I know that this album has been out since late last year, but I always forget to do a review for it. It's one of the top ten favourite albums in my list. Jiro Wang Dong Cheng, Arron Yen Ya Lun, Chun Wu Zun and Calvin Chen Yi Ru all capture your heart by singing so good, that it moves a girl's heart. That's why all the songs are rated in the 5 stars, 4 stars region on my iTunes.
3 members of Fahrenheit started off by acting together in the comedy drama, KO-One, and then the main male lead in Tokyo Juliet joined to form the band. The released their debut in many, many versions (which is the bad thing about this album - it's as if HIM is trying to tear away the fans money. I suggest that you buy it, listen to it and then watch the videos online instead of buying the exact same version...)

First we kick off with the energetic I Have My Youth (Wo You Wo De Young). It sets off like a bang in the album, first being quieter, then increasing in volume and then suddenly you have the four members singing "每當我的目光 鎖定你的目光". I suggest that you listen to the lyrics as it describes about Youth, it's really interesting. TANK did a FANTASTIC job in composing the music. I highly recommend this track if your in need of a happy moment, or you feel really high.

Then the atmosphere shifts to a sad Summer Snow (Xia Xue). The title of the song explains it all, about a guy looking at the girl with sad eyes kinda thing. I admit that I occasionally cry when listening to this song, the members (Espeicially Ya Lun) sing it with so much feeling. Another great song composed by TANK (I recommend his albums as well but I won't talk in long detail about him here as this is a review of Fahrenheit ) I absolutely LOVE this song

The have the insert song for Wu Zun's debut drama Tokyo Juliet called Only having feelings for you (Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue). Sung by Fahrenheit and Hebe from Asia's top female group S.H.E. When i first heard the name of this song I thought it was a sad love song again, but the "Sailormoon theme" kind of music in the beginning surprised me. I admit that I didn't like the song at the first time I listened to it, but then if you listen to the lyrics, it's quite cute and fun ^^ I still don't attach myself too much to this song though. I think JJ Lin composed this song - I'm not too sure. By the way, this is a hit song that lots of fans like...

Wandering Alone (Yi Ge Ren Lou Liang) is the insert song and the song for KO-One. It's a bit like Xia Xue, only that this song is more slower, draggier and mourningful. Talks about a guy wadnering alone... you know those types of songs. Soothingly good, I will recommend it if you've just broken up with your boy/girl friend or you feel sad and your in comfort for something.

And then the album launches into the Guy loves you, I'll do anything for you atmosphere. Finding happiness for you (Zhao Xing Fu Gei Ni), FINALLY there's guys that care about a girl's feelings. But I've been wandering why they sing this song so sadly when it's a love song? A beautifully written piece of music again, but it seems so sad that it just doesn't click with the lyrics. However, the singing mends the holes in the song.

Ai Dao, Ai Dao~~ (Ai dao, Love Until). If you've been in the Fahrenheit or in the HK thread, you'll be surprised to find Ai Dao's all over some members posts (Wenmei, Pearlie and Corrie XDD). A cute, happy love song (What we fans needed since Fahrenheit is almost going to break our hearts in singing so sorrowfully and sadly). This song is one and STICKS INSIDE YOUR HEAD ALL DAY LONG. Ai Dao~ Ai Dao~ ai dao nao hai li you yi wan ge ni kuai bao diao. You can almost HEAR Fahrenheit singing this song FOR YOU next to your ear (Well, ignore the headphones). A romantic melody - way better than Jay's Romantic Handphone which almost caused me to rip out my hair in fustration (I'll describe the process another day).

There never seems to a Exit (Chu Kou) from listening to Fahrenheit's songs, right? The song Exit may not sound as catchy or noticeable since it's draggy, and the climax is not as strong, but it has good sad, moving lyrics

I was puzzling why they had a song named See you on Febuary 30th (2 Yue 30 Hao Jian) when I got my album. When I listened to the song at first, it sounded happy, relaxed etc. But then when you listen to the lyrics, it's really sad. Maybe the produces got the melody for Finding Happiness for You and See you on Feb 30th mixed up? But the computer effects on this song is heavy, if you listen to it closely.

After Xia Xue, it was Please Leave before I regret it (Qing Zai Wo Hou Hui Zhi Qian Li kai Wo) that made me have the most memories. I won't go into the details of why. But I kind of feel guilty when I read the lyrics. The melody, again, is good but I think that Fahrenheit could've done a bit better and put more emotion into their voices when singing this song.

OK every album has it's worst song - I don't like The mystery that never dies (Bu Xi Zhi Mi). Please forgive me in the translated title of this song, as I don't know HOW to say it. When I hear this song, it's like Ouch! In my ear. FLH practically shouts in your ear at the chorus part >< However, if it was only Wang Dong Cheng singing this song, it would've been better since he used to be in a rock group

All in all, this is a good album, most of the songs were loved by me.

Recommended Tracks (In album order):
I Have My Youth (Wo You Wo De Young)
Summer Snow (Xia Xue)
Wandering Alone (Yi Ge Ren Lou Liang)
Ai Dao (Love Until)
See you on Febuary 30th (2 Yue 30 Hao Jian)
Please Leave before I regret it (Qing Zai Wo Hou Hui Zhi Qian Li kai Wo)

okay, i'm here to give my afterthoughts about the hottest boyband in Asia, the next F4 to be exact or even better - FAHRENHEIT.

firstly, this album is like many debut albums of boyband. slow songs, fast pased, mid-tempos ones, you name it, they got it. :-)

first & foremost, Wo You Wo De Young (I Have My Youth/Young) gives out a very youth-ly feeling. it makes a person's adrenaline rushed when you hear this track. espcially when you're doing exercise. try listening to it. it'll boost your energy! :bleh:

secondly, Xia Xue (Summer Snow). it's actually a pun. the pronunciation of the chinese characters sounds like 'Xia Xue' means snowing, but in fact, the actual meaning of the song title is the opposite. & another wonderous thing about the title is that it's an oxymoron. how can snow come during summer?
therefore, this song is depicting a past relationship during summer time. very melancholy sad, & beautifully written lyrics.

thirdly, Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue (Only Have Feelings For You). A very hip song composed by JJ Lin. it's the ending theme of Tokyo Juliet that starred Chunnie & Ariel Lin. Nice plot but ridiculous ending. it's a fivesome duet with Hebe (S.H.E). a very catchy & likeable song, it makes you wanna bounce along with them.

fourth, Yi Ge Ren Liu Lang (Wandering Alone) . apparently, i dont listen much to this song, as it doesn't interest me. :wink2: basically, it's talking about a lonely person & the feelings he had when he is alone.

fifth, Zhao Xing Fu Gei Ni (Finding Happiness For You). it's a remake of a english song - Talk To Me. well, at first, i thought it was a very "happiness" love song. (same as you Cat) but we were all wrong. from my knowledge of this song, it's actually, saying about this guy wanting to find happiness for his loved one. i kinda like the lyrics.

sixth; Ai Dao (Love Until~). I LOVE THIS SONG TO BITS BIT BITS BIT, I LOVE IT SUPERB DUBER VERY ALOT! okay, Cat has mentioned that if you were to come to Feifei thread, we have loads of feifei fans swooning over this song. :bleh: && not to say, i am one for the fangirls. definitely, when you listen to this track, you just feel so loved.
never had i once heard a track that much in my life. i think i heard over 300 over times. while listening to radio, my ipod, my itunes, even on MTVs, i would never once missed this track. it's simply a BEST track in my list.
listen to it, & you'll have the 'I wanna fall in love' mode. :cloud9:

seventh; Chu Kou (Exit). this is Chunnie's favourite song, therefore it has also became my favourite track. actually, i dont listen to this track, but after watching the MV, i was deeply hurt by the lyrics & the very first voice i heard when the song start. it was Bubu (Arron) that started off, & boy, he sounded so... deeply hurt. a wonderful sad song, that when you are depressed & wanna cry out loud. hear this & you'll cry.

eighth; 2 Yue 30 Hao Jian (See you on Febuary 30th). the title seem funny to me. because there isn't a Feb 30th. :wink2: it sound happy & relaxing to me. But, somehow the song title tells me that the characters inside ain't gonna meet? because 30th Feb dont exist? :worry:

ninth, Qing Zai Wo Hou Hui Zhi Qian Li kai Wo (Please Leave before I Regret). trust me, i can cry while listening to this song. it brought back many sad/happy memories for me though. the first sentence sang by Jiro (DongDong) really said straight to the point. & not to mention part of the lyrics went - Gen Ni Ai De Ren Zou, Yuan Liang Wo Bu Song (Leave with the one you love, forgive me for not sending you off). That sentence was ultimate.
WAHHHH~ *huges Cat & cry*

tenth; Bu Si Zhi Mi ( mystery that never dies). Okay, i never listened to this song. because it aint my type of genre though. so no comments.

eleventh; Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue Remix. it just brings out more of the catchy feeling of the song. good for parties & discos. :brows:

-------

in conclusion, I LOVE THIS ALBUM TO BITS!

As much as I love Fei, i don't think this album is good. yeah. bad vocals bad dancing. nothing else to say. they're just hot guys.

i prefer tank's versions of the songs he wrote for Fei.

Thanks for writing a review and getting the ball rolling!

Actually, I think this is a decent album, though far from the best. All the songs are typical boyband songs, nothing too challenging, nothing that really stands out in terms of singing or lyrics. But its a pleasant listen if you just take it for face value. And if you're the fangirl type, the songs will just make you melt! I guess I'll go for a short review of each song:

1) Wo You Wo De Young: This song is catchy and makes you want to dance, BUT their vocals are terrible here, especially during the chorus. Although this is one of their main songs off the album, I usually skip this one.

2) Xia Xue: When I first heard this song, it was LOVE. I was extremely addicted to it. The lyrics are pretty too. Their singing is better in this one, and the ad-libs by Arron at the end are always a nice listen.

3) Zhi Due Ni You Gan Jue: Although another main song of the album, the only voice worth listening to in here is Hebe's. Has a very catchy tune though, thanks to JJ.

4) Yi Ge Ren Liu Lang: A very soothing song to listen to. At first I hated this song, but I've grown to love it because of the lovely chorus.

5) Zhao Xin Fu Gei Ni: This is one of my favorites off the album. The mood of the song is great and it has nice lyrics. However, after a while, it gets boring due to the overly pop style of the chorus. Maybe it's just me.

6) Ai Dao: I'm a 100% Ai Dao lover! I can listen to this song forever and not get bored of it. I love the chorus. Their voices sound really good in this one. I'm guessing it's due to the magic of the studio, but I don't care, I love this song!

7) Chu Kou: A very sad song. The melody is great to listen to, good enough to overlook the mediocre, leaning bad, vocals.

8) 2 Yue 30 Hao Jian: Not bad not good. Not much to comment on.

9) Qing Zai Wo Hou Hui Zhi Qian Li Kai Wo: Bad. Terrible. I can't stand this song because of the terrible vocals. The attempts at harmonization are jarring.

10) Bu Si Zhi Mi: I actually really like this song. It's a fresh breath of air. The chorus can become repetitive, but I really like the part before the last chorus.

11) Remix of Zhi Due Ni You Gan Jue: Nothing special. The original is better.

Recommended Songs:

Xia Xue
Zhao Xin Fu Gei Ni
Ai Dao

My first time writing a semi-comprehensive review. Hope it was okay. Ah, I love procrastinating in the name of Feifei! :D

edit: err, how come half points don't show up. I rated lyrics 3.5 and vocals 2.5, but they just show up as 3 and 2....:?

Hmm, I've known Fahrenheit for quite sometime but I only like them recently after watching Hana Kimi.

Well, I won't comment song by song because I will skip some tracks because I don't really like it.

The first song I really like was Ai Dao. Their vocals there sounds really soothing and the R&B feel suits them. I think they should sings more of these songs.

Later on, I grew to like Zhu Dui Ni You Gan Jue. Their vocals are pretty flat, but luckily Hebe's voice helped to bring out the song. When they sang the song without Hebe in performances, I found it rather bland. But they have already improved since their debut.

And the next song i love is Xia Xue. A very sad and beautiful song. Fahrenheit suits ballads too.

Wo You Wo De Young is a very typical boyband song which I think it's normal. But I thought the title sounds alittle cheesy.

I liked Zhao Xin Fu Gei Ni's tune, but I felt the chorus was rather cheesy. I don't know why I felt so, but singing English there sounds weird. It's really a pity because I love the guitar accompaniment in the song.

Lastly, I grew to like Chu Kou. It's a sad song and overall the tune is pretty nice. Another recommended ballad.

I practically listened to only these few songs and just skipped the rest.
Well, they really need to improve on their vocals. And they are indeed coping and doing much better so far! Their live performances are getting better already. :wink2:

Last but not least I would recommend Xia Xue, Ai Dao and Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue.

I won't give a review because........................
Well let's just say that the songs grow onto you, but they aren't the immediate catch-ons :wink2:
GAAHHH I don't really know what to say, as much as I wanna write one thousand-word essay, it seems pointless because it'll be plain flattery of every song because of the crazed fangirl affair.
But point made; Ai Dao's mv is crazily insanely good. That's definitely a must-listen, must-watch, must-bring tissue mv

My fave member of Fahrenheit is WuChun. Even though i love Chun alot, i must say that his singing is the worst of the lot, cuz he has no experience in singing prior to releasing this album. Basically i think he really needs to train his vocals if they want to release another album.

Personally felt that the best singer of the group is Aaron, cuz at least he sounds like he's singing. Effort has been made to get Tank and JJ Lin for the songs. Hebe's duet with them was a hit, but it only emphasized their weak vocals when compared to hers. I like Michael Lin's arrangement for Ai Dao, it was well harmonised. Is a good thing that the cd came with goodies like dvd snippets.

Overall, my fave song is "I have my young" cuz it showcases the energy of the boyband. HIM has produced a great girlband S.H.E, i hope Fahrenheit will mature smoothly like their seniors. Buy this only if you have lots of money to spare and want some eye-candy.

I first started noticing Fahrenheit was through S.H.E (H.I.M loves to have the seniors bring juniors with them to introduce them to the public, it worked well :D ). I'm pretty sure most people (i.e. fangirls) LOVE them because of their charming looks  and their vocals didn't matter much. True, their vocals sucked :worry: Though I would say that it's not ear-bleeding, just not very smooth and "together".

First song I heard from them was Only having feelings for you (Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue), featuring my beloved Hebe. This is the first song I've heard from them, obviously because of Hebe. Anyhow, I think this first song I heard from them didn't give me a good impression of them. Since anyone could tell how much Hebe's voice stands out and totally beats FOUR guys down. It sorta created a contrast ya know? :? Other than the vocals, JJ did a great job in composing a catchy song. I loved it

After actually listening to the whole album, the songs that caught my attention were I Have My Youth (Wo You Wo De Young), Summer Snow (Xia Xue). and Love Until~ (Ai dao).

I Have My Youth is just a typical boyband song so they come out performing it with lil dance moves that make fangirls scream like crazy. It's a catchy song and I think FLH did a good job in portraying this song, not that there was much difficulties to start with

Summer Snow, I loved the tune, probably my second favourite song in the album. An oh-so-sad love song with a great music background. Not much to say, I just like it :D

Ai Dao, An extremely memorable chorus that everyone remembers "Ai dao~Ai dao~~" a really comfortable tune that paints a picture of walking in a quiet woods hand-in-hand with Chunnie  Along with the tune are sweet sweet lyrics of sweet swet boys in sweet sweet love. SWEET SWEET SONG!!

Last song to talk about is Finding happiness for you (Zhao Xing Fu Gei Ni), I really didn't notice it at first, until my friend told me how addicting that song is. The opening guitar was one of reasons why I love this song..and then its that "Talk to me~Just talk to me~we have to be~~" Another addictive line after "Ai dao". My third favourite song in the album :-)

I'm not even gonna talk about the other songs, they're just songs to make up the tracklist

Just to add a last note to their vocals. Most of the solo lines in the album are sang by Arron and Jiro, who are the best vocals, in my opinion, in the band. Chunnie has weird Mandarin and Calvin is just...unrecognizable :glug: so there you go.

In conclusion, listen to it if your a Feifei fan. If not, still give it a try, but look at their pictures at the same time :D

After listening to the whole of this album, I cannot help but admit that Fei Lun Hai do still have to work on their vocals. However they do deliver some of the songs well.
Nevertheless, being the good lookers that they are, they will probably be overshadowed by their good looks over anything else. Then again, there are still some worthy songs in this album.
The recommended songs are -
Wo You Wo De Young - This is a typical catchy boyband song which will probably capture all the teenage girls more than anybody else.
Xia Xue - One of the better songs in this album written by Tank. This song also clearly showcase Tank's talent at composing plus the singing ability of Yan Ya Lun especially.
Zhi Due Ni You Gan Jue - The duet with Hebe from SHE. However, they seemed to be overshadowed by Hebe's singing powers. This song is more remembered for Hebe's voice more than anything else. But it is still a catchy and popular duet especially in KTVs.
Chu Kou - This song is recommended for its lyrics and the nice tune.
2 Yue 30 Hao Jian - This song also have quite unique lyrics and it also shows that Yan Ya Lun is probably the one with the best voice in the group.
All in all, quite a good effort. Although they do not have the best vocals around but I believe their looks more than make up for it in the eyes of teenage girls.

hmm i quite agree with gCjs84. while their vocals may not be the best, a lot of the girl fans will probably buy the album just for some eye candy.

however, some songs in the album were actually good.

wo you wo de young (i have my young) is probably one of the better ones in the album. the beat and lyrics were nice and up-beat, but not so fast that you can`t tell what in the world they`re singing about.

xia xue (summer snow) is another good one. sure, WuZun`s singing is a little hoarse, but once you don`t listen to it just to criticize it, you`ll notice that it kind of blends into the background music.

next is ai dao (love `till). *warning* this song is very addicting. you can listen to it for hours and never get tired of it. trust me, i tried. xD this song showcases dadong`s singing as he sings the most. probably the best in the album.

zhi due ni you gan jue (only have feelings for you) is the insert song for hanakimi and maybe tokyo juliet? while hebe`s solo voice just overshadows fei lun hai`s voices, the song is still great to listen to when you feel the urge to listen to something catchy.

2 yue 30 hao jian (see you on feb. 30th) - while the few beginning notes might sound a little off, it`s still a great song. while ai dao showcases dadong`s voice, 2 yue 30 hao jian showcases yanyalun`s voice. this song also clearly shows that yanyalun`s voice is probably the best in the entire group.

zhao xing fu gei ni (finding happiness for you) is a very beautiful song. especially because of dadong`s guitar xDD haha. i loved the mix of english and mandarin thought. a lot of bands out there try to mix english&mandarin and it comes out horrible. but, in this song, the english just flows with the song. (ahaha i sound so weird)

yi ge ren liu lang (wandering alone) is a sad song that`s about when they seperate and how the memories just overwhelms them. (you can see the full translation in the translation forum :]) sounds familiar? if you watched KO One it should be. :D this song clearly shows who`s the best singers in fei lun hai. dadong and yanyalun! haha. i also loved the guitar in this. :bleh:

all the other songs were ok, but i didn`t quite like them  even though there was a lot of sliding up&down to hit the notes, the album`s pretty good.

so, you should buy this if you love fei lun hai. if not, well just download the ones you like off myspace or something. :]

I think for a new group to be able to have this kind of debut is very good. The songs are not heavenly good or sumtin like that, but it's okay. Many chances if improving in the future. :wink2:

Overall, I really support this group. They're tops on my "frequent plays" list in my iPod (of course Jay's the one on top ) . Go Fahrenheit! :D

i like the lyrics of the songs. my favorites are zhi dui ni you gan jue and xia xue. their voices are nice and suprising. i never knew chun would have such a clear crisp voice haha. i thought he would have a very low bass voice or something. it's very upbeat and i been listening to their album a lot lately (i'm a new fan even though album came out a long time ago)

My favourite song would be Ai Dao, it's just too nice! Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue I prefer the remix, but it's very catchy. I love Xia Xue's lyrics though... Not a good critic at all, am I? But lastly, I would like to say I prefer their latest songs in X-Family's soundtrack.

So i think most of you don't really like this album. Yeap i agree too their vocals and dancing is not very good. But i do really like the lyrics of the songs. Such as I Have My Youth, Summer Snow, Wandering Alone and Ai Dao. This four song is really not very bad. If you listen it carefully you will think it worth to listen.
