how do you post a link of a website or thread site in a post without showing the website link...

E.G. if i wanted to type in "www.youtube.com" into a post, how do you just get up a link just saying "Youtube"?

I hope you understand what i'm trying to say.... if not i will try and find an example. :tongue:

Hey there :D

You do know that there is a button for "insert link" when you're posting right?
So let's say you wanna post the youtube website up, what you're typing will look something like this;

*note; no space within http://www.youtube.com

The space " " is for the URL of your website, whereas the words between your [ URL="http://www.youtube.com"] & is what you wanna label your site, which in this case is youtube.

So if following your example, it's gonna look like this.

[ URL="http://www.youtube.com"]youtube

Do you get me? :wink2: Sheesh sorry if it sound confusing :oops:
