I just started watching this series last week and I'm already in love with it! I just LOVE Seths' cute attitude and his funny one-liners. Ben is extremely hot too!! The whole plot deals with some stuff teenagers go through but basically it's just date, drink and fight. But I still love it! So does anyone else watch this series other than me?

I watched the OC since summer...i love the show. but it comes on a little bit too late now so i rarely watch it. only when i have the energy to stay up. it was a nice summer show though! and also the show just seems too perfect...its kind of like a fantasy that people wish they lived in, or maybe its just me. but i like the show though. adam brody is really cute...but i think i prefer ben. ^-^ He looks a lot like russel crowe...

I like the O.C. When I first saw the commercials for it...i didn't think it would be too good. But surprisingly, the plot isnt bad at all. I like Seth, he's funny in a kinda dorky way. But now there's that whole prob w/ Anna and Summer. Personally i think that Seth should go w/ Summer....but hey that's just my opinion. =)

Anyways, I feel sorrie for Seth, he has to pick either summer or anna, but in the end he chooses neither, only to be their friend though. I think that was the best thing to do, so he wouldn't hurt one gurl too badly!!! :thumbsup:

hmm...the series only just premiered in Australia, i wanted to watch it but after the first 5 minutes, it wasn't all that appealing so I stoped watching it. But I might start to watch it again this week, if I have the time.

Oh I finally got a chance to watch that show this week and it wasn't that bad! I really like Adam Brody too..!! He's so cute and I use to like him a lot in Gilmore Girls! I think I would continue to watch it! :)

i like the oc but i think it's too predictable like i can sorta guess what comes next and it happens too also i think they moved to quickly like one minute she meets him the next she's already crying for him..wish they put more thought into doing the episodes cuz i don't really know where this show is going since i duno if it's suppose to be about his life or her life or what...so i'm sorta confused but i still like it ^^ they have a lot of anger issues going on n problems..too much drama lol

i'm actually from orange county, ca... you know, 'the o.c'... i've seen a few episodes of the show and it does have its cheesy entertaining value.. but just keep in mind that the real o.c. is not the o.c. on tv at all... the show really only shows the high end of the o.c. high end being newport... laguna, etc... where's santa ana?

This is the only show I watch religously I swear!
but sometimes I have to miss it because I have a lecture that same night it's on ><;;; but luckily it gets played twice a week on 2 different channels here ^__________^ which helps if I do miss it.

Seth is hilarious and I like him and Summer together, but he and Anna were cute too... as for Ryan he's such a sweetiee and of course he and Marissa should be together.

the OC stands for orange county and the show focuses mainly on the people living there. they're quite snobby since they're all so rich and sophisticated so when Ryan who was from Chino (kind of like the poor side of California) was caught stealing a car with his bro, Sandy, his attorney, brought Ryan home to his house in Newport. at first, his wife, Kirsten did not like the idea of a "criminal" living in there house b/c they had a son, Seth. the people there also didn't accept Ryan at first. but then, after some turn of events, Sandy and Kirsten adopted Ryan and slowly, the people also started to accept him. so there he meets Marissa, who he was attracted to and vice versa, but had a boyfriend then. so basically, that's the OC :happy: many more things happened after that, and i suggest that you go watch it cause it's the coolest show ever. :wink2:

I like the O.C. too! Ever since it aired, it's a MUST to watch it. I knew the series in the U.S. mags. They were really a hit in the states so when I saw it, I'm like: "it's really good!" I try to watch even the replays. Every character is awesome... and their lines too sometimes are funny. I also like One Tree Hill. Chad Michael Murray is a hottie.

Ok, when it first came out.... I was in love with the show!!! I mean its kind of cliche in some parts and the plot itself (poor, troubled kid taken in by rich family, falls in love with rich chick with serious issues who poor, troubled kid gets in trouble with her rich boyfriend and blah blah blah, you get the picture)

But, its how the characters present themselves and how the lines are just written that makes it so good! But after the first season, i didn't really have time to watch it, so i'm kind of in and out of the show now..... the last i remembered was *warning spoilers* Mischa Barton's character mom slept with her ex-boyfriend and did she try to commit suicide in Mexico (wait that was before her mom slept with ex-boyfriend -_-;)

So for those who haven't watched it or even heard or seen or know what the O.C. is, do go and check it out (I will seriously buy the first season when it comes out by the way... I just have to scrunge up some money in the meanwhile ^^;)

I agree, she is VERY pretty. and she seems to down-to-earth at the same time, so thats why i like mischa a lot.

As for the show...i like it. although that probably wont tell you much. i think i like it so much because its somewhat just like a fantasy with so much drama and its kinda like *gasp* so and so is preganent with so and so's baby. I guess its like a huge gossip with twist and turns (although cliche). And plus, theres many beautiful people in the show.

AHH i am so obsessed with the OC. but if it weren't for adam brody/seth, i probably wouldn't like it much. am i the only one who doesn't like marissa? i don't know why but i find her really annoying. and everytime she gets mad at ryan, she just ignores him completely instead of confronting him.

summer bugs me in terms of her never apologizing to seth about being such a meanie to him. like, everytime seth's past is mentioned, she never apologizes for it.

i CAN'T WAIT for the second season to start. i have no clue what's going to happen. ryan can't leave chino because he has to be there for teresa. the only way things can go back to "normal" is if teresa decides to have an abortion.. or she has a miscarriage.

i'm currently watching season 1 of the OC for the third time (i have 12 gigs worth of the OC on my computer. note to self: get rid of them). i am totally re-addicted. third time's definitely the charm. it wasn't any less exciting or any less funny. ah i can't wait 'til the new season starts.

Yue, I love Ryan's sideway look. It's so him! I remembered that there was this particular episode where Seth was making a big fuss about how Ryan can just give everyone this look without saying anything and everyone will know what it means and he just can't do that. I was LMAO coz that is so true! And he can annoy me all he wants coz I have a soft spot for angsty characters. Haha! Oh, and I so hate the fact that he is shorter than Marissa too. Well I thought that i was about time that we revive this thread since the OC has started season two this week!!! It picked up right were it left of back in May, Seth has run away from home in Newport and is now staying with Luke. It seems that everybody from last season is back but from what I heard there are going to be four additional characters this season, plus a few of season one people will be leaving!! i wonder who they could be.

my guess is that it is probably teresa leaving but i won't spoil it for those of you who have not yet watched it.

oh anybody else dissapointed they didn't change the opening?

overall im suprised at what happened in this first episode, i mean there were some things that were expected but i didn't expect them to happen so soon (ryan and teresan and then seth). then there are some things (calib's problem) that were totally unexpected. i think that it is a good start to a brand new season.

Yay! I've finally caught episode 1 of season2. Muhahaha. And yes! They are all finally going back to O.C. Is it just me or did Seth look even cuter than before. Maybe it's his hair. Oh and Ryan lost some more weight? It's amazing how fame can cause people to lose weight so easily. And I love his rosy cheeks, which most probably owe their thanks to makeup.

Christina and [B]zaizai_rox, I personally prefer Seth with Summer than Anna. I don't know. As much as a bitch Summer could be, I can't help but love her. Especially when she and Seth are together. I started watching it last year. From like the third episode. I've been absolutely addicted since then. It's that good <3 I thought last season was better than this season so far. The ending for the last season especially got me, I was just like ":OOO" for about three days after the season finale. I'm a Seth fangirl. He's just so dorky and adorable, I love his humor. I was more of a Ryan person last year until the whole Theresa thing came up.

Though, I dislike Marissa more for getting with DJ the Yard Guy when she claimed that she love Ryan. Yeah, it hurt that he left and got another girl pregnant and all, but if she was just gonna get with someone else three months later then she shouldn't have said she loved him at all. :wacko:

I love Summer. She's just great. She and Seth really fit together, they balance each other perfectly. Summer, I think, keeps Seth grounded and Seth does the same for her when she gets into spoiled-little-girl mode. Though, I really do think that she should get out of denial this season and take the poor guy back. T___T

I've watched it!!! I've watched it!!! But I was slightly dissappointed that *spoilers* Lindsy is Reene's daughter instead of Alex. I mean, I was kinda expecting Lindsy to be Reene's daughter but when Alex and Seth was kissing, I couldn't help but think, how fun it would be if Alex turns out to be Reene's daughter. Then Seth would be kissing his auntie and I could just imagine Seth saying to Ryan with the usual highly exegerrated Seth-mind-blowing-discovery-whine, "I MADE OUT WITH MY AUNTIE!!!" Muhahaaha. Though, I dislike Marissa more for getting with DJ the Yard Guy when she claimed that she love Ryan. Yeah, it hurt that he left and got another girl pregnant and all, but if she was just gonna get with someone else three months later then she shouldn't have said she loved him at all.

I don't mind the yard guy, but I hate Marissa in general. Especially when she lies to the Yard Guy AND Ryan after Ryan comes back from Colorado. She makes me so mad especially with her crazy drinking. I remember in one of the first episodes of the new season she threw this huge screaming tantrum at her mom for some reason and threw her pool chair into the pool. The O.C!! Its fabulous!! I caught it last year. one of my fren actually d/l the whole season 1 from kazaa and she lent me the vcds.. There were 27 episodes and i finished watching every single episode in 2 days! ahahAha.. (dats my personal record). Benjamin Mckenzie is so cute. But yeah, i agree with most peole, marissa's damn irritating, even though she's rather pretty. And...i liked Anna a lot. Tink she's so cool. Bu ti felt the ending was rather stupid, its like there's practically no ending, and the fact that ryan and marissa din get together in the end makes me feel like i've wasted my time watching the show. There's just something about Lindsay's look that I can't put my finger on. I think she looks a bit weird and I wish they would've chosen a better character for that role.

I've finally caught the latest episode of O.C 2 days ago. The one with the whole spiderman rip-off thing that you all were raving about. It is just so lame and funny and kinda touching in a way. And don't summer look absolutely gorgeous in that lemony yellow dress? Haha. But actually what touches me and makes me laugh the most is when Seth is playing "End of the road" while he wallows in self misery in his room. It's just not very macho, eh? But it's so touching that Summer could reduce him to that state. It made me hook onto the song all over again. After so many years. I kept playing that song for the past 2 days and my bro was asking me why I dig out this song after so many years. And of course, that gave me the opening I need to rave and talk about The O.C. Haha. Has anyone caught the latest epsiode where Seth, Summer and Zack went to their comic book (or as Seth had insisted, Graphic Novel) party and then Summer left with Zack. is Zack trying to break the both of them up orwhat? Coz the last scene sure looks like it to me. Oh and is Trey a baddie? The scene with him and Nickki arose my suspicions. But then again, suspicion has always been my second nature. Whatever it is, I sure hope he gets a permanent spot coz he is so darn hot. Those lickalicious lips. Darn. I feel as if none of the loose ends tied up, and things are just beginning to start.

Hide and See ROCKS! That was such a great sequence in the end! They seem to have a knack for doing that... like when they used Coldplay's 'Fix You'... that was awesome... and plenty of moments like that last season too. Lets hope Sandy and Kirsten get back on good terms... bits of the finale could have been better though...Fingers crossed that season 3 rocks... cos i was a bit disappointed with the majority of S2

okay here's a list, because i'm bad at storytelling:

1. in the beginning of the episode, trey is in a coma.
2. kirsten is still in rehab. but at the group session, she tells the group why she started drinking- b/c of her dad. she thought she was never good enough of a daughter, so therefore wasn't a good enough wife & mom. the rehab doctor guy says that by admitting that, she is totally free to go. however, when sandy goes to visit her, she lies and says she doesn't know if she's eligible to go home yet.
3. prosecutors keep questioning ryan, marissa, and seth. they all say the same thing- that marissa shot trey to save ryan. but the prosecutors kept thinking marissa was trying to protect ryan, and that he did it.. because of his background and history, etc.
4. trey wakes up. yay! haha
5. julie keeps worrying that with this kind of thing on marissa's record, she'll never get into college. she's also worried that this'll ruin the coopers' reputation in newport. so she goes to see trey in the middle of the night and threatens him to say "ryan shot me" while holding a pillow in her hand, suggesting that she'd suffocate him if he didn't say it. she offers $20,000 for him to say it, so that's what he tells prosecutors
6. sandy tells ryan the news and that there'll be a warrant for his arrest. he decides to run away. while he's packing, seth, summer, and marissa decide to go with him, that they'd all go down with him. so they take jimmy's boat.
7. while they're on the boat, getting ready to leave, the police catches them.
8. ryan goes to jail for like, a night.
9. marissa goes to see trey and trey tells her that julie gave him money. but with marissa's... charm or whatever, he ends up handwriting a confession. marissa photocopies it and gives one to julie (nyahaha)
10. ryan is freeeee!
11. trey leaves on greyhound bus to las vegas
12. ryan is sad that trey is gone from his life again. but he has marissa now. they kisskiss.

the end!

Ok. I know what I said about abstinence sometime back and BOO! I blew it. Totally. I've downloaded all the latest episodes of OC, Grey's Anatomy and House and some others. Oooh, The O.C. Absolutely fantabulous! I've really been missing it for the past couple of weeks, especially since there's a teacher strike going on in my province. I haven't been to school in almost 2 weeks (not that I'm complaining...), but it gets kinda boring.

I actually started watching The O.C. in the second season. So far, I guess the third season has been pretty good. It is getting a teensy bit predictable, though. Hopefully, it'll regain it's butt-kicking oomph! :oops: Especially with that guy at Marissa's new school. He's adorable....but not as adorable as Sethie-wethie! (Ha.)

So true. I actually missed the episode from 11/3 because I didn't know it was airing again.

But anyway. Yesterday's episode was.. meh. I kept switching channels, which is a horrible sign. I really really like Johnny.. kind of like the way I liked Zach a lot from season 2.
