[Battle 2a] Battle of the Hip-Hop & Rap Songs - The Hardcore

This poll is split up into 5 groups (a, b, c, d, e) with 4 songs in each group. I tried to put similar sounding songs in each group.

Here is the first group. Pleas vote and discuss! And please only vote ONCE!

The winner from each group will go against each other in a final poll for Best Hip-Hop/Rap song.

hmm. i was choosing between Jiang Jun and Ba, Wo Hui Lai Le but in the end i chose the latter because it's the one which is really meaningful and besides, it's one of my most-listened jay songs. i especially love the rain and thunder sounds. :X

for me, Dad im Back is the most meaningful (ti tian coming in second), but i find it the most fun to sing, esp when i sing it to my mom, she likes to shmuck me over the head :-)

Although I like Ba Wo Hui La Le, it got annoying after awhile. Therefore I voted for Ti Tian. One of my all time fave Jay rap songs, loved the meaningful lyrics hated the low budget looking MV XD

EEEPPPS to be honest I don't exactly listen to the songs up there :sealed: But then I finally chose Ba Wo Hui Lai Le cos it's really meaningful, & yeah, the lyrics are definitely really realistic & all.

Especially after the other day Jacky Wu was singing it with some ridiculous lyrics, it just showed the contrast & how good the lyrics are. Plus the music's really good, I like the whole tune & all :happy:

I hate ni lin and the only way I'll ever vote for ni lin if it's a least favourite Jay Chou song poll. :bleh: But moving on, I think jiang jun is a nice song and all but it just lacks that originality. Hearing jiang jun you can't help but feel that it's so Jay in the sense that it has been cut from the "Jay's hiphop song" template.

I love ti tian and ba wo hui lai le. Both songs are weird in a good sense. :-) You'll be hard pressed to find other artistes with such unique taste and lyrics. In the end, I'll go with Dad, I'm home bcos it's simply more of a classic. And when you're talking about hardcore, Ba, wo hui lai le simply has to take the cake. :D

I don't like Ni Lin, Ti Tian doesn't sound hip-hop to me, and I can't relate to Ba Wo Hui Lai Le. :oops:

So I voted for Jiang Jun! It's one of my favorite tracks from Qi Li Xiang, my most fave Jay album so far. In fact, after hearing that song, I rushed to buy the Qi Li Xiang album. :sweat:

It was a hard choice to choose between Ti Tian and Ba wo Hui Lai le - but then the lyrics in Ba Wo Huio Lai le won. And plus the style Jay sings it in,, he sings with a lot of emotion.

I voted for Ba Wo Hui Lai Le. It's the first ever Jay song I've heard, and I still think it's one of his best, very emotional yet hardcore.

I liked Jiang Jun a lot too, it was a pretty hard choice to make.

I was torn between Ti Tian and Ba Wo Hui Lai Le.

Dad, I'm Back is a classical to many and to me, is the ancestor of all the other Jay-style songs. However, Ti Tian always has a special place in my heart due to the topic Jay touched on. The whole environmental issues etc. and how kids in the future can only get to know animals through photos.

Hence here's my vote for Ti Tian!
