JCNet's Ultimate Story

Intro
This activity requires ALL of your participation. We're going to try and write a story together, with each person contributing several parts and seeing what we can come up with!

Rules
1) This activity starts today Feb 3rd, and ends whenever the Battle of the Ultimate Jay Song ends.
2) If you want to participate, PM ME (http://www.jay-chou.net/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=9105) so I can put your name on the list.
3) It will be up to YOU to check if you are the next in line and to post as soon as possible. If you are holding the up the story (do not reply within 24 hours), I'll write something for you and skip to the next person, so please at least check online once a day. This isn't much to ask.
4) Only sign up if you are able to write and come online at least once a day.
5) Make your post at least semi coherent (spell check, grammar) and follow JCNET rules (no foreign languages).
6) Be creative !!!

Faraway

The story is outside of the city / The thick fog cannot dissipate / The dialogue cannot be seen clearly

The computer monitor lit up the space surrounding it, artificially bright in the dark room. Scattered around the computer was the usual things that were placed on a desk, pens, papers, post-it notes, and other daily clutter. When she got home that evening after a long day, she decided to log online to check her e-mail and to visit one of her favorite forums: jay-chou.net.

When she logged into her account, she was ready to see what new posts were around today, and whether there was any news that was released for her favorite singer - Jay Chou, instead, she was first greeted with a pop up that told her she had a new PM.

Being a member of the forum that she barely posted in and lurked on for the info about Jay, she was surprised to see "hi" in the subject line from a username she didn't recognize. She clicked on the ok button and waited for the message to pop up...

Ok here I go!...I wanted to write something simple but interesting about the personage, something that described her...I hope you guys like it.


"While she was waiting for the message to pop up, she started to feel anxious and curious....she only visited the web site to read news or to save some Jay's pictures to her computer...She's shy and doesn't have a lot of friends, that's why she doens't even bother to meet new people in the forums.

She read the PM very carefully, and a big smile appears in her face....with the long day she had it was great to see a message written by another member....this member said "Hi Anne. I'm new here and I hope to meet nice people like you. PM when you read this". She didn't know if the member was a girl or a boy, the name was just the letter "J", "Another fanatic" she thought; but that message made her day really happy, she forgot for a second why she was feeling so bad. Earlier in the morning she had a fight with her mom and she spent the entire day crying and miserable.

She didn't answer it, "What's the point?. Maybe is someone from Canada or something. Even if I answer it...how far our friendship could get?" She keep thinking. Her madness and insecurity made her logged out. That night she wrote in her diary like every night and then went to sleep at 9 pm. Her social life wasn't that excited.

It was a cold night, and she didn't sleep too much. She had a lot of things in her mind, but for some reason she couldn't stop thinking about the message. Maybe she knew that this message was going to change her life completely".

Pushing aside her indecisiveness, she made a firm decision; she was going to reply to that message. Besides, ignoring it would be so rude and she didn't want to make enemies.

Slipping on her bunny slippers, she walked to her computer thinking about her reply. She didn't want to sound fake or even worse, boring. Heaving a sigh, she plopped down in front of her PC like she always did when she felt troubled.

The message loaded and she hit reply. Her fingers hung over the keyboard. What was there to write? Finally touching the alphabets laid out before her, she typed, "Hi J. Where are you from? How old are you? Are you a female or a male?"

Smacking her forehead, she thought,"I couldnt have come off more fake. What am i doing, interrogating a meytery person?!" She ddint know what else to write, however, and gave up trying to think of something even relatively interesting. So she just took a shot and clicked Submit Message.

Whats the worse that could happen?

i'm so sorry i didn't reply earlier. T_T here it goes!!

She was so surprised when she saw a window pop up immediately after she submitted the message that said that she had a PM! "Wow, did J reply back, or am I just becoming really popular..?" she asked to herself.

She cautiously clicked the PM, afraid of what would come up next. The person who sent the PM was J, and this was the reply:

"Hello! I'm glad I met someone over JCNet, I myself am very new on this website, and I'm glad I found someone very similar to me. I live in Austrailia, and I'm 16 years old. I'm a guy, haha. Hope you reply soon!

"Wow, he seems pretty nice." She replied immediately, and this time, not as afraid or shy as before, she typed:

"Omg! That's awesome! I live in Austrailia too! What are your hobbies? Who's your favorite artist other than Jay?"

She clicked submit after that. This time, she knew the message was very boring, but she didn't care. She just made a new friend, and she was glad about that.

Who knew that two strangers who lived in the same country would coincidentally PM each other online, not to mention, they both live in the same city, but they don't know yet..

Ok now it's my turn...the story took me a long time to think aout.here is mine:

''She had suffered enough from misery yesterday, so she decided to cheer herself up.She went to the shop on the way to school and bought a sparkling bracelet with crystals stuck on the string ,forming a brilliant shape of the word JAY.''It looks extraordinarily fantastic! I love it!''She yelled happily, put it in her pencase with a view to showing it to her best friend-Lisa.
The bright morning came with the sun shining gorgerously and the fragnant smell of roses from her perfume.She cheerfully cycled to school.While she was trying to place her bike in the parking lot, the bell rang loudly, reminding all the students to come into class.
''I'm getting late!''-she shouted out worryingly,hurriedly rushed into the corridor at the top of her speed, hoping that the teacher would come late.
''BANG!''.She suddenly bumped into a person who was also running along the corridor.She fell to the ground, and all her books dropped about on the floor, with her pens,erasers and other stuffed things scattered all around."Ouch''-she raised her face, and was paralysed by a baby face with an attractive smile of a guy looking at her.She spoke, with a tiny and indistinct voice,''SORRYYY!'', and immediately stood up, gathered carelessly all her things and hastily ran towards the class, not minding the person standing with a surprised face behind.
"Hey gal...''-shouted the guy. "You-''
''I'm sorry.I'm getting late''-she shouted back,interupting, and disappeared at the corner.
''But...you dropped your bracelet here...'' he said with a lower voice, and maybe to himself ''...and it smells of the roses''.

"Yeah...finish''-She yelled as the bell rang loudly again.It was time for a long break."Let have a look at the forum"-she told herself, took her bag ,got into the library, found a computer and logged in jay-chou.net.
On the screen appeared a bar with a line of words''You have a private message''.She smiled happily.''It maybe the reply from J''-she thought, and clicked, burnt with impatience waiting for the message to pop up.While waiting, she looked at the pencase, searched for the new bracelet.
She didn't believe in her eyes"OH MY GODD!''she whispered"It has disappeared"

Searching around helplessly for her bracelet, suddenly someone came up behind her and said, "Hi, I believe you're looking for this". She turned around anxiously to see the cute guy who she had bumped into earlier and he is holding her bracelet.
"Oh my gosh, thank you so much! i was just looking for this." She quickly snatched the bracelet from his hand.
"Well, i gotta go, see ya." He smiled at her and started to walk out of the library.
She replied immediately, "Ok, bye! and thanks so much... oh yeah, wait, wait, may i know what your name is?" But it was too late. With a blink of an eye, the guy was nowhere to be seen.
(thinking to herself) "How weird was that?"
She slapped her forehead and got back to her private message.

The message said:

"Hi Anne! My hobbies are playing the piano/guitar, and listening to jay's music. My favorite singer besides Jay is Alan Luo, Leehom Wang, Nan Quan Mama, and much more! how about you?" -J

She quickly replied to his message:
"Me? well, my hobbies are basically anything related to jay chou because I'm really obsessed with him. My favorite singer besides Jay is also Alan Luo, Leehom Wang, Nan Quan Mama, and much more ! wow, we DO have a lot of common! by the way, which city do you live in at Australia? i'm just curious. well, bye. "

She clicked "Submit" without a hesitation and smiled to herself. Suddenly the guy from earlier came up in her mind.............

Hm,wad if J is that cute guy who returned me the bracelet.Isnt that fascinating?Oh quit dreaming,that's not going to happen.the thought of J and that cute guy juz flew out of her head when she started reading Jay's latest news in the forum.

finally,the long break was over but there was still no new private message in her inbox.dissapointed,she left the library and went back to her class,with the thought of J lingering in her head.

'Oh my god i have 1 hour of Add-maths before i can get home....how worst can this be?Just when she wanted to complain more,the guy who returned her the bracelete appeared from the corner of the building,with a pile of books.Immediatly,Anne ran to him.

'Hey,you were in a hurry just now,i didnt thank you properly.i was so worried about my lost bracelete!thank you so much fo returning it.' said Anne cheerfully

'No problem.I see you're a Jay fan too huh?

"your bracelet has a J on it. i just assumed that you were a fan," i told her, mentally slapping myself for acting so gay in front of this cute girl.
"oh, okay! yeah i'm one of his fans, are you a fan of him too?"she asked.
Oh man, she is so cute. Those rosy cheeks and that beautiful smile, i can't resist looking at her. i continued to stare into space when she suddenly waved her hands in front of my face.
"hello?! are you okay..what are you thinking of?"
"uhhhh...nothing, just stuff, sorry" oh boy is that embarrassing....
"oh okay, well i never got your name, my name is Anne" she said as you took out her hand.
"Hi Anne, thats a beautiful name.(Thinking:stop that!!! you're gonna scare her away!) my name is jason, and i am a jay fan too! isn't that so cool." okay calm down jason, stop acting so lame!
suddenly a scream was heard coming from my newly formed friend,Anne.
"Ahh! I have to go now. i need to get home before i get in trouble.Bye! it was nice meeting you!" she waved goodbye and ran down the corridor.
this is your chance jason ask her out for a drink!!!
"Wait! do you think we can go out for a drink sometime?" oh boy,i'm so nervous. i've never asked a girl out before...

She raced out of school without looking back at her new-found friend, anxious to reach home. Did he say something as she ran off? Was that his voice? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't staying to find out, her mum was already angry with her and she didn't want to make things worse.

So Anne reached back home, yes, her mum was still angry. As soon as she had time, she switched on the computer and went straight to her JCNET inbox ...

... and felt disappointed. No new messages - where has he gone? Did he find her too boring to continue messaging her? =(

Sadly, she went off to do her homework, which was so boring that she fell asleep and started dreaming. In her dream, she was at her best friend Lisa's house, sitting on Lisa's bed in her room, and Lisa came in and told her that she(Lisa) had a new boyfriend.

"Who???" gushed Anne, enthusiastically. "Anyone I know???"

Lisa blushed. "I don't know if you know him," she said, shyly. "But he's just arrived, and I thought you might like to meet him ..." And without further ado, she swung open the door ... and in walked Jay Chou!!!

"NNNNNnnnnOOOOooooo!!!!!" screamed Anne, waking herself up. "He's mine!! You can't have him!! Not even you, Lisa!!" She shouted, and stopped abrupted. "Oh my gosh, I'd just had a nightmare," she thought, breathing heavily.

And amidst the hurricane, her handphone rang. Without looking at the caller ID, Anne picked up her phone and said, "Hello?"

haha yes I'm next! haha lol here I go guys :-) :

"Hello" she answered and it was Lisa..."Hi Lisa, how are you?...I was dreaming about you haha so funny" and then the two girls started the typical conversation of the night....they lasted like 2 hours on the phone, but they were interrupted by Anne's mom...."What are you doing?, it's like 11 o'clock. Anne you have school tomorrow...for the love of God go to sleep!!!"...."But mom I'm talking to Lisa about something important"...."I don't care, go to bed now!!"...."Ok mom, sorry......Lisa I gotta go, see ya in the morning".

She hang up the phone and went to bed....she felt so bad..."Why my mom always get mad at me?"...and she started to cry. Her mom Julie and her dad Charles divorced when she was 9 and she lived with her mom since then, she rarely sees her dad, only on vacations, he's a busy man. She and her mom are very good friends but they have financial problems and sometimes her mom can't stand it.

She couldn't sleep that night, and as usual she went to the computer to check her PM.....and then...."You have one new message"...she smiled..."Wow it's from J"....it said: "Hi Anne. Hope you're doing ok. This is my cellphone in case you wanna PM me sometimes.Sweet dreams"...."wait! he just gave me his number?!!, so cool"...she couldn't believe it...finally she got a friend on JCNET...she wrote him back to his phone "Ok. Thanks. Anne".

On the next morning she went to school and on the hallway she saw Jason but she's too shy and she didn't say hello..."I'm late for class!" she went away. She didn't notice but Jason saw her too. That day she talked with Lisa about Jason, she was starting to like him but she was scare. Lisa told her that he came from a very demanding chinese family and maybe he won't notice her "that way" because of it...."wow like Romeo and Juliet" she thought.....TO BE CONTINUE....

As soon as class was out, Anne rushed out to the courtyard to get some fresh air.
"Man, i'm glad thats over, Mr. Adam Lee's class stinks..he must be a smoker"Anne exclaimed as you inhaled the crisp clean air. suddenly someone tapped on her shoulder cuasing her to scream and immediately turn around, ready to scold the person from breaking her from her relaxing trance. To her surprise, the culprit was no other than her new crush Jason!
"Ahh Jason!(bright face) you scared me!"

"I'm sorry Anne!I just came over to say hi! i didn't know you were thinking."Jason said with an apologetic look.
(Anne thinking: wow that look is just too irresistable!he is one cute guy"
"Its okay, i wasn't think about much anyway. Whats up?"
"Oh nothing! i just wanted to ask if you wanted to have a drink sometime?"
[think back at what lisa said about him and his strict family] i don't want to get him into trouble, but i really like him. pushing her feelings aside anne said," i'm sorry jason, but my mother is really strict. i don't think she'll let me got out."
"ohh(sad face) its alright..well i have to go, i'll see you around some time."
with that, jason turned around and left with a dissappointed look on his face.
this only made anne feel regret and guilt.

on the way home, anne decides to call J up. taking out her cell, she pressed the numbers that would change her life forever..

Breathing deeply, she told herself,"You've got nothing to lose! go ahead, girl!"

Putting the earpiece close to her ear, she waited for J to pick up.... one ring... two rings... three rings... isnt J EVER going to pick up? she started to wonder how J's voice would sound like... maybe it was the dreamy kind... or maybe he sounds sweet or... maybe... he's a 60-year-old guy interested in minors! that would be horrible!

"hello?"
Startled out of her thoughts, she gasped. "oh geez! Hi! my name is Anne. I'm that girl you met on jc.net. erm... Is this J?"
"oh yeah! hi. Yeah, this is J"
"um... hi. i was just off school and took a long shot at calling you"
"oh. thats cool."

She was walking across the road, smiling to herself and talking to J at the same time... when all of a sudden!

*HONK* watch where you going, you silly girl!

"omigawd, sorry!" Anne apologised at an Audi TT that nearly hit her.

on the other end, J seemed concerned. "you should look out for cars, Anne. People around here are mad drivers. Not as crazy as New York traffic or India, but just as deadly."

Anne blushed, "Yeah... it's just that i was really caught up with talking to you. I was really afraid that you werent telling me the truth. about yourself."

J laughed. "Did you really think i was some 500-year-old grandfather who has a fetish for young girls."

Anne laughed. This conversation seemed to be going well. Time to pop the question.

"J, where do you go to school?"
"well, actually I go to..."

The call ended. Odd. Anne looked at her phone.

OH NO!

Her battery died. Dismayed that she couldnt talk to J longer but happy that she managed to talk to him, she smiled to herself comfortingly and resumed her way home.

As Anne was rushing home to PM J to give an explaination as to why she hung up on him, she thought to herself "hmm...J's voice sound familar, where have i heard it before?" Shrugging off the thought, she quickly raced to her room and turned on her comp.
"Come on! Come on! Load you stupid thing" Anne screamed at the computer impatiently.
"Yes! Finally! Now time to talk to J" excitedly, she logged on to JCNET and PM popped up. [Guess who it was from, yes you got it J]

Anne quickly opened up the message, it read...

Omg Anne! What happened?!?! I was talking to you and all of a sudden you stopped answering! i hope you didn't get hit by a car (no..shouldn't say that, touch wood!!) please reply to me as soon as possible. I want to know if you're alright.


as she read the letter, Anne thought to herself "Aww someone actually cares about me"
she quickly replied to the letter...

Sorry J! My phone ran out of batteries while i was talking to you. you don't have to worry. i'm alright! thank you for your concern. since you're online why don't we talk in the chat room? see ya there...

with that, anne quickly sent her message and click on the chat button at the top of the screen..
after a moment, that seemed like ages, J finally appeared..
Anne couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitment.

this is how the chat went.(they were the only ones in the chatroom)
Anne: Hi J!!!
J:Hey Anne. How are you? I'm glad to know that you are alright.
Anne: i'm good better than ever.
J: that good to hear. so what were you asking me when your phone went out of batteries? i uhh kind of forgot sorry...
Anne: oh its alright. i was asking you what school you go to
J: oh. I go to Sunrise Prep School. where do you go?
Anne: Omg! i go there too!!!
J: wow. what a coincidence.

just as Anne was about to ask for his name..her mom called her down to go eat.

Anne: i'm sorry J. my mom is calling me to go eat. but i'll be back so don't go anywhere k? bbl!
J:alright. see ya then!

with that, anne ate her food in a hurry and raced back upstairs to chat with J
She opened firefox and clicked on her bookmarks to the first liink, JCNET.
to her dissappointment, the server was down. no one could get on that night..

talking to herself, she said "Oh well. Maybe i'll talk to him tomorrow"
feeling sad, anne took out her books and started to do her homework...

While Anne was doing her homework, she couldn't help thinking of J. "Wow, he's so caring..nobody has been so kind to me in such a long time.."

and then, Jason suddenly popped up into her mind. "It sucks that I couldn't even go out for a drink with him..and Valentine's Day is coming soon..darn..I was thinking of him being my Valentine. Too bad that idea is over. His parents are so strict!"

"Wow..it sounded like he wanted to ask me out..No, that wouldn't happen. There's so many other nice-looking girls in our school."

She shrugs off the idea and continues doing her homework.

Before she went to sleep, she checked to see if the server was up yet. Luckily, it was up, so she checked the chatroom to see if he was still there. Unfortunately, he wasn't. She sadly went to sleep.

She had a continuation of her past nightmare. But this time, it was slightly different.

Lisa was calling her to rant about her daily life.

Lisa:"OMG ANNE GUESS WHAT?!"
Anne: "what?"
Lisa: "I GOT A BOYFRIEND!"
Anne: "omg, really, who is it this time?"
Lisa: "You wouldn't believe it, but it's Jason, the one you've been talking about! You know, the new student at our school? The one with the strict parents?"
Anne: "Oh..wow...that's..great..his parents allow him to have a girlfriend..? That's really..cool..congrats.."
Lisa: "Haha, omg, I know! I can't believe his parents allowed it! But i dunno, I really liked him, so I just went ahead and asked him out! And he said yes! This is so cool! Well, I have to go now, just wanted to tell you! Bye!"
Anne: "Ok...bye..."

When Anne hung up the phone, she was so depressed. "This isn't fair! He asked me out first! But because of Lisa, I said no when he asked me out for a drink. This isn't fair!" and then she began to cry.

She shook herself awake from the nightmare, and she realized she was crying. She looked at her alarm clock and it was already 6:50 a.m.

"Omg, school starts in less than an hour! Ah, I'll be late!"

While she was rushing to school, Lisa called her cell phone.

Anne:"Hi Lisa, what's up?"
Lisa:"OMG ANNE, GUESS WHAT?!"
Anne:"what?"
Lisa:"I have a boyfriend! It's Jason!"

She dropped her cellphone on the floor. "No, this can't be happening to me. It must be a dream." She said to herself..

oh Gosh!!! Jeannie you're making me this so much harder now haha ok...well I hope you like it!!!...I tried my best!

"I mean it was a dream?? wasn't it?? Oh Gosh...no way...no way!!...This can not be happening to me!!! :crazy: " She freaked out...While she was walking to school this was the only thing she thought about.

"Hey there's Lisa....Lisa!! Lisa!!" She yelled....but Lisa didn't pay attention to her..."Maybe she didn't hear me"...Lisa went to class. Anne was so confused and devastated and she started to cry in the stairs..."Oh Gosh why?, I can't believe it"...but suddenly someone surprised her from behind...:

Jason: Hi Anne...what's up? why are you crying?
Anne: (still crying) Leave me alone!!...I don't wanna talk to you right now :cry:
Jason: what? but...but what happen?....Anne!!....Anne!!

Anne ran away and went to class leaving Jason behind...

Jason: uh? What just happened? :glug:

She was so late that the theacher let her in but with a pass to saturday detention....she sitted behind Lisa and during the class Lisa tried to talk to her but she didn't answer...she was too shock. At the end of the class, Lisa said hi to her again but Anne didn't pay attention to her....

Anne: Sorry Lisa but I gotta go.
Lisa: But... are you going to eat with me? I have so much to tell you!!.
Anne: I can't.....sorry...see ya....

Anne left the classroom and went to the only place where she felt comfortable in the whole school...the library....she seated there for hours...doing nothing just thinking...then she got a message to her cellphone....it was J....she smiled:

J: Hi Anne....I saw you crying this morning, are you ok?"
Anne: "What? he saw me?, where was he?"....She answered..."I'm ok now, thanks for asking J"
J: "You are very beautiful today"

For a second she forgot about Lisa and his new "boyfriend"....

Anne: "What?" :excited: she smiled again but this time for real..."Thanks....J where are you? I wanna meet you"
J: "Not yet...please go to your locker right now...don't ask why"
Anne: "Ok...I will".

She went to her locker and there it was in front of her....a pink rose with a note....She was so excited...."For me? awww he's so cute"...she thought to herself....Pink was her favorite color...."How did he know that pink is my favorite color?, weird!"...The note said:

"Anne this is for you for Valentine's day...I know is tomorrow but I just wanted to give you something today...This is a rose to another rose...Please don't believe everything you hear"

She was suprised...."Don't believe everything you hear??...wha does it mean?"...TO BE CONTINUED...

Inhaling deeply, she decided to pick up the phone, dialled the number.J's number.

and at last she heard a voice:''Hi Anne.Nice to hear from you.so What's up?''
-Oh, I really want to say thank to your gist today...The rose is lovely,i like it alot
-Gud.So...?
-Can I meet you for a while?-she asked with a little hesitation.
She heard nothing on the other side of the phone for a while...''Hello? Are u there J''
-Oh i'm here...just...ok
-I look forward to that.cya.
She put the phone down and waited...J was going to come here..

ps:this is not a very gud one as i wrote it in a hurry.so the next one, hope u can write a gud end to this story haha

Anne waited for 10 minutes...20 minutes...30 minutes..."Gosh, where is he?" she was so desperate..."Oh Gosh....is he going to come or what?" :?

After 40 minutes of waiting she got a message to her cellphone...."Oh it's J"...The message said this:

"Anne I'm sorry but I think I can't see you right now. I'm busy...Sorry"

Anne: "What?? oh **** :worry: ...What happened?...I wanna see him so badly!"

Mean while J was at the gym with a friend, Mark...Mark has been his friend since kinder garden...his dad met J's dad at high school and since then they've been like brothers...J's dad got a job in Australia and brought his family with him...that's why J lives in Australia right now...After a month J's dad called his good friend and asked him to move to Australia for a better job...now J go to school with her best friend.

J: "Mark, I don't know what to do...I really like this girl but mmm"
Mark: "Man you're so confused right now...take it easy...The girl seems nice...eventually you will know what to do"
J: "Yeah mmm I wanna get to know her first...let's see how the things go. I'm not going to tell her who I am yet"

J was so worry...he really liked Anne but he comes from a very stric chinese family and if he accept to tell Anne the truth and if he fall in love with her..."This thing will make all more complecated" He thought..."Why am I so shy?....****...I have to talk to Lisa"

Anne was very worry about that situation..."is J really Jason?...why didn't he come to see me?....I think he's hiding something"...for a moment she forgot about the terrible news...Anne was very interested in Jason and she felt so bad after she heard the big news this morning but on the other hand J was so cute and considered...Anne didn't know the truth...but even when she was confused about everything...this was the only good thing in her life at that moment..."This is so romantic...so mysterious :happy: "...Suddenly Anne got another message with this picture...

If i were to choose between J and Jason, i would be torn. they're both so nice and caring. but if J was Jason, my problems would be solved, Anne thought as she walked home. She was in a cheery mood because of the pink rose, despite being stood up by J.

when she reached home, she dumped her stuff on her bed and switched on the computer. Logging on to JC.Net, she was happy when she saw that she had a new PM from J.

"Sorry i broke my promise to meet you. I had something to do. You seem troubled today. i know i've already asked you whether you were all right. but why were you crying? Something i can help with maybe? do you want to talk about it?

"Thats okay. i wasnt waiting that long anyway. i was worried about my best friend and this new guy in school that im kinda... interested in because my best friend said that they were a couple, and i was sad and frustrated. and terribly terribly jealous =X. yeah, so that was why i was crying. but later, you left me a rose, so i cheered up alot. thanks for the rose!

an instant later, a pop-up appeared on J's firefox browser. he was so surprised he fell off his chair with an ARGH!

picking up his chair, he smiled although his bum hurt from the fall. it was Anne's reply. His fingers hovered over the keyboard. Maybe this was a chance to confess.

"oh. so you're interested in the new guy huh? awww, does that mean i have no chance? but then you cheered up alot when you got the rose, so it must mean that i still have a chance right? yes! hahaha. Annieee, I've always wanted to call you that. it sounds so cute and adorable which describes you so well! Anne is cute and i want to pinch your cheeks and make coo-ing noises sometimes when i see you! im so silly, right? but then, sometimes, im torn between putting an arm around to prevent you from being hurt from other people and pinching your cheeks. do you know that? you're that cute!

J continued typing when suddenly, his mom screamed a shrill horrified scream. his heart leaped and his fingers pressed Enter.

His eyes went back to the screen and it read, " message sent to Anne"

"OMG i wasnt supposed to send that! i was just fooling around! oh my god, argh. dammit. oh man. what have i done?!"

in a way, he felt relieved because he usually wont have the courage to get his feelings out as they were. maybe it's a blessing in disguise. maybe she'll say she likes me too. maybe. his feelings confused, he lied on his bed and thought about Anne. She has such a cute smile... he smiled to himself. without realizing it, he fell asleep.

Anne was reading an article about Jay's choice of underwear, or lack thereof, when she received J's reply.

Her eyes moved back and forth quickly as she digested what J wrote. she re-read it five times before she came to realize that J might like her. She didnt want to get her hopes up. Maybe he does! but his reply was so cute, so unlike him to say that!

Smiling happily to herself and forgetting about Jason, she lied on her bed and did her homework. paying attention and care to get it right. for once.

*yawns* "oh jeez, i think i fell asleep while doing my homework..gosh, i'll just finish it at lunch at school. oh well." said anne grumpily.

when she arrived to school, she looked as if she was dragging her feet to class. all her classmates noticed that she looked extremely sad.

Lisa: "hey anne, what's wrong?"
anne: "nothing much, just stress from school and my love life i guess..if i even have one.."
lisa: "omg! speaking of love life! i-"
anne: "can we talk later? class is starting."

from the back of the class, anne's student, the name of robert, was observing her. he was interested in her since the first day of high school, which was a few years back. he was too shy to ask her out though, and he only go to see what she was like from afar. today, he told himself to gather up his courage and ask her out.

meanwhile, in the guy's PE lockers..

Mark: "Jason, it's time to confess to anne. she's been waiting too long."
Jason: "yeah..i know..i'm thinking of confessing to her today, i hate keeping everything to myself. this sucks."

at lunch, Anne went to the library to do her homework. Mark so her there, and he slowly gathered up his courage and went up to her table.

"hi anne, is it okay if i sit here?"
anne: "yeah..sure..."
mark: "hey, you have to do that homework too? yeah, i didn't finish it either! let's try and finish it together!"
anne: "haha, ok"

Jason was trying to find anne everywhere, and he finally found anne in the library. with..another guy.

"oh jeez, i think she doesn't like me. even if she did, i think she gave up her hopes. this is horrible. it really is." he decided to confess to her after school.

mark: "hey anne, are you busy after school today?"
anne: "nope, what's up?"
mark: "oh..you know..i was wondering if we could...go do something after school. like, get a drink or movies or something.."
anne: she hesitated, thinking, "should i say yes? or no? does J like me? does he not? ahh, this sucks..>.<"
"ok..sure. "
mark: "haha, great! i'll meet you at the movies at 4 okay?"
anne: "ok."

Jason finally saw anne alone afterschool. he tried to talk to her, but she kept saying she was busy.

anne was rushing to go somewhere, and jason couldn't take it anymore and he screamed after her.

"ANNE, I'M J!"

she suddenly stopped in her tracks and looked back at him with a shocked face...

"WHAT?!"

Silently thinking to herself. "What did he just say to me?" stopped in her tracks..Anne did not dare to move.

"Anne, i'm sorry i have not confessed to you earlier. I'm the one you've been pouring your heart out too.I'm J!"
"..wh..whha...what? You're J?" turning around she had a surprised nervouse look plastered all over her face.
Holding on to her shoulders jay spoke " You told J that you liked a guy named jason at your school. you told j that you went to THIS school. I go to this school! i'm J! "
"I...ii..I don't bel..believe you." Anne said..but inside she was happy, but she didn't want to be lifted up high then smashed down to the floor.
"Didn't J tell you to meet him in the locker room?"

"Anne, you've told me so much about your life. that your mom yells at you, that you secretly liked me. You've talked to me everytime you were feeling happy or sad"
Tears start to form in Anne's eyes. she couldn't believe her ears. this was really j! the person she had a crush on in real life was also the person that she fancied online. words could not describe how she felt at that moment. but wait a minute...she told him all those things online..she spilt her feelings out to him. she told him that she liked jason, that she liked him! but he still continued to go out with Lisa.
" wait! i don't get it..why are you confessing now?" anne asked, bewildered
"because i couldn't keep it inside me any longer. i had to tell you, i had to let my feelings out, my feelings for you. Anne, i love you!"
[what did he just say to me? did he say i love you? but wait..he is going out with lisa, i cant do that to her.]
"You love me?! what a big joke..."
"What? what are you saying? how can you say my feelings for you are a big joke?"
"You don't love me. you're going out with lisa, you can't love me. its not right..."
"Anne listen to me, i'll talk to Lisa, we'll get everything straightened out. i promise.but right now the only thing i want to do is be with you."
"i'm sorry...i can't. i can't bring myself to face lisa even if you have a mutual breakup..i just can't..this is all too sudden..i can't take all this!!"
with that she turned around and left. but Jason grabs on to her arm and spins her around. he takes both of his hands and places them on her cheeks.
softly and gently he tells her " no matter what happens. i wan't to be with you. i want to be with you when you're happy, when you're sad, when you're calm, when you're excited. i want to be with you always..always by your side...

with that. the two looks into each others eyes and share a passionate kiss..

"::Gasps: What are you two doing?!?!" Lisa screams....and suddenly faints..

Lisa: "Leave me alone!!! I don't wanna see you right now....or see you (pointed to Jason) for that matter!!...Oh Gosh! You're 2 are incredible!! I thought you were my friend...and you...(looking to Jason)....I thought you liked me...you were just using me to get to Anne :shock: "

Anne: "Lisa please try to understand!! I...I...I..."
Lisa: "What?? I can't stand you right now"...She went away crying and mad as hell.
Jason: "Anne...I'm sorry, I don't know what happened...it's just that I like you...I don't like Lisa...it was never my intention to hurt her or hurt you"
Anne: "What?? you played with the two of us...Lisa doesn't deserve this and me neither...you lied to me Jason...I gotta go...bye"...She started to walk
Jason: "Anne....WAIT!!!..."...Jason couldn't reach her...Anne didn't pay attention to him...."Oh God...What am I done?!!...you idiot"

Anne got home and her mom was waiting for her...."Anne you missed dinner!...what happened?? I don't want excuses :profanit: ....it's the second time this week...I don't wanna do this but you are grounded!..."What mom?...that's not fair"...She went to her bedroom to do her homework...but it was the last thing she did that night...She called Lisa 4 times but she never pick up and J (now Jason) called her too but she didn't want to talk to him.

The next day at school...Jason saw Anne in the hallway..."Anne I called you last night but..." She interrupted him..."Jason or J...whatever... don't you get it? I don't wanna talk to you or see you, even if I wan to I can't, I really can't"..."But Anne why? I mean..." ... "What? haha (ironic laugh)...you know what...we don't have nothing...this... is nothing, so let's move on ok??"...She was late to class. In clase Anne found out that Lisa didn't come to school. At lunch Anne called to Lisa's house, Lisa's mom answered and told her that Lisa was in the hospital.

Anne was so devastated and she felt really really sad about all...she couldn't stop crying since the night before and now she heard about Lisa and she was so worry...but at the same time she couldn't stop thinking about the kiss...it was her first kiss, and even though the circumstances, she really enjoyed it..."I'm not mad at Jason, I'm just so confused...I don't know what to do...I like him and he's J and all make sense now but..." She was thinking to herself....At that moment she recevied a message to her cellphone, it was from Jason:

Suddenly the door bell rang.Annie hurried down the stairs, clearing all the tears and opened the door.To her ashtonishment, a familiar face appeared.

'Lisa is lyng in te hospital,cryig her herat out and all you care is solving things sowe can be together?Do u stil remember Lisa is also a human being with feelings?'

'Go home Jason,i dont want to see you anymore',said Anne,shutting the door.

Anne decided to visit Lisa again tomorrow.This time,she brougth some magazine and baked Lisa's favourite chocolate cookie.When she was about to knocked the door,she saw Lisa trying very hard to reach for the glass of water on the table next to her.Anne went in without knocking and helped Lisa.

'The nurse should put th glass nearer to you' said Anne,as she pull out the magazine from a paper bag.Lisa looked at her withou saying a word.Anne looked at Lisa for a moment and started saying

'Im really sorry for what ive done.I dont blame you if you dont forgive me.But still your your best friend and the least i can do now is make you feel better.I brought you some magazines and chocolote cookie.If you dont want to see me,i wont come tomorrow.

Lisa: "Anne I know you're sorry and I got it...maybe I missunderstood the whole situation...maybe it's true and Jason talked to me just to get through to you...but he hurt me and you hurt me too...I don't know, I don't feel good right now and not just because my leg...everything...you're still my friend but I don't wanna see you right now...give me time to think...to process all these stuff".
Anne: "Ok Lisa...I understand what you're saying...I'm going to give you space but please don't forget that I'm so sorry and that I'm here ok?...you can count on me"

Anne gave Lisa a hug and she went away to class. That morning she had a biology test and she failed...she couldn't stop thinking about Lisa and how she hurt her, besides Jason was in her mind too..."I don't know what I suppose to do, this is so complicated" She thought..."And I failed my test, my mom is going to be so mad...I don't wanna go home".

On the other hand, Jay finished his chemestry project with Mark and went home to have dinner with his parents...In the middle of dinner Jason's father told him that he got fire and the family must get back to China because he got a new job there and a better one. Jason didn't expect that, he was so disappointed...so angry at the same time:

Jason: "What?? are you kidding me dad??....I can not believe this!!...I finally got friends...really good friends...I'm happy here...I like the city, the school...you can't do this to me"
Jin (Jason's father): "You have to do what I tell you to do...we have to go back to China...I can't lose this job...we're going to live so much better now...this one doesn't work but I put all my dreams and hopes for this new job ok??"
Jason: "Mom you have to do something...I can't go...I just can't...Oh Gosh!!". He went to his room and closed the door so loud, he was so so mad at his dad..."What is going to happen now? I can't leave and what about Anne??"

Jason called Mark and told him everything, Mark couldn't believe it either. That night was the most horrible night for him. Now he'd have to tell Anne that he's leaving...he didn't want to but he had to. This love story was about to fall down. The very next day Jason saw Anne at the library, when he was walking to her...Anne saw him and she took her books and started to walk out:

Jason: "Anne wait!! I have to talk to you...this is really important....please let's just forget about Lisa and everything else...this is more important than that"
Anne: "Ah? you're joking right?...I can't talk right now..I have to meet Alicia to do an english homework and besides I don't wanna see you yet"

Anne ran away and disappeared. Jason was so worry and he was feeling so frustrated. Mark saw the whole thing from a corner and he thought: "I have to do something...Jason is leaving in 4 days and Anne has to know that". Mean while Jason went to the gym to practice and sent Anne a PM:

"If today I am going to lose everything in front of my eyes
I don't care if I have nothing left
Only you cannot be replaced

To try and stop thinking about Jason, J and Lisa, Anne logged on to JCNET. A pop up window appeared, informing her a bout a new PM. It was from J.

Her finger hovered over the mouse with her wondering if she should open the PM and confuse herself even more. Hesitating, she closed the pop up window and decided to ignore it until she could work out her feelings.

Lying on her bed, she stared up at the ceiling. there were glow in the dark stars, something her mother decorated her room with when she was younger so that she wouldnt be so afraid of the dark, of sleeping alone. That was back when her family was whole... before her father cheated on her mom and got divorced so he could settle down with a younger, slimmer, prettier woman.

Remembering her father's last words,"Annie, go with the guy you love the most... even if it's the most selfish thing to do... "

Anne whispered sadly,"But Daddy, i dont want to be selfish. i like him but i dont want her to be sad. is there any way i could solve this?"

She closed her eyes. A strong wind blew outside her window. She felt strangely at peace with the world. like, things were going to be all right. Maybe Daddy heard me, she thought happily. Her tranquility was disrupted by a short rustling of paper. Slightly irritated, she ignored it. Then it rustled again. and she opened her eyes and saw that it was the front page of a newspaper in Ireland.

Anne focused on the article which read, "A girl stuck in love triangle with her love interest and best friend committed suicide yesterday. Her body was found by her mother who had went into her room to call her for dinner. Thinking she was asleep, her mother tried to shake her awake only to realize that her daughter stopped breathing.
The autopsy showed that massive amounts of detergent was found in her stomach. There were no signs of struggle, therefore it has been concluded that it was suicide.
Her mother, shaken with grief continued repeating that it was all her fault for yelling at her everyday until the police found a written note, explaining of her indecision between friendship and love.

Anne dropped the newspaper article. 'Of course! I didnt think of that', Anne thought. 'This was the solution, it was destiny that Jason and I arent meant to be together... it's Jason and Lisa's. But there's only one problem...

Nothing mattered anymore. Maybe it's time i knew what death feels like,' Anne smiled to herself.

She completely missed the last paragraph of the article. It said, " The victim's mother was admitted into a mental hospital shortly after the victim's death. It was reported that her love interest died of grief and her best friend fell victim to a hit-and-run accident.'

As Anne sits silently on her bed, she begins to remember the happiest times of her life.
She remembers going shopping with her mom, watching movies and having a girls night out with Lisa,
and the first time she got an A on her biology exam. She chuckles to herself as she thinks back to the time she got her first PM.

Her eyes fill with tears as she starts to get
flashbacks of the time she spent with Jason. Anne touches her bracelet (the one with the jay on it),and begins to think back to the
first time she met him. A smile crept on her face as she touches it
She thinks back to the time they shared a bittersweet kiss. Her smile soon fades as she remembers how she hurt Lisa, her best friend.

At this point her make-up is smeared due to the over flowing tears.
"If i'm going to die, i want to die a beautiful young lady. So people will remember the best of me." Anne wispers quietly to herself.
(Anne fails to realise, if she dies...she'll be looked down apon, and her death will cause more problems then solve.)

As she reached across her desk for a box of tissues..
She accidentally moves the mouse, which caused the screensaver to disappear
showing the main window. while staring at the computer screen, she hesitates for awhile....
"Should i log on JCNET and read J's PM? I don't want to regret not being able to talk to him for one last time."
with that Anne decided to log on JCNET and read J's PM.
Anne's hand shakes as she hovers the mouse over the link to J's PM, she doesn't know what to expect from it.
Gathering up all her courage, she finally decides to open the PM.

"If today I am going to lose everything in front of my eyes
I don't care if I have nothing left

As Anne reads the PM, more tears start to fall down her rosy red cheeks. Anne turns off her computer becuase she is unsure about how to answer J's PM. Tears once again begin to fall,so she quickly wipes them off along with her remaining make up.
She quickly applys fresh make up on, because she wants to get this over with... she is tired of life...
"Ahh! All done and beautiful...Now all i need is an outfit to match with my blue eyeshadow."
in the mists of rampaging through her closet for the perfect dress, a photoalbum falls on her head from the top shelf.
"Owwww, that hurt...what is th..." Anne is speechless as she realises that is an album containing photos of her family before its was
shattered. Anne tries hard to fight back her tears as she starts to think feel anger towards her mom and dad, blaming them for how she is today.
She angerly throws the photo album at the wall.

Too angry and depressed to continue looking for a dress, Anne sits down on her bed while holding 15 sleeping pills in one hand, while tightly
holding on to her J bracelet in the other.
Taking in a deep breath...Anne stuffs all 15 pills into her mouth and swallows. Of course she was struggling to swallow all 15, but she used all her
strength and forced it down her throat.

"Good-bye everyone...i hope i'll get to meet you all in my next life time" a single tear drops as Anne slowly slids down into her bed...

meanwhile....
Jason sits quietly in front of his computer..impatietly tapping his foot, waiting for Anne to reply to his PM...
"Jason, do me a favor and go get the mail for me would yah? Jason's father Jin tells him.
"Yeah sure dad.." as Jason replies..he thinks " No use just sitting around the computer all day, Anne probably wont reply anyway..i guess fate has taken its toll on things."
Jason lazily walks downstairs to the mail box..as he searches through the mail to see if he has any, he notices a school directory (you know the ones that has all the students numbers and addresses)
intrigued..Jason flips through the pages and he suddenly stops at one page...the page that has Anne's name on it..

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!!?...sigh...i want to forget about her...but i can't." Jason yells at the sky...
he can't take this anymore...he just has to see Anne.
looking at Anne's address he runs to her house.

Gasping for air..Jason finally arrives at Anne's house.
he slowly walks up the steps and rings the door bell..his heart is beating rapidly.thump thump thump..
Someone opens the door, and Jason jumps from shock..

"Hello who are you?" Asks Anne's mom.
"Hello, my name is Jason. I'm one of Anne's classmates" Jason says..slightly embarrassed that he is all sweaty and sticky from all that running.
"Oh nice to meet you!! i'm so glad you came to visit my daughter, she has been down in the dumps lately. Won't you come in" Anne's mom steps aside and lets Jason through.
"thank you"
"Just make yourself at home, i have to go to the grocery store. Anne is upstairs."
"thank you"
Anne's mom thinks to herself "I've been to hard on Anne for the past couple of years...she needs more friends. I hope this guy will be nice to her ^^"

As Jason walks up the stairs, his heart beat increases and he feels like his stomach is doing twirls and flips.
When he walks into the room, he finds Anne sleeping on her bed.
"She looks like an angel"He gently strokes her face...

soon....Jason notices something wrong..

"Shes not breathing!!!"
Alarmed and scared..jason quickly picks Anne up into his arms and takes her to the hospital..

at the hospital..
"DOCTORS!!DOCTORS!!QUICK!! I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!" Jason yells as soon as he gets into ER.
"Bring the girl into room 2 NOw!!" yells one of the doctors.
the medical staff quickly pulls Anne out of Jason's arms and gently puts her in the ER bed.Jason wants to go into the room too,but is stopped by the nurses.
Worried..Jason walks back and forth..telling himself "it'll be alright, she'll be okay..oh god please let her be alright."

the doctors are now currently working on Anne~
"I suspect she overdosed on sleeping pills" says doctor Mai [sushii: HAHAHA .. .. . . .]
"What should be do?!" asks one of the nurse, who is obviously new to this whole thing,becuase she was the only one with a nervous look plastered on her face..
"Give me the endotracheal tube"..the nurse listens and quickly gets it.
Doctor slowly inserts the tube into Anne's mouth,this tube will help her breath.
Next, the medical staff turns Anne over to one side and inserts a stomach tube down to her stomach.
At this point you can see that she is slight conscious and feeling the pain...but more is yet to come...
As the stomach is being pumped you can see the yellow/brown/orange fluids coming out from the tubes as Anne cries in agony..
it takes the whole medical staff to pin her down
"ARG...AHHHHH.ARRRRRGGG!!!!" Anne yells, the pain is too unbearable...
all of a sudden anne starts to calm down..and shes stops stuggling..her heart beat begins to stop..
"QUICK GET ME THE DEFIBRILLATOR!!! WE MUST SAVE HER"
the nurse quickly run to get it....

Jason automatically turns to see what is happening.."defib??" "what is going on!?!!" he tries yet again to enter the ER room.but is blocked....

what will happen to Anne?!

(LOL i'm done..and that was freaking long..it took me well over three hours..-_-..i hope its good..i'll leave the cliff hanger for ally mei.
whether Anne lives or dies..its her decision! ahah no pressure right mei mei?)

my turn again! i was wondering what a defibrillator was, and found it on wikipedia.com. im way too much of a bum to supply the link but i'd describe it to you ^^. it's that two metal pads with electricity running through it and then the doctor would press it to the patient's chest to jumpstart the heart beat. if you still dont know what im talking about, it's that thing that doctors hold, run them together and say CLEAR!

ja, hajimemasu~ [let's start] :

Frustrated he couldnt get in the ER, Jason bangs against the hospital walls. The few happy memories he had with Anne ran through his mind. Her smile, the kiss they shared, her lips... these were too little to remember her by if anything happens to her. And yet, he had a small smile when he thought of the kiss.

Loud quick steps made him look up. It was Anne's mother. Her face was worried and only then he realized that it had worry lines all over it while previously, he had only looked at her briefly and not noticed. "i wonder if Anne ever noticed the lines", he thought to himself.

Anne's mother stopped in front of the ER room doors. Her expression was lost and her eyes searched around here, as though someone would jump out from behind the dustbins or no smoking signs to tell her that she's been deceived and her daughter was having dinner at some fast food joint. A few minutes passed as she just stood there. Finally realizing that it was all true, she crumpled to the floor crying.

"i shouldnt have, i knew but i didnt know how to and i knew it hurt you and i was too selfish maybe i shouldnt have divorced your father i knew how much you loved him and... and... " her words slightly muffled by her tears.

Jason placed his arms around here, trying to comfort her, hoping that whatever he did could console her and maybe even more so, himself. She was grateful and gave him a small, appreciative smile.

The nurse that had ran out earlier to get the defibrillator rushed back to the ER with the trolley carrying it. Jason and Anne's mother looked up at the same time, thinking that there might be hope. the machine they saw each time they watched a TV program about medicine and hospitals was the last resort, but nevertheless signified hope, however small it was.

They waited there, still on the cold floor, just waiting. the shouts of the doctor, the scurried noises of the nurses that were there to assist him any way they could, they took it all in, silently hoping, praying hard that nothing would happen to Anne, although they didnt have much faith in God.

Ten minutes later, a doctor walked out in his coat. There was a grim look on his face and instantly, there was fear in Jason's and Anne's mother's eyes. The doctor looked down at them and said calmly, "I'm sorry. You had better be prepared."

Their eyes averted from the doctor and they got up and rushed into the room. She was lying down, covered by a white sheet and a harsh white light shone down on her.

Unable to accept the truth, Anne's mother shook her roughly, saying "you cant do this to me, not now...". Jason merely stared, numb. A while later, a nurse came in and looked at them, puzzled.

"Miss, i think you've got the wrong person" Anne's mother uncovered the sheet and it turned out to be someone else.

yeah I'm next...Gosh I didn't know what to write...I was so worry about this story the entire week cuz I had ideas but not as good as yours guys so I came out with something you might not like...but I hope you do...I really love this tragic situation but I don't want it to end like that...I want a happy ending for this story...we need a happy ending, don't you think? so here goes my part.

BTW Congrats to Leann and Alicia...you guys made a great job in this story...and of course Jeannie and everyone else involve!!...I'm so glad we wrote this together :clink: high 5!

Anne's mom faints, the nurse helped her.... and Jason can't believe what he's seeing...he has this terrible look on his face...he was expecting to be Anne...but at the same time he's thinking "Thanks God" ... Suddenly the atmosphere turns red....blood red....and there were a another flash back ... now everything turns dark blue...like a sea out of life...there's water...a lot of water...so...

Like she were having a bad dream she wakes up..."NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" she was sweating and so pale...She touched herself and took a deep breath and she knew everything was just fine...it was only a bad dream...the worse nightmare she never have....she suddenly went downstairs and saw her mom cooking a cherry pie...her fav when she was a child...and she ran to her like she had seen a ghost..."Mom I love you"... she whirspered on her ear..."I love you"...Her mom holded her back and everything between them seemed more clear than before...Anne's mom started to cry...Anne kissed her forehead.

She returned to her bedroom and thought about the news she read..."I can't do that....I'm not that girl"....she went to the bathroom and washed her face...when she saw the mirror it was like she were seeing someone else..." I don't recognize myself" she closed her eyes and thought about Jason....Her face turns a different color...the color of life so she sweared to God she was going to do everything right...just for once.

Anne took her mom's car even when she didn't have a licence and went to Lisa's place....she nocked on her door..."Hi Anne, do you wanna talk to Lisa?"...."Hi Mrs. Gueller... (Yeah I couldn't think about another lastname haha sorry) ... yes I need to talk to her"..."Ok come on in....she's upstaris resting"...Anne went upstairs and saw Lisa in her bed...they two of them looked at each other...they didn't need to speak...they just knew what they had was really important...Lisa walked to Anne and holded her...Anne started to cry on Lisa's shoulder...."Please forgive me Lisa"... those words came out so honest...Lisa looked at her again..."I know Anne...I know"....They talked for about an hour...and when Anne was about to go Lisa stoped her... "You know that Jason is leaving in tree days right?...please talk to him....don't be mad at him...he really loves you"...Anne couldn't believe what Lisas was saying...Jason is leaving and maybe she won't see him again....this was her first love and she cared about him a lot.

A new morning appeared again and although the cold was still in the streets, Anne was feeling warm again...like the old Anne...At 10 am she called Jason..."Ring...Ring...Ring" nothing....he didn't pick up the phone...he was at the airport already...his dad got the job and they had to go back to China earlier... Anne went to his house and on the way it stared to rain...she nocked at his door when she saw a drawing on the floor...it was weat but she could read it "Love you Anne" in the middle of the heart...

Then a neighbor told her " They went to the airport an hour ago...maybe you can catch them".

Mean while at the airport...Jason was waiting for the plain...he was very sad and disappointed...he spent the night crying over Anne...He had the same nightmare she had...Suddenly he listens to a voice on the loudspeaker...the man said: "Mr. Cheng you have a call...please pick up the white phone"... Jason feeling surprise picked up the phone and said "Hello"...but he couldn't hear anything...then another voice said: "The passengers to the city of Hong Kong please to approach door 512" (Sorry if I wrote it wrong...I just translated it from spanish to english but I don't know if it's good or not...you got the idea anyway)...his dad called him: "Jason we need to go"...Jason and his family walked to the door...they got to the plain...they waited for 30 min cuz the flight was delayed...finally the engines starts and like a blink the plain was already in the sky.

Anne got to the door too late....she couldn't stop him....she wanted to tell her that she loved him back...that he was her prince charming...that she needed him in her life....but she couldn't do it...she thought to herself the famous line "If only..." from a poem she read quite a while.

ok, i'm going to go back to the hospital scene, hopefully, it's not too confusing, and hopefully, you'll understand what i'm writing about. :sweat:

Anne suddenly woke up from her dream in tears. She dreamt that she was never in the hospital, and that Jason had left for China and she was too late to see him, and she dreamt that she was friends with Lisa again.

"Wait...so which part is true? Am i really in a hospital? Or was my dream the true part?"

So she looked at her surroundings, and in fact, she was in the hospital. "I guess i had a dream of dreaming here.." (sorry if that's really confusing. ~_~)

Her mom was sleeping on a chair near her bed, and Jason fell asleep on the side of her bed. He slowly woke up when he felt her body move.

"...Jason? Aren't you supposed to be on a plane to China?"

"Oh Anne..I'm so glad you're awake. I was going to go to the airport the other day, but i went to your house first to say a final farewell, and then i saw you lying in bed, with an empty bottle of pills. So i totally forgot about going to the airport, and I just worried about you being okay, and your mom and I rushed you to the hospital. The doctors thought it was too late, but somehow, we had a miracle."

And then Anne began remembering what happened before she fell asleep. She remembered looking at all the things in her room, and she remembered all the happy memories, and somewhat regretting this decision.

Anne is angry at herself for making everybody waste their time caring for her in the hospital, and the fact that she made such a horrible decision for trying to suicide. Because suicide wouldn't have solved anything at all.

"I need to talk to Lisa, I want to apologize, I can't take this anymore, all this bickering!" she says to Jason.

She tries to get out of bed, but Jason holds her down. "It's okay Anne, you don't have the energy to walk yet, I'll get Lisa to come here, okay?"

So Jason leaves to get Lisa, and Anne just stares at her mom when he's gone. She truly regrets trying to suicide now. She's been making her mother worry so much, and her mom already has enough to worry about. The bills, the house, 3 jobs, and now this. Anne angrily yells at herself. Her mother wakes up by this, and she's shocked that Anne is already awake.

"Honey! I'm so glad you're already awake! This is such a relief!" She runs over to Anne's bed, and she begins stroking Anne's hair and face, repeatedly telling her how worried she was, and what a relief it was that Jason found Anne in time before something serious happened.

"I know, mom, this won't ever happen again, I promise."

The door opened, and Jason was pushing a wheelchair in, and Lisa was sitting in the wheelchair.

"Hi Anne..." said Lisa.

"Hi Lisa.." said Anne.

Jason and her mom slowly walked out, trying to act unnoticed, to give Lisa and Anne their private time to talk.

There were a few silent minutes before they began talking. Suddenly, they blurted out simultaneously:

"I'm sorry-I was stupid! It was my fault!"

They then started laughing at how they talked at the same time, and they became friends again. They knew they were arguing over something stupid, and a boy should never come between their relationship, no matter how cute he was.

"Look Anne, it was my fault, seriously though. I began liking him because of what you were telling me. I don't think I truly loved him as much as you do. Sure, he did use me to get close to you, but it's ok. There wasn't any other possible way, because he was shy, and you were shy. So i'm sort of glad I was the middle person. It's ok Anne, go and get Jason!" says Lisa.

"Thanks Lisa, you'll find a guy better than Jason, no worries." says Anne giggling.

Lisa then yells, "It's ok, you guys don't have to eavesdrop anymore! Come in! Everything's okay now!"

Jason and her mom slowly enter, and Anne and Lisa explain everything to them.

A few days later, Anne is finally released from the hospital, and Lisa and Jason are helping her get ready to leave. Jason is going to leave the next day, so the three of them are trying to make the best out of his last day here.

"Let's go to an amusement park! I've been dying to do something fun lately!" says Anne.

"You two go, I have an essay due tomorrow, so I should stay home and finish it. Plus, this will be your first date together!" says Lisa, teasing Anne and Jason.

They blush so much that their cheeks turn a deep shade of red, and shyly told Lisa thanks.

Anne and Jason stroll to the amusement park, hand in hand, and go on as many rides as they possibly can until the park closed. When the park closed, it was already 9 p.m., and Anne had to go home. Jason took her home, and before she went inside, she asked Jason, "When does your plane leave tomorrow?"

"4 a.m," said Jason, "It's ok, you don't have to get up. It's too early, and you need your beauty sleep."

They kissed, and she went inside. Before she slept, she was trying to decide what to give him as a farewell souvenier. She finally decided, and then she set her alarm clock to 2:30 a.m., and then went to sleep.

She woke up, made the last touches to her souvenier to Jason, and then she left to the airport, not telling her mom, afraid to disturb her since she was sleeping. She saw Jason at the airport, patiently waiting for his flight number to be called.

"Jason! Hey!" yelled Anne.

Jason was shocked that Anne actually came out to see him leave. Yesterday, he told her not to go, but he secretly wanted her to come, even though it was so early.

They had about a half hour before the plane was going to leave, so they just spent that time talking about random things.

Jason then saw his flight number pop up on the screen at the airport, and he knew it was time to go. They kept talking as long as possible, until the doors to the plane were about to close. Jason had to go now. They held hands, and they kissed, and then he had to go.

Anne suddenly remembered the souvenier that she'd been holding all along. "Wait! Jason! You forgot something!"

She ran towards him, and gave him a little package. "Don't open it until you get to the plane."

"Thanks Anne, I love you."

"I love you too Jason." Jason was leaving, but he was staring back at her as long as possible, and then he left. And she still had the lingering feeling of his lips touching hers before he left.

The airplane lifted off toward Beijing, and then Jason opened the package. There was a picture of Anne and Lisa, and it said "We'll miss you Jason! Keep in touch! -your two best friends." There was a beautiful picture of Anne herself. She was at a beach wearing a tank top and a short skirt smiling happily. Jason knew he'd treasure this picture forever. He also found a paper in the package also, and he read it. It was their first interaction with each other, and all his memories came back of when he first met her, and there were tears in his eyes.

The paper read: "Hi Anne. I'm new here and I hope to meet nice people like you. PM when you read this". -J

This paper, although there was only two sentences on it, but it was so meaningful, nobody else knew how significant it was except for Jason and Anne. This letter made them suffer together, have happy memories, and had them fall in love. This little message made their fates intertwine.

On the back, there was a quick scribble of Anne's address, with a small message beneath it saying, "Write to me or die!"

He fell back into his chair and smiled, vowing to himself to marry her in the future.
