hurmmm i went for East Wind Breaks, but i guess i could have easily chosen Cloudless Day as well but i guess it was a spur of the moment type of thing :D

I voted for Qing Tian only because of its contenders.

I never really liked Hui Dao Guo Chu and Dong Feng Puo. They're nice songs but I like the way Qing Tian was sung, especially at the start using the Taiwanese phonetic alphabet to symbolise Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti ^_^

As much as I loved East Wind Break, Dad, I'm Back captures my attention.

1) It is the first song that scared me the first time I heard it. The organ is really creepy.

2) I love the content of the lyrics... even till now. I would say it is one of the better lyrics that Jay had wrote, from my point of view. (Another one that I love is Ti Tian. )

Man, I liked all of those songs except for 'Dad, I'm Back' is wayy too depressing for me. Like, NOT kidding... that song is so sad. I think I like 'Cloudless Day' the most, though. It has a catchy tune. I agree witih cinsin; I liked the way Jay used the Taiwanese phonetic alphabet to symbolize the 'Do Re Mi' thing. Hope it wins =].

"Go Back to the Past" was one of the very first Jay chou songs I listened to so I guess it remains special to me. But you know Qing Tian's composition's definitely not in the same par as Go back to the past and other works, but that's just my taste!

Anyway, I liked it for its usage of guitar in the song.

Love the melody...which is why whenever I hear the song, I will urge myself to learn the guitar. And its really something different from what Jay composes, unlike the usual love songs.

Looks like everything goes the way I want them to be. This is another easy choice for me. The haunting nostalgia of Cloudless Day stands out from the list. After all this time, Qing Tian still rocks my socks!

I was at a karaoke lounge the other day and as I walked past one of the neighbouring rooms, I heard the sound of a VERY familiar song blasting out the door. "hai yao duo jiu.. " I couldn't for the life of me figure out what song it was, but I knew it was by Jay and I knew that I loved it.

So anyway, when I got back to my room I had to figure out the song, so I went down Jay's song list and got down to Qing Tian and realised, "THIS IS IT!"

It's been WAYYYY too long since I listened to Ye Hui Mei.. since 2005 perhaps? I even momentarily forgot Qing Tian! -_- Anyway, YHM has now been on repeat since that day and I have rediscovered my love for his album, esp. Qing Tian, Ni Ting De Dao and Ai Qing Xuan Ya. They are forgotten treasures.. I always listen to his classics like End of the World and Tornado. I think I'll rank YHM with Fantasy now.

So yeah, in conclusion: I vote for Qing Tian.

I love all those songs,but I voted for Return to the Past because I really like the lyrics & nice harmony & melody in that song.

That poll was a very tough choice because Jay will always have that magic to all his songs.^^

the composition is very well rounded and Jay's vocals are just so emotive... just listening to it you can feel the lyrics (which he wrote, making it perhaps all the more personal?)-- Overall, vocally, composition and even lyrically-- jay fully emotes this beautiful song in which he even penned the lyrics for, definate fave and completely written by jay so even better! <3
