i like Nocturne..that was the first song/mv that I deeply remember of Jays where I first got hooked on him..n the song is just sooo....soothin n nice...i have it as my ringtone too! love it!

okay it'll be In the Name of the Father then. when the album just came out, i was spinning it like crazy. i liked it from the start and i still love it. for Nocturne and Twilight's Chapter 7, i took some time before i started to like it. ACK. i love Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang too. this is a SUPER hard choice but yeah. YFZM cos... i think it's the most unique one out of the four cos of the starting music. :X

Something about the opening melody captured me. And lyrical content is very good too.

i chose Nocturne, cuz the beat is just so addicting. its mellow, a bit emo, but still good to bop your head to. although i absolutely loved the mv for yi fu zhi ming, the screaming lady kinda hurts the ears =/

I chose Nocturne, because I've always disliked the other 3 songs. I probably didn't like them because of the MVs they were long and dragged out a bit :p

I like all 4 tracks, especially Noctune and Twilight's....but I think I'll go with Twilight's. I really like the variety in this track from the arrangement to vocals. :happy:

I really like twilight's chapter seven, but then I guess if I didn't watch the mv before I probably wouldn't get so hooked to it :sealed:

So I chose In the Name of the Father. That song is crazily good & unique. Until now, the soprano screaming still gets stuck in my head :rolleyes:

In the Name of Father is freaking EPIC. I love the dramatics, it's so so good, but The Youth that Ends War is just pure Jay Chou brilliance, the haunting piano melody, the perfect singing/rapping blends, oh it's so good. So yes, voting for The Youth that Ends War, it's just deliciously wonderful.

In the Name of the Father. I never get tired of listening to it, love the music arrangement, the opera-style singing, the gunshots, the chorus, the rapping.

I used to love Nocturne so much, I got a little sick listening to it..But the guitar's really cool. And not forgetting the beautiful and sad lyrics as well.

it was a tie between youth that ends war or nocturne, but i ended up picking youth because it had awesome lyrics and a not bad MV. the lyrics to nocturne are just creepy.

i voted for In the name of the Father, because the first time i heard it.. it was so catchy that i had to keep replaying over and over again.. the other songs are alright.. but this one is a classic..

This poll is by far the easiest. The moment the page loaded and my gaze snapped onto the choices, it haaad to be In the name of the father. I mean what else? It's the first, the most original and mind-blowing song of the 4. And if I ever wanted to convince a non-Jay listener of his musical genius, In the name of the father would do the trick.

I absolutely love the psedo screaming sounds at the start. :P

i think the youth of war is pretty serious. the other ones are just about love, death, etc.etc.etc. but this isn't about the mushyness found in practically every song of jay's.

Without batting an eyelash, I voted for Yi Fu Zhi Ming right away. It's the very first Jay song I've ever heard and it was the song that converted me into a Jay fan. *nostalgic*

Anyway, out of the three remaining options, The Youth That Ends War is my least favorite. Twilight's Chapter Seven is cool but not as dramatic and monumental as In The Name of the Father. Nocturne is good but it's too plain and erm...serious. :sweat:

I absolutely love Nocturne, Twilight's chapter 7 and The youth that ends war. I'm ok with Yi fu Zhi Ming. But really, I had to choose Nocturne if I was asked to choose. It has such a beautiful and sad composition

I choosed Nocturne (November's Chopin) this time....it's a great song...it is!..it was the first Jay's song I listened to...my friend Roo sent it to me by msn and I fell in love....the melody is so nice and he sings really good...the MV is very sad but at the same time very romantic and it tells a moving story...there's no quetion about it....Nocturne is the best song from this group!! :wink2: It's that cool that I don't speak mandarin and I sing it!!! haha

this was the hardest for me to choose, as i love every one of the songs. i voted for Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang in the end, as i love every part of the song; the rap, the way Jay sings it, the melody. but every one of these songs are great. :-)

I chose Nocturne. I've been addicted to it ever since I heard it when it first came out. But the only thing is the MV is kinda boring. Yi Fu Zhi Ming would win on that count. But Nocturne still gets my vote.

I honestly can't choose for this poll. This has been the hardest one yet because I love all the songs listed and really can't decide which one I love more.

I really really fell in love with YFZM the first time I heard it and still love it as much as ever. ZZZS was really impressive in terms of the rap and catchy as well, with good lyrics. I listened to Ye Qu day and night when it first came out, same for YYDQZ. Gah, decisions!

I think I choose YYDQZ, after all, it's my ringtone! =P

The Youth that Ends War created an impression in my mind.

Nocturne breaks my heart. Its lyrics is so powerful that I still can't get it out of my mind. The smell of death lingers in my mind and the pain of losing a loved one... is so hard to just forget.

that track started the serious hip-hop genre that marked Jielun. it is a wonderful layer of sounds, experimenting with beats and combining different genres with a solid theme. XD
