Okay First of all before we get started, you need to know the rules and what nots of this Competition.
The moderators for this contest are Me [sushii (http://jay-chou.net/forums/member.php?u=38459)] and Bonnie [jay_is_cute (http://jay-chou.net/forums/member.php?u=6567)]. Please direct all questions/PM to us.
~RULES~
1.This contest is open to all Registered Users+ and above. However, Registered Users may sign up, but will be subject to review and approval. (You'll most likely be approved.) Newbies and guests are not allowed to participate.
2.You can sing any song in any language (it doesn't have to be a Jay song).
3.The length of the song must be between 2-5 mins. Nothing over and nothing less. You have to sing the FULL song.
4.This is a solo competition so no duets or groups.
5.Do NOT post the exact karaoke of a song that you've already posted in the music lounge before! You may sing the same song, but it has to be a new version sung specifically for this contest.
Submissions can and will be denied/removed at the discretion of the moderators. If your singing is too soft, unclear, stolen from someone else, etc..we will give you notice. If you make no effort to change it, it will be removed.
That being said, Bonnie and I are so kind that we are willing to give out a helping hand to those in need (meaning we'll help you mix the tracks)(I will also help you out if you can't find an instrumental) [PM US!!!don't post your stuff for everyone and their mama to see!]
~SUBMISSION~
Please upload your song to sendspace, yousendit, megaupload, or some other file storing site, then PM me or Bonnie the link. Once we download and approve the submission, we will upload it to a special Soundclick account made for this contest. One submission only per person, and once submitted, you may NOT submit changes.
~COMMENTATORS (JUDGES)~
We're not gonna have actual judges that pick a winner for this contest, but rather commentators that will give their semi-professional review of each entry to help the voters pick the winner.To be a judge, you have to be a RU+ and you must have contributed in one way or another in our music lounge or a music lounge of another forum, PRIOR to the contest.
When you're signing up to be a judge, please quote some of your past comments to the singers in the music lounge, so we won't have to hunt your posts down. (If you're comments were made in another forum, just provide us with the links to the posts.)
There will be a limited number of "judges" so the ones with the most contribution gets first privilege.
Contest participants CAN be judges. You may sign up to do both.
~VOTING~
We will hold an open poll for everyone to vote.The voting will last for one week. Participants in the contest are allowed to vote just like the general mass. Every one gets ONE vote. Do not sign up for, or use multiple accounts to vote.
~CONTEST DATES~
Submissions are accepted July 1-14 (as of your own timezone).
All entries will be held private throughout the two weeks of submission. They will then be uploaded onto a soundclick that will be made public when voting begins. This is to ensure all contestants have even exposure.
