Jay and Sammi Cheng holding a show in HungHom in March

Pepsi this year on the 8th of March are going to hold for the first time, one session of "Family Charity Concert", including Sammi Cheng, Aaron Kwok, Jay, and F4, a very strong line-up. It will be long to the nature of charity. The funds raised will be donated to "Hepatitis Research Foundation" and be used to buy hepatitis vaccination for little children in Mainland, China. This time's concert is the biggest concert in the history of HOng Kong that has all the Pepsi spokespersons. All the artists on the list of performers are all busy people. Arranging the time was very difficult. Some members of F4 had to go to Japan to work. Aaron Kwok if filming a movie in Mainland China. Jay at the time will be in America performing. (my note: AMERICA?? REALLY?! :o) Because the event had so much meaning, they all changed their schedules by themselves. The tickets will be available on the 8th of February. The tickets cost $480, $380, $280, and $180.

We asked Pepsi's representitive Miss Li, if they will be inviting artists who once was the spokesperson to perform, like Leslie Cheung, Faye Wong, Kelly Chen, and Edison Chen, etc... She said, "Of course we hope they will come, Leslie Cheung was the first generation of spokesperson. He represents a lot. (Have you contacted him yet?) We are still in the middle of contacting him. (Edison Chen?) Welcome!" On the Pepsi side they have revealed that they style is still being discussed, they will be hoping for a break through performance. They have firstly talked to Security Company about security issues. The number of people will definitely break the records.

Pepsi also wants to get their English spokesperson, David Beckham to come, Fion (Pepsi representative) said, "Beckham needs to deal with so many mathces, of course he can't come personally to Hong Kong to be a guest but we hope to be able to invite him to tape some words on tape so that we can broadcast it at the concert."

Mm.. i dunno how much the tickets cost.. i mean in what kind of currency it's in. because HK$480 is pretty cheap. But in USD that's a crazy amount. Is it in yuen? But isn't that reallllly cheap then? Lol.. anyway, sounds like it's gonna be a really good concert!!!

and that part about jay being in the U.S again... hey, wasn't there a rumour bout him being in NY?? or maybe they meant canada? lol

I havent heard of any plans to go back to the US.. canadians are gonna freak out, getting lumped together with the US again??? :crazy: Lots of big names in the concert tho! u're right, $480 in hk currency is really cheap, but if it appeared in the hk papers, it doesnt make sense to have it in any other currency right? hmmm.. if its that cheap, im sure it'll be sold out within like a day....

The concert will be broadcast on 9/3 at 8:30 by HK TVB.
I am afraid it won't be a full version because it only lasts for 2 hrs. :unsure:

Though Jay has sung five songs, all the news in Hong Kong seems to only focus on F4. It was merely found any news about Jay performance. :rock:

from what i read at other chinese yahoo groups some fans who went to the concert said he was probably the artist who had the whole audience glued to their seats during his performance (and probably f4..hee)....and during the performances of the other artists like aaron and sammi a lot of people went out for their toilet breaks ! :wink:

another thing they mentioned was when he performed 'an jing' (he played the piano also) towards the end the of the song he changed the melodies a bit (some fans said it sounded a bit like the korean song 'i believe').....

wow, i guess it's just too bad, man, that people decide to go for toilet breaks during aaron and sammi's performance..heh, wouldn't those HK stars be steaming with jealousy of their taiwanese counterparts, as if they're only supporting acts while Jay and F4 are the real deal..the main acts hehe

Oh well. That's ok. Just as we all know Jay can kick any one's of F4's asses in a split second. Glad to find out that the people went for toilet breaks in the middle of Sammi's & Aaron's songs instead of Jay's. LoL. They're good singers, but still. Don't you think they've been around for a pretty long time now? Time for newcomers to take over. If anybody has a clip of this, please share it with us! Let's see how Jay performs and if his Canto is better or not. I wanna hear that song An Jing that he revised. "I Believe" is such a good song. If he made it sound like that song, it must sound good. The singer of "I Believe" sang it during a Miss HK International Pageant. My sister's friend tried out. She was from Seattle. Too bad she didn't make it. I never liked her anyway. LoL.

I jus wanna say that i was there in HK to see jay, even tho i didnt manage to get tickets to the concert, i flew there anyways with 2 frens over the weekend. We waited outside the coliseum after the concert with lots of other fans, mostly F4 and Jay, and some aaron kwok fans from singapore as well. Unfortunately, jay didnt appear =( Maybe he slipped out from the other entrance. We saw Edison Chen, Shine, and Aaron Kwok. But it was cool cos we got to know lotsa HK jay fans and they were all singing his songs as we waited out there in the cold. yes, it was freeezing in HK this weekend!! Then F4 fans would try to overpower jay fans' voices by singing that Meteor garden song as loudly as they can.. F4 is really big there. When we were shopping in Mongkok and Causeway bay, something like 70% of the stores were playing that F4 'canot lose you' song on repeat!! it was sooo annoying.. we tended to stay in the shops that played Jay CDs longer. there was this shoe store that had a huge screen showing Jay The One concert.. hehe.. we bought like 5 pairs of shoes there cos we jus wanted to hang ard a lil longer.. so we kept trying those shoes and a lot of them were cute!

what was really annoying about the pepsi concert was the f4 were constantly popping out and singing!

no offense to f4 fans, but they had these signs saying jerry and vaness... but when jay came out, they took the j-a-y to write jay, but they didn't take away the "ness", so it became jayness! so annoying!

o yea... jay said hello and his name in canto... but that was about it... he didn't really talk, as usual

hey steiffel! no i was one of those tall ones standing right in front being smashed against the fence and cussed at in cantonese cos apparently i was blocking pple's views... those pple holding the pepsi signs were right behind me. i joined in the singing when i knew the lyrics tho, hehe.. i totally know how u felt, i was sooo disappointed too, i almost couldnt believe itwhen the police started leaving.. my heart jus fell. i should've gone to the airport but was too tired after all that shoving
