Honestly I moved Final Battle between 3-4 categories before deciding to just stick it here. :oops:

caught between Love's Cliff and Always head North...I chose love's cliff but now that i think about it, i think i actually might like Always Head North better :oops:
Love's Cliff has a great chorus, Jay's voice just sails when he sings it
but Always Head North might have a better tune overall...err...

aaahhh, this was probably the hardest poll to vote for so far for me >.< i was so stuck between silence and stranded. they're both favorites of mine.. but i ended up choosing silence. although stranded is my favorite song, silence got my vote anyway. it's a classic. lyrics are beautiful. it's the epitome of a ballad.

i had a hard time deciding whether i should choose an jing or yi lu xiang bei but in the end i went for the initial d song cause the opening guitar strumming is just so super duper nice . gives me goosebumps whenever i hear the strong opening . plus i put it on repeat for days before. x)

i kinda like silence but grew sick of it for a period of time years ago. a jay classic .

I voted 'An Jing [Silence]' because that was my very first Jay song. I cried when I heard it, then decided to check out more of Jay's music. That song is the reason for my Jay fandom today. And ever since then, it's been one of my faves. :D

4 of my favourite Jay songs are up there, it was SO hard to choose! Voted for Ge Qian coz it's one of my favourite songs to sing, and I was very impressed with the vocals and MV. :)

However, I think An Jing definitely deserves to win this category, it's so raw and emotional.

It was between yi lu xiang bei, split and silence for me. Last battle to a lesser extent as well. Split is just so melancholic - it's brillant in a quieter sort of sense. But I pick yi lu xiang bei in the end bcos when i think abt soft rock ballads, it has to be the one.

This was easier for me than the other one. It's just a fight between Ge Qian and An Jing. At first I didn't like Silence because I found it too mellow and boring. But its soporific melody, haunting piano beats and taunting lyrics got into me and took over Stranded's spot in my heart.

OMG. this poll is sooo hard to choose. i love practically all of the songs! Silence was the song that got me looking for Jay's songs in the very beginning, but it sorta got boring after too many listenings. Split is really nice but it's a wee bit too slow. i love the piano in Love's Cliff, the use of gun sounds is cool in The Last Battle and Excuse is nice too. But it was the hardest to choose between Stranded and The Road North. Stranded was once my favourite song after Jay released the Common Jasmin Orange album, as it's so touching. but i must say that i got really hooked to The Road North. i don't know why, but seriously, that song is my favourite song ever, even until now. so yeah, The Road North's my choice!

I won't despute the fact that An Jing should win this.. but my personal favourite would have to be Stranded.. so I voted for that.. due to the fact that my attention span is alot less than 5minutes and 34 seconds... :sweat:

If i had to vote again between Yi Lu Xiang Bei and An Jing, i'd definitely go for An Jing :D because An Jing was the first chinese song i learnt.. sorta sentimental value there :happy:

Ooh tough choice for me between An Jing and Ai Qing Xuan Ai, even though I wasn't crazyinlove with it at first An Jing is classic but I love Ai Qing Xuan Ai, especially the chorus, Jay sounds amazing.
