Yesterday I went out to have a drink with my friends, and they said this year they've banned us from leaving the camp early for studies >< Unless you got a scholarship! That's ridiculous isn't it.. If I miss the intake, I'll have to wait until next year? :glug: Are they that cruel?

And another friend of mine just escape the NS by not going.. somehow or rather, no one came to catch him to camp or anything. So lucky eh! ><

but as long as you go there with positive attitude and a smile, i'm sure it would turn out fine.. :rolleyes:

Cookie, that's too bad. Then maybe you should apply for scholarship? I think sooner or later they'll get to him. My friend was selected for the 1st batch and he just ignored it. And end of last year, they called him and asked him to join this year's camp. He was shocked like crazy and went, 'I'm so old already!' :laughing: But he applied for postponement anyway since he's studying already. Let's just hope they somehow missed your friend's name. :tongue:

milkified - oh .. yeah , i did enjoy it .. very very much .. at first i din think i would enjoy it but i did keep a positive mindset.:D . i mean, i have no choice, i have to go .. might as well try to enjoy myself.. :dry:

as time pass by, it is really fun.. talking to the guys on the walkie talkie when doing night duty, fool around when washing the hall at night, spending time bonding with classmates in classes .. :happy:

i was not fond of outdoor activites.. like rakit and kayak.. such stuff.. i dislike going into the jungle too.. i have a black history, black memory with rakit.. on that one day i felt like dying in ns .. :bang:

well, for my camp, the fun part is .. they give a lot of time to break.. and they were lenient .. and the trainers are friendly.. :boxed:

as i said, it depends on which camp you get.. mine was the best , in my record.. fun , lenient and missable.. :sweat:

i remember the night when we had to take the bus home to our own states, my guy friends all came to me crying ..:cry: i even hugged one (see how lenient !) .. the tears just came out non stop.. and when i reached my destination.. i went into the car and then i just started crying again .. :bye: the journey is over..

for the next 6 months, every time i think of camp, tears welled up again.. :sadangel: but then again, there were rumors about me and this guy and that guy in camp.. oh well.. those things u just gotta ignore.. :tongue:

as for the oil thingy i just use the pantene leave on moisturiser.. and it depends on when i wash my hair.. if it's at night then i don't put dy.. since not going out.. if going out have to put and sleep with it lor.. no choice.. *sigh* i hate to sleep with it~~~

but anyways.. enjoy your straight hair days! hahaha.. i don't remembering me needing to look in the mirror to comb my hair when i had straight hair xD it just takes darn long to dry up!!!

cookie actually can escape NS one you know.. in the earlier days lah.. i don't know about now.. but i've heard tons of stories that my friends' friends never report for NS or the defer NS and ended never going for NS.. looks the gov't has already forgotten them! xD

i haven't met karyn in college yet.. just met her once end of last sem to pass her all my CAT text books ^^ when will you NS be finishing? when you come remember to tell yeah?? hehehe

and.. hmm.. there are a lot of intakes for CAt one ma.. no need to wait till next year one.. i think there are intakes in jan, mar, jul and sep.. not very sure.. but it's something like that lah xD

when it was my time, handphones are allowed , but they keep it .. none got stolen in my camp.. at the ending of the camp, i got discman and camera too.. they have lockers for you.. and you bring ur own mini lock .. i hang my key on my necklace ..

Just now I wrote a looonngg post and then couldn't post it because something went wrong with JCNET. Couldn't load it even. So I went blogging and came back and now it's working!!

Cookie yeah you can go online at college. Even better if you have a laptop with wireless connectivity then you can connect with the campus network. But I'm lazy to do that because no need to bring laptop to class even. XD

Fees also depends on which semester. I paid RM4 353 for the first semester (6 months), inclusive of tuition fees, textbooks, etc but excluding payment to ACCA UK. But then leh, ACCA is actually one of the cheapest course ever offered, approx. RM36 000 all-in for 3 years and you get a professional qualification recognised in 170 countries worldwide. So you can even work in Zimbabwe. Wherever that is XD

li-yin I got one question: After winning your world prize do you still need to make payments to ACCA UK? Or will Mr. Teo the sunway programme director pay for you too? :brows:

Why not, it's not like passing ACCA is a world record and so many others done it before =P So everytime you get scared thinking about exams think, "I will pass!!" XD

It's not hard, nothing compared to PMR and SPM and it'll be even harder when you get into college one of these days you'll look back and tell your kid, "Aiyah, UPSR? Nothing one lah. Close eyes also can score" XD

well, as long as you dont get pressured by the crazy kiasu smart people who keep writing and writing, you will be okay. when it was my turn to sit for SPM, when i got my place seating, my first reaction was,

"aiyoooh, damn far in front means go toilet need 5 minutes to get to toilet what a waste of time some more so far in front means got a lot of eyes on me cannot copy answer."

but then i realized that my seating [second from the front] is very good actually. i cant see anyone busy scribbling or i will be caught "cheating". it lessen my pressure alot and hopefully, i did my best [and can score straight 1A's? hopefully hehe]. once it's over, it's over. but then "one grain of rice can tip the scale" [karyn say one heheh] so study SMART and consistently and you will find that its not that hard.

i didnt study for UPSR and i got 4A's [i took 5 subjects]. so if you study [and you should], you can get straight a's. no problemo.

i've wayy too many soft toys. all also got names but all also in my cupboard. except for my most recent one. but i cannot sleep with spoft toys, i find it very annoying. =P

i used to score very low for my Bio, always get 39 or 40 or 45 or 50. then i analyse the answers and it's turns out i get low makrs cuz i never explain alot. bio have to write left right up down, everything also must write. =P. this method isnt proven though. wait till spm results come out, then we'll see if bio is like that. xD

just got back from another day of mad class.. normally for mondays, i have like class from 11.30 to 2.30 for P3.7 and then 3 to 6 for P3.5, and for tuesdays the same just that P3.5 come 1st.. but for some reason (which i'm not so happy of :dry: ) my lecturers decided that this week, we will have P3.7 from 11.30 to 6 for monday and P3.5 from 11.30 to 6 on tuesday.. :wacko:

worst thing is, SPM is pretty important. you fail, tak boleh masuk uni lor.

dreamer, some don't worry about UPSR, last time back in primary my science was bad, never got As once, always B or C and then in UPSR I suddenly got an A. Hehehe. Then it was back to those old marks in Form 1. Their marking scheme is low ... not giving u any ideas okay you still have to work hard ^^ There's no more Kajian Tempatan after UPSR. Not taught in secondary school. But ... you get to use calculator in maths!!! :D

shinjay periodic table is not hard to remember wan lah. U memorise everything once, and then look at the table everyday, in a week you'll never forget it. XD

li-yin yeah. It can be frustrating, like what happened to me, my progress test that day, I made some careless mistakes not because I don't know the answer but because I misread the questions. just one mistake, and the whole paper gone case, right? =( :sweat:

But then some people, [referring to myself] can only study like [insert hyperbole here] under pressure lol

alicia I really wonder who knew how to answer SPM 2006 Sejarah K-Ekonomi structure question. It drives people mad and they changed the format without warning argh. and the essay questions!! Grandfather stories :rolleyes:

cookie, after you've done your first CAT progress test you'll understand even better why marks for objective tests can so easily be lower than subjective ones. Or at least I did. It's because you're either right or you're wrong ... either 2 marks or zero. and chances of getting correct is only 25% per question. but for subjective questions, like in maths, you show the workings, they give u marks... :whistle:

oh yeah... i always sucked at science. i hated it, boring stupid subject. then i told my dad about how i think it's a stupid retarded subject and he told me, "science is interesting lah!" and actually... he's right. i only never found it interesting because i never study heheh. i got a B on my penulisan thing. but the rest was smooth sailing all the way through. i remember clutching my pencils when i masuk the class to take the exams though. i wasnt really scared.

not as scared as SPM, i mean. but when it starts, then after that, it's all right..

like SPM. the night before the first paper, i was couldnt sleep until 3am in the morning. and the next night, i could sleep well. =)

1st of all wanna apologize to karyn for cancelling our lunch date.. >.< marcus was seriously mad today.. we went on and on and on and on for 3 damn hours with only 2minutes toilet break in between... =.="

okay.. shogun ar.. its was nice.. (FAT xD) but i didn't eat the shashimi at all.. didn't look appealing to me... the cod fish also didn't feel like cod fish. enough of complains xD the teppanyaki was damn good... whatever you want, just take only~~~ so the next time i go, i'm just gonna hit on that only!!! and the porridge was so damn special.. got ginseng, chick, walnut, peanut.. can't remember.. but i'm a NUTS (and i mean it both ways kekeke) person xD the tempura was nice too.. but i didn't really eat that cause my face.. =.=" i ate lots of icecream, waffle and the cake too! extremely fat xD but next time i go, i really would just aim at the teppanyaki.. maybe next time i'll try out ZEN.. anyone?

i love add. maths back then. add. maths and physics are so challenging and super interesting. i remember my physics teacher indirectly cheer me up when she see i score a good 87% on test 3 of form4 physics, coz i was totally lost on early form4. she said that when we try our best, and it turned out great, we'll really cherish it. i guess she's very correct. for that sem's finals, i score highest in the school, beating all those top students from the top class.

but sadly, form4 and form5, too naive, too many things happened, and all my academic went on slope like the forex index. ^^ tat's why i need a time machine!!!

ok guys. here's the story. when i turn out to the straight road, i saw there's a motocyclist coming. but he is still far away. so.. i take my *own sweet time*. i was so free ma. then he couldn't stop. fell down behind me. and i don't care la. i thought no big deal. i went further up. mana tau dead end. have to u-turn back. that fellar chased me. asked me to stop. he said it was my fault and he asked me for money. i paid him rm20. he doesn't wana accept. he wants more. there's a lorry behind me wana use the road. so i don't care bout him and just drive off. on the way back, i saw from the mirror there's 2 malay guys followed me. of coz i feel scared. they pointing at my car sumor(see from the mirror). i turned here and there. they saw a big lorry and they were gone. don't know where they went. but that road not many people use. so 99% is them la. i report to the police d. they say they can't do anything because i not confirm bout his number plate. but they say it's good if i report. if that malay guy simply make up story.. at least i have already report. hopefully no gang come and beat me up, no gantung my license, no saman la..
