what's happenin in "ni ting de dao" mv?

i don't get it? what're they doing and what r they talkin bout? i can tell it was in canto, but what were they saying? i have got to know! any of u guys can tell me, it'll be great, thnks!!

Sorry i can't translate the words one by one coz my canto isn't that good... But i'll try my best to at least give you a picture of what the storyline of the MV was all about.

At first, there's a scene when Jay's gf's leaving, saying that she doesn't want to see him again (quarrel bout somethin before i guess). At the same time there's another girl watching beside them. She followed the heart-broken Jay who took pics n tried to console back his gf. At the bridge, this girl who has been following Jay offered to help him get back with his girl, n introduced herself as "Kay".

She found the idea to use pics to help get Jay's gf back in good terms with him. But coz they spend alot of time together, Jay started to fall for Kay. Even when he has already gotten back with his gf. While walking in a shop he found a replica of a merry-go-round and took a pic of it. *But i don't understand what he says on the message that makes Kay stops messaging him. Sorry...*

Jay started to miss Kay's messages and waits helplessly everyday, hoping that she'll send him one. Then a guy appeared out of thin air and said to Jay that he n Kay couldn't be/end up together. Kay sends mms bout her whereabouts, so Jay desperately go to every single place, hoping to see her again. At last they met on the same bridge the first time they knew each other. Kay said she's leaving to somewhere *don't quite understand... sorry*, so she just wants to say goodbye...

Okay. Here to offer my two cents worth. Basically this is what I know of the music video.

Jay and his girlfriend are touring in a foreign country. His girlfriend is the girl with the straight long hair. However due to some reason, they quarrelled while on the trip.

The girl with the tied hair who kept appearing with them is actually sort of like a "genie messenger" named K. A genie messenger is a genie who is responsible for bringing the messages that Jay sent to his girlfriend. Hence whatever pictures Jay took with his handphone, K will be able to sort of like have it.

Initially, Jay was unable to see K. However while on the bridge, he came to see and know of K as he broke the phone which made K appear to him. K then tried to help him patch up with his girlfriend by helping him to take pictures and sending them as messages etc. Due to the time spent together, it sort of developed into a triangle relationship as Jay's character was slowly falling for K as well. However, K herself knew that they can never be together.

In between, a new genie messenger appeared to tell Jay that he cannot be with K.

K at the end has to leave Jay. They met for the very last time while on the bridge where they first got to know each other. Then again, Jay met someone who looked exactly like her while at a bazaar.

Yup that is what I understand from watching the music video. Hope that helps. :wink2:

Owh so at first Jay can't see Kay... Coz she's a messanger genie... I didn't catch that. That's why i'm sorta blurred a bit in the opening, why does Jay and his girlfriend don't bother to look at Kay's direction at all... :tongue:

well, at first they couldn't see kay, but the reason they couldn't be together was because she wasn't a real person. she's a genie like gCjs84 said.

From my view:-

Jay and his gf were kinda quarelling.So his gf started to walk away and K who was sort of 'genie messenger' like what gCjs84 said,kept on following where Jay,he still havent noticed he could see K.And then Jay got depressed and started going to a bridge.After that,he got so depressed and started throwing his phone.When the phone broke,K who was sitting there suddenly screamed while following down and Jay got shocked,K then asked Jay how come he could see her.Both of them started explaining about themselves,especially K(she explained to Jay about herself and demonstrated about it).Once Jay(only) knew that he could see K,he started sending messages which were meant to be sending to the genie and apparently his gf received and found it very weird.

Well..since Jay got along with his gf,but Jay like K very much,so 'triangle relationship' arrived.Whenever Jay went,K started followed him,and suddenly when Jay and gf were in some 'antique shop',Jay started taking one 'merry-go-round' photos and sent to K and a bit messages too that goes 'spin around,my happy land',this made his felt suspicious about this.When K received this,she felt sad and disappointed.Jay then once again sent messages and this times appeared a plump genie guy and told Jay that K couldnt be with him.After a while,Jay received like about 3 messages from K that wanted him to met her.Jay got excited and rushed to find her.When Jay arrived(same spot,at the bridge),K explained to Jay why she got sad and disappoined was that whatever Jay sent(which meant to send to his gf this time),K who still be able to see it and went away.

After K went away,Jay received a message(again) which was from K that goes 'Smiling K,Bye Bye Jay'.Meanwhile,Jay went to take a look at the things that sold at some place,found 'merry-go-round' that he saw at that time,it interested by Jay and Jay asked the seller 'Excuse me,how much...'.Before Jay could finished asking,the seller turned and appeared to be the same genie from Jay's handphone,Jay got shocked again,the seller then explained about the product...
