from EEG?

Did he then move out from there? Honestly, I think Joey Yung can sing BUT she's totally over-rated. I mean, ... is she really pop queen material?

Yes, Eason Chan from EEG last time. But only for few years...if i not mistaken then he quit EEG since his wife pregnant.

About Joey Yung, i really dont know why she was signed for 15 years with EEG. Between the time, she really need to listen and follow whatever the company asks if not will be frozen. Yes, i agree with cacky. Joey really over-rated even she really has the talented. I hope this year female award dont fall in her hand again...or may be HK music industry no other female competitors?? :?

EEG is the main reason why HK music has been in decline in the past decade. But it's at such a low now that it will get better. Trust me. Already there are a lot of good independent music releases these days (though usually not pop music)

I only got to say that this world is very realistic. Seriously, in this world, looks and the rythm / tune of the song is what is the most important in a song.

Not to mention any artists, I believe not only the HK does that. Some TW singers are so well-known when they are not talented at all.

Sun Boy'z released a mandarin album...it was SOOOOO wierd...9 out of the 10 songs were just their cantonese songs, with mandarin lyrics...:wacko:...i hate how artists 'recycle' their songs, and not even bother to get a new arrangement

a lot of the people in EEG are not really good at singing, and i think the only good people in EEG was like the old people..like Roman Tam (well..he's not around anymore)...and some singers that have been discovered through actually singing competitions, and not signed on for their looks...

supporting EEG is like supporting traids and crime because its run by Albert Yeung-who is linked to mainland, north korea commies and is head of traids. i also think the music EEG produces is trash and a big marketing scheme because they release like 6 versions of 1 CD (e.g. TWINS, joey..etc). and im sure albert uses unethical ways to get his artists up the charts.
