Lord of the Dance Stars
He is the man responsible for those signature moves that pop princess Jolin Tsai excutes in her hit music video, 72 Changes. Taiwanese celebrity choreographer Yuki Huang has also managed to make dance-challenged popsters look like Michael Jackson on stage and in music video. Journalist Chang May Choon get him to spill the beans on his students....
'Act Tough' Jay Chou
Jay is a very geng(Hookien for acting tough) artiste. On stage he'll only do what he is very confident of doing, like singing and playing the piano.
Dancing is not his strength. He thinks he is no good at dancing, so he always gets nervous before a show. If there is a seqeunce he can't do well, he'll try to strike it off or condense the whole dance.
Or he'll pretend to have hit by a stroke of genius and will suddenly tell me happily,"I have a great idea! Why don't we do this instead of that?"
I'd be like,"Don't pretend! I know you didn't practise enough. You have been brooding over it for days, right?"
But since he already came up with an alternative idea, I'd usually let him get away with it.
MacDawn's Footnote:
I did not put the rest of the artistes in, as they were not as interesting as Jay's (Sorry, 'Vainpot' Jolin, 'Funny' JJ Lin, 'Stunning' Saya, 'Too Tall' Victor, and 'Shy' Toro....... :bleh: )
But Jay is too funny.... trying to think up something to replace the dances he could do well...... and gets away with it!!! :yeah:
