This is it! The finals, and here are the songs that made it. Since the semifinal polls were open to the public (which allows multiple votes), there was a bit of discrepancy. So I went by counting the number of JCNet voters only to come up with these 3 songs:

simple love definitely! it's been my favorite song of jay's and it'll always be! it's simple, cute, and easy to sing a long to! (phst, the only song i CAN sing along to. XD)

Wow, this is such a tough poll. I was trying to decide between Simple Love and Cloudless Day. But my vote went to Simple Love because that song is just so innocent and happy. Cloudless Day is also kinda like Simple Love Part II, and it's one of my most played songs on my iTunes. Ahhhh...these songs bring back old memories.

silence. because firstly it came from jay's most prominent album and the one that propelled him into superstardom and gave him his current status in the music industry. and... it showcases his writing and composing skills as well. plus it just rocks. lol. nothing else can represent jay as well as this.

this is super duper tough for me to choose between Qing Tian and Jian Dan Ai but recently my love for JDA is slightly changed lol and I also love Qing Tian MV, especially the cello part <3

It's like Jay's masterpiece (for me at least... :happy:) The melody, the vocals, the feeling... All is just so nicely combined. Such a sad song. Made me cry the first time I heard it... :shy:

Simple Love is so pretty, I love how the lyrics are simple yet so beautiful (I imagine Jay singings them to me:love:) BUT I also SO love Qing Tian because Jay wrote lyrics and i love love them -especially the MV (even though I hate the girl for kissing Jay!) Qing Tian! :shiny: Cloudless Day won over me for it's overall uniqueness. It's sad, poetic, melodious and exceptionally catchy. And it has an attractive music video too. :love:

Wow all 3 songs were written and composed by Jay. Whichever song wins, it would actually be a JAY song ^^

I eventually voted for Silence, even though I really like Qing Tian as well. I'm suprised so many people voted for Simple Love, I know we're voting for the song but the MV totally ruined this song for me, bad female lead lol.

Anyway, I absolutely adore Silence. One of those songs that just really stands out and I think if you mention it to someone who doen't even remotely know Jay they'll know what you're talking about.

Lyrics are touching and he just sang it with so much emotion. GO SILENCE!

Simple Love was NOT going to get my vote under any circumstances, but it was tough between Cloudless Day and Silence.

In the end, Silence got my vote for the pure emotion that it conveys. The simplicity of the lyrics...the piano...this is THE ultimate Jay Chou classic.

I'm a little late to this poll obviously, but I am sooo glad Qing Tian won! Yay! It's my favourite out of all his songs, and it's a damn hard pick I must admit. But nevertheless Qing Tian gives me a really wonderful feeling whenever I listen to it. It melts my heart...... :)

i'm rather late, but i wanted to add my comments as well :sweat: i love all of these songs, but frankly, i'm not surprised cloudless day won. i think qing tian is one of the most well-crafted jay songs, so it has the most widespread appeal. it may not be the best in terms of originality and sound and everything, but it's just a very well done song, and definitely a famous one of his.

like others, i'd be rooting for some of the older jay ones. too bad they didn't win, but oh well :) jian dan ai is just so cute and cheerful. the lyrics are absolutely charming (the only thing is, i wish jay had written them lol), and it's the first jay song i ever heard so of course it has a special spot in my heart. i really loved an jing lyrics though (and jay wrote them this time!). even though they're simple, i feel like they put the feeling of having to let go of someone out of love in a very accurate and poignant way. and piano and strings always sound good :)

oh well. congratulations to all three of these!
