NOTE: Before you start flaming me, I would like to say that I am NOT trying to cause any trouble here. I am just very curious and highly puzzled by somethings that I see.

Random font colors and sizes, one-liners, and thank you posts. Are they allowed now?

THANKS DEARIE FOR THE NEWS

Quote:
Ignoring people around him (during the interview) expressing their disbelief, he seriously said, “This is the most that I have cycled in my life, I had to cycle almost everyday, I think…this is the biggest breakthrough ever since I started filmed dramas.”
Seeing everyone speechless, Xiao Zhu then told another cold joke, “Ever since I started filming, my driving has become increasingly worse, at first I had to drive, then in The Outsiders I had to ride a motorcycle, in Corner With Love it changed to cycling, next time I think I will need to skateboard, haha.”

OMG SO FUNNY~!

The forum rules stated that we should not post one liners, and do not post just to say thanks. Also, we are not supposed to use random font colors. Does it make this post nonsense then?

Yes I do know it is not a one liner, thank you very much. But a crap 2 liner doesn't make no difference.

There was just a 'Thank you' posted, a quote, then a OMG so funny. I do know that she is a rather active member here, and not a newbie or noob. I am just amazed. That no one ever tells her to stop doing that BUT when a newbie does that, he or she is considered a NOOB. Is this considered prejudice against newbie or favourism to active members?

And no, that is not the only post I have seen, nor is she the only member who is doing this. More similar posts can be found in the Hana Kimi, Luo Zhi Xiang or FLH threads. To put it simply, any thread that the few users frequent in have crap.

LOL.

I DIED-ED X2 & ROSE AGAIN & DIED-ED & ROSE AGAIN.

why so nice?!

Cool! How did you do that? :glug:

it isn't that hard to find, really.

No offence, I know Jay-chou.net has a reputation of being really neat, and I am still impressed, but I think the FLH, Luo Zhi Xiang and Hana Kimi threads are spoiling the reputation of the forum. And newbies might also feel that since a veteran member does this, WHY CAN'T I? I am not saying everybody in those threads are all like that though.

Before you say 'You don't have any idea cos you don't know how much we love them', I want to say that I do like them too. But I dont want to butt into the threads as they are starting to get totally off-topic, and all messages are addressed to a person.

Haha I am probably the public enemy by now and I am prepared to be banned anytime, but at least I have said my piece. Reputation points don't mean anything to me so I dont care. My friend (who reccomended me to this site) warned me never to post one liners and start random threads in wrong places, so I hope I didn't do anything wrong now.

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to read this. But bleh, I bet it wouldn't be regarded since I am just a newbie.

Have a nice day.

Hi xiaoen, thank you for your feedback, this is really something that i am not aware of.

I agree with you on what you have said, especially on the one liners and the off topic comments. And of course, they will not be tolerated here. So don't worry, nobody is gonna ban you or something just because you are making a genuine observation on what has been going. In fact, i am more than glad to see this because the forum is huge, and sometimes it does get a little hard to moderate everything in the forums.

Just want to add on, you can also make use of the http://www.jay-chou.net/forums/styles/jcnet-Still_Fantasy/buttons/report.gif "Report Post" button under the poster's profile to let us know if there is something wrong. Of course, you have to provide a valid reason, otherwise it's just abusing it. And don't worry, your identity will always be confidential. =)

As for the threads mentioned, we will look into it. Once again, thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. =)

Hi there xiaoen, thanks for your feedback once again.

Like what cats pointed out, it is something that many of us are not aware of. It is a very large forum and sometimes, things like this tend to slip from our eyes from time to time. So we really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and acting as our eyes while we didn't notice it.

I can assure you that you'll not get banned or neg reps or anything negative of that sort.

Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention! =)

Hi to all.

After reading this, am i wrong to say that i cannot express my feelings out to other people posting on the same thread that i appreciate their post and i really think its a good one that i have to reply saying thank you and that the post is funny to me? And that i cannot voice out my thoughts and feelings and views on this forum like 'I LIKE HANA KIMI......and im really thankful there's this thread to share the information...........'

Please enlightened me as I do not wish to be considered a noob and getting ban for posting stuffs that considered as crap to others.

Thank you.

Yes, if you are only posting just to say thanks, i actually consider it to be a one-liner. Imagine someone quoted a chunk of a news article, and then says a "thank you", how would someone who is looking for information in the thread feel? So yup, instead of only posting to say thanks, you can also go on and discuss/share information about the new article as well. Which serves the purpose of an artiste thread, isn't it? =)

And I understand it's common to go off-topic once in a while, so yeah, we are flexible and will close an eye to it. If it's a complete off-topic chat session spanning over a few pages, then of course, that is not acceptable.

That is a great thread that you posted xiaoen. It's funny because I am also known as xiao lol.But back on topic,I completely agree with you.

Because I'm a new user who always tries to follow the rules & respect the moderators. But when I see a veteran posting thank you's & one liners & nothing is done. Then I feel less important & that my opinions don't matter as much.

But yes it is a gigantic forum & posts are often overlooked. So I just wanted to show my appreciation to you for speaking out on behalf of newbies such as myself.^^
