I am notoriously bad about hanging around forums though, no matter how cool they are. The only time I managed to stay at a forum at length was when I was making a protest for people getting kicked off a site (because in the Swedish Harry Potter fandom there can be no person who knows what the word 'fellatio' means, oh no), and was being insulting/sarcastic in a very intelligent and articulate way... it took *four months* before I got kicked off, and then it was because I compared a homophobic person to Hitler. (Hitler is such a 'no-no' subject for us Swedes, apparently. guilt, perhaps?) anyway... well, maybe that wasn't such a great way to introduce myself. but... yeah, there you go :P

I've started watching Asian drama series fairly recently, but I am already in love, and I've been listening to J-pop since... well, since I watched Prince of Tennis :P

I love jay for his music, he was the second chinese artist I listened to, the first being Jolin tsai.
I remember seeing Jay's Qi Li Xiang MV on TV, which really caught my attention.
After I finished watching the MV I found myself wanting to listen to the song again so I went on the net and googled jay chou, found other compositions of his, like Jian dan Ai, Jie kou, zui hou de zhan yi, etc. Got me hooked. :P
Since then I've broadened my interest in chinese music, listened to all sorts of other mando artists, like wang lee hom, jj lin, cyndi wang, zhang shao han, S.H.E.
Anyway I joined here because I'm a fan of Jay and I would love to meet others who share my love for his music :)

Years passed by, and between me and him it never worked out. Still I catch myself thinkin' of him when listening to Jay Chou..

Also I started listening to Jay Chou again after having watched Initial D which I loved. I love his music because I feel as if when I listen to it, all of me surrenders to his voice..

I'm CC; I'm American. I came across Jay when I was looking for music to help me learn mandarin (I have just started to learn and I know very little--but I'm trying!). A lot of the mandarin music is a little old-fashioned to my ears (but I still love Andy Lau!) but I love Jay's music and I listen to Fantasy almost everyday. It has opened up a lot of great Asian music for me.

I joined this forum in hopes of learning about any US concerts Jay might schedule. I would love to hear him perform his music live.
