Problem is, I don't know Mandarin and I think his English is limited, so... the answer to my problem is to invite his close friends who speak English and Mandarin and beg them to be our interpreter. Then I 'll ask him about things that would get me to know him better like what type of books his reads these days, what music/artist he listens to, his childhood experiences, hobbies other than what we know of already...Ask his friends how they characterize him as a person and as a friend. Hopefully, I''ll share something about myself as well or he could ask me something about me... Have some pics taken (though I really don't like to have pics of myself but I'll make an exception this time) and end it with a KFC dinner or lunch or snacks and hopefully, wrangle a promise from him that we would get to hang out again soon....:bleh: Hmmm, just wishful thinking :happy:
