i just had to say that it's not Nelly 50 cent is rival to, it's Ja Rule. and i'm not sure, but i think that he is just signed under Eminem's record label "Shady Records". 50 had been out for a while before he signed with Em but it was when he signed with Shady Records that he gained his mainstream fame.but 50 cent is overrated. so what if he got shout about 5 times?!?! his songs aren't all that good. :wacko:

G-Unit is, i guess, a "crew" of new rappers that Shady Records is producing. 50 cent is more known because he has gotten more publicity then the others. but other members of G-Unit are getting better known(i.e. new song "Stunt 101") they(G-Unit) recently released a cd called "Beg For Mercy".

50 is pretty much a attention-whore right upto now. Starting beefs with Fat Joe (from Terror Squad), Jadakiss, and Nas, in the song "Piggy Bank". Rumored to have a beef with Dre, just 'cause he spent more time on Game's "The Documentary" album than he did on "Massacre". Recently kicked Game out of G-Unit (probably 'cause the West Coast rapper is getting more fame than him in the mainstream rap world) and starting a beef with him as well. And to top it all off, he's gonna leave Aftermath (after one or two more albums I think) and taking G-Unit along with him. The vibe around the hip hop community is that all this beef 50's starting is fake (especially the 50/Game beef), because everyone knows that beef sells. Both 50 and Game's new albums are dropping at nearly the same time, so beef (or diss tracks) are what's gonna give both of their albums a boost in sale. Very lame publicity stunt coming from 50.

Heh, finally copped the The Massacre album. It feels more underground-ish compared to Get Rich Or Die Tryin, but it still has the same old recipe. Make money, women, spend money, nice cars, etc. Top that off with not-so-great flows and rhymes is the reason why he's not one of my fave rap artists. Most of the songs sound alike too =/

Before he was shot, he was actually going to release an album called 'Power of the Dollar.' This was when he had to rely on actual skills.

There have been rumors in fierce circulation about mounting tension between 50 Cent and Havoc of Mobb Deep.

The rumors are greatly exaggerated as they don't exist between the G-Unit mogul and the accomplished producer.

The banter is rooted in Havoc's production with artists like Sean "Diddy" Combs, who once had beef with 50 Cent.

According to Storm, the manager for Mobb Deep, relationships between all parties are fine.

"Havoc, Prodigy and 50 Cent have a great relationship," Storm told AllHipHop.com. "Mobb Deep has toured the world this year, are very wealthy and very happy. Both group members just purchased new homes and more cars to add to their collection."
