No, its not corny! In fact I personally think that The Devil Beside You is one of the most effective and one of the most successful manga-based taiwanese drama released. That might just be my opinion, but Rainie and Mike stars as the main romantic couple! How can one honestly reject such a great combination?

and emotional Dramas ! You are going to love it, because it includes
the most important ingredients for a succesful and enjoyable drama:
Love, tragedy,happiness and pleasure
The music by rainie Yang the mainactress is really a catchy tune
you won´t forget
the relationship between Ahmon played by Mike He and Qi Yue (Rainie)
offers miscellaneousness and you see the development in their relationship.
The viewer really gets involved by this tragical love story :wink2:

I hate this drama with passion.

I hate Rainie's acting so much in the drama, her expressions were all so exxagerated and unfunny. However, I liked Mike's acting though.

The Music? OMG KILL ME. I HATE Ai Mei. Hate Hate Hate. It sounds like she's having an asthma attack. And it's played around everywhere... BUT I LOVE the song Chou Nan Ren, really one of the best songs I've ever heard. Yi Niao de An Wei (One moment of conolation) also became one of my favorites.

The Plot was OK I suppose, but I really was just like :dry: at the ending. And the girl that kept going like "Prince, prince" really got on my nerves.

The only thing worth watching in this drama? Not much. The plot coud've been interesting but they dragged it too much and the knitting part just made the drama worst... the manga's worth reading though.

(I have to thank this drama for introducing YiDA to me.)

O.o I love this drama...it's one of my fav...although I've watched only 3 hahaha lol I like the whole story....the angel meeting the devil and falling for him and he falling for her too in the most romantic way ever...this story reminds me that there's anything impossible outthere...you can me the fearless guy and even so he's the bad one he can have nice and warm feelings too...I love it...beside the cast is great...Mike He did a great job...and Rainie is pretty good too...love her acting!! the uncle was so funny!!...I wonder if they're going to film part 2 someday.

I love when they kiss too...Mike kisses very softly don't you think? very romantic!! :happy:

To be honest, I was already disappointed with the drama from the beginning. I didn't know much about it, but from the title, I thought it would be something along the lines of another "Mars," but it definitely wasn't. Well, I guess it's partially my fault for judging beforehand.

Anyway, as time went on, I began to enjoy the drama more (mostly because of the hot male leads) but by the end of the drama I almost wanted to tear my hair out. Rainie's acting is terrible and all she ever does is whine, whine, whine, cry, and then whine again. And she's always all worked up over nothing. Mike's acting is okay, he's just fun to look at. And he seemed so out of character near the end of the series. I actually preferred to watch Kingone and the other girl.

Don't get me wrong, this drama has some redeeming points (besides the hot hot guys =P) and occasionally I did enjoy it. But, I don't know, overall, I don't have a good impression of this series. It became a borefest after a while, and I finished it just for the sake of finishing it.

(as for music, I love the opening theme :rolleyes:, but Rainie's "Ai Mei" gets annoying pretty quickly.)
